The 25 Best Restaurants in Albuquerque, New Mexico | Eater

"Bar Roma filled the void of longtime Nob Hill anchor Kelly’s Brew Pub in 2022, and has since become one of the most popular spots in the city. The fifth location of the M’Tucci’s Italian restaurant group dishes up house-made pasta, salumi, and other Roman classics. Additionally, the team’s exclusive cocktail bar, Teddy Roe’s, tucked in the alley behind the restaurant, has made its own impression. Must-try dish: On your way out, pick up some packaged sausages, charcuterie, and shrubs so you can make your own M’Tucci’s-inspired meal at home." - Justin De La Rosa

I came in for a solo Tuesday night dinner around 8 PM and was greeted right away with warmth and professionalism. The staff kindly directed me to the bar (open seating), and I loved the vibe: relaxed, good energy, not too crowded, and easy to settle in without feeling crammed. I ordered the artichoke and leek dish along with the Amaro Glazed Ribs from the happy hour menu, and wow, the ribs were the standout. They fell right off the bone and had that signature New Mexican flavor. Not spicy, just deeply flavorful, rich, and comforting. The kind of dish that reminds you why local flavor matters. The ribs alone would bring me back. To drink, I had the Baroma cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. It had this beautiful, spiced complexity without overwhelming heat. Just enough kick to keep things interesting, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. I also had a glass of Gruet sparkling wine, which paired nicely with everything and felt like a little local nod. One great surprise: happy hour runs all night on Tuesdays and isn’t just small bites, as it includes full dishes and craft cocktails, and the portions are generous. The beef tips caught my eye but will have to wait for next time. They looked like a full dinner plate for just eight bucks. This was my second visit to M’tucci’s Bar Roma, and both times the staff has been kind, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re going solo like I did or with friends, it’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable right away. It’s rare to find somewhere that hits the trifecta of great service, great food, and a laid-back atmosphere without any pretension. If I had one tiny suggestion: a touch more lighting at the bar might help bring out the color and presentation of the food, because it deserves to be seen as much as tasted :) Whether you’re a local or just passing through Nob Hill, this is a gem worth making time for. I’ll definitely be back!

Google
what a lovely delicious wonderful meal in a convivial atmosphere, on the patio, in front of this "second life" gas station turned top tier Italian Roma restaurant. Executive Chef & Sous Chef are making all the right calls here . when applicable, menu items clearly marked gluten free & organic . Great Wine List ! the touches - blackberries, capons, meringue on the gluten free mocha cheesecake - - the pickled onions & goat cheese on our salad - can't say enough about it all . Thank you for opening a true restaurant without screens everywhere - with linen napkins & great service .

The food was pretty good. The appetizers were better than the mains. We were disappointed with the spicy arabiatta as it was too al dente. The Pasta Tartufo was good. The waiter was busy this evening and it took much more time to get things we had asked for.

I went here for brunch with 8 adults and 1 child. It was a friend's birthday. Right off we're given water with cucumbers in it. Our party has a person who is allergic to cucumbers, so we asked if different water could be brought out to them due to this. The waiter seemed annoyed by this. Our food came and again it was requested that non cucumber water be brought out. Finally that request was fulfilled. Next the mother of the child asked what fruits and vegetables were available, as she wanted to order a side of fruit and veggies for her son. Once again the waiter seemed annoyed by this request. If it was a problem to order sides of fruits and veggies, just say its not offered. It's that easy. I had the eggplant benedict. Unfortunately it was overcooked a gooey. I did not send it back or bring it up, since it seemed our water was already bothered by us. I just didn't finish it after a couple bites. We also had the bloody mary bar. It was was first bloody mary bar experience. It was pretty good. Overall, I do not think I will ever return for brunch.

The ambiance and atmosphere create the perfect setting for a romantic date night, with the added charm of live music on Wednesday evenings enhancing the experience. The service is exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and offering excellent recommendations. As for the dining experience, the charcuterie board provided a simple yet satisfying start. My entrée, the seared fish (selection may vary), was flawlessly cooked and seasoned to perfection. It was beautifully complemented by whipped potatoes and grilled artichoke, making for an unforgettable dish—one I am already planning to return for. The meal concluded on a delightful note with the Chantilly cake, a perfect ending to an exceptional evening.

This was our second visit. On a Thursday night we didn't have to wait long for two people and no reservation. The hostess was one of the best I've encountered in ABQ. The food was just perfect, as usual, great service. We really appreciate that each location has a slightly different menu.

