NAM Kitchen - Gardena

We were super excited to try after seeing they were #3 on top 100 places to try in 2026 by yelp, and it exceeded all expectations! The broth is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, the short rib in the pho is braised for four hrs. The lomo saltado has crispy fries - the steak was perfectly cooked and tender to bite, exactly what you’d want. The garlic noodles were good and are served with different protein options. There are so many coffees, matchas and mocktails that are beautifully presented with hibiscus flowers. Nam has become one of my favorite fusion restaurants when you want Vietnamese and Peruvian cuisine. You can taste the quality and flavor, everything was so good and def will be back to try the elote appetizer and fried rice!! My new go to spot for pho!!

The pho broth was very good even though it has no msg. The meat was mostly tender and plentiful though I will say the flank was a tad bit chewy. The matcha foam coffee was very good. The oxtail fried rice was good but I wasn't particularly fond of the drier oxtail for the fried rice. I was expecting it to be soft n tender and a little wet. The staff was nice and I would like to come back to try the truffle fried rice and lomo saltado as many have said it was highly recommended. The decor is also pretty neat and open space which isn't common for a typical Viet restaurant.

Nam was very accommodating. Even while they had a long list of guests waiting they were still considerate of my seating preference. The waiters were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided amazing recommendations. The flavors did not miss. I truly enjoyed this Asian -Peruvian inspired cuisine. This place deserves all the hype because it’s that good. Located in Gardena which is really local to me. Their menu options between appetizers, entrees and drinks is a wonderful selection. I ordered the bap xao/street corn, chicken pho, salmon steak noodles, lychee peachee, and coco matcha. Everything was flavorful and delicious and literally provided so much comfort.

Tried this spot in Gardena over the weekend and everything we ordered was so good. We started with the spicy wontons, which had great flavor and just the right amount of heat. We also tried one of the new appetizer menu items, the truffle fried rice, and it did not disappoint! Rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing. For entrees, we ordered the pho shaken-style filet mignon and lomo saltado, both super satisfying. The filet mignon was tender and packed with flavor, and the lomo saltado was hearty and comforting. For drinks, we got the Lychee Peachee and June Lemon, which were light, refreshing, and paired really well with the food. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

I had the lomo saltado and was really impressed with the quality! The fries were perfectly crispy and the meat was cooked just right with nice fresh tomatoes. The dish had great flavor and was very satisfying. I also tried the ribeye steak with garlic noodles, and again, the steak was cooked to perfection. The garlic noodles were super flavorful and paired really well with the ribeye. The prices are very fair, especially considering how expensive meat is these days. The chicken wings were another standout dish! They were nice and crunchy with a delicious Vietnamese-style fish sauce seasoning that really made them pop. Between the lomo saltado, the steak and noodles, and the wings, everything we ordered was excellent. This is definitely the best Vietnamese food in Gardena in my opinion! It was busy on a Saturday night when we visited, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating despite the crowd. I noticed most of the staff spoke Vietnamese which added to the authentic feel of the restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. Overall, I'd highly recommend Nam Kitchen if you're in the Gardena area and craving quality Vietnamese food!

Beautiful Vietnamese restaurant with a stunning interior and a calm upscale vibe. The food was excellent. Noodles were incredibly tasty, the soup with appetizers and tender meat was rich and comforting. Service was attentive and smooth without pressure. Everything felt well thought out, polished, and enjoyable.

Unfortunately I did not take a picture of my pho but guys I can really tell you that it was great. We were surfing the jet lag effects after landing in LAX and we needed something tasty full of flavor for a rainy cold winter day, trust me their combo pho special hit the spot that they. Next time I'm there I will tale lots of pictures but for right now, you can trust my words, I recommend this place for a great pho consume.

If you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese cuisine, NAM kitchen is an absolute must-try. Their pho is simply outstanding--rich, aromatic broth with tender slices of beef or chicken, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. The balance of flavors is spot-on, not too salty or greasy, with just the right amount of spice. The service is friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size.

