4 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"If you embrace soups year‑round, this Arcadia spot serves hefty, well‑executed Korean soups and stews with a trio of simple but excellent banchan; the soondaeguk’s offals and spice are irresistible, galbitang comforts, and large proteins like jokbal and bossam are great for those saving soups for colder months." - Eater Staff

Myung Ga Haejangguk Review - Gardena - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"When a dish is literally named “hangover soup,” you know it’s going to be good for what ails you. And at soup specialist Myung Ga, which has locations in Gardena, La Cañada Flintridge, and Arcadia, the spicy haejangguk—a crimson-colored soup made with bean sprouts, radish, cabbage, ox blood cubes, and beef brisket—is practically a life-giving tonic on days when that brain fog won’t lift. Alternate sips of the rich beef stock with bites of white rice and kimchi and you’ll be back to your soju-sipping ways in no time. Be sure to ask for refills of their free iced barley tea, too—we’ll take it over a bottle of Pedialyte any day." - Garrett Snyder

It was a perfect time for soup and I wanted beef bone soup (Galbitang), sister was craving pork neck bone (Gamjatang) while my son decided on the Tukbaegi bulgogi. The beef was tender, it was not quite fall off the bone, maybe another 30 minutes. The broth was good. My sister and son enjoyed their soup. Each came with white rice in a metal bowl and we shared banchans (side dishes) of kimchi, kkakdugi (spicy pickled diced radish), and Odeng (fish cakes). It was a casual dining experience with efficient service. Metal chopsticks and spoons are kept in a covered wooden box on each table. Parking was hard to find.

Great Korean restaurant that serves authentic food. The bossam are their specialty and they also have lots of different soups. The side dishes are kimchi, radish, and fishcake. They could be benefit with more staff since there was just one lady running around helping everyone so it took a while to put in our order, but the food was great.

Google
As a Korean, this is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. It’s such authentic Korean soup, the flavors are rich and texture silky, plus unlimited side refills. My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month, and we look forward to it for days before we do. I almost always get the seonji haejangguk (blood) and he always gets the soondae haejangguk (blood sausage), we’ve also tried the kongguksu, pollock haejangguk, gamjatang, etc., they are all bangers!!! So good. Also the wait staff have always been so kind!

Google
My sibling and I got yukgaejang and sullangtang. I was not expecting the portion size for the yukgaejang to be so big, so I ended up taking leftovers home. My sibling said that the sullangtang didn't taste like much, but it was probably because we didn't put enough salt in it (our server told us to put some in). We didn't know how much salt to put in, but it was an experience! The prices on the menu side here is not accurate. Almost everything is about $16+ Side dishes were kimchi, fish tofu, and radish kimchi. There were signs around the area saying that the kimchi and one other side dish cannot be taken to go. They do have restrooms on site with a code to enter, which is convenient and clean.

First visit today. First review: 5 of had lunch after church today. My friend picked this place and I was eager to try. PORK CUTLET. One of the best pork cutlets I've ever had! The pork cutlet was flakey and crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tasty on the insides. Tender, not tough. It's definitely one the 3 top dishes to order. So many different sauces. One of my favs. The most popular was the JOKBAL: Pork feet and hock slices. It's a large dish. Very unique. Must try with a large group (4 to 6 people.) And lastly 2 different soups. Galbitang: Beef short rib soup with glass noodles. The noodles were nice snd chewy. And the other one was the milky one. Also good on a cold day. The service staff spoke fluent Chinese and English. Interesting that I didnt hear any Korean spoken. Im sure the staff are multilingual at this Korean restaurant. Good service.

First time here at this soupy Korean joint. The first thing I immediately noticed was how attentive the waitress was. She was a lean Korea lady with a boisterous laughter. She made sure that we had our refill of our kimchi all the time and came around every now and showed us how to expertly dive into the food without making a mess. At the end of the night, I dropped a couple of coins and she actually bent down to pick them up. Talk about stellar service! She had me at hello. The food was above average. The kimchi was fresh and supple. The sauces were great. Not sure about the plastic box rice but maybe it's just a phase. The soups were all good, especially #10 which I had not had in any other Korean soup restaurant. The selection is small with a lot of options crossed out, probably because of the pandemic, so I didn't mind that at all. It's been a while since the service of a staff at the restaurant made me want to write a review. I had actually imagined, during the meal, of returning again.

