I like spicey food, but not I hurt you spicey. When we ordered our food, the rating for spicey was mild, medium, or hot. I went with medium. Our waitress was like, you could do a medium +, ".... sounds like a dare Harry."... Ill do it. My chicken pad se ewe cane out great, pnut sauce flavorful, and the drink I has, the whiskey and ginger bits was fantastic. If you like Thai food, hit this place up!

I came to this Thai restaurant for lunch and dinner for a few times now and they have tasty food and exceptional services, will definitely come back here again and again.

This is our local Thai place, so it’s great that they do such a wonderful job. The food is always hot, fresh, well-cooked. You can taste each veggie and they have great texture. The service is always cheerful and attentive. Food is always on schedule or even early. Plus I’m celiac and extremely sensitive and they’ve never made me sick. Check out this place today!

It really hit the spot! I had the cashew nut noodle bowl, and the rice noodles were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tofu was actually good, well seasoned and lightly fried. The Tom yum soup was absolutely delicious. Definitely try out the curry puffs, I love the cucumber salad that comes with it. I’m so glad I found this place, I haven’t had such good Thai food in a long time. The atmosphere was fun and the staff were friendly too. I like the cozy booths with big street facing windows.

Yall i ordered from this restaurant and got delivery, it is so delicious i got the bbq pork pad thai and it is the best I’ve had in all my life. It's flavorful, the chicken is juicy and the noodles are the perfect texture i definitely give it a 10/10 thank you guys for this amazing food !!!

Already in my top 5 the first time I went. Best Tom Yum soup base I've had in PDX and the duck noodles 5 spice broth was the best Chinese soup. Just mmmm

Nakhon Sawann Thai Restaurant has been our "go to" for amazing Thai food for years, especially during the COVID lockdown. We appreciate that they offer and label GF/V dishes for those of us who have food sensitivities. The yellow curry and pumpkin curry are sooooo good! Honestly, we've loved everything that we've ordered from here. And to top it off, the family members who work there are very kind and accommodating.

Never have been in person but ordered delivery through a third-party. I chose this place for my Thai food fix because they distinctly call out vegan options, which is important to me as someone with a shellfish allergy and who has had bad experiences at other restaurants. The only thing that was different from their site and doordash's menu is some stuff on their website say to note vegan preferences but you weren't able to enable that option on some dishes on DD. Either way, I ended up with the cashew nut noodle dish and I LOVED the super duper wide flat and chewy noodles. That was my absolute favorite part and they were so good. I got medium spice and it was a wee bit bland and dry, but still had a bunch of flavor and nothing a little extra sriracha couldn't fix. There weren't a ton of cashews either, and one side of each nut was totally blackened like they sat cooking too long. But still totally edible! I was a bit disappointed that the salad rolls were not as described on the menu -- instead of including basil, it was just the tofu, noodles, and what looked like a salad bag mix with lettuce and cabbage. My husband got the crab Rangoon and the yellow curry with chicken and shrimp. He got mild spice and suggested he could have handled more. He really enjoyed both of his dishes. Both of our meals were generous portions. Despite having a couple minor complaints, overall, the food was very good and I'll be ordering again to try something else.

I was in the neighborhood only for 3 days and I already stopped here twice. They were just exactly what you need for: cozy, quick services, attentive and friendly staff, homey food AND baby-friendly. The first time, I ordered pick up and it was so fast, only 10 minutes and it was already ready for pick up. The second time my family came in with an infant. They provided high chair, baby utensils and plate, and just so nice. Food was good, especially the special house noodle, exactly what I was looking for (similar to Tom Yum noodle soup). Will definitely come back whenever I'm in town.

I ordered food delivery. The pad see ew with chicken and shrimp was very tasty. Haven't been to the restaurant so I can't speak to ambiance and I have 4 stars because some noodles were stuck together. All that said, it was a good lunch and I will be back to try more dishes.