This is the best and most standard bowl phở that I have enjoyed over 25 years living in California. I believe that the owner of restaurant is very passionate about phở and their restaurant. I come here for lunch quite a lot and really enjoy the ox tail fried rice. If you haven't had ox tail before this is a very nice first time. Thanks for the water refills Tiffany!

Had a Combination Pho and it was GREAT!! Ordered filet mignon with the extra meatball and brisket it was amazing!! Great service and very quick to serve the bowl!! coming back for me! Very cute interior with nice decor and modern style.

[ Food ] I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was good, the portion of the beef was smaller than expected; the green sauce was good. I also tried the calamari which was really good and crunchy. I sampled some garlic noodles and pho from my family, those were okay in my opinion. [ Service ] The servers seemed nice, but my food came out kind of late. Everyone in my party was halfway done with their food before my lomo saltado came out. No biggie, they seemed pretty busy. [ Parking ] There's a parking lot that they share with other restaurants, we luckily found a spot though. [ Restroom ] Yes, there's a restroom.

I've pretty much given up on finding quality Vietnamese food in the South Bay area, but when a friend asked if we'd tried NAM Kitchen and said it's good, we decided to come and give it a try for ourselves. The restaurant is really busy, but their staff is hustling to turn these tables over quick so our wait wasn't long at all. Between my party of 3, we ordered the lomo saltado, oxtail fried rice, short rib pho, and fried calamari. The calamari were huge rings fried to a crispy perfection and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. Every ring was super tender and not chewy, which was a plus! The short rib pho came with two large bone in ribs with super tender meat and a good amount of noodles. A little difficult to eat (regretted my decision almost instantly), but it was still delicious. The broth was a little too sweet for my taste and probably a little too salty since I was reaching for water constantly all night. The lomo saltado again had super tender meat, but my fiance did make a comment about how even for him some pieces of beef were way too rare for him. The oxtail fried rice portions were enormous and the rice was coated beautifully with oxtail and probably the fat. It was pretty rich and enough to feed 2 people easily. Overall it was a pretty solid spot. Service was spot on and you can see their staff working hard to get everyone what they need. I'd come back again and try some of their other dishes!

Everything was pretty good, the only reason I'm giving a 3 star is the experience. I came in with my family. My wife and 2 kids 4, and 7yrs old. The kids love pho, but they can't eat a whole bowl by themselves. (The older one, maybe) but either way I ordered a bowl of pho for myself, and got a 2nd bowl for the kids to share. Now they have unlimited noodles so I thought, perfect! 1 bowl isn't enough for both kids. To be fair, I didn't want to be cheap and take advantage of the free noodles, so on top of the 2 pho, we ordered an entree for my wife and an extra plate so that technically we ordered 4 entrees for 4 people. Now when we asked for the check the waiter came by and gave us the check and then made a comment about how next time we can't order 1 bowl of pho for 2 people, but that this time he'll let it slide. I explained to him that I understood and that's why I ordered 4 entrees so that I'm not being cheap but he shrugged it off and said that we can't do that next time. I dunno, again, if I came in and ordered 3 plates, and abused the free noodles so that the whole family can have pho, it makes sense. I definitely thought I was being fair in ordering 4 plates and getting free noodles was not a cheapskate move. Regardless, there are plenty of other pho options in the Southbay and there's no reason for me to come back when they make you feel like crap.

House Chicken Wings - needed salt. It had flavor but it was lacking salt, in my opinion. Oxtail Fried Rice - loved that the yolks were still runny even though it was takeout. Taro Coffee: strong af. I'm not a huge fan of Vietamese coffee but if you are, you'll probably like it. I was curious to see how Taro Coffee was and now I know. Friendly staff and order was ready when stated.

