The place, food and price was just perfect. Very nice and clean place, very organized. The staff is always checking out on you. The food has a great taste, I got to try the asada plate with an enchilada on the side. Yummy 😋

The food here is fantastic! We got beef flautas to start and my meal was the huevos rancheros with a side of shredded beef. When I tell you this food was amazing, I would actually fight someone to eat this food again without hesitation.

We got the huevos rancheros with beef, and I got a cheese omletee. Saturday morning, no wait - abousltely amazing service and food and crazy portion sizes. I will for sure be back! Also my girl is Mexican and she approves so 👌

I loved the shrimp cocktail but the nachos were kinda strange. Its not really the tasty nachos im used to at other Mexican restaurants.

Went here because it's a good friend's favorite Mexican restaurant and I was just going to stop by and get her a gift certificate. I also ordered a vegetable fajita burrito to go. But when I came to pick it up I was charmed by the atmosphere of this place, like exactly what big chain places like el torito wish they could be like. And I was suddenly in realization about how hungry I was. And the maitre d, Pat, was super cool about me eating my to go there and directed me to a table, where I ordered chips and guac from the lovely Anabel, who was a pro server. I was very impressed by the high quality of the food. Salsa was superb, too. It was on the expensive side but usually I don't eat Mexican food in such pleasant and professional surroundings. Very good. Been coming here for over ten years. Consistently good. The strawberry Margherita was light on the strawberry, but that seems to be common at restaurants. Salsa is heavy on the cumin, which I prefer. A mix of chunky and blended. Probably considered mild, but hotter than a lot of Mexican restaurants. Homemade corn chips. The Colorado Beef is very tasty. My usual go to. Quality meat, but was not as tender today as usual. The flavor is excellent. Very good refried beans and rice with the right amount of cheese on the beans.

I was completely unimpressed. The menu didn't list all the items available, which I found to be odd. We're talking the basics, like enchiladas. That's what I wanted, and yet, there was no listing or description of them. Further, there was no list of sides. My daughter wanted simply rice and beans, but, again, no list of any sides, descriptions, or prices. The customer should never have to guess. And even when I asked, the description I got was inadequate. Food was mediocre at best.

Was down in So. Cal over the weekend and stopped in to try Mucho Mas based on a recommendation from a friend. When we entered we were immediately greeted. It was about 1-1:30 pm on a Saturday. There were a few tables occupied but not too busy. The dining room was nice and clean, very organized and we were able to pick where we sat. I used the restroom and it was clean, well maintained, and stocked with all the supplies. I judge a restaurant's cleanliness based on the restroom and it was spotless. I used to work in the restaurant business and know how to judge cleanliness. Our server was very attentive, took our drink order and brought us out some freshly fried chips. She gave us plenty of time to order and one of the owners Chris came by to check in on us and made some food recommendations. He was very warm and we never felt pressured into selecting anything. We selected the mulitas, carnitas tacos, and a new item I think is called a chuato (chicken sandwich) based on Chris' recommendation. We started off with the carnitas and glad we did. The carnitas was so tender, moist, and had zero fat. It wasn't crispy or greasy and having that on some fresh tortillas with guacamole and pico de gallo was all it needed. I highly recommend the carnitas. Next were the mulitas with carne asada and they were cooked perfectly. Great flavor, crispy tortillas and the melted cheese were spot on. We were pretty full but needed to try the chicken sandwich. The ciabatta bread was warm and soft. It was not crunchy at all, which pleasantly surprised us. And then we got into the chicken. This has to be the most tender and moist grilled chicken I have ever had. I was shocked at how perfectly cooked and tender it was. Amazing!! There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the area, but in my opinion, I'd choose Mucho Mas over the others. I highly recommend Mucho Mas for deliscious food and ice cold beers especially on a warm and beautiful afternoon.