I ordered the Gyoza, Pad Thai and Sweet Sticky Rice. I am so thrilled I happened upon this gem of a place! Superb service and exemplary food! My palate is definitely satisfied with the amazing flavors. The deep fried Gyoza was just crispy enough and not over cooked and dipped in the sweet chili sauce...perfecto. Chicken Pad Thai was very good, wasn't lacking of ingredients or flavor. Perfect balance and generous with ingredients. The sticky rice with mango- one of my favorites and I had been craving it all day. Finished off my meal perfectly. I will definitely be back and dine in next time.

Delicious duck noodle soup and curry with pumpkin. Quiet, clean, excellent service Fromm one of the family members who run it. All fresh vegetables! Cooked to perfection.

I order from this place regularly for delivery. The food is always flavorful and fresh and comes as the way I ordered it. I usually get the pad kee mao and the black pepper and garlic stir fry. I always have plenty of food for multiple meals which is great when trying to figure out prepping meals for the week.

Walked two miles round trip to ty Nakhon and it did not disappoint. The nicest of staff. Went with a non-adventurous order of red curry and pad Thai with medium spice. Walk-in order to go, ready in ten minutes. Both dishes were spot on. Flavorful, tender with satisfactory portion size (ordered off the lunch menu). I was very happy with the service and food. I will definitely be back. Both dishes were piping hot by the time I got back home.

I ordered through GrubHub, and I had the house soup with chicken wontons and the mango sticky rice. Oh. My. Goodness. Affordable, delicious, INCREDIBLE! Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. So flavorful, packaged incredibly (two liquid products and no leaks in either, even after I dropped the bag on accident!), still piping hot when I got it, just amazing. Worth every penny.

Extremely authentic delicious food. Best Pad Thai in my life... this is how Pad Thai is suppose to taste like! Coconut mango sticky rice topped it off... I am now a sticky rice fanatic!

Was a bit disappointed in this place. We did get takeout so that could have affected the quality, but it came lukewarm. The food was a bit bland and too oily, and the balance of flavors felt off. Maybe we'll try it again sometime but overall not the best experience.

Soooooo good! I did a lot of research on thai places for our 1 night in portland before coming here and def made the right choice! This is a small quaint restaurant, not fancy, but I am still talking about the food 3 days later. We ate inside but it seemed like most people did pick up (it was a Monday).

So glad I got to go to the grand opening of Nakhon Sawan! We got several dishes which mainly included their specials, the duck noodle and chicken yakisoba teriyaki. I loved the duck noodle since the duck was tender and the noodles had a nice chewy texture. The chicken yakisoba also had a great flavor along with the texture of the noodles! The Thai tea was super refreshing and washed everything down nicely. We also got the tofu salad rolls as an appetizer and the peanut sauce paired nicely with it! Be sure to check in on Yelp so you can get a free Thai iced tea with your meal! Can't wait to stop by again to try some more of their specials and appetizers!

Amazing dinner! We ordered the coconut shrimp, cashew wide noodles, and basil fried chicken and they were all TO DIE FOR! Service was good and we couldn't have been happier with our dinner choices.

First time here and we will be back. Chicken pad thai was amazing. Spring rolls and curry puffs (warning:they're spicy!) were good too. Everything just had a lot of flavor. Prices were average. Customer service was good.

This is one of the best Thai places I have went to and the service here is top-notch. The establishment is at the corner of Division and 42nd Avenue with plenty of street parking available. The inside of this place is also brightly lit due to large windows. Their food is not only exquisite but very unique. For example, their duck noodles dish is uncommon amongst Thai restaurants. The meat is nicely flavored and the texture of the noodles is great. The Pad See Ew I ordered also had very fresh ingredients and the flavor was spot on.

9$ lunch special. Pretty quick and warm food. Lychee mojihito was good. Very friendly. The red curry with tofu and veggies is a 2$ surcharge for veggies. Doesn't red curry come with standard veggies? Don't forget to check in on Yelp (which I forgot) to save 5percent. Tip your servers!