Hidden in a corner of a small parking lot, Nam Kitchen was a great find! Just be prepared to wait for a spot when it's the lunch/dinner rush. I ordered their oxtail beef fried rice and calamari. Fried rice was so amazing, even when I consumed the leftovers after I got home. Definitely 10/10! Calamari was not as impressive. Presentation was great! Came with some veggies and sweet&sour sauce, but the calamari itself was too chewy (much more than usual) and the breading was just falling apart. Only ate 2 pcs just in case the 1st one was a fluke. Didn't bother eating the rest. I also ordered shrimp fresh spring roll to go. Though it was good, the peanut sauce again was not impressive. I've definitely had better. I'll still probably come back just for the oxtail fried rice.

Was craving Vietnamese food and decided to give NAM a try since the good reviews and I was always curious every time I drove past it. Husband and I ordered several dishes to try and I got the taro coffee. The pho dac biet was good, love that they do unlimited noodles for dine in customers, broth had great flavor and they didn't skimp on the meat. The egg rolls were also pretty good, nice crisp and great flavor, who doesn't love a good egg roll! We also ordered the oxtail fried rice since everyone was raving about it. Unfortunately it fell short of our expectations. First off, I realized it was missing sauce after relooking at everyone else's photos. If we were to have sauce with the rice it would have been better since it was very bland. Lastly, taro coffee, the cream was nice but the coffee itself was not my favorite Vietnamese coffee. Service was decently quick and the restaurant itself was pretty clean and spacious. Wouldn't mind coming back if ever I'm craving pho.

Ambiance: At first, looking from the outside, it looks really small, but as soon as you open the doors, it is HUGE. It is such a perfect place to bring your family, friends and even bring your date to! It's literally such a vibe. Service: Omg the service is amazing. Our food came out so fast like I was in shock. I was prepared to sit and wait for a bit, but WOW. It came QUICK. Everyone here is so sweet and nice. Our waiter even told us their fave drinks. HOSPITALITY IS SUPERB!!!!!!! I FELT LIKE ROYALTY FR FOOD: YEAH I'LL BE COMING BACK HERE. The bowls of pho is HUGE. I love how you're able to get a refill of noodles since i'm a noodle girly. We ordered the Pho Filet Mignon and the Oxtail Fried Rice. AND I AM TELLING YOU, THEY ARE BOTH SOOO GOOD. I love fried rice especially when it comes with a fried egg. They give you TWO fried eggs in that rice like wow like im obsessed. MY PARTNER ALSO SLURPED THAT BROTH UP.. like im laughing right now while typing this. We also ordered some drinks of course . We ordered the Matcha Coffee and the Lychee Peachee. The Matcha Coffee is strong in the beginning (in which we both like a lot) BUT it does taste even better when the matcha and coffee is mixed. THE LYCHEE PEACHEE THOUGH....... i drank it like there was no tomorrow. I'm telling you it tastes like summer. OH AND.. we also got the Coco-Matcha and the Pink Petal. The Pink Petal tastes exactly what it describes. My partner loves it a lot. It has a perfect tartness to it that comes from the strawberry. The Coco-Matcha... WON THE NIGHT. The matcha taste is so so sooo good and the coconut water... SO FRESH. It tastes so refreshing. When we come back, I'm going to get the Coco-Matcha and Lychee Peachee again. I also want to try the House Fried Chicken, the Fries and the Garlic Noodles. (I needed to add this at the end so I remember what to get next time lol)

One of the best if not the best pho spots in the South Bay area. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and it was delicious. It was super flavorful and rich. The portions are generous for the price and the restaurant provides unlimited pho noodle refills. Service is fast given how packed this place is during the weekends. The restaurant is on the louder side with the open area seating. I definitely recommend this place! I have been back several times and it never disappoints.

Stopped by here for a weekday lunch and had a great first time experience! The staff is very attentive and friendly. I opted for the combination pho and the broth was very aromatic and clean. The restaurant was also very clean and had a nice casual ambiance! I'm planning to come back to try their lomo saltado as I see that it was a favorite on everyone else's table. Note that parking in the lot is very small and some are reserved for other surrounding eateries in the same plaza!

