Where To Eat Vegan Food In The West End

"Get the Healthy Rice Choice topped with seasoned grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, and diced tomatoes minus the cheese and you have a vegan winner. For meat eaters and vegans, take-out spot Mr. Everything has been an AUC lifesaver that’s been around since buses shuffled wide-eyed students from campus to the Warehouse for Friday night clubbing. And you might even strike the leftover lottery since the Atlanta classic overstuffs your plate to give you bang for your less-than-$20 bucks." - jacinta howard

The West End’s Best Meals Under $20

"Another tiny takeout spot, Mr. Everything has been an essential part of the AUC dining experience for years. While affordable hot dogs and subs are both great off the grill, it’s the famous Healthy Choice Rice dishes that make the most sense if you’re on a budget. Depending on the meat (options like chicken, lamb, or salmon) sizzling atop your diced vegetables and bed of yellow rice, you’ll spend between $14 and $19. But because your plate is packed with so much stuff, you’ll likely have enough leftovers for your next meal." - demarco williams, nina reeder, jacinta howard

Service from the bartender upstairs was immaculate! I loved how she made me drinks with care and was very polite. The tacos were not very good 😭 but I’ll know next time now to get them. Everything else was great and I love how they made it look compared to when they were across the street. (From walk in to an actual sit down restaurant)

Google
Mr Everything has been a GO TO in my house since I was in high school! I love their rice bowls I always get the grilled chicken rice bowl with extra veggies and lite cheese! *chefs kiss* —-it’s been a minute since I’ve been here so I decided to try their new wings and I must say I was HIGHLY disappointed. I honestly didn’t even eat them. I ordered the teriyaki flavor and requested crispy and the wings were soggy and flavorless. I also requested for ALL FLATS which they charged me for and I didn’t receive. Their prices have definitely increased over the years which is understandable due to the economy but be prepared to spend $40-$50 just depending on how many people you’re ordering for and remember to check your bag before leaving even if the bag is tied.. I ordered extra sauce which I was charged for and they didn’t put it in my bag.

Google
So it's not even busy in the establishment. I dont understand how you manage to only give meat and rice when the whole concept of your establishment is the healthy rice bowl with all the ingredients. Im sorely disappointed. I tip extra every time I order from here. I get the same thing every time. To have to pay $30 per bowl and not even get half of my food is very wrong. Then you have the nerve to charge $1.25 per small cup of cucumber sauce smh. Where are the vegetables that go in the bowl???

The new spot was everything!! The last time I was here they were just around the corner in a very tight space and always crowded, but very with the wait! I'm so happy they were able to move and accommodate us patrons ❤️

Mr. everything Café was a delight visit . Quesadillas are the best in the market hands down. The healthy bowl is a hearty meal to consume. It’s also filling so come empty and hungry. The famous grilled sub was fantastic. Everything you purchased at this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

Google
It was my first time experience and I would recommend anyone to eat here!! Not only was the food phenomenal and made to order, but Brittney was very knowledgeable about the menu. I love how they have an upstairs area dedicated for 21 and up with a bar. The music upstairs was throwback 90s while downstairs was versatile. They Did you have lamb, which surprised me? But I did go with steak as my protein for the rice bowl. All I have to say is Chipotle will be out of business once this company franchises throughout the United States.. The freshness, the seasoning, and Customer experience was unmatched. Will be back

Google
3 years from 2/13/25: I've been eating at Mr. everything since college. Had to stop by and grab a few meals while in the area. The food was just as amazing as I remember! I'm so glad to see their success and upgrades to the business! 2/13/25 visit: I love the new building. Dope appearance, and they've even expanded to offer new services and products (bar). It looks very nice, and the food was just as amazing as I had remembered in my college days 🤤