I came here for dinner on a Sunday night at 630pm and there was a short wait, but the turnover is pretty quick. The ladies here work hard to provide seating for the next party. We were just a party of 2 so we ordered a bossam and galbitang soup. We had plenty of leftovers for the bossam. Everything was delicious, the soup was flavorful and the meat fell right off the bones. The bossam was a 4/5 for us. We’ve had better but this is good for the short drive from home!

Decided to give this spot a try since I’ve been craving Korean food! It’s a small shop and you can park in the “back”. It’s a parking lot and I do believe it is also their front door. They have 2 doors. Either one works so you won’t have to walk all the way around! When you sit down, they’ll give you a menu and then you order. After ordering, you get 2 side dishes. Both are delish and can get more if you ask. Sadly we couldn’t bring any home. #13- very sweet! Lots of meat! Not enough noodles in my opinion. But I did like the sweet broth. Comes with rice!

Yelp
Best Korean restaurant for meat stews! Always super fresh and tender meat whether it's chicken or pork or beef. I highly recommend their (seasonal) samgyetang. The waitresses are sweet and efficient too!

Yelp
Ordered: - Mixed Haejangguk (2.5/5): I found the broth too watery - while spicy, there wasn't much other dimensions to the flavor. I constantly found myself feeling that some core component of the dish was missing, and ultimately with the small portion size for the price I was ultimately left disappointed. - Sullungtang (2/5): My gf loves ordering this at other spots and sadly this was a disappointment. The soup had no flavor at all so my gf had to use the juices from the radish banchan to give the soup some flavor in addition to lots of salt and pepper. Even then it was missing the broth flavor that you'd normally find and still just tasted extremely watery. For the price the portion wasn't amazing either. Overall (2/5): We've been to Myung Ga Haejangguk in the past and had a good experience but sadly we were quite disappointed by the quality of the food this time. The soups here aren't the cheapest and unfortunately the best thing served to us that night was the banchan. As for service, it was friendly and the restaurant while somewhat busy wasn't too noisy.

Yelp
Myunga is my trusted Korean food place in the Alhambra area. They have great kimchi and all their menus I've tried have been great including gamjatang, soondae guk, pork gukbab, and jokbal. Their kimchi is so good too! They usually have plenty of parking in the back lot but often have a wait so I recommend you go early or during off hours. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday. This place has a lot of yummy stews and soups! We ordered the clam stew - the broth was delicious, clean, and healthy tasting with veggies and fish and portion of soup is quite large (shared one between two people). The bonchon including kimchi and fish cakes were also delicious. We ordered a pork bossam for table and that was super good! Pork was super fatty and tender with thick pieces. It's a pretty casual place. They were nice and put our cake in the fridge for us.

Yelp
This place is known for their bossam and it did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and tasty. We also got a soup-gamjatang which was delicious as well. Parking was easy in the back, service was quick, place was clean.

Yelp
Love coming here for their soups especially on a cold winter night. The galbitang is very flavorful but the pork gukbop was a bit bland. The sides are always nice.. not as many choices as other Korean restaurants but still very good. You get a side of kimchi, fish cake and pickled radish with rice. Friendly service every time.

Yelp
Have been under the weather lately, so wanted something warm and comforting so decided to try this place for dinner. I ordered the Mixed Seolleongtang and my boyfriend got the TonKatsu. Mixed Seolleongtang light and had a wonderful bone broth flavor. I like that I can add as much or as less salt as I would like. The bit of noodle with the rice just made it so comforting and delicious. My boyfriend's poor cutlet was pretty good as well. He thought the pickle jalapeño was a nice added in touch. Their side of kimchi was great as well. So give this place a try when you're looking for some comforting Korean soups.