The food is excellent and a good value for the high quality Nam serves. I had the crispy house wings and the Cajun Shrimp and Garlic Noodles. It is crazy busy and has a lively atmosphere. It was crowded but the wait went quickly. The best part was the kind, respectful service from the staff members, especially Khoi. Two thumbs up, waaaay up! En serio! I'll be back tomorrow!

Solid Asian-fusion bistro in the South Bay! Reminds me of places in Vegas, for whatever reason. Tried their prawn garlic noodles and their pho (beef belly). Prawn Garlic Noodles - ample pieces of prawn, pungent garlic flavor, and well cooked noodles. Could use another flavor note, and it's more of share dish, in my opinion. Beef Belly Pho - must try. ample pieces of beef, super hot broth, and BTW, unlimited noodles. Good for carb load days. Pricing is reasonable. Service is okay. I will be back.

I was in town and this restaurant came highly recommended so I visited this spot for lunch with friends. The restaurant staff were very friendly and didn't rush us when we showed up 20 minutes before closing. We ordered the cucumber salad, garlic salt calamari, house chicken wings, oxtail fried rice, lomo saltado fries, grilled Cajun tiger prawns, tofu goi cuon fresh rolls. Everything was very good. My favorite was the lomo saltado fries. The steak was so tender and flavorful. Also don't forget to have the flan for dessert. So good! The restaurant was clean and the welcoming. I would come back next time I'm in the area. And next time I'll order the pho!

We walked in on a Sunday night without a reservation & was offered an open table by the door; mistake on our part, but I had a hungry child so we took it instead of waiting. After ordering, our drinks were quickly served, followed by appetizers: fries, wings, & salad. I thought it was a bit strange with our drinks in glassware, but water in plastic cups. Typical fries (probably frozen, definitely not fresh/hand cut) with 3 dipping sauces; pricey for the serving size. The Viet-style seasoned wings tasted like honey-garlic; had a nice crust with tender meat. I loved the salad best with the sweet, juicy Korean pears & cabernet vinaigrette; the burrata tasted ok & didn't have the creamy texture of "fresh" burrata, but the cheese felt out of place for this flavor profile. The garlic noodles came first. The noodles were springy but didn't have garlic flavor, or even essence. The ribeye was grilled between a medium-rare to medium-well with some large pieces of fat & some gristle, with mushrooms & a sprinkling of asparagus, & paired with aji sauce. It was a pretty good dish that could have been executed better. The fried rice was served last & was the better entree with chunks of tender, braised oxtail, topped with 2 perfectly cooked sunny-side eggs... breaking the runny yoke to mix with the rice = satisfaction. I had the Lychee Peachee: floral jasmine iced tea mixed with peach purée & crowned with a lychee. It was light & refreshing to balance out the heavy dinner. My brother's & son's June Lemonade was also a good pairing; loved the citrusy yuzu marrying the lemonade & sweetned by the peach purée. NAM Kitchen's decent sized menu consists of appetizers, phở, chef special dishes, garlic noodles, sides, & drinks with moderate to slightly high prices & generous portions. They also have a wine wall carrying Apothic Red Winemaker Blend, Hook or Crook Cellars Field Blend & Cabernet Sauvignon, Three Thieves Cabernet Sauvignon, Jameson Irish Whiskey, etc. if you need a wine/alcoholic pairing. Friendly service, but could use a little attentiveness for refilling our water cups. The dining room is spacious & I don't recommend sitting near the entrance, especially on a windy day. Our hot plates cooled fairly quick due to the constant breeze. The plaza consisted mostly of eateries so parking can be challenging during lunch/dinner rush. NAM Kitchen offers a different spin on Vietnamese food to pique your taste buds. New Year's Eve lunch suggestion of a friend. I love Vietnamese food so I was excited to try this place. Hours are 10-3 and 5-9. The place was busy, so I can understand the break. I had already checked out pics on Yelp and had a hard time deciding on what to order. We both had Beef Ribs Pho. Broth, rice noodles, green onions and 3 beef ribs that were slow roasted for 4 hrs. It was accompanied by fresh Thai basil, jalapeños and bean sprouts. Table sauces were hoisin, hot sauce and chili oil. Getting the meat off the bones was a challenge when you have a Chinese soup spoon and chopsticks. TIP: Ask for a knife and they bring you a fabulous steak knife! I watched the service of many other fabulous dishes that were presented to other tables. We will definitely be back! TIP: 5% discount if you pay cash. Ok, bye.