Yelp
Mr. Everything's Cafe is one of those places that exceeds expectations with every visit & has not skipped a beat over the past few decades. First off, the food is fantastic on the fresh & healthy aspect. They offer a great mix of Southern comfort food and fresh, flavorful options. The "Everything" in Mr. Everything's is no exaggeration--there's something on the menu for every taste of sandwiches, fresh salads, and even vegetarian options. The portions are generous, so you get your money's worth. One standout is their famous sandwiches & bowls. The service is top-notch, too. The staff at Mr. Everything's is always friendly, welcoming & quick to get your food to the table. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, with a real neighborhood feel, making it a great spot whether you're dining alone or with friends. What I also love is the value. Despite the high-quality food and generous portions, the prices are reasonable, making it an ideal place to return to again and again without breaking the bank. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, a casual dinner, or enjoying the 2nd level bar area, Mr. Everything's Cafe is a place where you know you'll be treated to great food, excellent service & cozy, welcoming vibe. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a delicious, no-frills dining experience with heart & soul.

Yelp
Words can't even describe what I just experience for dinner from their food truck! That is by far the best Philly I have ever had! Out of this world!

Yelp
I went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was also " Open Mike Night. The place is very tiny. The air was NOT working this nite. So that was kind of miserable. But management did provide cold water for everyone, which was a HUGE plus for me. The place was nicely decorated. The entertainment was great also because they did have a variety of artists to perform, which made you forget you were about to pass out of heat exhaustion. The food I ordered was the hot chicken and vegetables over the salad. It was sooooo good. It was very well seasoned. To me, it was a bit pricey for the dish, but it was worth it! I'd come back and get it again.

Yelp
Just had the worst ignorant experience at Mr. Everything. I asked was the black bean burger vegan. She said yes. I get the burger and mayo and cheese is on it. She refused to make a new one . Said the best she can do is scrape the mayo and cheese off and give me new bread. She said she didn't know what vegan meant. We literally argued . She called a manager on the phone and still only offered to scrape the mayo and cheese off. The money wasn't the issue although they refused me a refund as well. It's the ignorance and no accountability. Never again !

Yelp
I love the new location. Very clean and spacious. Parking was easy and free on a Saturday. The food is always delicious and filling! They cook to order so call ahead or expect to wait 20 mins. Only downside, I asked for 2 extra ranches and told they were $2. The sauces are the tiniest sauces and they weren't even filled up all of the way. Sauces are highly overpriced.

Yelp
I had to start negatively.. but here we go! I don't know what's wrong with you all down there in Atlanta! But maybe if you lived in some rural areas like Nebraska or Idaho, you will start appreciating your people and these establishments. Moving forward. I remember this place from when I was at Morris Brown! After a 1hr/15min, 3 question test that took up 4 pages, back and front, this was a needed go-to! Back then, I used to order the chicken and grilled broccoli sub. Now they have salmon! And when I tell you that thing was so good! Oh my god! Not only did it bring back great memories, but it was just freaking delicious! This place has always been delicious! And guess what humans.. we actually have to wait on things! Such as food being made to order. We actually have to wait! Like, oh my god! Omg! You really have to wait for your food to be made! Like try not to be so American with the demands of having to wait so long of a small businesses. Moving forward (I think you can tell the entitled people in the reviews have gotten on my last nerve.) This will be my stop before I go back home, leaving Atlanta moving forward. I had no idea this restaurant was still open! And grateful to know that it is! Do know there is a bar/lounge up top! I think on certain nights they have karaoke. The bartender was the best! She made a damn good mocktail! I told her what o liked and TADA!!! But whether it's upstairs or just getting a sandwich to go before I hit the interstate, they will be seeing me more often! And to the owner, thank you for the fond memories and the great food! And to you entitled people, buy your own restaurant and see how fast you can get those orders out since you're on here griping about how slow it is to get food from this restaurant. I'm very disgraced by the entitlement. Do better! Because this food is too good for all of the negative feedback. I swear.... your own people can be the worst!