Mucho Mas is a stand-out Mexican food restaurant in an area where it would be easy to just blend in with the hundreds of other, simular style restaurants close by. I really enjoy this place. The food is absolutely delicious! Last night, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Tostada Salad. The flavor profile was on point, the ingredients were fresh, and OMG the grilled chicken. My mouth is watering, just thinking about it now. The service is outstanding! My waitress last night was exceptional (I wish I could remember her name so i could give her a shout out!). Thank you for making my visit to Mucho Mas that much better! I love this building. It has a classic feel. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect. The location is clean and well kept. Mucho Mas is a Mucho blast, this longstanding family owned restaurant is located on the outskirts of North Hollywood (like you literally cross the street and you're in Burbank)! Easy parking in their lot or own the street (all free ninety nine w/o restrictions, meters or vallet) Upon entering you may notice their large patio to the left of the door. You'll be greeted and seated promptly, give their menu + specials and left to your devices as they say, until it's time to order. Whether you're a large rambunctious party of 12 or a pair of two, you'll get the mucho experience. Our server was very attentive most of our meal. She was very kind and helpful. I went with the veggie fajitas burrito (dry rather than wet, sin queso)... My M.M. regular date went with sizzling shrimp fajitas, which came with sides of beans and rice, like my burrito... Plus we had complimentary chips & salsa and an order of chips and guac... Needless to say... It was a full table! The food was nice, portions big! Very much appreciated all the veggie options (mainly fajita based entrees or salads - vegetarian by default, vegan with simple no dairy mods). They have some fun drink options including margaritas, cerveza y una barra completa (a full bar). The layout is traces of abode meets modern Mexican cantina restaurant, with nods to latin cultura in their art, pictures (such a the late Chespirito) y many attentions to detail. M. Mas was very busy on a Friday Night, We saw some parties waiting for tables on our way out... Grateful we stopped in before 8PM when things super picked up! Open 11AM to 9PM, six days a week (cerrado el Martes).

I come to this place once a week. I love the margaritas. I love the environment. The waitresses are super nice. Food is delicious. Will definitely come back weekly

Absolutely amazing find! I've lived in the area for 3 years but somehow never heard of this place but I definitely should have. I'm in love with the interior decor and theme. Food was awesome and margaritas (on the rocks) were perfect! Pat served me and was great fun, made my family feel right at home- as if we were regulars or even friends. We got sat by the windows which that street makes it entertaining if you need something to talk about with who you're with, like a certain car that passed by. We stayed an extra hour just chatting which only happens if we feel super comfortable in a restaurant. So glad we found this place and had excellent service

I can't say enough about this place! I've never been disappointed going here! The food is the best! Prices are more than fair! The pineapple margaritas are to die for... And Pat is the nicest guy! He always makes you feel like your the most important person in the room! And the Bacon wrapped shrimp is so far my favorite meal! Can't wait to come back and try another new dish!

Was I on a quest to see how many spots in the valley I can drink margs at within a three day period? No. Did I inadvertently do just that? Yes, yes I did. We met up for a friends lunch at Mucho Mas on Friday afternoon. I'd never been here before but can definitely say I'd return based on my first experience. We all know by know I love a Mexican restaurant, margs and flautas. That's no secret. Our party of 9 was seated at a perfect table beside the bar. The pitchers of margaritas flowed without a thought. Everyone ordered combo plates but I'd just had Mexican the night before and it was 1230p so I ordered the flautas appetizer plate (one beef, one chicken). Service was great!! I'd return to try a regular margarita (non pitcher pour, although these went down fast and plenty), and maybe a sizzling fajita entree. Everything looked yummy!

First time back since reopening. It's exactly as I remembered: very Americanized Mexican food. This place isn't going to win any great culinary awards, but it is satisfying, and the portions are very large. I had the taco and cheese enchilada combo. The rice could have had more flavor. But the food filled me up. The place, since the fire, looks really clean and brand new. The bathrooms were clean. The service was fine as it wasn't busy.

Sadly this place is just not what it used to be. A real shame we had been coming here many many years. The food quality has most definitely slipped, considerably so. Salsa came out of a jar. Velveeta cheese blend and stale blackish chilis in the chili rellanos. The chili rellanos were not properly fried, the batter was still loose and egg colored ", not golden brown. Soupy whole beans not smashed nor fried represented as refried. Bland rice. Tortillas soup had an abundance of cayenne pepper no depth of flavor like it used to. The chicken fajitas were still piping hot and fresh veggies like they had been before, but, were completely unseasoned and bland.

