The 16 Best Ice Cream Spots In London - London - The Infatuation

"Nardulli, a gelateria in Clapham, is busy all year-round. The flavours range from a nutty pistachio, to a rich coffee gelato that’ll keep you alert for the next six hours. Of the sorbets, the tart raspberry is our go-to and a scoop of mango alongside it adds a nice sweetness. Grab a table outside for excellent people-watching, or head inside the bright, quaint spot with group-friendly benches." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager

Nardulli - Review - Clapham - London - The Infatuation

"The best way to measure the popularity of a gelato shop isn’t necessarily by how many people queue up when it’s scorching hot outside. It’s more telling how many people hover around when it’s a little more chilly. At Nardulli, a gelateria in Clapham, you’ll find a buzz even in December. The flavours range from a nutty pistachio, to a rich coffee gelato that’ll keep you alert for the next six hours. Of the sorbets, the tart raspberry is our go-to and a scoop of mango alongside it adds a nice sweetness. The Best Ice Cream in London | Where to Eat Ice Cream Gelato and Sorbet | Eater London

"Summer’s official starting-gun isn’t swallows or the clocks going forward — it’s the first cone of creamy fig gelato from Nardulli, eaten on Clapham Common before the grass gets obliterated by the South West Four stage. The decor at Lorenzo Nardulli’s parlour is definitely no frills, but the ornate tubs of traditional liquorice, Bacio and coffee have a grandeur all of their own. Also available are affogati, ornate ice-cream cakes and waffles. When it‘s sunny the line stretches most of the way back to the tube station; go now while the weather’s still making its mind up." - Emma Hughes

Google
I’m obsessed with this place! Incredible gelato, great service. For me they are so precious because of their coffee ice cream: it is a rare flavour, and some places where you can find it often add chocolate chip - which I find wrong and not complementing the flavour. Coffee ice cream is heavenly with coffee beans in it - and Nardulli do exactly that! Great choice of ice cream and sorbets. It’s always full and queue-y, there are a few tables in and outside.

Wow! I loveeee this place! I found out about it on Tiktok and all I can say is I’ll 1000% be back! The staff are sooo nice & they have excellent customer service, very polite & helpful. I got the Pistachio & Salted Caramel ice creams which were THE BEST ice cream I’ve ever had in my life😍. It’s so rich in flavour and so authentic, I will definitely be back! So amazing😍😍, 100/10!!

Google
Swing by Nardulli near Clapham Common for gelato that lives up to the hype! Just a 5-minute stroll from Clapham Common Station and the park, it’s the perfect spot for a grab-and-go treat. I went for their famous pistachio paired with black cherry which were both creamy, fresh, and bursting with flavor for £5.35, a steal for homemade gelato in London. The queue was long, as expected for a sunny day, but the speedy staff kept it moving fast. Grab your scoop and head to the Common for a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend for Clapham visitors or locals craving a sweet escape—just brace for the line and enjoy the treat!

Google
So incredibly friendly. Huge choice of stunning authentic gelato. This afternoon, I noticed there was no queue (can get super busy especially weekends) so took my chance and sat outside with a delicious affogato (espresso with stracciatella) … lovely and hot today, felt like I was on holiday in Puglia.

Google
Delightful service, wonderful flavours and a huge range of options! They have fig!! I will go back and try the fig. This time I had black cherry and pistachio, and another one of us had Tiramisu - they were all incredible.

Google
Brr brrr brrrrr, chilly chilly chilly. The pistachio was so creamy and light. The caramel was yummy and smooth. I just wanted to go back and shout "MORE, GIVE ME MORE" but that would have been very rude.

Google
Delicious gelato flavours and attentive and speedy service despite the long line on a hot day in Clapham. Highly recommend if you're in the area

Google
Delicious gelato! Scoops are large and definitely worth the price. Lots of flavour options and each flavour you can really taste

Yelp
Very good ice cream place, probably one of the best I had in London. I had a cone with Pistachio and Figs and they were both really good. On a Sunny day there may be obviously quite a long line but it runs quite quickly.

Yelp
Super sweet & tiny hole-in-the-wall gelato shop, just a short walk from Clapham Common station. Since the pandemic, they've started to only accept card payments, and the interior- small though it was to begin with- is no longer available; but with the park right across the street, you've got plenty of space in which to enjoy your high-quality dessert. Who cares about the space, really? The question is: Is it good? The answer is: Hell yes it is! They have a pretty sizable array of gourmet flavors available, from your typical Tiramisu to Pistachio, and Salted Caramel to Fig, (with some difficult-to-pronounce ones that I won't even try to remember). All are amazing! I got myself a smooth & decadent coffee-flavored scoop on a cone for £3.50, and let me tell you, I've rarely had better. The texture is everything you could want from gelato, with that rich thickness you can only get from the good stuff; these guys must have spent years honing their craft. The taste was legit, as well, with a smooth, yet robust coffee flavor that lingers on your tongue without leaving that burnt-coffee aftertaste. Speaking of good java, they also serve coffee here. While I didn't have any, myself, I could tell from the delicious aroma, that they're probably serving that up properly, too. I would give this place 5 stars for the quality of the gelato alone, but the whole "card-only" policy is beginning to wear thin on my patience, as there are plenty of shops still using cash, and they're fine. I would understand if the people serving your gelato were the same ones ringing you up, but when I was there, they had a guy in charge of doing that while the other staff members attended to customers. Still, most people in this city like the convenience of only using cards, so that may not even be a problem for you. I highly recommend this place, either way. Just get ready for a queue.