Yelp
One of my favorite Korean soup spots in the 626. I really like the soondaeguk. The description doesn't mention tongue meat inside it but it always has pork tongue which I really enjoy. If you like sukiyaki the bulgogi soup is good. The broth is healing after a hangover or sickness. Service is good too. I love their kimchi

Yelp
Finally got around to coming back to this spot and was super satisfied with their soups. This time around I only came with a party of two so we ended up sharing two soups. Galbitang - SOOOO flavorful, the beef flavor is strong and I like it. This is a winner, last time I had the spicy and this time the regular. Both are good! (5/5) Sullungtang - It's definitely the lightest tasting sullungtang I've had in terms of flavor. It's on the blander side but with a little bit of added salt it's perfect. Flavors are good and loved the brisket. (4.5/5) This spot is so comforting and the food taste real healthy. Comes with 3 side dishes (fish cake, kimchi, and pickled daikon) which are all refillable as well as a bowl of white rice per soup dish. Definitely a go-to for local Korean soups for me. Parking - They have a lot behind the restaurant so it's pretty easy.

Yelp
We got the Bossam and it is one of the best I have tried in awhile. The Napa cabbage is fresh and slightly salty which is good with the pork belly and banchans. They give you a generous amount of garlic and jalapenos instead of a small portion which is a plus. Pork belly was not too dry and had a good amount of fat to meat ratio per slice. Garlic also had a slight spicy taste which is a nice addition to the salted shrimp . Overall a 10/10 for the dish with the accompanying banchans. The food was brought out quickly and promptly with staff who were attentive and friendly. The vibe is clean and pleasant with lots of natural sunlight and tables. The restaurant ambiance was calm yet peaceful which is nice. Perfect for a chill vibe out with family and friends to enjoy Korean food. Will come back to try the other dishes!

Yelp
This place is amaziiiing. If you have never had bossam, I highly recommend. The galbi tang is also incredible. If you want a comforting meal, come here! If you're sick and craving soup, come here!

Yelp
Just found my new go-to spot for Korean soup! Also the perfect hangover cure. Ordered the soondae, mixed haejangguk, and soondaeguk. Everything was soooo good, I think the best Korean soup I've had in 626 area so far. Soondaeguk broth tasted clean and was so refreshing. Loaded with meat! The mixed haejangguk was mild in spice and very flavorful. Lot of veggies and meat, and the intestine suprisingly tasted very clean with no gaminess at all. Only thing I didn't like was the blood cake in the haejangguk; it was overcooked and very grainy with a STRONG blood taste. The side order of soondae came out hot and was so soft and tasted homemade. Not the best soondae I ever had, but delicious! I loveee their banchan too. Wasn't expecting this but hands down the best fish cake banchan I ever had!!! Their kimchi is delicious too if you prefer it fresh rather than super fermented. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The restaurant was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon, but I hope more people find out about this place! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Pretty good Korean soup for this area. Rice came before the soup, which was strange. Soup came out very slowly, but there was a disclaimer on the menu that said perfection takes time. Very packed on the weekend.
google avatar

Yelp
They are famous for their incredibly rich and milky beef bone soup, My personal favorite, though, is the braised pork feet. It's tender, marinated just right, not overly seasoned so you can still savor the natural gelatinous texture and taste of the pork. The dish is served with a selection of super fresh sides, wrapped everything together , super yummy! Everything arrived promptly and with care. Place is very clean and cozy. You come here for the food and the warm, down-to-earth vibe.

