The 10 Best Restaurants In Gatwick Airport
"Perfect for: a cheeky Nando’s (and anyone who likes their home comforts)
Real peri-peri heads know that the Nando’s in Gatwick is the only outpost of the Portuguese chain in the UK and Ireland that serves a breakfast menu. And it’s decent. The chicken benedict is a little sloppy, but still our go-to whenever we’re flying out of the South Terminal. Sliced bolo do caco gets topped with sweet chilli jam, spinach, chicken in a peri-peri hollandaise, and spicy salt-dusted poached eggs. The pancakes are pretty good, too. Other than serving those breakfast items, it looks like a Nando’s and operates like a Nando’s. Ask for a seat at the back with a view of planes, sink into banquette seating, and take comfort in the familiar." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing, daisy meager
