"Naudi’s is a thin-crust spot in Lincoln Park, and the pizza here shares some DNA with a Neapolitan pie. It’s cooked in a wood-fired oven, the cheese in the center is almost liquidy, and the slices droop nicely when you pick them up. But the edge of the crust is crunchy like a cracker, which creates an enjoyable contrast with the soft center. You have three pies to choose from (a margherita, a white, and a square pan) and about eight toppings to choose from. But thanks to basil, a wonderful four-cheese blend, and rich sauces on both, even a plain pie is really flavorful." - adrian kane, veda kilaru, john ringor

This is the kind of pizza that is best eaten right from the oven, so we suggest getting it for dine-in. photo credit: Kim Kovacik" - Adrian Kane

"This tiny Neapolitan pizzeria is found inside a tiny space where Lincoln Park and Lakeview meet. This is BYO, no-frills spot that doesn’t have much of an online presence, but that shouldn’t stop pizza fans from stopping by." - Ashok Selvam

Google
I think this pizza is good but nothing special. The crust lacks flavor. Overall I would say it’s not super flavorful. also the pizza that had pesto on it had trickles on some pieces. Try to find them in the pic. Definitely better places in the city

Google
Naudi’s has good pizza that will scratch the itch. I think overall the pizza is good, I wouldn’t say it blows me away but definitely a slice that will satisfy your pizza cravings. I liked the dough they use, it tastes very rustic - almost like a sourdough. The cheese was a bit rubbery but a healthy portion. The one thing that did it for me was the very low amount of sauce they put on it. It more felt like cheesy bread than pizza without it. The ambiance was a little sad I will say, not a place you’d go for a pizza date. Overall, if you want late night pizza, this might be the spot for you.

Google
We ordered chicken wrap and they began to cook the meat in a regular frying pan right in front of us. The cook at first tried to hide his actions turning back to us, it was cooked in a hurry and not fried well. They didn’t even try to cut the pieces of meat, they just poured a huge amount of sauce in and of course it fell apart. We left after eating only half and we don’t recommend coming here again after such attitude towards customers. They also have a terrible situation with the restroom. They said to walked right through the kitchen, where the other cook was standing practically next to the toilet door and he was cutting meat there, I was shocked

Google
Delicious pizza. And, to top it all off, the honey cake is absolutely delicious!

Google
Ordered via Door Dash so I understand there are quality issues with delivery but the pizza was greasy and the “fresh salad” was not crisp lettuce with just onions. It came with the salad dressed already. Delivery and take out salads should always have dressing on the side. The lettuce was mixed greens unlike the image on the website and there was a bunch of toppings, not simple. Whatever the salad was dressed with tasted like water and just made the salad wilted.

OMG did this place close down? I went here once and loved it. Unfortunately I live a little further south so It would be a 25min drive, not too bad. Shoot, I don't want this to be closed, I was just telling my family about how we should visit. The crust on the pizza was perfect the flavor was great nothing I can say bad about this place accept its uber small, they need a little more room.

Google
We decided to check this place out because of all the good reviews, and we were not disappointed! The pizza was very delicious and you can taste that it is freshly made (worth the wait!). We ordered the square pizza then added mushrooms, garlic, and pepperoni. We'll definitely be back to try the honey cake with tea. The ambiance was cozy and relaxed. Also BYOB!

Google
Excellent margarita pizza! Every bite tasted identical to the previous. Perfect dough, cheese, sauce ratio. Would recommend hot honey as a topping.

Penny B.

Yelp
We had the veggie pizza here because I heard good things about the place. I thought the pizza was pretty decent but probably not the best one in the city. The cheese pull was INSANE! They make the pizza right when ordering so comes out nice and hot! The restaurant is pretty small with just a handful of tables. I think I would go here again if I'm in the area but probably wouldn't go there out of my way.

Yelp
Have always passed Naudi and finally had the chance to try it! I love how you can see the pizza being created and the restaurant has a cozy vibe inside. My friend and I shared the white pizza fiesta and it felt very light and fresh! Our server was also super sweet and attentive. Definitely want to try the honey cake next time!

Sarah P.

Yelp
Food - the pizza was phenomenal. Super thin. You can eat a whole pie and not feel stuffed because the crust was very light and thin. Not a large menu but it's tasty. Service was friendly and we came again the next day and they remembered us and said welcome back. It's BYOB with a $5 fee. Ambiance is dark and cozy.