Yelp
Probably the best ice cream in Clapham right now, 95% chance! Loads of flavours and around £4.80 for two scoops. Literally every single one is delicious. There will be a line but it moves fast don't worry!

Yelp
Great stop for some of the best gelato in London. Try the chocolate that puts other chocolate-ish ice creams to shame.

Yelp
You know when someone tells you this is the goddamn best gelato place in London.. Believe them! It really is!!! Aaaaaaah so yummy and located right across from the Common, so you can sit in the sun and devour your treat. I've tried a few flavours when I've been, as I'm never sure what to order and the staff have never been shy to provide me with tasters.. Such a nice touch, as how are you mean to decide when there is so much choice.. Price wise it's good at £2.70 for one scoop or an extra pound for 2 scoops, I really don't think you can complain! They even take card for low spends too.. Double bonus for them plastic people like me. I always get the hazelnut and it's just to die for.. So rich and nutty.. Mmm it melts in the mouth! Damn I live the dream every time I go! Literally if I were you.. I'd hotfoot it over on the tube right now and get a scoop or two.. It'll be the best decision you EVER make!!

Yelp
It was a baking hot summer's day, After dining at Mama Lan, Jules H and I wandered up the road to Nardulli for some needed internal air conditioning Nardulli do great homemade Italian ice cream. They have stuck to conventional flavours and they offer the chance to mix flavours. We went for 2 flavour small cups at £2.80 each, which was generous enough My favourite was a zingy lemon sorbet, which was complemented by the sweeter mango. Jules's cherry was also full of fruit flavour It's a good way to celebrate a rare hot day - eating Nardulli's ice cream in the sun on the common

Yelp
Delicious Italian Gelato, with a great range of flavours, some alcoholic. Also coffee and custom-made cakes can be ordered. A little pricey - a single scoop is as much as £2.10, but it's generous and they'll even let you sample and split flavours! Defnitely worth it for the discerning ice cream lover who doesn't mind spending a little more for quality (applies to me!) It's a lovely little shop with tables inside and out with a lovely white decor - they're fans of whipped cream!

Yelp
Lovely ice cream parlor on clapham common, just around the corner from the cinema. In particular check out the Cardamom flavor, delicious!

Yelp
A great place in Clapham to get wonderful, tasty ice creams! Just two minutes away from Clapham Common Tube station and facing the park, they offer lots of different flavours at a reasonnable price (£3 for a large cup). You can even get bix boxes to get ice cream home. Open late during the weekends and the staff is awesome!

Yelp
Amazing ice cream! My girlf and I travelled round Europe for 3 months last summer and certainly had our fill of ice cream but we both concluded that this is some of the best we've ever had anywhere. 20 odd flavours, all delicious, £2.50 for a "small" cup or cone which has always been plenty for me and you can have two different flavours. My personal faves are Pistachio or Choc Orange. Very handy for the Clapham Picture house too if you fancy some great quality ice cream with your film rather than their overpriced in house stuff. Amazingly friendly guy who runs it too.

Yelp
oh heaven in a cone oh this is a great ice cream parlour opposite the paddling pool on the common. Everyday they have fresh home made ice cream, my favourite being the pistachio or hazelnut. They are happy to let you try flavours and you can eat in. It is a very popular place open 7 days a week Beware of the Queues in summer its very popular

Yelp
Very good ice cream, a proper italian taste (made by italian people). This is a new opened shop in Clapham, close to the tube station (few steps before if you are coming from Clapham old town). Is a bit aseptic, that's not necessarily a bad thing! The cone is not the best I've ever had but the ice cream is very well done. A lot of flavours, very nice staff, and Illy coffee. The good place for a nice, quick break!

Yelp
Best gelato in SW London and possibly top 5 in the city. Flavours always interesting and seem to change quite a bit but always has the classics. Worth a trip out if you're not living in the area and nice location right by the common and Old Town.

Yelp
THANK YOU SIR CAN I HAVE ANOTHER! What a great neighborhood spot. I love to bring visitors from the States here after an enjoyable dinner at one of Clapham Old Town or High Street restaurants. This little gem really takes brings the BOOM on tastiness. The flavors or bold and spot on. I can't recommend enough. I wish I would have never tried this place but it's too good to pass up. Great to grab for the walk home through the Common.

Yelp
The best ice cream I've had in London so far! This place tastes italian, feels italian and is right by Clapham Common... A must-try on Sunny days! Best of - bag a box of your selection of ice cream to bring home and freeze! Yes, pricey...but once in a while, why not? 4 stars? Well, not quite yet the Berthillon of Paris but frankly, not too far off if they start adding some more flavours in!

Yelp
Some people have said that this Gelateria is expensive.......but I think for good ice cream it is very reasonable.I bought an £11.50 take out box (medium) and they pack the ice cream in a polystyrene container and when I got home it was still frozen.I had 3 flavours in that box! The quality is superb, best in London so far.Makes Marine ices look like a Mr.Whippy van.