Yelp
Let me tell you something honey when they say the food was "slapping" mannnn it don't get no more slapping than this!!!! I ordered a bowl w steak and shrimp and it was so damn good i almost bit my finger. Now upstairs there is a nice bar where they were playing R&B. They also had sports playing on the TV. It's a very nice little lounge type area and the drinks were really good. You can take your food upstairs, sit by the bar and just relax. The ambience was so chill and the food was sooooo good. Been in ATL 1.5yrs and this is my favorite spot thus far. I cannot wait to go back!!!

Yelp
I haven't been to Homecoming since 2015 and I remember the last time I didn't get to grab a chicken sub from Mr. Everything. They used to cook the chicken on the flat burners. It took me 9 years, but I'm back and now, they have a bar upstairs. Sub is good, blue mfers are better, and CeCe our bartender is on my point. Good to be back, wifey in tow.
google avatar

Ty B.

Yelp
It was recommended by a friend.. So I finally had some , I was at Clark's Homecoming and it's down the Block towards MLK... The Service was Slow so I was expecting a great burger.... Fries didn't come with the burger, that was Additional. The burger was thick but taste kinda funny. Long story short... I was Hungry while I waited for my friend to join me... Didn't even finish the burger and went to a different spot n got some wings

Yelp
This is probably my favorite location of Mr. Everything! I love the convenience of its location! I always get the salmon rice bowl with the teriyaki sauce and it truly never disappoints!!! The service here is always great and they are typically pretty fast. They do have an upstairs and I always hear music, but I've never actually walked up there to explore.

Yelp
This place has been a staple in my life since my early college days (don't ask when that was - just say a very long time) and has not missed a beat since. Love everything about Mr. Everything. Here are my takeaways. Environment Mr. Everything has a brand new spot and location! Right across the street from the old location but they've upgraded with a two story space with more seating, more art, more modernized that gives people the option to dine in more comfortably or even sit back and have a drink upstairs. The decor is gorgeous and I'm really happy that they were able to improve their space. Service Most of the service is over the counter - you walk in, walk to the counter, tell them what you want, pay and then wait for your food to either take with you or eat there. They are sweet and used to the fast pace and business of the cafe so they are pretty patient and will help guide you through the menu since EVERYTHING is on it. I suggest taking a look at the menu before you go and bring all the questions you have when you get there. Depending on how busy they are depends on how fast you get your food. This place is usually busy so be prepared to wait. Order ahead of time if you can. The new space should make the wait a little more comfortable. Food and Drinks I usually get the same thing every time - the famous grilled chicken sub, whole and add spinach and broccoli. It's ALWAYS good. Love it. All the flavors mash together in a great way. I've had friends also get the grilled chicken over rice and they also loved this. Overall Don't walk here, run here if you're visiting Atlanta. Its a staple of the community that you should check out and find what you like. There are tons of options so come prepared to explore and figure out what you love. This will continue to be one of my favorite places to go.

Jaania B.

Yelp
I got the turkey burger 3 times now it's always a hit! I like having turkey bacon options they might be the only one in the city with that.
google avatar

Ruthy M.

Yelp
The food here is really good. I ordered a half sub Philly cheese and it was delicious. I tasted my friend's everything chicken with rice and it was also really good. This place really knows how to season their meats, which is why it taste so good. My only suggestion is to give the option of adding hot sauce to the Philly cheese and adding a little more sauce to the sub, because my sub lacked a little of the sauce. The food is a lot, very very filling. If I'm ever in the mood for a good cheat meal then this is the place to go too!

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Sandwiches/bowls/wings and drinks are good. Will return

Yelp
Incompetent inefficient cooks. Paid 60$ for two plates after driving an hour from the other location. Paid for shrimp and chicken barely got any chicken. After 15 minutes for a remake the cooks on MLK 7pm 4/15/24 took the shrimp completely off. Wish there was better compensation.

Yelp
Very poor service the food took extremely too long and it was overpriced very disappointed and expected better being that i brought my mother think it was going to be as good as it i used to be go there when i attended the clark

Aviance H.

