NYC’s New Restaurant Openings

"A new vinyl listening bar, N'Between Bar is in Chelsea Market, and is from the same team behind hand roll spot Maki A Mano. The izakaya serves some Japanese drinking snacks, like yakitori, karaage, and takowasa." - will hartman

Food was so good. Drinks were delightful. Service was IMMACULATE. Went with my girlfriend on a bar crawl weekend trip, Billy & Carlos took such good care of us. It feels like you’re in an anime. The food is delicious, drinks are on point. Just GO!!!

Google
outside measurements, really milky and sweet, pineangle salad, spicy, strong and interesting. anyway, now that I got that out of the way, intimate cool vibes and great for like a casual. get together to have a drink, have the karaoke and it was fried. well, gets pretty packed

Google
This place is very cute, intimate and good vibes. My friend recommended this spot and I was not disappointed. Tasty food and even better drinks. Our server Omar was personable, fun, professional and gave great suggestions on what to order that left me super impressed. The lights are dim, the music is good and its safe to call this a nice gem in NY. I really enjoyed the cabbage. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this spot. Adding it to my favorites! Thank you!

Google
Happened to discover this cool bar while walking around Chelsea Market. So glad we tried the place! The atmosphere and music were immaculate. We got the salmon don, karaage, tots, chicken thigh skewer. The portions are quite small but they all tasted great! We went at around 7pm on a Saturday and it was quite busy. We initially were told that we had to wait 30 mins, but luckily got a spot quite quickly due to a cancelled reservation.

Google
Fun spot where you won't want to stay long unless you're young because the seats are kinda uncomfortable. They're more something you would tie a horse to then opt to actually sit on. Kind of genius for New York where we need to turn tables! Great mocktail. The DIY hand roll dish was fun! We liked the mentaiko Mac n cheese. Decent karaage chicken, fried shrimp and addictive cabbage.

Google
The drinks here are so good! I heard the burgers are good but didn’t get to try it since the kitchen was closed. Will def go again to try the burgers and get more drinks. Every drink was good. Time after time, viewer discretion, blank slate, morning glory, gift from Kyoto.. my fav was morning glory Service is amazing! Sol was so kind and helpful!

Google
Love this spot that is kind of tucked away in a corner of the Chelsea Market. There is an entrance to the bar on the street so you don’t have to go through the market. The bar has a dystopian blade runner like vibe and interior. Drinks are creative and they have different DJs every night according to one of the staff. When we went, it was DJ Mo Drums who played Reggae selections. The music was truly great—I couldn’t believe people weren’t dancing!! On drinks and food, we got one non alcoholic cocktail, blank slate, unruly pear, and karaage. Unruly pear was refreshing without being too sweet. Overall, it’s definitely a cool spot to check out.

Yelp
Wow what a vibe! I stumbled into NYC on a Saturday and had no plans for dinner/night vibes. My group of 5 wandered into NBetween at Chelsea market around 8pm and luckily snagged a spot. Inside has great music and ambiance is a bit dark but still nice. Menu has many delicious sounding drinks. I got the seasonal mango chili salad and wow was it hot! It paired well with the savory food we ordered. We ordered the addictive cabbage (table's fave), eggplant (pass), tater tots (recommend) and the mentai Mac and cheese. I personally liked it for the crumbly and charred bits. The waiters were all super nice, and even the bouncer as well! I could tell they run a great establishment.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place -- the speakeasy vibe is cool, and the Mahalo Halo cocktail was actually great and came out quickly. But unfortunately, the rest of the experience was a huge letdown. We ordered food around 9:30 (karaage, chicken meatball, and chicken thigh yakitori), and by 10:05, we were still sitting there with nothing. No explanation, no updates. We finally flagged down our waitress, who then told us the food order was never even put in. Just a casual "sorry," but honestly, it was incredibly frustrating -- we had been waiting over half an hour for nothing. At that point, the night was kind of ruined. No offer to rush the order or no comp anything. For a place that markets itself as an elevated izakaya experience, this was beyond disappointing. Won't be coming back.