This was our first visit. We were invited to the Drag Brunch. The brunch was good. Just wish they would have had waffles, or pancakes or maybe an Italian Tort. Anyway, Bloody Mary was the best I’ve ever had. The entertainment was very entertaining and fun. We stuck around afterward for the great live music. Moved up to the bar where our service continued to be impeccable. Fetty is a great bartender. Ellis the bar back busted his ass with a smile on his face. Give them both a raise. We didn’t try any other food but what we saw come out looked amazing. All staff looked very happy. Acted and dressed very professional. The place is very clean with good design and decor. We will be back and bring more friends with us.

Came in for Happy Hour on a Friday. Sat in the bar. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Had an excellent margarita, 2 actually... So much so, I forgot my credit card when I left 😀. We had food off of the happy hour menu, one of each. Every one of the plates was stellar ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, especially the ribs. Lots of people and energy. The staff was also super professional and friendly,🙂 which made for a fun, memorable evening. Thanks M'Tuccis for a great time 💕

Yelp
Great spot in the Nob Hill area. Biggest issue is limited parking for what seems like a pretty busy location. I ended up parking on the street in the neighborhood a couple blocks down. Very nice dining space and bar seating, they even have a small outdoor dining area. Met up with a friend for dinner, had some drinks and appetizers - calamari and charcuterie board. The board was loaded up and filling so we didn't even make it to ordering entrees but it was delicious! Service was top-notch too so I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Yelp
I finally had a chance to try M'Tucci's Bar Roma after it being on my list for a long while. I was there for dinner and got a chance to try their Black Truffle Artichoke soup, Linguine Alla Gricia and Lemon Cake. I thought they all tasted good. The portion was ok, a bit on a smaller side, if you are used to big American portion. The only thing was most of the dishes were a little too rich for my taste (yet they tasted good)! I liked the energy around the space and if you stop by at the right time, street parking surprisingly wasn't too hard to find. I want to definitely try to come back again to try other dishes.

Yelp
Wonderful happy hour with great drinks to choose from. Particularly delicious is the strawberry basil smash and the pink rabbit. I do wish they would add more alcohol. I'm quite the lightweight, but even for me a smidge more would be nice. I'm obsessed with their fried shrimp and calamari, absolutely delicious. The carne pizza is perfect! The service is kind and professional while the restaurant itself is cosy and nicely air conditioned.

Yelp
M'Tucci's Bar Roma is a classic yet modern Italian eatery in the heart of Nob Hill, and heart it has indeed. You can tell the level of attention to detail from the ambiance to the food and drinks. A reservation is recommended or be prepared to wait, also if you are lucky you can find a spot at the bar. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional! I had the espresso martini, it was velvety, smooth and everything you want in the drink! The foam on top was perfectly dense and pillowy for the espresso beans to sit on top. Beautiful presentation and tasty! We also ordered some apps, charcuterie is a must! Also just the bread with olive oil on its own. We also had some crispy fried calamari and some short ribs. I'm not sure if their menu rotates, do be sure to ask your server for the current specials or offerings. We talked to Audrey, one of the managers and she made sure that our visit was absolutely perfect. Shout out to Audrey! If you are looking for classic and authentic, this place is a must, not to mention local! #supportlocal

Yelp
Came to M'tucci's for dinner on a Friday night without reservations & was able to get seated within 20 minutes. The hostess and waitress were friendly and lovely throughout my meal. The indoor seating was clean and spacious. You can order half plates of pasta to try more flavors, very cool. Glazed Ribs - (4.5/5) Amazing ribs and plentiful to share. There is a sweet glaze paired with bell peppers which I am not used to for ribs. Barramundi Special - (4/5) Delicious fish! Loved the pairing with the mashed potatoes and arugula. There was a bit too much arugula & the artichokes were very salty chunks/pieces. Linguine alla Gricia - (4/5) Cute dish with small pieces of pork belly. Pasta All'Arrabiata - (3/5) Solid dish, but the cheese and red pepper flakes were strong in this one. I would come back to try more of the menu, I heard the flat breads are must-try!

Yelp
I loved everything! ! I've heard good things about all the locations and this was perfect before an opera showing at pope joy down the street. I'm not from New Mexico and don't live in abq but this was the first really good/perfect pasta I've had since living here 3+ years now. The service was great, the menu was fantastic, and the food was perfect for us.