Yelp
Mr.Everything is such a community staples I've been eating here since the 90's and in 2024 it does NOT disappoint. I love all of the upgrades and the staff is awesome ‼

Yelp
I Have Been To This Location 3 Times and Each Time I was Not Disappointed At All. The Fresh Vegetables, The Made When Ordered Protein, and The Taste It Has Combined Makes It All Worth The Wait And Price ($15-$20 Per Person). The Associates, Managers, Bartenders, And Owner Are Friendly and Easy To Talk To. There Are Activities That Go On Here As Well, Which Makes This Place A Spot To Have Fun With Your Friends. I Definitely Recommend Trying It For Yourself...Don't Just Take My Word For It.

Yelp
This establishment was very clean and professional. I ordered through the Uber eats app and got a two for one deal on the burgers. The burgers were good and the cookies were delicious!! I would love to come for an evening and sit on the deck I saw with this being down the street from the colleges.

Yelp
The wait take is true. Took 35 mins for my order. I should've called ahead. The food was good. Honestly it's a basic chicken & rice bowl. Great portion. Only paid $13 for my chicken bowl. The creole sauce & chipotle ranch sauce is good. I did feel bloated after I ate. I'll return one day.. maybe

Ann Holt ..

Yelp
I ordered with my coworkers earlier today and the food was horrible. My salmon hoagie was bland taste just like a mayo and lettuce sandwich jus nasty . My coworkers said their food was to salty. MLK gets a thumbs down today.

K S.

Yelp
Watch your credit card! I hate to give a bad review on black businesses but the bill was $46.62, gratuity already included but my card was charged $76.62! They tried to be slick with it but I'm not having it. WE WONT BE BACK!

Arielle

Yelp
I was dining in with SiSi and I had a wonderful experience! There was a happy hour taking place and I was able to get some delicious food. Her service was phenomenal she really took care of me. It was my first time being there and I will be a regular from now on. I also loved the ambiance in the establishment. I was surprised to see how big the restrooms were. Throughly impressed, I will be back

Yelp
I love me some Mr. Everything it is everything I love th r c h icken sub with all those vegetables mmmmm

Yelp
One of the best lowkey spots in Atlanta that I've been to, this is absolutely hands down a place you need to visit!!!!!
google avatar

Lena A.

Yelp
The service here leaves much the be desired. Came here on a Monday at 11:15 they had just opened. Placed my order was told it would be about 15 minutes. I finally got my food at 11:47, when asked for another sauce after I finally received my food and I was charged a dollar for it. I miss the times when I place would give you that sauce or that free fry or that free soda for your long wait when I was given a false time to wait for my food. Clean place, and good food but the service leaves a little to be desired.
google avatar

Gregg N.

Yelp
Tried this spot because my first choice wasn't open yet. I advise you to call ahead. I ordered the grilled chicken on yellow rice. It took them about 30 minutes to prepare. It was worth it!! I asked for teriyaki and Italian sauces. I recommend the teriyaki for this dish. Delicious!! I pulled into a parking lot and ate some before I got on the road. Three hours later, it was still good!

Fun T.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this new location. The food & staff got me in a chokehold since they were across the street. They do not proceed the black owned reputation, the service is great. I also love the New York esthetic, never forget where you come from.

Jailah L.

Yelp
Great food, drinks, music, and staff. The deals are worthwhile and the affordable food is high quality. Also has a spacious upstairs, downstairs, balcony, AND patio. Highly recommend to those in the West End/ MLK area.