Yelp
Checked out The N Between in NYC and honestly, the vibe here is on point. The lighting is super aesthetic, and one of the coolest parts is they play and mix actual records--it gives the place a unique, chill energy that's perfect for winding down with a couple drinks. We stopped by during happy hour and were told there'd be a wait--ended up being about 40 minutes, which wasn't too bad. Once seated, we ordered the Unruly Pear, which was light, crisp, and had a nice subtle pear flavor--kind of like a highball but elevated. I also tried the Café Café, which is like a Japanese espresso martini--super smooth, with the Haku vodka and Japanese coffee giving it a rich, bold flavor. Food-wise, we shared the flatiron steak (tender and flavorful), the zucchini (surprisingly one of the best table dishes), and the mentaiko mac (just okay--not bad, just not super standout). The only downside is that the lighting made it tough to get good food pics, but it really adds to the whole moody, relaxed vibe. If you can, try to grab seats at the bar--it's fun to watch the bartenders make drinks, and you get the full experience of their attention to detail.

Yelp
Tucked inside Chelsea Market, N'Between is all about the vibes. Dark, cool, with shifting neon lights, def a spot you come for the scene just as much as the drinks. And for the records, though with the noise level, you're not really hearing much That said, I go to bars for the bar food, and this place delivers. The addictive cabbage lives up to its name, light, packed with umami, and dangerously easy to eat Also got the mentaiko mac, which was rich and creamy but could've used more mentaiko flavor. Skewers were solid, though nothing mind-blowing. Drinks were yummy and not spirit-forward Only complain were the seats. They're so thin you're basically just... standing. mentaiko mac $19 chicken meatball skewer $7 chicken thigh skewer $7 addictive cabbage $8* viewer discretion advised $20* morning glory $21 첼시 마켓 안에 숨겨진 바!

Yelp
Blown away. Speechless. Reflecting on an amazing time at N'Between. Juan at the bar, you're a gem! Happy Birthday brother. Wow. Ordered just about everything here. Their cocktail program is special. Had 6+ drinks between my girlfriend and I. Everything was delicious and smartly crafted. The food here is quite insane for 'bar food'. They are operating a full blown kitchen here and its unlike anything i've ever experienced. Will be back again & again to try everything. Note, a little pricy but im okay with that. In my perfect world, everything is $1-2 less.

Yelp
We love the vibe of this place! We sat at the bar near the DJ, and I, Shazam, sang almost every song he played. We were there for happy hour. I got their espresso martini called a cafe cafe, and we tried a few things on the menu. My husband got the highball. The bartenders help each other out and are attentive. We tried raw octopus, shrimp, tempura, and fried chicken from the happy hour menu. I was not a fan of the raw octopus, but my husband liked it. We both like shrimp tempura and fried chicken. We ended our food with the best--the salmon don. I could eat that every day and not be bored. It was cooked to perfection and had the best savory flavor. We will for sure be back.

Yelp
Great new-ish addition to Chelsea Market. A group of 5 of us walked in at around 5:30 PM. We were seated right away and told they would need the table back by 6:30, which suited us fine because we were just grabbing a drink on the way to dinner elsewhere. I ordered the Shiro buko, and had sips of the Morning glory and Beach episode. Really good drinks! Will definitely be back - and would try the food, too.

Yelp
Came here with a friend for a nightcap on a Thursday and had no idea we were walking into such an incredible cocktail bar. Drinks are pricey at $20+ a pop, but I can almost guarantee you won't have a better cocktail anywhere else in the city (and that's really saying something). Service was prompt and welcoming. Ambiance was cool, music was a little loud but I'm old. Our waiter explained the cocktail menu to us, pointing out which drinks were on the more refreshing side vs sweeter side. I went with the Blank Slate, a refreshing cocktail with a touch of wasabi that came through with just the right balance of a kick. My friend got the Thai Mango Salad, one of their most popular cocktails, which was truly a work of art. I've never tasted a cocktail like this before that had such a punch of flavors in just the right way. If you're into cocktails and have deep pockets this is the place.

Yelp
A cute Japanese speakeasy located in Chelsea Market! I came here one evening just for drinks and had a good time. They have a lot of seating in here (although the high-table seats weren't very comfortable) and the vibe is really laid-back with cool neon lights. I just ordered the Viewer Discretion Advised & Quiet Love, which were both so good! Didn't get to try the food but I would love to come back and check it out!