Yelp
Saw this in the top rated for years and never bother to come and finally did because a friend wanted to. Now I feel like I've missed out for so many years! - bossam 5/5 - I would say this is definitely their specialty! My first time having it and it was amazing! Seems like a sort of boiled or steamed pork that you dress with a few toppings on the plate and then treat it like a wrap with super fresh crispy lettuce - gamja tang 4/5 - flavorful stew, great for colder weather - bonchon(korean side dishes) 5/5 - some of the best spiced radishes I've ever had, perfect flavor

Yelp
Myung Ga Fun Facts: Myung Ga was founded by a team of like-minded foodies; a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and create amazing food together. Our hobby quickly led us to opening this restaurant, a place where people from all over California can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere. Mission Statement: Founded in 2000, Myung Ga is known for revolutionizing the way people eat and enjoy Authentic Korean food. We take pride in our ability to discover the most unique flavors from around the world and share them with the people in California area. Join us to enjoy all soup served in boiling hot pot. Visitation Rights: 3 or 4 times Restroom: One restroom for men and one restroom for women. So a total of 2. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Location/Parking: Located next to The Station (dive bar). Tough to find parking in the shared lot during high traffic times, but there is street parking available along Baldwin Ave., on Naomi, or Duarte. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with modern furnishings. Wait Time: I can see this place get busy. The times that I've gone there wasn't much of a wait. You can now reserve a table through their yelp page. Service: For the most part, service is decent. Side Dish Offerings: With your entree, it comes with 4 side dishes: Kimchi, leek, kimchi kakkdugi (radish), and fish cake. Their kimchi and fish cakes are very good. Usually order extra of those. Note: You can't bring the kimchi or the kimchi kakkdugi home. So load up as much as you can while you dine in. Soup Of Choice(s): Very yummy! Can't go wrong with either: 1) Gamja-tang (pork neck bone, potatoes, cabbage, scallions, water celery, sesame leaf with spicy pork soup). Hearty, delicious, and great for the soul. 2) Galbitang (beef short ribs, glass noodle, scallions with beef broth): Hearty, delicious, and great for the soul. Myung Ga For Thought: Cold weather means more soup for me! More incentive to come back for more soup! Yesssssirrrriiiiitos!

Yelp
Myung Ga isn't exactly close to me, but I happened to be in the area and figured I'd finally give it a try. I ordered the bossam--portion was big enough for two, but overall it was just average. The pork had some good bites, but a few pieces were way too fatty in a not-so-great way. The place seems pretty popular, but honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Especially with how rude the cashier was. But A+ for the packaging for to go orders

Yelp
This is a hole in a wall korean soup spot located in Arcadia. It's one of my favorite places to go where I craved for korean soups without driving to ktown. There is street parking in front of the restaurant and a parking lot in the back. My bf and I got the galbitang and katsu to share. The food comes with banchan such as kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes. I really like the kimchi and radish here because it isn't too sour like how some places are. The galbitang came out and it was piping hot. The broth itself is very flavorful and you don't need to add any salt to it. The katsu was bigger than what we expected and we couldn't finish it. The waitress were really nice and restaurant is clean as well. Overall, I would be back here when I am craving for soup.
google avatar

Sheeny N.

Yelp
The best Korean restaurant in the 626 area! I ordered the Spicy Galbitang, and I love how it came with a lot of meat and had just the right amount of spice! The bone broth was savory and authentic. They also use clear noodles which really absorbs the flavor of the broth! Service was spectacular! Because my soup was spicy and red, one of the waitresses gave me an apron to wear so that it wouldn't splash on my shirt. So thoughtful and sweet! She also came over to my table and actually helped me cut the meat off of the big bone when she saw me struggling to eat it, which I really appreciated! The meal also comes with a complimentary bowl of rice and Korean side dishes (fish cake, kimchi, and daikon). I also tried their Bossam and I would say it's ideally for bigger parties since the portion was pretty big. There's a free parking lot in the back of the restaurant, which is a huge PLUS. There are a lot of tables inside and everything is very clean! I noticed that they are definitely busier during dinner hours than lunch hours. Food is a bit on the pricier side, and they only offer metal chopsticks so sometimes it burned my lips when my chopsticks were in the soup for too long. Nonetheless, I would still come back again!