First time at NAM and let me tell you, the pho really exceeded my expectations. This will definitely be my new go to local spot for pho. The bone broth was so flavorful and delicious. Not too sweet, very beefy and savory. Dine in pho also comes with unlimited refills on noodles which is a nice perk. The bowls are already pretty filling though so I didn't need a refill. The meat was also very tasty. I also tried the Filet Mignon and it was very tender and yummy. Service was very nice and friendly. The ambiance and interior is really nice and modern. I was surprised they were playing a little viet music since the vibe I've noticed at similar restaurants is R&B but it was a thoughtful detail change. Made the pho and experience feel more legit. NAM was inspired by the OC Kei concepts restaurants which I love and they really did a great job with opening up this place for the Gardena/South Bay community. Excited to give some of the other dishes a try in the future.

The food and drinks we ordered were all delicious and satisfying. The servings are generous enough to feed 2-three people comfortably.

NAM Kitchen is very reminiscent of Vox Kitchen, for those that are in OC. The menu is very similar, and the closeness in style is uncanny. It's almost like the same restaurant group opened a copy-cat restaurant in the South Bay. However, the food does live up to the hype simply because this style of food isn't easily found in the area. You'd be hard pressed to find a Vietnamese fusion type restaurant in the South Bay that was even remotely similar to something you'd find in Garden Grove. We ordered take-out this time via their online website and it was pretty easy to do. When we picked up the order on a Saturday rush hour lunch time, the restaurant was packed and there was an hour wait. All good signs. We ordered all the most recommended items, including the ox tail fried rice, the lomo saltado, the cajun prawn garlic noodles, and the nui xao bo. The most unique dish was the nui xao bo. We'd order that again. The ox tail fried rice was actually more mediocre than I expected. You can't really taste the fattiness of the oxtail.

Seeing that this is a Peruvian-Vietnamese fusion, my friends and I were excited cause we loved going to Vox Kitchen. However, it definitely did not come close. Ribeye steak garlic noodles ($30) - the steak was a good size! However the doneness of the steak was not very consistent. The garlic noodle itself was seasoned just enough. I wished it was more umami. Lomo saltado ($22) - tasted more like a Chinese beef stir-fry with fries on it. It has bell peppers and tomato in it but the size of those vegetables were not very evenly cut. Golden pear salad ($16) - this was our least favorite! The pear is sweet, the portion is huge, came with some walnuts. However, not the biggest fan of the dressing. The restaurant is located in a plaza with parking spaces. All the staff was also very attentive with checking in and refilling our drinks.

Great service. Very tentative staff. The food was good. It is a pretty loud place. I forgot to take a picture of the lychee peachee but it was very good and not too sweet, refreshing. Also forgot to take a photo of the spicy wontons but those were good, wrapper was thin.

This place kept coming up on yelp so I gave it a try and can't wait to return! The spicy wontons were deliciously addictive, I also loved the cucumbers but felt they needed a sweet element for balance but the winner here was definitely the June Lemon at $6 per glass I'd easily order 2 or 3 without a bit of shame! (Treat yoself) can't wait to come back for pho and garlic noodles, the chicken wings also look stellar! Great service, super kind and attentive and the food came out quickly and piping hot. Great spot for a meal alone or a group!

