Quick-serve American cafe with global flavors, focused on largely organic veggies (plus meat too).
"Mulberry & Vine does the fast casual “market sides” thing better than almost anyone else right now. We’re fans of the charred avocado with pumpkin seed yogurt puree and the brussels sprouts with carrots, and the proteins are solid as well. Tribeca’s the only location right now, but a new outpost in Nomad is coming soon." - chris stang
"Mulberry and Vine is based around a bunch of different vegetables and proteins, and the general move is to go for one of their “pick three” platters. Unlike the soggy and kind of sad greens you’ll find at most of these places, the food here is surprisingly good - expect things like miso peanut cauliflower or charred avocado with pumpkin seed yogurt puree. And despite the Tribeca mom and Nomad tech worker demographic at the two respective locations, it’s actually not that absurdly priced - depending on what you get, a pick-three bowl ranges from $9 to $11.50." - hillary reinsberg
"In an ideal world, you’d pack your lunch every morning, and it would consist of things like kale, brown rice, and other stuff that you assume is very good for you. In other words, you’d pack a lunch very similar to what you can get at Mulberry & Vine. This counter-service chain serves food like roasted salmon, chicken, tofu, and a bunch of different vegetable sides, and it’s perfect for when you need to feel like a responsible human who eats things with fiber and vitamins." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"No one ever sat down and explained it, but somehow we’re all programmed to know how fast-casual healthy restaurants work: pick your protein, pick a vegetable, watch someone use an ice cream scooper for non-ice cream things, spend $15, continue with your life (hopefully feeling better about it than before). Mulberry & Vine in Nomad stays open until 9pm every night of the week, and it’s a perfectly good option when speed and nutrition are your main priorities." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"Fast casual chain Mulberry and Vine, which temporarily closed all five of its locations in November last year, is reopening its Nomad, Dumbo, and Midtown East locations starting April 14, according to a restaurant spokesperson." - Tanay Warerkar
