A dream restaurant brought to life. Napier Quarter has been on my list for what feels like forever, and after seeing their post about the new addition to the menu, spaghetti alla chitarra, vongole, I finally had the perfect excuse to visit.
I originally planned to walk in, but FOMO won. I called the morning of, and even though they were nearly fully booked, they squeezed us into a small corner of the bar. Honestly — it was the best seat in the house.
From the moment we stepped in, the staff were warm and welcoming. Our bartender made us feel like regulars, constantly checking in and chatting with us. Sitting at the bar meant we had the best view of the kitchen and the drink prep, which added to the entire experience.
We started with the focaccia — a thick, fluffy slab fresh from the oven, served with olive oil and balsamic. Absolutely heavenly. We also ordered the charcuterie plate, which featured three different cured meats sliced to order. Perfection.
Of course, we both went for the main event: the Spaghetti alla Chitarra, Vongole. The chef himself delivered the bowls to us, and it was every bit as beautiful and satisfying as I’d hoped — the portion, the flavour, the texture… it was exactly what a pasta dish should be.
To finish, we shared their brownie topped with flaky sea salt — rich, balanced, and the ideal final bite.
The interior design is honestly everything. Cozy, warm, unfussy — yet perfectly curated. If I ever designed my own home, Napier Quarter would be the blueprint. I adored being in that space, and I’d come back in a heartbeat.
