So I'd read stories about Mr Beast Burger ghost kitchens and more recently about the lawsuits with VDC. Also last year my coworker went to MrBeast Burger when it opened inside American Dream and swarms of fans descended at the physical restaurant.
My curiosity peaked (and before it possibly closes), I wanted to check out Mr Beast Burger, so I dragged my vegetarian husband there while we were at American Dream. I bargained with him - if it was bad, I'd owe him a meal anywhere else in the mall. Begrudgingly he agreed and indulged me.
For what it is, I thought Mr Beast Burger at AD delivered and it was good. I got a Beast Burger Double. The burger was good. Fries were a little too salty but had a good crisp to them. My husband got the grilled cheese combo (he's a vegetarian who isn't into impossible burgers or faux meat). He likened the grilled cheese to an arepa (a compliment noting cheesy goodness).
The staff at the register and who brought our food to the table were friendly. Also the seating areas (there is an area by the registers, a section lining the outside of the restaurant, and one more inside) were clean and well maintained. The napkin/condiments/drink areas were clean, and they had working hand sanitizer dispensers.
While we were there, we saw a birthday party come through - a group of maybe 20 little kids - super amped to be there. They set up a long table with small chairs for the kids to sit. Before they sat down, the mom grouped them all together in front of a Mr Beast photo op backdrop and took pics. It was cute to see how happy they all were.
I'm surprised by some of the more recent reviews. Maybe I lucked out and visited on a better night :/ Overall, it was good.