Yelp
Go anywhere else for brunch. We ordered the italian sausage hash and the lemon ricotta pancakes, and got our food after about forty minutes. The sausage skillet was lukewarm, like it had been sitting out for a while. We sent back the lemon ricotta pancakes because they were burnt, and very promptly received a new order of pancakes which weren't much better. For $14, we got two small pancakes that had been cut in half and spread on the plate to look like a larger serving. Though not burnt, they were dry and bland--not sure if they used much lemon or ricotta. The "syrup" was their seasonal shrub syrup, which they don't tell you is made of fruit soaked in vinegar. So our pancakes tasted like berry salad dressing. And, there was no whipped cream like the menu said! The service wasn't great either. After we received our food, our server did not check on us except to take our plates away, and we had to flag him down to send our burnt pancakes back. Will not be returning.

Yelp
Overall: M'tucci isn't traditional Italian but it is quite good if you want something that feels like a comfort meal. Food: 4 Braised Pork Cacio e Pepe Pizza: The pizza was excellent. The crust was thin but wasn't overly crispy. It had the right amount of bite and an excellent char. The pork was melt in your mouth tender. Pasta Tartufo: This was a decadent pasta similar to a carbonara. I didn't like the sauce that much because it felt a little grainy. Service: 5 The wait staff is always excellent. They are patient/careful with requests and dietary restrictions. They pay attention to your table without hovering or interrupting too much. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is a great place to eat with friends or for a date night. The only con is that it's super hard to find parking in Nob Hill.

Yelp
This M'Tucci's location is right on Central, Rt. 66, in Nob Hill. It's really nicely designed within the old mechanic garage building. It is a pretty fancy atmosphere with various rooms of tables and good ambiance. One thing I don't like is that it gets quite loud, and the tables could be a little more spread out. Additionally, there is a big outdoor patio in front that's nice to sit at on a summer night. The food is quite tasty and well-prepared, from drinks to appetizers, to pasta, to dessert. You can tell they take care with getting flavors, dishes, and presentations right. This is a good place for a special occasion or dressing up for a fun night out.

Yelp
Great food and attentive staff. Love the charcuterie board I have not had anything I didn't like!! It can be a bit loud when they are busy.

Yelp
Stopping through during our stay in ALBQ and saw the aperol spritz umbrellas outside. My gf and I love Aperol spritz. We were surprised when our amazing bartender asked if we wanted a pitcher. Such a fun way to celebrate our Sunday visiting. There was live music which created the perfect ambiance and the bar was phenomenal!

Yelp
Another great time at M'Tucci's. This time I had the beef carpaccio which was so good, I could eat the fried capers all day. Will come back just for this dish over and over.

Yelp
Overall my experience wasn't great. The service wasn't great the waitress was good but everyone else was a little rude. We had ordered Italian cream sodas one had flavor the other was just club soda and cream. I got the steak asked for it medium rare and got rare. I had asked to move tables to outside they said there wasn't any available when leaving they had added tables for other parties. Making table available. I got an espresso martini and it was very very bitter. I honestly wouldn't recommend this restaurant unless you want to pay 100+ for a parking spot.

Yelp
Made dinner reservations on a Sunday. The place was very busy and loud. I thought this was a fine dining place but I'd reclassify it as a good Italian eatery with an urban vibe. It is in a restored gas station/garage. Lots of younger people 20s, 30s sipping cocktails. The bar was full. Very loud ambiance. Even with reservations, they sat us three big guys at a tiny bar table top. We asked for another table but the waiter scurried away too quickly to hear us. The food was an absolute 10! No doubt about it. We stuck to the classic Italian recipes. You can't go wrong with this. The service, however is where the lower rating comes from. It took 25 minutes to get my second glass of wine. We watched as our glasses ( finally after 20 mins) sat at the bar for 5 minutes before our server collected them and brought it to our table. We finished dinner 10 minutes before the wine came. (No 5 stars for this!) When our food was delivered, it took another 5 minutes to get Parmesan cheese and the black pepper never came! My friend ordered a side dish that arrived 15 minutes after his entree only because we inquired about it. I had meatballs added to my pasta. They were delicious. BUT, they were very tiny in size. Plan to add 4 balls, not 2 to your dish. We weren't impressed with our server but I have to say not all the late things were his fault. Some were, but most weren't. Still, I'd recommend he check back on his table more to see how things are going. We experienced lots of "service" issues despite the chef's food being so delicious. It is sad when restaurant staff tarnish a great chef's reputation. I recommend you try this place at a less busy time. Try lunch. Or try a slower week day. I'd avoid the weekends.