Yelp
1 star because how can you fully rate a restaurant when they never bring the food? I occasionally visit the Mr. Everything in Fairburn off Old National, and love the food so much. So one of my friends invited me to the M.L. King location downtown for her birthday party. The space is very nice and has a second story where the party was. Very clean, but oddly only 1 single use bathroom downstairs. At any rate, after enjoying my friend's party upstairs I decided to order 2 chicken cheesesteaks to go on the way out. I placed the order at 8:25 pm, paid for it and was told it would be 25 minutes. I wait in the car and take a few calls and go back in at 9:00pm. The young lady who took my order was very polite and offered to check on my meal, and said it wasn't ready yet. I sat at a table for another 20 minutes and began to see people who came in after me receive their orders. I check again at 9:25pm and STILL NOTHING! The young lady apologized, offered me a free drink, which I declined. She then went to check with the cooks for progress on my order. Again just TWO CHEESESTEAKS!!! I saw an exchange from the cook that looked like he had no explanation and wasn't really pressed about it so I asked if I could just have a refund and cancel the order. I showed her that I ordered at 8:25pm and now it was 9:30pm!! She quickly obliged, credited my card and actually seemed relieved to just cancel it. While the venue did a good job hosting my friends event upstairs they never have to worry about me spending my money or visiting her again.. EVER!! The food is really good so make it a point to visit any of their other locations but I would avoid this one at all times. Sorry, can't post pics of food never provided. Epic fail - there are not a lot of places you can go and wait AN HOUR for 2 cheesesteaks that never get made, but this is one of them.
google avatar

Candyce V.

Yelp
This is based on an order I placed on Postmates, so I can only speak on the food itself. I'd been hearing about Mr. Everything from my friends who went to school in the AUC. And after almost 13 years in the ATL, I have finally tried food from this restaurant. I went with the Healthy Choice Yellow Rice Dish wish mushrooms, broccoli, bell peppers, cheese, tomatoes, grilled shrimp, and grilled salmon served on top of a bed of yellow rice (of course). It was flavorful, delicious, and filling. I'll be eating the leftovers for lunch! Not sure if I'll ever go to the physical location, but I don't mind asking my cousin Postmates to go fetch my food for me every now and then!

Shelly M.

Yelp
Door Dash lunch order delivered. No BBQ sauce as requested see attached picture. They sent honey mustard & ranch of which were not requested & I do not eat. Of course this location is not answering their phone.

Yelp
The Food was Official I got 3 Sandwiches to try with my brother. I loved the cheesesteak i got it just steak and cheese. Bread was soft and steak was tender. The cheese was perfect blend. You wont regret it the sandwiches here are super official. when you get full sandwich its like 16 buck but they giveyou a lot.

Neptina N.

Yelp
Food is excellent and always fresh, not quick because they prepare to order. The service is great.

Yelp
I love mr everything ‼ especially this location it's so clean and the food is always fresh and ready to go . The young lady Who Took My order was so kind , I will for sure be back!

Yelp
I finally made it over to vinecity for Mr.Everything for a second time. This time i ordered by phone and thought i was gonna pull up to get my order but they had moved! Not far but i was looking around for the new spot until someone pointed out that it was now across the street on the opposite side of the street. I ordered the salmon/shrimp with everything. Before this visit i ordered chicken/shrimp along with the chipotle sauce. It was good but i find it expensive especially for the few cut up pieces of salmon that i found scattered on my yellow rice with about 5 shrimp. I paid $18 for that. Good/but a nice piece of filet salmon would have been better. I havent tried anything besides the rice plates so if i return and try something else on the menu then i will change my rating. For right now its a 3 star for the rice plate
google avatar

Cameron N.