Love coming back to this place.. Pho was just in time for the Fall season. We had the chicken and beef rib pho. Their broth was just right, blending in with rich and thick added with their condiments chili garlic and hoisin sauce. Their pho alone is already a meal but you can't just sit there and not try their other appetizers. We tried the garlic salt calamari, crispy fried egg roll and fresh shrimp roll. Damn. We just dip everything and ate most of it with gusto! Their jasmine tea is a must try too.. Service was good. Ask and request and they are there. Very friendly too.. The place is of elevated Vietnamese resto. Love. There were a lot of people eating and very spacious but it gets crowded every now and then.. This is a must try!

Place is nice BUT today was my first order to go and I got this lemon smells old its soggy if I add it to my soup would probably ruin it. A bit disappointed with that I wonder how fresh the rest of the food is..??

We visited Nam Kitchen on a rainy Saturday afternoon. I'd been meaning to try this place for a while but my partner is seldom in the mood for Pho unless it's cold out.--lucky me! I ordered the pho rib bone and my partner got the pho dac biet. Whenever I eat pho, I only add in the sprouts, herbs and citrus. I don't add jalapeños and I never ruin the soup with things like plum sauce or sriracha--I'm a flavor purest in that The base dish should be good enough on its own. The pho rib bone was flavorful and the meat mostly fell off the bones. My bowl came with 3 ribs and was very filling. I enjoyed the dish very much. By contrast, my partner likes adding sauces and chilis so when I tried his pho dac biet, the flavor was sweet w some heat and not to my liking--but he enjoyed the bowl very much. One thing we found odd was that the pho came w lemon wedges instead of limes. It worked well enough but we found it odd (or maybe they were very yellow-colored limes?) One bonus is that all dishes come with unlimited noodle refills. We were both full after our initial bowls so we were unable to capitalize on this. The restaurant has limited waiting area and has some uncovered outdoor tables. I'm unsure if those tables are for to go orders or are available for dine in (since it was raining the day we went). The interior feels very open with booths lining the far wall and tables throughout. The staff was very mixed. Our waiter was also the person who was accepting walk ins and assigning tables. He was cold and impatient when taking orders. By contrast the person who brought us our food and serving the tables next to us was all smiles and warm. Not sure which is typical but I'm used to indifferent service from Vietnamese restaurants so this didn't bother me but it may bother others. Pricing is a bit steep for Pho but given the pho options in Gardena, I would say Nam is among the best tasting options. We will be back.

This vietnamese spot is very put together and has fast service. We got our food within 5 minutes of ordering. The pho filet mignon came with lots of meat and noodles are endless (I believe/was advertised). The space is large and they have 2 restrooms. They have music playing which makes for a good atmosphere. I would check this place out if you're in the area.

All of the dishes and drinks were so good! My favorite was the coco matcha and lomo saltado. Super quick service, everything came out fast. Very nice interior and spacious so lots of people can be seated.

Menu is expanded and still is consistently delicious!! Service has gotten even quicker.

We really enjoyed this restaurant for the first time! There is plenty of parking outside in the shared complex. We were seated right away when we arrived. They kindly asked if we wanted to sit in a booth or table. There was plenty of seating! We ordered the oxtail fried rice, filet migon pho, and coco matcha drink! Everything was really good! We really enjoyed the oxtail fried rice! The sauce on the side makes it so tasty and savory! The pho was also so delicious and comforting. We love that we can order unlimited noodles. Overall, we enjoyed our experience and would recommend! The menu has a lot of options to choose from! We'll definitely be back.

I came here with a large group so I got to try a variety of dishes including filet mignon pho, lomo soltado, nui xiao bao, garlic noodles, etc. All the food dishes were delicious, had nice presentations, and portions were generous. Drinks were special too including the Vietnamese iced latte. Nice seating inside and attentive service. We came on a Saturday for lunch and the restaurant was busy. We had a reservation so we did not have to wait for our table.