Yelp
So my husband and I have decided after reading Chicago magazine's top 25 pizza places, that we would try to taste every pizza place listed. Naudi signature pizza was our second pizza restaurant on the list. OMG OMG OMG! is all I can say about this tiny hole in the wall pizza place with one waiter and one person making the pizzas. We had an incredibly attentive, friendly and kind waiter who told us he was Belorussian. We were brought water in a big glass bottle and it was a cozy tiny space. Our waiter did a great job of describing the different types of pizza and we opted for the Margo and the square pan pizza. When the Margo arrived, (we added mushroom and onion to it), the pizza was HUGE! We thought we wouldn't be able to finish it. The waiter told us we would have no problem and that it was a very light pizza. He was spot on and we all finished our two slices in literally 5 minutes. (There were four of us so the pizzas split perfectly) I thought there is no way that the next pizza could be as good as the first and lo and behold, it was. We added garlic and bell pepper to the square pan pizza which was thicker and crunchier than the Margo. Everything about these pizzas was perfect and we laughed at just how quickly we devoured everything in front of us. We also shared the fresh salad to start and the waiter kindly made enough so it was shareable for four. The lettuce and salad ingredients were nicely chopped and it was topped with a great dressing. We ended with the honey cake which had a tiramisu consistency. The waiter told us that the creamy layers of the honey cake were a mixture of condensed milk and butter milk. This was absolutely delicious! We loved this place and could not get over the deliciousness of this pizza. You must check this place out before there are lines out the door!

Yelp
I was expecting so much more and some of the experience actually left me quite irritated. I would like to give it a second shot perhaps one day when I'm ready. Maybe it was an off night? The service was wildly slow, despite my party of two being the only people in the restaurant. They seemed very sweet though. We were recommended the pan style pizza, which was just fine. It's a decent pizza, but there are so many better pizza places in Chicago. I found the crust *almost* not baked well enough. Lastly, no honey cake was available, which was like half of the reason we went, as we heard it was incredible. The menu is so limited, and when we discovered this AFTER we had eaten our pizza, we were quite irritated. I understand items sometimes sell out, but to not communicate that to customers--like on the menu chalkboard or when taking an order--especially when the menu itself is so limited, is very frustrating.

Melvin C.

Yelp
I'm here all the time as I live nearby. Naudi is a classic, unpretentious, and straightforward pizza place with an open-fired oven and kitchen and a quaint seating area inside. The list of toppings is small and compact, as it should be. The ingredients are high-quality. I love their classic cheese slice with the little dollops of ricotta. I wish there was more consistency with their slice offerings at different times of the day. I love grabbing a slice when I get off the train from work, and sometimes, they don't have any ready. Besides that minor inconvenience, Naudi gets a 4.8/5 (rounding up to 5) from me.

Rob G.

Yelp
This location has seen a series of pizza joints but this iteration has staying power. Ordered a regular pie and pan pie for takeaway and arrived a little early for pick-up. Glad I did as it was entertaining to watch the master pizza maker do his thing right by the cashier. He was amazing - building pizzas from scratch, watching the ovens and boxing cooked pizzas all at the same time. I didn't see him miss a beat keeping track of at least 8 orders at one time. The pizza itself is a home run and a must try! Thin, crispy and full of flavor. The crispy crunch of the crust is a welcome end to a slice. Absolutely go here!

vernon c.

Yelp
This was my first time visiting here after hearing thru the pizza circles how good this spot is and I can say I wasn't disappointed. I had the pan style which is thin but with a nice crunch but not overly hard. The cheese, sauce, mushrooms and onions were are all flavorful and was a perfect combination. I will be back for sure.

Nolan F.

Yelp
We tried: 1. Margo pizza 2. Square pan pepperoni pizza 3. Honey cake Instantly one of my favorite pizza spots in Chicago. Loved the crispy soft texture of the crust and the crust-cheese-sauce ratio. Good amount of fresh basil on the pizza. The cheese blend was fresh, gooey, and tasty. I can't really describe the honey cake's flavor profile except to say that it doesn't taste exactly as sweet as honey and I highly recommend trying it too. I'm all for a limited menu if you excel at it. There should be more restaurants like this. Service was good. The restaurant space is small and intimate so bring a small group for indoor dining.

Lucas W.

Yelp
It was good. That location has had a lot of restaurant turnover as we used to live next door and I hope Naudi finally provides some stability to the location because the pizza is worth reordering. Perhaps not super frequently as it's a bit pricier, but love the massive oven that imparts flavor to the pizza. We got a simple pepperoni pizza to keep it simple and it was very good. Sauce had a good flavor to it, quite thin crust. I don't always love the wide/puffy burnt crust at the end of a piece, which is their style but the part of the pizza covered with sauce, cheese, toppings was great.