CRAB FRIED RICE ohhhhh awwww real crab. Squeezzze the lime on it n ask for more wedges bc the pairing is perfection. Wish it had more round onions for the crunchy texture n taste. If I were home I'd add lots more green onion topping. All in all contentment!

Very delicious and filling. The salmon cashew wok had perfect flavor. The salmon was grilled to perfection. Salad rolls with shrimp were tasty and good sized. Great peanut sauce. Shrimp cashew noodles were so good as well. All the sauces and spices were the best. Look forward to trying everything on the menu. Oh, almost forgot, the basil Mojito was delicious!!!

To celebrate two years here they recently refreshed the place, it looks so nice! I've been goin here ALOT the last two years. Always excellent, delicious food and drinks as always! And the owner awesome and friendly, visit!

This is our favorite Thai restaurant anywhere. Raksuda and crew are incredibly kind! They remember our preferences, treat our kiddo with sensory issues with respect and accommodate her desires, and always make us feel welcome. Food and service are consistently great. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

The service and food was amazing!! We got pad thai, house fried rice with Shrimp. And to top it off the magi sticky rice was to die for.

Well, was looking for something really satisfying and relatively quick. So order from here tonight and have to say.... 1: The crab Rangoons were delicious. 2: The Gyoza was so so(really enjoyed the matched sauce though). 3: The crab fried rice was delicious, except for the fact that halfway through I found a tiny piece of plastic. Realize there's a pandemic raging on, but that still really sucks. I honestly thought it was a piece of crab shell(because the crab was tasting might fine!) until I spit it out to place on my plate. Thankful I didn't bite down hard onto it since I just recently had dental surgery and was ordering this particularly because it sounded like a lot of soft food. Hopeful next time I order everything will be tip top.

One of my favorite Thai places in Portland. It's been hard with the pandemic, losing a lot of good restaurants around the city is one of the many small sad things that have happened. This place has been staying strong throughout though, and I'm very glad. Pad See Ew is always a favorite of mine, and their house wonton soup is perfect for a chilly day.

Just had lunch at one of the best Thai food restaurants in Portland the place is clean, service is excellent. Raksuda is hot and attentive. Fast service with good food. if you don't try this, you'll miss out on some of the best Thailand has to offer. Bring your friends!!!

Delicious. Everything was amazing from the Thai iced tea to the Tom Kha soup. I ordered the curry puffs as well and they were perfectly crispy. Get a side of the peanut sauce too, you won't regret it.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and it was so delicious - the shrimp were cooked perfectly and so tender! I also had a Cadillac margarita and it's one of the best I have ever had in my life. We will be back often!

I asked for. not spicy which they ignored. The soup was good, but the pad Thai with blue noodles was unpleasant. Also they forgot my calamari-- which I paid for.

I had high expectations I guess... Ordered online through their website. Is was ready fairly quickly. The crab ragoons were decent. The sauce wasn't just sugar and it tasted like crab. The pad Thai was pretty sub par, we got the fried pork as our meat and it was interesting, not that flavorful and not very much meat for a $2 up charge. It was bits of pork belly deep fried. The noodles didn't have a lot of flavor to them and they were a bit dry. The Tom kah soup tasted good but it didn't come with any rice or anything. So it's just a bowl of soup for that price and you can pay extra for rice on the side I guess. It's about a small bowl of soup worth. So, overall it was unimpressive, and won't be wasting my money on this place again. For that price I expected way better but it's hit and miss in Portland. This place is a miss, your paying for the rent to keep them in that location more than quality of food

Excited to try out a new Thai place in portland. I had the opportunity to eat outside, which was lovely. I ordered the fried chicken in basil sauce, yellow curry, and a iced tea with coconut milk. The food was delicious.