I had a free afternoon and headed to the SFV for lunch with the NoHo OG crew. Been a long time coming. I yelped us a new spot. As soon as we slid into this newly remodeled Mexican spot we knew we made a good choice. The service was fast & friendly. The location was very clean and had simple but great decor. The food came out quickly and all three of us enjoyed it very much. We sat inside but they have a fantastic enclosed outdoor covered patio. I'm sure very nice in a warm summer evening. I thanked the hostess and the owner for an excellent outing. If you are near by, it's a local standout! Please come in to enjoy traditional Mexican food and the bar looked cool but we didn't try it.

This was my first time at Mucho Mas and I ordered ahead since I had to dash back into work. The people there were so nice! The ambience was great, and the food was amazing! The gentleman who brought me my takeout threw in some chips and salsa, which was extra nice and I really appreciated it. Another kind gentleman brought me a glass of ice water while I waited. Happily, it didn't take very long. I'm looking forward to going back there and bringing my friends because this place is excellent!

First of all, good to have you back, Mucho Mas! We all feared you'd never reopen. I've been eating at Mucho Mas for over a decade. It's right down the street from Screenland Rehearsal Studios and I used to be there a lot either rehearsing or filming a web series I directed and we'd always go there afterwards. I'm a creature of habit (some would leave out the "of habit" and just call me a creature) and I usually get a beef taco and cheese enchilada and both are always excellent. Is it the BEST I've had - no - but that's all subjective. Is it really good. You betcha. They also have a very good salad, their tostadas are excellent and I think that's all I've ever eaten there because - I'm a creature of habit. Sevice has always been tops, I've never had to wait for a table. It's good when you can finally return to an old friend, especially when it's so convenient to so many places where I work. Highly recommended by the likes of me.

Delicious food. I've never gotten a bad meal here. I've been going here for years and I always find something new. Albóndigas soup is the best. Drinks are great and everyone here is so nice. If you want something off the menu they're kind enough to make it for you without attitude or judgement. A great family restaurant and solo restaurant too! Quality Mexican food.

We went here on a Saturday night, place was not full like it used to be? Plenty of parking and seated right of way. Margarita was bland, mostly ice? Enchiladas were no flavor and soup barely edible! They need to send chefs to La fogata in van nuys to learn how to cook! Terrible! No mucho mass

All I can say is Bland. My asada burrito was literally bland meat inside a tortilla. Very disappointed

The BEST example of family atmosphere. The carnitas is out of this world good and my favorite Mexican restaurant. They are so polite and hospitable and always make you feel at home. Highly recommend and can guarantee you'll keep coming back to experience their hospitality.

I've heard a lot about Mucho Mas. I wasn't able to experience their food before their fire incident that shuttered the restaurant for what felt like a few years. But it's reopened and has been renovated to usher in a new era of being a favored destination in Burbank's foodscape. They've been open for about a month now so it seemed like the right destination for lunch after a movie. I got the Burrito Colorado and the spouse ordered the carnitas plate. We started with some buffalo wings. I enjoyed my burrito entree. I got what was advertised. The stew beef filling was tender and just what I needed for an early dinner. It was such a pleasure to knife and fork the burrito's contents with my rice, beans and sauce. I polished that thing off something proper. The carnitas plate was a bit of a letdown. It was just served as a hunk of shredded pork. The rice, beans and guacamole did little to provide retreat from the dry meat. Though my wife did note that it tasted good. There just needed to be a stronger sauce component to the meal. The hot sauce we asked for did manage to redeem the entree some. We largely enjoyed the food. We spoke like we were going to return eventually. I wasn't smitten by my dish, but it was well made for a satisfying dining experience. It is apparent the reopening is a fairly soft one so the place can start making money again. It feels like it's running on bare bones currently. The faithful patronage of the old restaurant is probably giving the 2.0 version some decent business with which to reestablish itself. Again, not sure how the place functioned before the 2019 fire, but it currently would benefit from a little more ambiance, and a salsa bar. The place is just open and serving food right now. Those are critical elements for any restaurant but hopefully management is working to bring about more personality to the Mucho Mas of 2022.

