My husband and I tried Mr. Moto Pizza back in April when they first opened. We specifically went for their lunch special at the time, which was two slices of pizza and a drink for $5.
We were able to try four different kinds:
Mama Moto: Burrata cheese, truffle oil, parsley, and cherry tomatoes on our homemade garlic paste base.
Mr. Moto: Italian sausage, Spanish chorizo, burrata cheese, marinara dot, on our homemade garlic paste base.
Furious Diablo: Garlic chicken, buffalo sauce, homemade ranch, on our homemade garlic paste base.
California Love: Bacon, chicken, homemade ranch, caramelized onions, on our homemade garlic paste base.
My favorite was the Mr. Moto but I think it's mainly because I like Italian sausage. The Mama Moto was very refreshing. The California Love was very savory while the Furious Diablo had that buffalo tang to it.
I really wanted to try their Rocky Mountains pizza but they didn't have it ready when they opened. So if you want that pizza, be sure to come a bit later in the day.
I really liked the thin pizza style -- the bottoms were crispy almost, which was nice. However, I'm not a huge fan of their dough so I didn't like the actual crust much.
We also tried their stuffed garlic knots -- we one of each kind: pepperoni and jalapeno & spinach and ricotta cheese. However when we cut into both, they were both pepperoni and jalapeno. Since we already cut into it, we didn't want to tell them to switch it. The stuffed garlic knots were good but I wish they were warmer cause the it would have been really nice if the cheese was more melty.
Overall, if I wanted a slice of pizza, I would definitely come to Mr. Moto but if I were to buy a whole pie, Mr. Moto wouldn't be my first choice.