Daniel M.

Yelp
Got a margo pizza for takeout - overall a great pizza! Thin crust with all the fundamentals. Perfect ratio of cheese sauce and crust. Dont come here expecting a really thick pizza or deep dish. Very light pizza as well that made not feel like death afterwards. Takeout experience was very easy. Only wish I had dined in and had it hot!

Aleah H.

Yelp
Such a cozy spot for pizza!! Admittedly kind of pricey ($40 for a pizza and cake), but we really enjoyed it as a treat! Loved the square pan pizza - The crispy cheese and crust was awesome, and the crust overall was a great texture. Big fan. The sausage was also super flavorful, and I loved how much basil it came with! The honey cake was also awesome - Almost like a cheesecake essence, but so unique and yummy. Definitely look forward to it again in the future!

Anusha J.

Yelp
Perfect fall vibes at this cozy pizza place! Had the best margerita pizza. It was quite a busy night but the wait staff was so kind and nice. Really nice to see the pizza being made next to the dining area. The honey cake is a must have!! it was the perfect not so sweet cake (ifykyk)

Amy L.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place. Unfortunately, they use a 3rd party delivery service that never delivered our pizza. Perhaps worth trying if you pick up or dine in. We will never know, since our delivery driver apparently ate 2 large pizzas and then didn't answer his phone. Until Naudi gets delivery in house, it's a pass.

Jose C.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place ever since they opened. If they have margherita pizzas, count me in! The guys here are great. Super kind and very welcoming. I watched them check on my pizza in the oven, and they won't bring it out until they until it's perfect. So I ordered their Thin Margo Pizza. Their Margherita pizza. It's a simple as you can get, but still very full of flavors. It cost $22, which is honestly a little high for a margherita pizza, so it's important that they get it done right. A pizza with red sauce topped with four cheeses and once complete, they lay some fresh basil leaves on top. The crust was perfect as the rest of the pizza was. I would say I can definitely see my self returning more if they were open for lunch. But unfortunately they don't open until 5pm everyday.

Yelp
Summary: amazing pizza at an intimate restaurant for dates and close friends Really cute inside - also BYOB!! There's only a handful of tables so be prepared that it fills up fast and there's not a bar or standing room if you wanted to wait. Service was good but clear that the staff is super busy prepping the food so you might need to flag them down if you need something. Pizza came out fresh and delicious AF - the classic style was super lovely and crispy but def wet enough that you might need to fork and knife it a little. The other 'za was fricking amazing, very similar to a Detroit style but not quite as thick. Sucker for that thicker cut and it was super great texture - crispy but still soft. Ingredients were all really fresh and appreciated the generous amount of basil.

Erica B.

Yelp
Cute little spot right by the Diversey brown line stop. We went in the winter so had to sit inside, but the inside was super cute although I wish I could've seen the pizza oven from my seat. We got the Feta Salad, and White Pizza, and the Honey cake for two people and had two slices leftover (so I would say it was the perfect amount). The Feta salad was good - lots of feta. On the pizza we got sausage and onions and it was pretty good, but next time I would probably try the pepperoni instead. The Honey Cake was fantastic! It felt like I was eating a sweet cloud!

Sarah P.

Yelp
This place is truly a gem. Super simple ordering process. Four types of bases and you just choose the toppings. Sometimes all you need in life is just pizza and that's what they got - plus a salad just in case and also a dessert. But the main focus is the pizza. Large, light, and the toppings were great quality and super fresh. GET the hot sauce and basil - they're made fresh in house and nothing beats it. The basil is even growing in the window. The dining atmosphere was simple and clean with the addition of a banging 80s playlist. This pizza was really good.

Audrey P.

Yelp
I loved this place! We went in on a Thursday at 7pm, only one table taken. Brought a bottle of red and ordered the square pizza. Pizza was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh basil and the crust was fantastic. Atmosphere was great. Honey cake is a must try. Overall would highly recommend and we will be back!

Dr. Jesú E.

Yelp
I ordered food for a Bring Chicago Home house party last Thursday. Everything was amazing! But, we loved the jalapeno mushroom pizza. We will definitely be ordering from here again for future events.

Brynn D.

Yelp
Love byob and the pizza is so good. Perfect for date night. Everyone who works there is nice and the servers aren't over the top enthusiastic which is good.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
This is a charming little hole in the wall with a small menu and wonderful food. It only has a few tables so it fills up quickly. The menu is very small with three types of pizza and you choose your own toppings. They also have a delicious salad and an incredible not too sweet honey cake. I highly recommend going here again and again.