I never came here before the BIG fire. I discovered it from when it was on the news for the reopening. I think it's great. It deserves to be way more crowded than it is. Great salsa and chips. Great drinks. Great food. Beautiful clean decor.

Such a welcoming restaurant with great service! We came shortly before closing and weren't rushed at all, had an amazing time. Our server was Ileana and she took great care of us! The food was delicious about $20 a plate but definitely had enough to take home for lunch the next day, so much food! No complaints here, I highly suggest giving this place a try.

Great service, excellent food. We suddenly became regulars....every week!! Loving the flavors of all dishes. Some uniques when comparing other long standing restaurants. Feels like home and so enjoyable.

Mucho Mas is not a beautiful restaurant any more. The cool old building has been replaced with a whitewashed box. No curb appeal. Another owner with no eye for visual appeal makes another neighborhood more ugly that it once was. No thanks. Don Cuco's is still beautiful. Spending my time and money in beautiful places only.

FUN place! Great Happy Hour and all the wait staff are very hospitable. Food and the ambiance is 7/10 but somehow all put together, they've created the vibe of a neighborhood hangout. We'll see you on Friday at Happy Hours! :-)

Good friendly service. Sandra was Very attentive. Food was really. They give you a lot of food so we definitely had left overs. First date with my baby 14 years ago. Did not disappoint tonight. We'll be coming back for many more years. I like the vibe and feel. The chips and salsa are pretty good. Over all really good. Authentic

Probably the worse albondigas I ever had in my life. The meatballs taste frozen and old

One of my all time favorite restaurants. This place has been closed the last couple years after catching on fire and having to go through extensive renovations, but they finally reopened.. The bar always has a nice atmosphere . The food is decent. The chips and salsa are good. The staff are all friendly.The only cons are no beer on tap and they stopped with the complimentary albondigas/ tortilla soup with combination plates. The parking lot is tight but there is plenty of street parking. Currently no Happy Hour.

Ordered thru Delivery! This once upon a time icon has never recovered. Ordered a shredded beef taco and enchilada combo. The minuscule amount of shredded beef was rancid and lackluster. Cheese what cheese? Seriously the worst so called Mexican food ever!! Portions and quality make Taco Bell look like a 5 star! Yea it was that bad....even the beans were a weird gray and a spoonful. The chips were burnt and a little thimble of salsa!! Just embarrassing. Thanks for the memories........MINUS 5 STARS:(

Oh, if they only had a minus stars.... I was anxious to try Mucho Mas rather than the MexCocina just down the street that we love so much. First, the menu online and the menu inside the restaurant: Night and day. If the online menu is out of date, fix it. That's what I used to draw me in. Very misleading. I had the medium combination; a chicken tack and chicken enchilada, rice, beans. Online advertised price: $9.25. Menu price, $19.00. Again, if online is wrong, fix it. The food was ok at best. I think it's more geared to the American way of thinking how Mexican food should taste. It is not authentic. Go down the street to MexCocina That's authentic and excellent. The parking is difficult because when cars park next to the restaurant, it's difficult for the cars to get by to park in the back. I don't remember our server's name but she was very pleasant, despite her bringing us the wrong change. Our bill was $45 and we gave her 3 20's, expecting $14 back so we could leave an appropriate tip. She brought back $4. We questioned her saying that we left 3 20s. She said we left her 2 20s and a 10. We are not stupid. We know exactly what we gave her but she insisted it was only $50. Rather than argue and cause a potential scene, we left. Without leaving a tip. When they do their balancing tonight and find the register $10 over, she can have that or management can keep it. Speaking of managers: If one is reading this and chooses to reply saying we only left $50, I am not here to start an argument. We know what we left and the change we received. You won't have the chance to make this right because we won't be back.

Copied from a text from my Mom just now: "OMG! Patricio asked where the rest of the family was. . . Told him we'd all be back at the end of the month. I had my usual carnitas. . . Except they weren't usual at all. Patricio said they were lucky to get their old chef back, only "he got lots better". I can attest to that. My carnitas were the best I've ever had anywhere, including previous Much Mas. Carnitas, on all menus say "fried", but they never are. These were. Crispy edges, yum yum yum. Dad had Chile Verde and cleaned his entire plate, including the rice! Sooooo Flippen good"

This small family-owned business located on the NoHo Burbank border stands as local neighborhood restuarant. The interior is nice and clean. They also have a nice outdoor patio area. They give you fresh chips n salsa as soon as you sit down and everyone that works there is super friendly. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

Food was very good, portions large and great service. Will be back! Perfect place to go if around the Burbank airport for a meal.