Yelp
I've enjoyed happy hour and lunch specials here already. Today I tried their brunch. It was slow so I was able to have a nice leisurely meal with attentive and friendly service. The espresso martini was a tasty treat and the biscuits and gravy were delicious. There's some other brunch items I would like to try so I definitely will be back.

Yelp

Yelp
We enjoy eating at Bar Roma; it's our favorite MTuccis location. The ambience is lovely, such a cool old building. My son loves the homemade spaghetti and meatballs. Everything is delicious, i especially love the potatoes. It's always a fun treat to come to M'Tuccis! We always have wonderful wait staff. They are able to accommodate our nut, peanut and sesame allergy. They always talk to the chef and let us know what is safe to eat.

Yelp
Celebrated graduation for an international student. It was a good celebration. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and meal. The calamari was a little chewier than I preferred but was good. Came with a couple sauces. The crispy shrimp and pizza carne were very good. I got the fish of the day which happened to be trout. It was a nice half of fish with bones removed and skin side down. Cooked perfectly and super tender with capers and lemon sauce lightly covering it. The fish sat on mash potatoes and spinach leaves. Was a delicious entree for $29. Got tiramisu for dessert that sat on a chocolate square cookie. Wasn't overly sweet (which I appreciated) and had some meringue bites on top. Reasonably priced meal. Rather noisy. Towed end of meal at 8:30 pm sitting indoors with garage doors down, we had to yell at each other to be heard. The piped music was so loud. It was graduation weekend for UNM, and it took a while to get entrees out for 6. Very packed and busy. Appetizers came out quickly though. We were seated right at 6:30 and ended meal at 8:30.

Yelp
My S.O. and I had just driven into Albuquerque, four hour drive, and were starving. we were staying near Nob Hill, so we drove over, parked and found M'Tucci's. Large restaurant with so many tables, bar tables, seats at the bar and an outdoor patio. We sat indoors and enjoyed the ambience. We ordered the artichoke bisque which was AMAZING!!! Such great tastes. Loved it. We also ordered the House bread with basil oil. Also quite delicious. For dinner, I ordered the Grilled bronzino. Fish was perfectly cooked, enjoyed the polenta and the hummus on the plate. My asparagus was grilled and tasty, although the ends were a little too hard. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, a fantastic meal and I will definitely return when I visit Albuquerque again.

Yelp
Service was great, got a 7:30 reservation and was sat just a few minutes after arriving. Server was great as well. Food wasn't great, was still good but great is a stretch! Very friendly on my pockets though...Was only 65$ plus tip for me and my date!
google avatar

Yelp
The place is really big. Huge bar. The bartenders all friendly and helpful. Wanted to try some of their cocktails as they looked great. Had their tartufo mushroom spaghetti and added chicken. It was yummy. Caprese salad was great mostly because of the basalmic. It was so good that we are thinking of going back again tonight.

Yelp
M'tucci's is one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque. They have several locations and their menus are all a little different. I love the calamari and brie appetizers which they have at every location. Today I had eggplant parmesean which reminds me of my grandma. I highly recommend eating here.
google avatar

Candace W.

Yelp
Came here for a business dinner and they had a prix fix menu set up for our group. The mista salad was delicious and I ate every last leaf because it was that good. The linguine dish which was essentially a carbonara was really tasty. The pork belly melted in my mouth and the sauce was the perfect balance. For dessert I had the chocolate cake slice which was a little on the rich end for me. Cocktails were good and everyone had a great time here.

Yelp
From start to finish, I had a top-notch experience at M'tucci's Bar Roma... First things first: I called to make a reservation for a party of 12. The host was so gracious to ask if we wanted one large tables or two tables of six. Not only were there two tables of six, they were in an area that was semi-secluded away from the main path of server and patron traffic. Then... we had such a great wait person, Chris. He couldn't have been more patient and accommodating with two large tables. Ordering was a snap, and even more so, settling up the bill was not a nuisance at all. He took care of it with such expertise, explaining the line items, etc. Before I forget, let me tell you that everyone was so pleased with the food they ordered. On top of it, the setting of the restaurant in a former car dealership was a brilliant repurposing of the space. The ambiance was casual, yet professional. Service was attentive but not over-bearing. That's the sign of great training and a great collaborative team.

