"We’re big fans of Mysore, so we’re really glad that they’re open right now for carryout and delivery. What makes this place special is its dosi, which takes up a lot of the menu. You’ll find plain, ones filled with potatoes and onions or chutney with cheese, and varieties made with lentil flour instead of rice. Get an order of puffy bhatura topped with spicy chickpeas while you’re at it. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

First time there and we were there on Sunday. The restaurant was busy and staff was not enough. We got our food after more than 30 minutes and we had to keep asking about our order if it’s ready or not. I wish management was better. Food was good I it could have been better. Food price was acceptable. Overall nice experience but they can do way better with their service.

I like the dosas and the other food is okay. I have rarely had a bad experience with the food as that is not my concern. My biggest reason for rating this as an average restaurant is the fact that the service is terrible. With 3-4 servers, it can still take long periods of time for them to take your order or bring some water or provide you with the bill. The food isn’t the reason not to go here... but just be prepared that it can take a while even on weeknights.

Excellent food options for vegetarian food lovers. We had the spring dosai, a dosa that has cabbage and carrots in it instead of potatoes. The appetizer platter was great. It had samosa, pakoda, cutlet and five different chutneys. Clean place

Had the woodlands special. Rasam was really good, as were the idlis and vadas. Dosa was ok but have had better. The chutney is not the greatest. Was disappointed with the bisibele bath. The coffee was not the South Indian coffee you'd expect. But overall a good place with good South Indian food for Chicago.

An Indian friend brought us there. The Vada (donuts like thing) is so so. The Dosai is great, it’s crispy. Both the Vada and the Dosai are served with same source, a coconut favor one and a curry favor one. The last dish is pretty good( the one with cabbage and green pepper)! The restaurant is vegetarian friendly. There was only one waiter so the service is a bit slow. there was only one table of people when we arrived, but at around 6:15 more people came and the service becomes slowerer.

As a south Indian living in Chicago, I wanted to try this restaurant. I have been here three times now and I can say that the food quality is average. Service is subpar. Normally, one water is trying to do too many things and it can rub off on customers in a negative way. They do have large ambience but the quality is not there. The coconut chutney seems like it was served straight from the refrigerator and tastes bland.

Delicious food and friendly people. We had a nice time. Apparently we were supposed to have the dasai...what they're known for...but i had no clue. Next time!

South Indian eatery. The taste is good, a little less spicy for Indian food. But lot of options, similar to what you find in southern India. Sambhar could taste better.