Aimee S.

Yelp
SO GOOD!! Service was so nice and personal, pizza was amazing and authentic. Surrounding area is okay but the ambiance inside the restaurant is what really makes it feel like home. 12/10!!

Zarema N.

Yelp
It was my first visit to Naudi Signature Pizza,i went there with my friends, and we ordered a Margo pizza, Feta salad and Honey cake. Everything was so delicious. Atmosphere was also good! We had a great time enjoying pizza with my friends.

Nick G.

Yelp
Excellent thin crust pizza ! If you are looking for a Italian style thin crust , I think this is the best in Chicago . I don't live close by, but whenever in downtown I make a Detour and pick up a couple of pies to take home

Emma L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Naudi for awhile and since I don't know when I'll be in the neighborhood, I ordered it for delivery. OMG. I think this might be my new favorite pizza spot in Chicago.

Steve O.

Yelp
Somewhat of an odd experience here, server, who was fairly charming in a good-natured way, talked us out of the ordering the square pie explaining that people, "come for the round." At the end of the meal, he told us that he had never, "prior to a few moments ago," actually tried the square pie, that his manager had made him one, and that it's the superior pizza. He did this, however, with such self-effacing grace, that we couldn't be mad. Whole place is tough to pin down, seems like it's a Eurasian crew who decided they wanted to open Lucali Midwest, and I guess their vision includes a pot of Turkish tea visibly brewing behind the counter, which we were served with our honey cake, which, though the staff will boast is a must-try, you can probably skip. Pizza's pretty decent, though. I'm not the biggest fan of Lucali, and I haven't had it in a couple years, but I'd say this is a pretty close approximation and about as good a NYC-ish-style pizza you're going to get in Chicago. I look forward to trying the square.

Sarah M.

Yelp
MUST TRY! We live around the corner and finally tried this pizza! It's so so good! We got the square cheese pizza and the came with basil that I added! Right level of crunchy for the crust and was really good! We got the salad as well which was also good. We will definitely be back!

Mary C.

Yelp
Blown away by Naudi! Hidden gem! First let me say that the service here was incredible, the kindest people! The pizza was beyond anything we've had - def try the pan, our favorite! A sweeter taste with more sauce. All pizzas are four cheese with lots of basil too. Really enjoyed green sauce. Would also recommend some tea and light fluffy honey cake after din! Run don't walk! About to become a regular here!

Alan G.

Yelp
So avoid Naudi pizza. Here's what happened with my first order with them: -The pizza was picked up from the restaurant on time, but in the driver's possession for over 40 minutes. -When it was delivered, the driver didn't ring the bell, just left it outside on the stoop. -I called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. There isn't one, just an owner, who doesn't bother showing up to the restaurant until after 10:00. -Neither the restaurant nor the third party delivery service (Slice) would give a full refund. Maybe the pizza is good, but there's plenty of good pizza in the area. Don't go to this place.

Hetal P.

Yelp
Naudi is hands down the best pizza joint in chicago, don't @ me. The team here knows what they're doing and they're down right good people. Friendly, humble and incredibly welcoming . I'd come here on happy days , sad days and everything in between. The Margo pizza is insane - best thin crust I've had. I'm not usually a fan of thicker square pizza but the one at Naudis is super crispy and delicious. It's BYOB so grab your wine and beer and head over to enjoy one of the best pizza dinners you'll have!

Rima S.

Yelp
Amazing costumer service ! And great pizza. The thin crust was DELICIOUS! Solid thin crust pizza! The pan pizza was sweeter and good but thin was better I think. ALSO THE PEPPERONI IS HALAL HERE

Ale P.

Yelp
First time going here and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly we got the Margo pizza and it was good. Clean spot and fast service.

Sarah K.

Yelp
HIGHLY recommend this cute pizza place in Lincoln Park 10/10! I had the square pan pizza, with pepperoni and fresh basil. The pepperoni is halal beef (for those who eat halal, it's amazing!). It was super fresh and delicious. The owner was very kind and offered great service. He gave me some Turkish tea as well on the house. A perk is also that there is free parking in the back alley behind the restaurant. It's lovely and cozy inside aDefinitely check Naudi out ASAP!

Austin S.