Yelp
We stopped in just for drinks. They had a few mocktails on the menu for me to choose from as well as delicious cocktails for my lady. We had already had lunch and were headed to the airport next, otherwise we would have loved to try the food!

Yelp
This is my second time visiting M'tucci's Bar Roma. My sister and I came on a whim, on Friday night if I remember correctly. They place was not packed, but were told that we could find seating in the bar area, as the bar top is open seating. All the bar seating was full, so we found a small two seat bistro style tall table along the wall next to the bar. Upon seating ourselves, we were promptly greeted by a manager, we couldn't sit there. He quickly walked us to another table in the bar area and went and grabbed us a couple of menus. That was very nice of him. We thought there was no seating available other than the bar top....according to the hostess! We knew we wanted to have drinks, but were really unsure about eats. Our server was so the best, honestly. She checked her watch and told us there was still time to order from the happy hour menu so she quickly grabbed us one. We went with the Beef Tips and Polenta and the Beef Ribs (her recommendation, her favorite). They were both very good, but she was not wrong about the ribs. Dee. Lish. Us. We loved them! Not to mention, the bread and oil was perfectly used to slop up the sauce under the ribs. Yummy! The place got super busy and very loud. When were ready to leave, we walked by the table we originally tried to sit at, it was occupied. They put a table cloth on and sat a two-top. We'll be back to try some more appetizers and drinks!
google avatar

Trae G.

Yelp
The rib appetizer was amazing. Don't remember the name. I had spaghetti and meatballs my friend had the blah blah blah haha. I don't remember name but he loved it. Mine was just ok. Great feel in the restaurant with a local band playing. Service was good but slow ran out of our drinks for a while.
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Exceptional service from Jackson, such a wonderful young man offering wonderful suggestions and made our dinner such a treat! Now the food, Wow! Their pot pie was simply amazing!! And their appetizer Fried Briev truly the best!! Definitely will be back

Yelp
What an exceptional experience! This was our first time at M'Tucci's and it definitely did not disappoint. My husband said it was "divine", while I agree. After living in Albuquerque for almost five months now, this is the best restaurant we've been to. Our server Seth was attentive, friendly, and explained the restaurant since it was our first visit. He said the executive chef at this location is Damien Lucero, who specializes in pork in the restaurant's scratch kitchen. He said it's it's a scratch kitchen, everything is easily customizable. He also recommended the "PDR" for seating for the rest of the summer, the location's addition, which is the coolest part of the restaurant. A good recommendation for the hot Albuquerque summers! We split the bruschetta pomodoro, which had marinated tomatoes, local basil, shaved aged parmesan, and a sweet balsamic reduction on a grilled baguette. On a hot summer's day, the cool tomatoes and basil were refreshing, and we both particularly enjoyed the balsamic. I had the Linguini Alla Gricia, which has braised pork belly, fresh herbs, linguine, pecorino cream sauce, a soft egg yolk, "young parmesan", and fresh cracked pepper. Our server described it as savory, and it was, as well as absolutely delicious. The pork was crispy as well as succulent. My hubby had the Porchetta Alla Romana, another dish with pork. He couldn't stop raving about it! We both decided this is easily our favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. It had exceptional food, amazing service, and a nice atmosphere. We're already looking forward to going back. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
google avatar

Martha V.

Yelp
Located in Nob Hill, love that the space is renovated auto service center. We had the carpaccio and it was very good! Fried capers were great. Our entrees were well prepared. Salmon and trout were cooked perfectly.
google avatar

Yelp
Located in Nob Hill, New Mexico. This is actually the first thing we ever ate in Albuquerque. The spot was buzzing. Chill vibe, with just enough chatter that the place didn't feel dead. The whole block alone was lively on a weekday. We actually pulled over to another spot first, sat down and didn't feel the food on the menu, so we just decided to explore and we came across this Italian spot. It seem to be renovated after a previous old gas station/service station. Either that, or the exterior was tryna chase a Route 66 vibe. We got the * Seared Duck Breast * Oceano Risotto * Italian Sausage & Kale Zuppa

Raf S.

Yelp
How can they serve this food with a straight face?? Ravioli with a sauce turned out to be a soup with ravioli in it, but what do you expect from a place that has cream sauce with their cacio e pepe? Server was proficient.
google avatar

Dawn Ann B.