Yelp
If you're craving comforting Korean soups and classic dishes, Myung Ga Haejangguk is the place to be! We tried the sullangtang, gamja tang, bossam, and soondae, and everything was solid across the board. Sullangtang: Milky, rich broth with just the right level of seasoning (you can adjust it yourself, which is a nice touch). Perfectly tender beef and noodles made it super satisfying. Gamja Tang: Hearty and packed with flavor. The pork fell off the bone, and the broth had that perfect spicy kick. Bossam: The sliced pork was tender, and pairing it with the wraps and sides was a flavor explosion. Soondae: Generous portions, with that authentic earthy flavor you'd expect from good soondae. The portions here are huge, so come hungry or be ready to take leftovers home. The servers were attentive and kept the cabbage and side dishes refilled without us even asking--a major plus. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5? The ambiance could use a bit of a refresh, and the wait time during peak hours can stretch a little. But honestly, the food makes up for it. If you're looking for comforting, homey Korean food with big portions, this spot delivers!
google avatar

Cydia N.

Yelp
This place always hit the spot! A bowl of galbitang and a plate of bossom are my go to. Service is here excellent. One of the server would even show us how to eat bossom! They're also very generous with their side dishes.
google avatar

Lilian T.

Yelp
I'm so glad this place exists in 626 and I don't have to go all the way to ktown for authentic Korean food!! The bossam is really good and was able to feed 8 people. We all got soups on the side to share but the plate is huge! I HIGHLYY recommend the tukbaegi if you like sukiyaki and a sweeter broth. Comes with a lot of meat in it, good for 2 ppl I would say. The sides and bonchon are all super fresh too.
google avatar

Yelp
I had bookmarked this spot for ages and never got to try it until today. The restaurant wasn't huge, but it was able to accommodate our large party. They had a shared private lot behind the business and a few spots right infront as well. We were warmly greeted and presented with several side dishes immediately. The sides were fresh and well seasoned, but the kimchi was too garlicky for my personal tastes. We ordered a soup and katsu to try, and both were really good! Yukgaejang: I loved that the soup wasn't just a large bowl of spiciness, despite the looks. You could really taste the flavors of the veggies in the dish. I loved the contrast of the shredded beef with the enoki and bean sprouts. I did add a little more salt to the soup, but otherwise it was delicious! Portion was huge too. Pork cutlet: the cutlet was super crispy, and the sauce it came with was slightly sweetened. My kids loved this dish, and the portion was large too. Overall, we had a great dinner here tonight. All my friends enjoyed their dishes as well. The service was very friendly and helpful. They would notice that we needed something and would bring it over and ask if we would like it. We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I'm always craving Korean food and I'm so glad we discovered this place! The ladies working here are super nice and attentive. They kept refilling our water and sides! The restaurant is spacious and there's plenty of parking in the back. This was the first time I tried SPICY Galbitang and I freaking loved it! I love spicy food, so i'm glad they had this as an option. They also gave me those plastic disposable bibs to protect my shirt from the spicy red stains!

Yelp
It was around 4pm Saturday and we were craving Korean nearby and this place was close by and new to me. We parked in and entered through the back, plenty of parking spots given the banks were all closed. There are seating tables in the back patio as well, however we chose to sit near the windows in the front. Plenty of seating and not busy since it's too early for dinner and late for lunch. The place specializes in soup, however, given we just came back from and outdoor pumpkin patch, we decided to order bossam. In addition, my toddler got really fussy since he was hungry from all the play at the pumpkin patch, the staff was very generous and patient to help with a side dish and rice to calm him down while we order. They also provided water and tea jugs. The bossam looked amazing, plenty of side dishes and pork belly. The radishes were especially delicious with the pork and cabbage. Radishes were not too spicy but still had a nice kick. The pork was tender and fatty, my toddler ate quite a few pieces. We ate everything except the chilies and kimchi (we were too full to eat all the kimchi). Overall it was great, we spent roughly 50$ among the two adult and a toddler, plus tip. I'd probably try other dishes next time. Restrooms are gendered and for one person at a time.