Yelp
I'd been meaning to try this place ever since I saw someone on Twitter post pics of their plates. My job relocated me to a property within walking distance, so I finally got around to it this week. The location is pretty small. You can parallel park on the street, but there's also a lot next door. I think most of it probably beings to Chick-fil-a, but I'm sure everyone just parks there anyway.‍ So when you walk in, you're RIGHT at the counter. Like, smack dab. There's a couple of seats to wait for your food and a little space on the side where you can stand if you want to. I will say: DON'T come here if you're in a rush or just an overall impatient person. Also, don't come here if you claustrophobic. My break is only 30 minutes and I spent the entirety of it waiting for my food, but it was worth it. The famous "everything" dishes are listed on the menu as "healthy choice", and yeah, it has a couple vegetables- but it's still everything BUT healthy. Broccoli, onions, mushroom, bell pepper, tomato (I opted out) smothered in 3 cheese with your choice of meat (chicken, shrimp, salmon, steak) all over a hefty helping of yellow rice. They also have a nice selection of sauces to top your food with. Spicy creole (BOMB!), teriyaki, chipotle just to name a few, and they give you two for the free. The portion size is huge. Your tray will end up being around $10-$12 but it's definitely worth it because you can eat from it more than once, or share with someone if they not too greedy. I had half for lunch and then finished the rest off for dinner. I really enjoyed it. The flavors were bold (def hints of Italian seasoning) and the sauce was the perfect touch. It's something you realize "Well damn, WHY didn't I think of this!" first, cuz you could definitely make your own rendition at home. My only real complaint is that I wish the vegetables were more...vegetable-y. I like my broccoli vibrant, and green and very broccoli- lookin! My vegetables were on life support. Any bits of life/color my vegetables had was sucked out on the grill and then promptly escorted to vegetable hell. Like they tasted good, but I wish they were lamest well-done. Oh, also! had a sweet tea that was really good, but only if you're the the that likes lemon already in there. Otherwise, not for you.

Yelp
The chicken sub was . Can't wait to go back.. I'd recommend ordering ahead if you can tho, very busy but for a good reason tho

Yelp
I've frequented Mr. Everything's since the days when they were located on the Promenade when I was a student at Morehouse. You cannot go wrong with nearly anything on their menu. My personal favorites are the Grilled Salmon Sub and the Healthy Choice Rice w/ Shrimp. When possible, I'd highly recommend calling ahead. They've gotten so busy, however, during the pandemic that they almost never answer there phone. Although you can go and order your food directly at their location on MLK, be prepared to wait anywhere from 40mins to an hour for them to prepare the food. I'd say that the wait is problematic, but when you're buying food from a restaurant like this that incomparable to any other place in the city...well, you just wait! And on the other side of that wait, is some very good, finger-licking food. Let me give you a run-down of my two favorite choices. Healthy Choice Rice w/ Shrimp -- In this bowl you'll receive a healthy serving of yellow rice topped with veggies ranging from tomatoes to lettuce covered with cheese and toppled with some succulent grilled shrimp Grilled Salmon Sub -- You can nearly never go wrong with this. I usually crave this sub at least once a month. As a pescatarian, it's hard to find a good sandwich with seafood. Well, look no further. This sub will remind you of your favorite Philly Cheesesteak elevated to a level fit for the greatest seafood lovers. It has everything you could imagine a cheesesteak having, except they substitute the steak for salmon. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this one. If there's one thing wrong with Mr. Everything's, it's the wait. But even then, I'd still give them a 4.95 stars! Bon Appetit!

Yelp
After waiting 35minutes for an ordered online. The food was not prepared correctly. Simple request of Tomatoes on 1 order---but received 3 orders with NO tomatoes on any of them. This restaurant was GREAT when the father was running the day to day operation but now it really suck. I you are willing to wait 35-45 for to go food that's not cheap and made to order...I expect the order to be CORRECT. And you can never reach the business by phone, AWFUL

Yelp
I cannot believe I have never checked in here or written a review for Mr. Everything. My bad. This post is long overdue. I know there are 3 locations but I only know the staple location that started it all in 1993. Located on MLK. This establishment is a steady investor in the 30314. The food is wonderful. Fresh. Made to order sandwiches, wraps and yellow rice bowls. You will love the way you can come alone or come with a group and you all can specifically order what you want your way. And of course you can have your order picked up by grub hub or uber eats. That means your food is cooked to order. Expect to wait. And it is worth the wait. Huge portions that could easily be shared or two meals. Fresh ingredients. Endless menu combinations, but like most of us, you will settle on your very own regular order and your very own favorite sauce. Yellow rice Steak bowl with everything. Chipotle spicy sauce. $11. Go now. Go often. #Twentysixyearsandcounting

Yelp
When in Atlanta for work, this was my go-to when on the run. The chicken and rice with veggies and yum yum sauce is simply DIVINE. I hadn't been since the pandemic hit and I was pleased to see that the quality of the food hasn't gone down. So many places are not the same, this isn't one of them. They also moved across the street into a smaller space. If you were ever curious about this place, GO, it won't disappoint!!