Yelp
I've lived in Chicago for 10 years and this is my favorite pizza place. The pizza is honestly incredible and leaves you full but not heavy. It's become a baseline and comparison to when I eat other pizzas...But the other equally best part is... It's a smaller, local, neighborhood-focused joint. They even do a "family dinner night" at the restaurant with the cooks once a week. Here's a true story. My fiancé dad's hobby is pizza as they have a tradition of eating it every Friday. He has a custom state-of-the-art pizza oven, makes his own dough, has experimented with countless yeasts, and has visited Italy to "improve his craft." I gave the owner, Daniel, a heads up a big pizza enthusiast was visit us and we were going to take him here next time. When we came in he remembered, threw new logs into the oven, came up with recommendations, and then made pizzas himself. The roasted garlic on the pan pizza and green sauce on the Margo was *chef's kiss* Her dad was asking for recipes and tips by the end of the night and Daniel was happy to share. Eat this pizza. Amazing product and owner who actually cares at the forefront.

Daniel D.

Yelp
Very good pizza by the slice. Fresh sauce and super crispy. Very tasty slice. I want to try a full pizza next time.

J B.

Yelp
Too many better options nearby such as Piece, Pequads, Coal Fire, Barbary's. The brick oven looks promising, quaint space. Salad mix was generic, undistingushable. Toppings were standard. If your pizza calories are preciously fe and far between then move along.

Dillon L.

Yelp
In my honest and sincere opinion, the pizza had so much potential to be great, until there was cut up hot dogs on my pizza. Not impressed by the sausage pizza by any means. Server was nice tho.

Kelley G.

Yelp
favorite pizza in the city - love the thin crust style and flavor is great - recommend every time

Antionette P.

Yelp
Wow this is some awesome pizza! They make the pizza in a brick oven and it has a nice thin crispy crust. I had the Margo it was good on it's own, but adding the basil leaves on top elevated it to another level. This is certainly now one of my favorite pizza places and I would most definitely return. Unfortunately I ordered to go so I didn't get to experience the pizza frsh out of the oven, but I'm will to be its even better. The pizza menu is very small offering only four pizzas, but they do have a lot of topping options. The inside of the restaurant is intimate and has low lighting. They have a small fire unit by the door and the cooking area with the oven is open and visible to customers. The employees were friendly and it was only a short wait from when I arrived until my order was ready. The restaurant was also very clean. I can't stress it enough I highly recommend this place!

Jim S.

Yelp
Chicago is the land of pizza so it's hard to rise up with the known gems -- but this place -- INSANELY good. I mean, so unique and incredible. Note: I removed the basil in the pic but it allowed the flavor on the pizza which was fantastic!

Jodi O.

Yelp
The pictures says it all. It was so good we ordered a second. The owner was awesome and his staff was so great. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend.

Danny W.

Yelp
Staggeringly good pizza. Feel like it's only a matter of time before the secret is out.

Danielle G.

Yelp
This pizza is perfect! Chewy and crispy crust, super fresh ingredients (I tried a margherita with fresh basil), sauce that's sweet but not acidic... Just a really good balance of everything. The owner, Daniel, was super nice and genuine about making sure we were enjoying our pizza. It's byob (there's a liquor store a couple doors down) with a very laid-back atmosphere. I'm excited to make this part of my regular rotation.

Alex A.

Yelp
The best thin pizza I've ever tried! I've had the veggie pizza twice and tried their calzone and it was delicious as well. The atmosphere in the pizzeria is nice and cozy. Good for a date, friends meeting or even a study night. Great location. On street parking is always available. If you're looking for a good pizza and a pleasant atmosphere go to Naudi! Also, the honey cake and profiteroles were extremely good with the tea Will definitely come again

Ai A.

Yelp
Amazing crusty pizza! Cozy and romantic place with candles and relaxing music! Highly recommend it to everyone !!!

Betsy P.

Yelp
Generally really good pizza; however on our third visit last evening, pizza was quite burned on edges & we were astonished to discover a $5 corkage fee on our bill! Apparently it's noted on the virtual menu, but I've never before seen a corkage fee at a restaurant that is BYOB & has no liquor license. I guess we previously brought beer on our first two visits, so this was an unwelcome surprise!

Irvin R.

Yelp
It's a cute little cozy place. The pizzas are awesome!! We ordered a square pan and added Mushroom and Jalapeño, it taste great and not overly greasy nor spicy. We also ordered Margo pizza. It's also good, very tasty, and the fresh basil really improved the overall taste. It's one of our go to pizza place. The service is also great! I highly recommend!

K W.

Yelp
Blown away by this pizza. Get both thin and pan! Daniel the owner is also so lovely and an incredible host to his restaurant.