Yelp
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our waiter did a good job and treated us well. Parking took a search but it was worth it. Popular place but you could still have a conversation heard.

Yelp
Second visit. Charcuterie board was very good! Dog friendly patio dining on a beautiful evening cannot be beat. Servers Chris and AJ did a good job. The flavor profile of my pasta arrabbiata was bland and not at all spicy and my gluten free pasta was a bit underdone. However, my guests enjoyed theirs. I will be back because every place has an off night.

The S.

Yelp
Ate here yesterday evening. Ordered drinks, wife loved 1/2 price cocktail. Got nice fried calamari and the Famiglia Board which was sparse and didn't come with the olive oil it was supposed to. When asked waitress said the cooks had poured it on the bread.?? Chicken Alla Milanese Con Burrata had absolutely no flavor, Pasta Gricia was mushy and again no flavor, carne pizza had a hair baked into the crust (was taken off bill). Wife's soup bisque with apple and artichokes had a strange flavor. Cesar salad had exactly one chick pea in it. Was very surprised at the quality having read so many great reviews. We always take home left overs but left our half eaten meals. Service was interesting being the restaurant was not busy. Over all not impressed and sorry as we were celebrating and it left a meh feeling on the evening.
google avatar

Annie M.

Yelp
Service was great. Our server brought out a sparkler on our cheesecake because we mentioned we were celebrating. So nice! Great ambiance, they did a great job making this venue feel trendy! Food was great, try the fried Brie appetizer! Steak was amazing as was the linguini!

Yelp
I have been to several of the other M Tucci locations and been very happy with the food and service. However; my experience tonight at Bar Roma was definitely subpar. We ordered a charcuterie board for the table that I have to say was not only good but excellent. The variety and freshness of the selections on the board were outstanding. However, our entrées were just a disaster. I ordered the chicken Milanese. The chicken was OK nothing to write home about but OK. The pasta however was so overcooked that you couldn't twirl the pasta on the fork. It would break in to little pieces. The pasta had two sauces on it, a cream sauce and a red sauce. The red sauce was pretty good, but the cream sauce was very boring and uninteresting. My dinner companion ordered the pasta and meatballs, and that pasta was also severely overcooked and very under sauced. She also ordered a salad, which was so wilted that the lettuce was starting to turn black and it had the smell of lettuce going bad. She complained to our server who sent the manager over who comped both her entrée and salad. I didn't ask for mine to be comped as I had eaten a large portion of it and didn't feel like I could ask for them to take something off the check that I have clearly eaten even though I really didn't enjoy it much. I have to say I have had better meals at very cheap Italian restaurants and expect better quality from this restaurant particularly at this price point. I have to say our server was good and the manager tried to make it right but at the end of the day, the food was just really bad. This is the second time I've been to this location and the first time I had to send risotto back because it was so undercooked that the rice was crunchy. Judging by how empty the restaurant was at 7 o'clock in the evening, I have to say I wonder if they have a problem that others have noticed as well. I guess I will just have to go to their other locations because this one clearly is not to my liking. It seems to me that knowing how to cook pasta is the bare minimum you should expect at an Italian restaurant. Bar Roma failed at this most basic Italian food. All I can say is that I would rather have paid my full check and got a meal that I enjoyed than have them comp something and have subpar food.

Yelp
I had a pasta-tively delicious experience at M'tucci's Bar Roma! I was in town for work, and a friend brought me here for dinner. Beautiful space and great ambiance. We were greeted upon entering and promptly seated at a booth. Our server was pleasant, quick, and attentive. My friend and I both decided on pastas. I went with the Blanco Aglio E Olio, $19 and my friend went with the Oceano Risotto, $23. Both portions were just right for us; not too much and not too little. The Blanco Aglio E Olio came with white clams, oysters, pink shrimp, garlic, red pepper flakes, EVOO, white wine, housemade spaghettini, lemon, and cracked pepper. Talk about yum! I didn't get a chance to try my friend's dish, but she said it was also delicious. We left full and very satisfied!

Yelp
We came here for Valentine's Day. We got right in with our reservation. The food was amazing as always. My steak was also fantastic and was cooked just how I ordered it. We were impressed with how fast our service was because it was very busy for Valentine's Day. We sat in a very nice room in the back of the restaurant. They had flowers and candles on every single table, which was a very nice touch for Valentine's Day.