Yelp
Super laid-back and vibey speakeasy. We were in Chelsea Market and decided to get drinks; we were seated immediately although the host told us it was pretty rare to have a walk-in opening for 5 (Saturday around 6pm). The bar is very dim but has a nice retro theme. The menu bar code is on a mini floppy disc thing (idk what it's called I was born in 2001) and the music is chill. The drinks were very strong (which I'm into) and I they felt very creative. I also like how much the presentation differed from drink to drink. My favorite drink of the ones we tried was the Security Blanket, which came in a really cool cup that I wanted to keep. Typical cocktail prices. Overall, nice place hidden away from the chaos of Chelsea Market good for a drink and yapping with your friends.
google avatar

Yelp
Cocktails we tried were great and creative, fun! Skewers were pretty good, the rest of the food mostly fried bites. Cute spot hidden in Chelsea market.
google avatar

Aram L.

Yelp
Cute izakaya place in Chelsea to enjoy a few drinks and snack on some small bites. We walked in without a reservation on a weekend and luckily there was a table available. Service was friendly and I appreciated that my glass of water was always full. We ordered some skewers and tots to enjoy with our cocktails and everything was pretty good. I found the tots particularly very well fried with a great crisp and the sauce it came with paired nicely. It's a small spot that does get busy around dinner. We luckily got there between lunch and dinner so there were some spots but if you're planning on coming at peak times, definitely will need a reservation.

Yelp
Food: 4.5/5 pretty decent food but small portion as you can expect in Izakaya. Tots were amazing, perfectly crumbed and probably one of the best i had in the city service: 5/5 attentive staffs, constantly filling water if the glass was empty Ambiance: 5/5 lighting was good, felt like speakeasy with not too loud music. Overall, very decent bar experience, good for first date or hang w friends. Price can be quite expensive as one skewer was $7. Other small bites were fine though

Yelp
Burger, tots, chicken Everything was amazing, in texture, flavor, presentation. Music was varied and vibbey. Probably best burger I had in a while. Recommended!

Yelp
Very cool bar inside of Chelsea market! The place was very spacious and great spot to hang out with friends or a date night. They have happy hour Tues-Fri from 4-7 pm. Service was fast and our server was super friendly. My favs from the menu: Cocktails - Blank Slate and Cafe Cafe Food - DIY Handroll, Mentaiko Mac, and sliders
google avatar

Alan N.

Yelp
Cool spot. Vibes are great. It is CRAZY loud in there. Hard to have a conversation with anyone. People are packed in like sardines. There were three groups of two sharing a table. The cocktails were meh. It's mostly ice cubes. There's not a lot of fluid. You're paying $20 for a large ice cube. Would not recommend a second visit

Yelp
Awesome little Japanese speakeasy in the Chelsea Market area - great DJ spinning old school hits and great bites to eat as well as good, interesting cocktails. The vibe inside is hip with dim lighting - a bit loud with the music but it's a great spot to grab drinks! The Addictive Cabbage ($8) was good - sesame oil, chicken bouillon cube, sesame seeds soy sauce ... it was indeed, addictive! The Tots ($12) were bomb - crispy with nori, parm and chives served with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. I tried the Security Blanket cocktail ($19) which had kinako milk washed rye, adzuki, demerara and bitters - interesting ingredients, two of which I have no idea what it is, but it tasted great. I would be interested in coming back and trying more of their food + cocktails!

Yelp
This used to be my favorite bar because I love the bartenders and the sound system is good and the cocktails are delicious ... however I came on a Friday to see my friend DJ and it really felt like my friend and I weren't welcome /werent wanted. They kinda kept trying to kick us out (we didn't have reservations but were willing to wait). There were two seats at the bar for a long time so we finally asked nicely one more time and they let us sit. They also charged an extra drink to my card. I will say the food was pretty good (gyudon and salmon don). . But just the simple fact that we felt unwelcomed and they charged me extra was the downfalls for me.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Really cool bar in the chelsea neighborhood! I love the retro japanese vibes and the music is so good in here. Drinks and food were great but where I docked a star was the seating situation. All of the tables are communal which I personally do not like. I like having privacy in my conversations. The only seating that seems private is the bar which doesn't seem like you can reserve. Additionally I felt so bad for the people sitting in the giant communal table, the long log chair seems soo uncomfortable and was form over function decision
google avatar

Lindsay L.