Yelp
The food was so good and definitely fresh made to order! Great option for a health conscious meal when wanting something different from chains. I typically look for black owned businesses to support whenever I can and I like to check the reviews prior to placing an order. The reviews for this place were spot on for sure so I'm just adding to an already amassed pile of accuracy. Ordering process: very streamlined, placed order online via the Yelp app which send through Grub Hub at their establishment. I didn't notice any gross differences in the pricing based on what the restaurant menu had posted versus what was on Yelp. I know sometimes there are sneaky little surcharges that get added onto the menu items when ordering online through a third party service, but I didn't rectify any glaring difference. The estimated time to completion was spot on. I was quoted a 45-55 min wait and the pick up window time was about a thirty minute span. My order was ready at the begin of the pick up window in the dot. COVID Procedures: Masks are required and no more than 5 patrons in the building at the time which helps with social distancing. You must be buzzed in from outside before entering to adhere to safety. All employees had on masks and gloves from what I could see. Plexi glass was installed for the added layer of protection for everyone as they engaged in business exchange. Overall atmosphere appeared to be very clean and well kept and they had a high quality/health safety rating posted on the wall and on YELP. Parking: street parking and there is some additional parking in other local lots but they belong to other businesses so I wouldn't chance being parked for too long because it appears to be a high visibility towing area. Make sure you brush up on your parallel parking skills before going, lol. It's a busy thoroughfare and intersection and you don't wanna get caught slipping not knowing how to get outta the way of the traffic. Seating: this is pick up/delivery only. No indoor seating.m which was fine with me because I'm used to establishments like this having lived in DC a few times. Service: really good and inviting. They kept things moving well and really streamlined - especially since the space inside is limited. They greeted me when I walked in, were all very pleasant and attentive, and verified my name and phone number before releasing my order. My order was atop the counter hot and ready to go as soon as I walked in and got in the order pick up line. The wait time is long and many others commented on this so I made sure to submit my order early so I would have to sit and wait too long when I arrived for pick up. Pricing: $-$$ spot on and there are plenty of options to choose from to for any palate. Food: was great! Made fresh and wasn't heavy with a bunch of unnecessary seasoning and such. I ordered the shrimp rice bowl and it came just as pictured on the site. I liked that I could see all my ingredients and it was packaged and presented so well. It held very well in my 30 min transport home and was even still warm when I sat down to eat. Location: it's in the heart of the West End area and close to Morehouse. If you aren't familiar with the area, the AUC or West end, make sure you are taking all safely precautions and eyes open. They have done a good job to position them selves in a visible location and have some safety features in place to protects patrons and employees - make sure to do you part as well. I loved that I could support this BOB and I plan to return. Hope you will support as well. Pic below for confirmation!! Great job Mr. Everything!!

Yelp
I decided to check out Mr. Everything Cafe as a recommendation since I wanted to support a black owned restaurant. My lunch included rice, shrimp, broccoli with melted cheese. The flavor was great. This is a spot you go to order your food and get it to go. I ordered ahead and it was done in about 20 minutes. The service was great. I would definitely order from them again for a quick bite to go!

Yelp
Food always good at whichever location I eat at...just don't be in a hurry! You will be waiting.

Yelp
Service was good. However, I order the "low carb salad" and as I'm devouring it, I notice that they put rice even after I informed them, I was on a low carb diet. I'm really annoyed because it ruined my diet and It look like they accidentally did it and realized it wasn't supposed to have rice. So instead of just making a brand new one, they just figured it was only a little rice, maybe I won't notice. Like what if I was allergic or something? NO WHERE in the low carb salad even mentions rice. I can't even eat it and I hate that I wasted $ like that.