Yelp
I was visiting ABQ and stopped here for dinner with a couple of local friends. The restaurant and bar is in a convenient location on Central in the Nob Hill area, and the venue is really nice. It was an hour wait for a table so we elected to sit at the bar. There is a nice selection of adult beverages here whether you want beer, wine or a craft cocktail. I opted for a Bosque Jetty Jack while my friends selected a Grapefruit Mule, made with Deep Eddy Ruby vodka, ginger beer and fresh lime juice. Now that I'm an Austinite, I have come to appreciate the Deep Eddy vodkas and they work well in many different cocktails. Really good. We also ordered some apps, including the charcuterie board, fried oysters, and the bruschetta. Charcuterie wasn't particularly exciting but the oysters were done perfectly with a nice crunch to the batter without overcooking the oyster meat inside. Bruschetta was tasty as well. For dinner, I had a half order of the romana salad (huge, the half could probably be split again) along with the linguine alla Garcia, a steaming bowl of pasta with braised pork belly as the featured ingredient. How can you go wrong with pork belly? You can't. This pasta was delicious. Service was decent and prices were very reasonable considering the primo location. Definitely will come back here on future visits to the Land of Enchantment. Recommended.

Yelp
Amazing elevated Italian food! Everything was delicious and had extra touches making it that much better. Best Italian food I've had in a long time. The chef clearly cares about every dish. Even the Cesar salad had a lemony bean salad in it that adds an extra delicious element. And it had fried capers which are incredible. The risotto had olives and peppers in it adding so much flavor. It also had pickled green beans. Very delicious unique flavors. My husband's chicken alla Milanese con burrata was great as well. The dark chocolate cake was rich and exceptional. It was busy on a Friday night but our food was ready quickly.

Yelp
M'tucci's is always a hit for most people with a good selection of food and a wide variety of drinks, especially specialty cocktails and shrubs. The service was slow for drinks and it seemed that one bartender was responsible for the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. It was taking 20 minutes plus for drinks which definitely decreased our desire to stay longer for a birthday gathering. I haven't been here since they took over but I do like the changes I saw. It is a great location. Weekends definitely need more servers for the bar.

Yelp
We love all of the locations that M'Tucci's have. We normally go to the Moderno location but always love a bit of fresh air and change. Service was great and the food was even better. Love the look of this restaurant. Bar in middle, different areas to sit and the ambiance is what we were looking for.

Yelp
So busy! I was impressed how busy they were on a Saturday night. Staff member told my wife they had been running at that capacity since they opened. Formerly Kelly's, M'Tucci's did an amazing job renovating this location. The service is excellent, I love their shrubs. I did want it with tequila but didn't realize they'd charge me $13 for it - would have gone with a more expensive cocktail if I knew that but whatever. Their own M'Tucci's bubbly is good but $10 more than Gruet - not 33% better than gruet in my opinion. The gruet bottle was about $20 and the M'Tucci's was about $30. Fried calamari always pretty good. Tried their chicken milanese - split with wife - enough for 2, for $18. One of the more reasonable entree's on the menu price wise. It was delicious - pasta is perfectly cooked, breaded chicken not overly breaded or dry. We ate it up haha. I am not an Italian food person, but M'Tucci's continues to impress me. This location does not have weeknight specials like the other location, likely because they're so busy they don't need to. I'd definitely suggest having a reservation if coming to this location. Automatic gratuity for our larger party, which I have mixed feelings about but the service was good.

Yelp
Amazing place. The place has lots of seating. The food is amazing. A perfect place for a gathering on a weekend or quick grab too. The food was served quickly for the crowd size that there was. A perfect place for a date night too if I may say. Try it out.

Yelp
We've been fans of M'tucci's restaurants for years, so we were excited to try Bar Roma, their new Nob Hill location, for my husband's birthday. We started with the house bread basket with basil oil, tasty as always. I thought the sourdough was particularly good, but the focaccia was also lovely. With our bread, we enjoyed a strawberry-basil shrub mimosa and a No Thyme to Yuzu cocktail, which was really delicious. My husband had the duck gnocchi, which was fantastic - tender duck confit, braised greens, tender gnocchi. After quite a bit of deliberation, I had oceano risotto - shrimp, clams, leeks, perfectly cooked risotto, topped with some fabulous grilled octopus. Dessert was a complimentary tiramisu for my husband's birthday. So pretty, light, and wonderful, the perfect ending to our meal. Service was impeccable, as usual. I'm looking forward to visiting again.