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. What a wonderful experience. My wife and I came in for lunch on a Tuesday and had the best time. We brought our 4 month old and she was greeted like a queen. Lol. The food was exceptional and the service was bar none. We ordered the cucumber salad, house chicken wings, combination pho, Lomo saltado, the Ube Coffee and Vietnamese coffee. Starting with a cucumber salad, the marinade was so incredible, and the cucumbers had a real nice crunch to them. The lomo saltado was so good! Tender pieces of filet mignon tossed with veggies and perfectly cooked fries! And the cilantro aji sauce was put of this world! The house wings had a sweet and citrus spice to them, and we're cooked to perfection! And the combination pho was amazing. All the various types of meat were just perfect, and the broth was so savory. I would 100% recommend this place. Sad we didn't find this place sooner because we will be back 1000 times. The service was top-notch! Every single person that works there deserves a raise. And our food took no more than five minutes from ordering to arriving at our table. This restaurant is located in a shopping center with ample parking. All in all, an incredible experience. 1000000% Recommend

I considered it a great place after I went for the third time and told my friends how good the bone Pho was. They make it now with less meat on the bone and looked like the bone is smaller. It is not a good choice anymore. Otherwise Garlic Noodle with shrimp is delicious. Egg roll was good. Cucumber was okay. I would recommend this restaurant. Service is great. Ambiance is nice.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with some friends, and we had a nice experience overall. We decided to try the shrimp garlic noodles, which were flavorful. The shrimp pieces were my favorite. I also ordered their beef pho, and the broth wasn't quite to my personal taste and wasn't as flavorful. Next time I come here I want to try some of their other menu items. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Artesia Square Plaza and has plenty of parking spaces available. They also have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available

The new go-to viet fushion spot and a gem of a place for the South Bay! Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors are spot on. So good that I forgot to take pictures of all the food and just went to town with my friends. Order: 2 bowls of pho, oxtail fried rice, chicken wings, pink petal Food was solid. The oxtail fried rice had crispy bits of rice that really added to the texture. it also came with a side of fish sauce to add for extra flavor. Chicken wings had a strong fish sauce smell and taste, which I enjoyed and added lots of flavor. The pho was light and a good base to customize. Bonus that the noodle refills are free. Overall, super yum!

4.5 rounding up There's plenty of parking in this strip mall area and service was friendly and prompt. We were seated within minutes and they took our order fairly quickly. It looks like a standard restaurant with booth and table seating. It is fairly casual too. Now my favorite was the pho filet mignon. The pho was soooo good and flavorful I barely had to add any hoisin sauce or chili oil to it. The beef was super tender and practically melted in my mouth. The calamari was good, could have been a little less chewy but overall pretty good and the sauce with the veggies elevated this side dish. The cheddar fries were a no go for me. I really wanted to love it but it just wasn't there for me, maybe it was the powdered cheese instead of regular creamy cheese? I thought that the calamari sweet sauce was better with the fries than the three dips. But overall, I would definitely go back with a bigger appetite because the pho has unlimited noods!

Honestly, the service stood out more than the food. I ordered the house special wings, crispy rolls, filet mignon pho, and the oxtail fried rice plus a Vietnamese iced coffee. The pho stood out the most. More than one staff member was very friendly and welcoming and offered me water and a seat as I waited for my take out order. The ambiance is very attractive and nice and the place is certainly popular. Come early or it will be very difficult to find parking.

This place bills itself as Vietnamese - Peruvian fusion which sounds like and odd concept unless you've tried El Pollo Inca which has menu items that looks somewhat similar. NAM is more pho centric and most diners were enjoying the soup, but of course we didn't try that. We tried 2 steak and noodle dishes plus a shrimp and noodle dish. All were very good. For appetizers we had chicken wings and cucumber salad. The salad was very basic cucumber with a sauce that was a good complement with a sneaky spicy kick on the back end. The chicken wings were the best Asian - Korean/ Japanese included - that I've eaten in a long time. Service is polite but a bit sparse which may have been due to staffing level as much as cultural norms - you may have to flag down server to get a check. Parking was tight at 6 ish on a Sunday night, but it's there. Atmosphere is modern Asian I guess. Decidedly not Denny's-like, but not neighborhood Chinese Japanese vibe either. Music playing was modern up beat to high beat stuff. Coffee is a tricky choice. I got a taro coffee which by virtue of sweetness and texture may have been a better dessert. My partner got the Saigon coffee which she said might keep her up past midnight but was really good as well.