Yelp
Came here to have lunch on a Wednesday with a friend. It was a little passed 1 pm so the place was not busy. I ordered the beef noodle soup and my friend ordered the yukgaejang. Just like typical Korean restaurants, we got free side dishes: fish cakes, kimchi and pickled spicy radish. They were pretty decent. Food came pretty fast. Portion was big. But I was a bit disappointed with the taste of my noodle soup , it was bland, somehow the soup didn't taste like bone broth but more like chicken bouillon soup. My friend wasn't thrilled with her yukgaejang either. She is Korean so she has tasted enough to know what is good or not. I am not sure if I want to return.

Yelp
been here three times. 1. sunji haggenguk 7/10 flavorful and nice 2. yuk gaejang 10/10 big portion and very flavorful and lots of spicyness 3. spicy gaitang 4/10.. big pieces of bones and meat attached to the bones gives the illusion of a big amount, less overall service was nice sometimes. you can stay past closing time for 20 minutes then they rush you out. ‍. clean environment, although someone could contaminate all the utensils in the table
google avatar

Jin Wai G.

Yelp
Food was great! Got the Galbitang and Doganitang and both had very flavorful broths. Side dishes were also classic and appetizing. Very hole-in-the-walll vibes. Waitresses were friendly and responsive. Definitely recommend if you love Korean soup-dishes.
google avatar

Hoa H.

Yelp
Legit Korean restaurant! We got the Galbitang and that was pretty good. We find the soup here a lot more flavorful than some other places we've been. The portion was reasonable. Good service and ambiance, spacious and ample seatings.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely love the bossam and donkatsu! Staff here are always super sweet & friendly.

Yelp
I was asking for a dipping sauce and they won't give it. I usually eat my soondae with a sauce to dip with all the meat and pork blood. It's just asking for a salt and pepper but NOT willing to give to a customer. I also have a business and it's all about pleasing the customer. Giving everything they want to be satisfied with the service and over all experience.

Kat L.

Yelp
I don't know what the hype is about it was my first time and I asked what was the special. I was recommended number 6 so I ordered that the soup was literally some white soup with very hard thin pieces of beef brisket and that was it. There was nothing else in the soup and it was so bland even the ban Chan was so little and the variety was poor. I will not go back again.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Not as good as Moobongri Soondae, but still a solid choice for Korean soup. The beef brisket in the haejangguk is so tender and the amount is pretty fair, which is probably the best part about it. I also liked that there wasn't an overwhelming amount of ox blood - it was just enough to get a taste of it. The cabbage pieces were huge, and I think I would have liked their haejangguk more if they took the time to cut the cabbage into smaller, bite-sized pieces. The pork belly soup was alright, mainly because the quality of the pork belly slices wasn't as good as the ones at Moobongri. These ones didn't have much texture or flavor. We waited about 15 minutes for the soups, but they came out piping hot and nothing inside was overcooked. The fish banchan was very solid. The kimchi was fresh but very mild tasting. Sadly, they do not serve alcohol.

Yelp
We ordered the Bossam, LA galbi combo with galbitang. Portion is enough for 3 of us for lunch and enough leftovers for dinner. Good deal.

Yelp
First time trying this place because I love pork bossam. They have plenty of parking in the back of the parking lot. When I arrived the place was empty so we got seated right away since we were here for an early dinner on a Tuesday 5:30pm. The menu doesn't have much option just soup, cutlet and pork bossam. We ordered the pork bossam (43$) and 2 oxtail glass noodle soup (21$ each). Food came out fast, it came with sides and their radish was amazing we kept asking for more. But the kimchi in my opinion was a little too salty for me. Bossam was amazing super tender and pairs so well with all the fermented veggies. The oxtail meat in the soup was so tasty and tender (fall off the bone) but the soup was a little salty for me. Overall this place is not bad and would come back for the pork belly!

Yelp
I love bossam so super excited to have a korean restaurant in the SGV that serves this dish. The bossam is perfect for 2 people. It's good but not as good as ktown's. Service was fast though and they dont skimp on the banchan refills. There is a parking lot in the back. Came here during lunchtime on a weekend and I didn't have to wait.

