Mt. Paran Country Store

I stayed at my uncle's house for the night. As I left, I found this quaint store on the way out of the neighborhood. The people were so friendly. I got a link sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit that was Incredible. will go back next time to get another biscuit.

An unexpected surprise on the corner of Mt Paran and Northside. In the middle of residential Atlanta, just what I needed to find a good bite to eat. Miss Laverne cooks an amazing bacon cheese burger. Drinks, snacks, convenience with charm. Thank you!

You can have one of the best beef and ham burgers in Atlanta. Must visit this place if you are in the town.

IYKYK but if you don’t, stop by around lunch time and find out. If i’m working in the area, or heck if i’m remotely close to the store just passing through, i’ll come by and see what they have cooking on the grill. I’ve done that since my first time visiting back in 2013. That’s the kind of magic they have banging on those hot tables in the kitchen. And then of course you have the staff. Every single employee there no matter what time of day you go in, treat you like family. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Truly one of Georgia’s hidden gems. Nice little spot. Has gasoline. Normal gas station with snacks, beverages, candy, and they do have food. From chili, hotdogs, burgers, condiments and diced onions,cut jalapenos, and relish available as well as BBQ sandwiches ,fish sandwiches ,regular square bread ham and turkey sandwiches, deviled eggs, brownies.....so you should find something. Friendly staff i work in the area been going over 20 years.

The sign on the building since it was open since 1905. It doesn't look like it's been cleaned or maintained since 1906. The floor is covered in mats to cover up the holes and it's pretty filthy inside. But they have a food stand and the stuff was really good. you could see them preparing the food, and it it's a throwback to the time before they have these things called sanitary regulations. we don't need none of that stuff. there was an old guy playing the guitar with long hair and singing, straight out of deliverance. but the food was really good. I don't think my review was going to make one bit of difference since the place is been open for over 100 years and seems to do a pretty good business. check it out. You won't be disappointed. It's only a mile from civilization on Mount Paran Road.

If you want some good Georgia hospitality and down home people this is a sanctuary in the heart of multi million foo foo chi chi Mt Paran. Home made burgers, tuna salad, deviled eggs and a tiny porch full of everyone from construction guys on break to Dads taking their kids for a slush puppie + hot dog on the way home from school.

Awesome century old country store in the middle of ritzy mansions on Mt. Paran. +. Ambiance is throwback, hole in the wall house convenience store / gas station. This small rustic house looks like it's had better days long ago but is a quaint charmer. +. Food at the kitchen counter is old school fast food. Honest, cheap, fast and good. Their BBQ pulled pork was tasty but is on the sweet side. They also carry the usual cold bevies and snacks at competitive prices. They sell gas here. ++ prepared Food is extremely reasonable...it's cheaper than a cup of coffee at Starbucks! ++ Service is friendly and helpful. + Parking is limited...only a few but it's not a problem. This is not a high volume store. Watch out for chickens from next door when you pull in.

This place is awesome in the fact that they offer self serve slush puppie icees. I'm talking about the ones from the 80s! (I'm aging myself but i don't care, they are that good) In addition to a cup of nostalgia, they offer roller dog hot dogs which one customer came in specifically for and depending on the day, their are various types of sandwiches prepackaged for lunch (chicken, bbq ) You can also get boring necessities like gas and Cheetos as well. If you are in the middle of buckhead, you should stop in! I would return!

Not often you come across slush puppies. 5 flavors! 2:09 for a 20oz Cute little gas station and store. Lots of options inside. I went specifically for the slush puppies and I'll definitely be back for more. They're also hiring looking for cooks!

Lived here for years and just stopped for the first time today. The BBQ sandwich is simple and nice for a quick bite. I will be back to try something on the menu..I was just starving and grabbed a ready to go sand which.

My favorite chili of all time comes from Mount Paran Country Store. A visit to Holy Spirit Catholic Church is incomplete without stopping in across the street for chili.

Simple store, in a residential area in Buckhead. Look and feel like a country store, even though you are in the middle of the city. Get in, get some of the breakfast sandwiches a drink and head out. Simple and good. The sandwich itself was a 3, but the whole combination of location and vibe move this to a 4 star.

Hidden among upscale housing in buckhead, you'll find this gem of a breakfast spot. We arrived while the biscuits were still cooking and waited outside till they were ready. They were 100% worth the wait. Super affordable prices for a big biscuit that you'd expect to pay twice as much for at other breakfast joints in the area. If you're looking for a great bite to eat, early morning, make the stop.

Meh, just got a sausage and egg biscuit. All pretty much microwaved, nothing special. Wanted to really love it, cute little place, but not really worth returning for the biscuits.

Thinking about going to McDonald's for lunch? Think again!!! The Country Store is simply the best in the business! It's a hidden gem that will leave are you coming back time and time again. If their phenomenal service doesn't do the trick, I guarantee you a bacon cheeseburger will! It doesn't stop there folks, grab a slushy or a bag of big league chew for the child in YOU! Pro Tip: Grab a bag of the Best Beef Jerky in TOWN (just ask for IT)

You don't really need to come here. It's just a convenience store up in the hills. But the fact that this is locally run and they owners make homemade chili, buscuits, and sandwiches makes me smile. I'll take the trek just to realize how good locally owned can be.

Been coming here since the sixties Pete and Jan have made this place great the best burgers ever a secret Buckhead spot. Stop by every morning for coffee and biscuits hot dogs are excellent

I am serious these barbecue sandwiches are off the chain awesome. The morning biscuits are pretty darn good. Not quite Chick-fil-A but not far from it. The people inside are great folks and you were treated like a regular even if you are not.

The Mt. Paran Country Store is the cutest little gas station you will find anywhere. It has a great selection of food, beverages, and even even a few toys. This place truly has something for everyone that stops by. I have been to the store about 500 times and have come out with a smile on my face every time I visit.