Overall I enjoyed the food quality and menu variety here that felt more modern than a traditional pho shop. The broth is more flavorful than most in this area though not quite as flavorful as the top local favorite Saigon Dish. I do think it was high quality though. Side dishes like Egg rolls and spicy wontons were solid and I would order again. I got the chicken pho on a different visit. Note that it's still their house beef broth not chicken broth, but they swap the beef for chicken slices. They were extremely generous with the protein, however I found the chicken to be way too dry and couldn't finish. Wish they used dark meat. The coconut matcha drink was good, but price was steep at $6 Service is quick and friendly and they even offer extra portions of noodle if you like. Pay via QR code in the receipt. Parking was a bit difficult during prime hours.

A couple meals in and assuredly the best pho yet! It comes in multiple iterations depending on your beef cut preference (chicken available too) and I've been consistently impressed by the more al dente rice noodles and copious amount of high quality brotein. The star, of course, is the broth not only for its vibrant savory notes, but also herbaceous tones from the star anise/fennel/clove to deepen the flavor profile. One of the very few that needs no sriracha and/or hoisin whatsoever and the avoidance of MSG is most welcome as well. The bold and juicy house chicken wings, intensely garlicky garlic noodles, and crispy rolls are all similarly derricious. And for fans of Chinese spicy wonton, Chef Nam's version actually has a deeper spice than any other version to date. The spacious and modern ambiance is a welcome change of pace to traditional pho spots and service has been consistently friendly and attentive.

NAM Kitchen is a modern Vietnamese eatery serving up some of the best Viet food in the South Bay! This spot is located in a pretty busy food plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 8pm and there was about a 25 min wait. Inside, they have a spacious modern interior with lots of seating. As for their menu, they have a unique selection of different appetizers, rice dishes, pho dishes, and drinks. Wifey and I opted to try the Pho Dac Biet, Oxtail Fried Rice, Nam's Spicy Wontons, and the June Lemon Drink. Everything we had was beyond flavorful with comforting yet innovative flavors. Overall, I would definitely recommend putting this spot first on your list if you are in the area! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Right now, they are not taking reservations so I would plan accordingly to put your name down on the waitlist in person. We will definitely be back!

Food is the bomb! We ordered Cajun Prawn Garlic Noodles and Filet Mignon Pho and it's really good. You don't need to add sauce to get the flavor! We also ordered Coconut Matcha and Taro coffee and both are really gooooood. Love the taro coffee - it like taro ice cream on Vietnamese coffee. Location got ample parking space. Staff are friendly. Presentation is good. Price is fair and good amount of serving. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

NAM Vietnamese Kitchen still has a limited menu in its early months. I was told they plan to expand the menu in the coming months. Also, they are waiting for approval of their liquor license, which sometimes takes a while. The main entrée offered here is phở, each variety using a bone broth, and an offer of 'no limit' complimentary refills of noodles. The Pho Filet Mignon had rice noodles, strips of filet mignon beef, and vegetables. There was an option to have a 'shaken' style, with wok-seared meat on the side, but I didn't think it added much. The normal phờ was fine, just it was. There are a couple of non-phờ items. The Tiger Prawn Garlic Noodles were the most visually appealing, with grilled prawns, vegetables, and garlic noodles. It wasn't a large portion, but perhaps the best-tasting item on the menu. The Oxtail Fried Rice combined oxtail with rice for a dish that I don't see at too many places. The appetizers never missed. Cucumber Salad, Garlic Salt Calamari, Chicken Wings, and Spicy Wontons were all excellent. Service has always been good. A small parking lot for the shopping plaza has always had open parking spaces.

NAM Kitchen is located in a plaza that it shares with other spots like Aloha Pizza, The Tossup, and Pita 360. Parking is hassle-free, with plenty of spots available.
