Mr Everything Cafe

Today we visited another one of Atlanta's staples. If you have been here(ATL) since the early 90's, especially in the downtown area) CAU. Then you know it's none other than Mr. Everything Cafe on MLK. There are multiple locations and now there is a food truck option as well. I ordered 2 Salmon rice bowls, 1 steak rice bowl, and a grilled chicken salad. There is something for everyone, salad, sandwiches, burgers, vegetarian options and desserts. For my 21 and older that would like to get get a taste of the strong liquid, there's a full bar upstairs. If you have talent or you just want to showcase your bathroom acoustic voice, they have Karaoke night on Friday and Saturdays. I hope to run into you soon!

Mr Everything has been always been one of my favorite restaurants .It Now has an added bonus it’s a BAR now !!!!! . I had a Hen and Coke ….the drink was the best . the Bartender was on point with the Hen . Best Experience …..🥰😘💯

This is a really dope place to eat right by the Atlanta University center that has some really healthy tasteful options. The way the people treated us their hands down with some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. It’s the protocols to make sure our food was handled with care and really ensure that our experience was an amazing one. The food was such the right balance of flavors that it tasted good but didn’t leave you feeling heavy after you ate it. I’d your in the area stop by and try this delicious food

This place has been a staple in my life since my early college days (don't ask when that was - just say a very long time) and has not missed a beat since. Love everything about Mr. Everything. Here are my takeaways. Environment Mr. Everything has a brand new spot and location! Right across the street from the old location but they've upgraded with a two story space with more seating, more art, more modernized that gives people the option to dine in more comfortably or even sit back and have a drink upstairs. The decor is gorgeous and I'm really happy that they were able to improve their space. Service Most of the service is over the counter - you walk in, walk to the counter, tell them what you want, pay and then wait for your food to either take with you or eat there. They are sweet and used to the fast pace and business of the cafe so they are pretty patient and will help guide you through the menu since EVERYTHING is on it. I suggest taking a look at the menu before you go and bring all the questions you have when you get there. Depending on how busy they are depends on how fast you get your food. This place is usually busy so be prepared to wait. Order ahead of time if you can. The new space should make the wait a little more comfortable. Food and Drinks I usually get the same thing every time - the famous grilled chicken sub, whole and add spinach and broccoli. It's ALWAYS good. Love it. All the flavors mash together in a great way. I've had friends also get the grilled chicken over rice and they also loved this. Overall Don't walk here, run here if you're visiting Atlanta. Its a staple of the community that you should check out and find what you like. There are tons of options so come prepared to explore and figure out what you love. This will continue to be one of my favorite places to go.

The food is delicious but the customer service sucks! Some of their staff is very unprofessional especially over the phone! I will go to the Cambelton location instead!

Mr Everything was truly everything and worth the wait. A recommendation from a native Atlantian and over great choice.

They moved into the new building across the street since the last I been. They have more space now to crank out them good eats.. I was even lucky enough to find a park right out front. Went for my usual plate of rice while in the area. It was on point and hit the spot👌🏾This is comfort food to me. It's always the pick me up I need without being a big fuss. It's real food that is real good to me. The new location is well lit, clean with seating upstairs and downstairs. Nobody was hanging out front. Not sure if they have public restrooms tho.