Yelp
This place is LEGIT if you're looking for traditional Korean food and old school spicy kimchi, not the tangy sweet pickled crap most restaurants serve these days. Portions are big and can be shared or leftovers would be enough for another meal. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
YUM. I love bossam and this is a great place to get it. We split the smallest size between two people and ended up with about half of the portion leftover to take home. Their kimchi was my favorite side dish but they were all great. The combo of the bossam, napa, raw garlic, and samjjang is perfect! We were seated right away on a Saturday night in a clean restaurant and the staff was friendly. No complaints!

Yelp
Came here with 2 friends for a girls' night and we shared the Bossam and the Galbitang. So much food and it was all delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful. The soup to noodles ratio was perfect. There was a handful of banchan-kinda wish there was a bit more variety. I would definitely come again.

Yelp
My favorite spot for Bossam! So delicious, so fresh, so yummmmmmm! The bossam here is a must! The pork belly is juicy and flavorful, the sides it come with, the Napa is crispy, lightly fermented, the radishes, kimchi, and fish cakes are absolutely delicious! Trust me get this! You can go wrong. They have a variety of soup to choose from as well and we usually go with this red one. I forgot what it's called. But it was packed with glass noodles, shredded beef, sprouts, and the spice level is adjustable. Super flavorful beefy broth. Parking is plenty Service is great! Super friendly staff and they teach you how to eat the bossam if you e never had it before.

Yelp
I'm glad I don't have to drive far to get bossam now. Came as a party of 3 and ordered the bossam and 2 soups to share, and it was a lot of food. The pork belly was tender and it's fun to make wraps. Their kimchi and radish is delicious. Their galbitang is flavorful and comforting. The sulluntang tasted nice and clean. The staff are attentive and checked on us to refill water and kimchi.

Yelp
The service was great! Also the Korean food was good (although I don't know how it compares to super authentic food, but it felt like it was). I had the pork gukbap, which had a lot of pork (but not a lot of noodle). The flavor was light, but from what I've read, that's how the dish is. I wasn't a big fan of the blood sausage, but I believe that's my personal preference, so take that with a grain of salt. All in all, I would come back for the gukbap!

Yelp
Amazing! I've never been a big pork fan unless it's saucy or cured, and even I think this bossam is delicious. The place is small but gives a home style/family night vibes. Very clean and the staff were sweet. The waitress excitedly explained how to eat the bossam (I already knew how but it was sweet nonetheless). The bossam was slightly warm (I've only had it cold before but it was yummy)! The cabbage served with the bossam is slightly blanched so it made it easy to make each wrap. The soybean paste was a yummy addition (not too salty). The kimchi was good but I've never seen a place say you can't take leftover kimchi. The soup was spicy even though it's described as spicy. The veggies in it were good and the noodles weren't overcooked. I'd come back and probably try another soup. And of course more bossam!

Yelp
Solid spots for soups and bossam. I noticed everyone also ordered the tonkatsu which was ginormous! Will definitely try that next time.

Yelp
Food is amazing! There are variation of customers that come dine here on are families, young and older crowds as well. Parking: Back parking lot has a lot space. Easy and plenty of parking shared between all the restaurants. Service: More on the faster side, what I mean is you kind of order quick when it's around rush hour. There are lot of Korean Ahjummas that wait the tables so they'll be able to explain to you if you ask them recommendations. I believe you order as it is and you're not allowed to adjust your food order. All orders come with banchan (Korean dishes: kimchi radish, radish and sauce, small rice bowl). Yukgaejung: It's more spicy oil than pain spice. I would be very careful with soup splashes and use the tongs and scissors provided to cut the noodles and scoop up the food. It's a pretty decent size bowl about 1.5 hand sizes to share between two people to make you feel content. Spicy Galbitang: I would recommend getting this dish if you like slight spicy, glass noodles and it has some shredded beef short rib. Dish overall was good, I also would not recommend wearing nice because of the oil splash back.