I had my daughter's 27th birthday party at Mucho Mas last night. The owner, Chris, could not have been any more accommodating with the menu plan and his texts answering my questions, and then before the party letting us decorate, and then checking on us during the party. Our servers were fantastic and the food was delicious. We were not rushed and there was such a nice space to play games and open presents on the warm and beautiful private patio. The portions were large and delicious and the margaritas were exceptional. People are still raving about how great everything was and we all cannot wait to return. I have a party every year so I have high standards on how I want to be treated and Mucho Mas did not disappoint! It was mucho mas wonderful!

So today is December 8th iv always passed by mucho mas when it was closed then they opened so today I decided to go try it out I got the albondigas soup and it was the worse it had frozen pre made meat balls and they put cheese in the soup never had that and my wife got the mulitas and again not good they put yellow cheese in them never had that different taste and the service was no good brought us our drinks and never came back to ask how we where so yeah no good service here. Don't recommend.

Delicious, affordable, friendly staff and nice outdoor patio. Had the pork chili verde and it was fantastic. Corn tortillas were not handmade but still good meal.

I've been waiting for Mucho Mas to reopen after their fire. Sadly it wasn't as good as it was before. The renovation is ok but they took about the booths. It looks modern. The prices are sky high although they can't be blamed for inflation. The wait staff is good, the food portion was generous but just ok. We ordered nachos and it was drowning in enchilada sauce and not flavorful. There were bits of meat in it but just a few. There were not many people there. The parking lot still stinks and gives me anxiety every time I go. The lane is so freakishly narrow. I hope they improve! I am rooting for them!

Haven't been here in years since the fire, but the brothers did a wonderful job remodeling while keeping the original and old school feel. The staff really made made it feel very warm like family as soon as you enter. Salsa is delicious. I was shocked by how reasonable the prices were for the amount of food--value! I was there early before picking up my wife from Burbank airport, so I had the huevos dish which was fresh and tasty with a very generous portion. The owners were there this morning and we got to catch up on family and life. One of them might look grumpy but they're really sweet guys :-). Hard working family business that we love to see succeed. Glad to see they're back up and running! Definitely a good spot to hit on the way to airport or when you're in the area! Highly recommended!!

Mucho Mas calls itself a family restaurant and today, they more than proved it. MM had been a favorite of my family's for many years before it closed for a few years. My kids and I were so excited to go again today now that it re opened! Unfortunately, I started feeling unwell shortly after ordering our food, and asked for our order to be made to go. Not only did they do so, but they gave us to go drinks and more chips and salsa (since my kids were enjoying those so much)! It really felt like being taken care of! And the food was DELICIOUS!!

Mediocre food. Great service. I had a grilled shrimp tostada. The shrimp weren't really grilled - they seemed to have been steamed or boiled and then dropped on the grill for just a few seconds. They had no grilled flavor or carmelisation. My hubby had a seafood cocktail and a carne asada taco. He found them both to be bland. Our server was very attentive and sweet. Sorry I didn't get her name!

We Took my mom here for her birthday and was disappointed. Ordered a bunch of things and everything was lacking flavor, salt, seasoning! Also I've never been to a Mexican restaurant where they don't have fish on their menu. They had a seafood section but it was all shrimp. Tried the shrimp fajitas and there was zero seasoning.. Like they just cooked everything together and hoped it would taste good but nope! Sorry this place is not for me. Won't be going back.

Was excited to try since the remodel. It's been a while since we've had it. My husband ordered their "famous" chili verde burrito. There was no verde. The pork was dry with zero verde flavor. He has to pour salsa on it to eat it. The service was not good. After the food arrived no one came to say "is everything ok?" When we asked for soda refills it felt like a problem. Mucho is no mas.

Excellent! I travel from Northern California and make a point to stop at Mucho Mas whenever I am in the area. Nice family run small business.
