The claypot chicken was one of the best I’ve tasted, its chicken is so soft that when the serving dish touches it, it peel open. The broth was perfect and it’s drinkable without feeling thirsty.
I also tried the crispy yam bag with scallops. At first I was skeptical with this one but after my first bite, the flavour goes so well together, the yam was cooked perfectly together with the fresh scallops.
The fried horfun with New Zealand Beef tenderloin was bursting with flavour. The beef itself is cooked to medium well, and it tasted almost like the main dish.
Overall I am very satisfied with the restaurant’s food atmosphere and it’s definitely a place to gather for friends, colleagues, and even families. Most importantly, the price is affordable compared to many other Zi char stalls out there