I can't believe no one was here when we went!! It was literally the best Thai food I've had in Portland and I've had a LOT of Portland Thai food. The golden tofu and crab rangoons were PERFECT and the pad thai was delicious

Best Thai food in the SE! Everything i've had has been delicious. Love the pad thai woon sen and noodle soup. That broth is killer and the pork is so good. I also love that the kitchen reads the notes when you order food to go. A lot of places don't, but i hate cilantro and bean sprouts so i always ask for dishes without and i have yet to see a horrid green devil leaf or dirt tasting noodle imposter in anything i've ordered. That alone will keep me coming back!

The best crab fried rice I've had outside of Thailand! This month free appetizer with purchase over $45! Very delicious massamun curry! Highly recommended!

My sister lives around the corner from this amazing Thai restaurant but had not tried it. Based on the reviews as well as an article I read on PDX Eater, we tried it tonight and it was excellent. I have traveled extensively in Thailand and this is the "real deal" with delicate flavors and beautiful large chunks of white chicken. We had that Tom Kha Gai soup - delicious. The basil chicken - a parade of flavors. The yellow curry was the best we have had since New York. The noodles were perfectly prepared. We had 6 dishes and every single one was flawless. Beautifully prepared Thai food and a real treasure. Highly recommended!!!

I ordered takeout from here Sunday and it blew my mind it was so good. The drink was great (basil mojito) and the noodles with chicken thigh were delish.

Delicious drinks and and the food is really good also. Great service and you can tell they put a lot of care in the preparation and presentation of it all. 2nd time there and we were very happy with our meal each time. Hope more people discover it so that they can survive.

Very nice staff, and delicious, flavorful Thai food. The kids love the pad see ew, and we love that they started making delicious pumpkin curry after we asked if they'd consider adding it to their menu, since it's a favorite of ours. The veggies always taste fresh and perfectly cooked, which is a major difference maker with Thai food.

The pork was undercooked and the yakisoba was bland and watery. We couldn't eat our meal. It completely baffles me how this place has so many good reviews. Did the restaurant buy the reviews? Or did we just luck out with an extremely incompetent cook on duty?

My friend and I went here for dinner! I was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in! The lady who seated me immediately offered me a drink while I waited for my friend, and when I asked for hot tea because I was cold, she brought over an entire pot! Our food arrived at our table fairly quickly! My friend ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken and it was served in a fire pot so it stayed hot the entire time! I ordered the Mussaman Curry with tofu and brown rice! It was delicious and had nice chunks of potatoes, tofu, carrots and actual peanuts! The lady who was waiting on us kept our teapot filled since we were both drinking tea, and also checked in on us periodically to see if we needed anything! The restaurant itself consists of booths and you can also sit at the bar if you are just there for cocktails! Each booth has a bottle of hand sanitizer on the window sill in case you want to use it, and there was also a bottle on a table by the entrance. There is street parking in front of the restaurant and along the rest of the street! My friend and I both found parking in front of the restaurant which was nice! Definitely worth checking out if you want some good Thai food at a place with exceptional service!

Tasty food. The wait staff was very nice and accommodated our tired toddler being a bit of a handful (and holding our leftovers after we accidentally forgot them in a box by their bathroom). Looking forward to coming back.

So glad we got to try this place out! For our apps we started off with their spicy chicken paired with a sweet spicy sauce and sticky rice. Yum. I had their Duck noodle dish, and let me just say it tasted amazing. The egg noodle, the bok choy, the tender duck topped off with a special sweet sauce was so rich and flavorful. This dish screamed comfort food. My husband had their Crab Fried rice which he enjoyed very much. The generous amounts of crab meat and perfect consistency of the fried rice makes him wanting more. We also shared an order of Pad Thai with crispy pork! Can't go wrong with this classic noodle. So delicious that I decided to save some to have at home for my late night munchies. We had to top off our meal with Mango Sticky Rice, so so yummy! The mango and rice was soft n' sweet together with the coconut milk was just divine. We couldn't complete our meal without our Thai Ice Tea! I'd also like to add that they have gluten free options available! Next time, we absolutely have to give their cocktails a try!