Yelp
The drinks are amazing! The ambiance is so chill and incredible. The DJ was awesome the night we went and the music was so good. We're def fans of this place and the DJ. Our bartender was so nice. The drinks are def all the hype. They're all very different with interesting ingredients. I liked each one of them the sweet guava one, the one with creamy milk. All amazing and awakened my senses. I want to try all of them. Def coming back during happy hour to see what it's like during that time. My only issue was with the hostess. When I showed up I gave her my phone number to text me as soon as 2 seats at the bar were available or when a table was available. We left and about 47 minutes passed by. We decided to go back and check because the automated text said the estimated wait time was 15 min and we waited forever and still no text. When we came back, we noticed 2 new females were at the bar. They weren't there when we first arrived and left. There was also an empty table in the back that was available the whole time when we showed up the first time and came back. It was still empty! Thankfully a group of people left. But then we noticed there was some space at the bar. And we kept telling them we wanted to sit at the bar. We had to flag down another employee to let them know and it finally registered....
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
I enjoyed the concept of this bar but didn't love 2 things: - the middle communal table seating is this narrow log that you're half sitting on / half leaning on as you just stand. It was pretty uncomfortable seating. - the music was so loud that by the end of our time there, I felt I had been straining to talk The drink I got (Time after time) was delicious and refreshing though.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! This is one of my new favorite bars - Japanese vinyl jazz bar vibes with intimate lighting and a modern setting. It's almost like a speakeasy even though there's no special way to get in because the door is tucked behind a plastic curtain and you could almost miss it. The drinks were well-crafted and balanced; nothing was really too boozy for me and they had great, creative options. highlights include the gift from koto, cafe cafe and their tomatillo drink which I forget the name of. The food is not meant tot be slept on either. The ebi shrimp, kara-age both had a nice fry to them with tender meat. The burger was delicious and had japanese flavors infused into its sauce which was quite delicious and filling. The addictive cabbage is well named because it is truly addicting. Came back for a second time not even a month after my first! Will come back soon - wish this place all the success!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this bar after dinner with friends that were visiting from out of town. We entered from the Chelsea Market entrance and the unassuming signage and hallway was what piqued my interest. Luckily they had a table for 8 when we arrived, but the place was quickly filled within the next hour. The izakaya had a lovely modern retro vibe with interesting bench seats that weren't the most comfortable. The Asian inspired drinks were all so enticing! My favorites include: Viewer Discretion Advised - sweet and tart Time After Time - fragrant, refreshing, and not too sweet Cafe Cafe - their take on the expresso martini They also offer food, but I didn't get a chance to try any. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Tucked away behind some plastic curtains through an alleyway, you'll find this meticulously styled Japanese-American bar/izakaya. Felt so distant from the rest of Chelsea Market, and only had a couple of patrons. I think the sneaky signage and path of entry deters many people, which I appreciate! We originally only stopped here for a drink as we had a dinner resy for Cull & Pistol down the way an hour later but their food menu looked too good to pass up. Ordered a few things to snack and sip on: Charred Broccoli skewer, Maitake mushroom skewer, Addictive Cabbage, DIY Toro Handroll, Blank Slate cocktail, Ebbs Pilsner beer, Unruly Pear cocktail The cabbage had a light dressing, asian style, was seed-heavy. Loved it. BF loved it x5! Unruly Pear cocktail: i thought it sucked and was flavorless but BF loved it. I enjoyed the sip I had of his "blank slate", though. And our food was hella flavorful. Great char/roast on the veggies, simple and clean execution on all of our dishes. The staff was super friendly, ready to explain items we ordered. They did a great job with clearing things as needed and keeping water cups full. Truly loved our experience and that we decided to pop in here. Would definitely return for a lowkey, moody evening!

Yelp
stumbled on this Japanese cocktail bar located in NYC's vibrant Meatpacking District. I entered from Chelsea market only because it seemed hidden and I was curious!!! You had to walk through what looks like an alleyway to reach the bar. Perfect name by the way. They offer small bites, Japanese-inspired cocktails crafted by expert mixologists as well as amazing sake! My server was so very helpful. She recommended the Isojiman Shuzo sake based on what I typically drink and it was delicious. The space is beautifully designed and captures the essence of Japanese minimalism. The menu was cute with a nod to the past...old records. Mine was Lisa Lisa All Cried out!!! One of my fav songs. Check it out! Cool discs and vibes.
google avatar

Susie L.

Yelp
The sliders were really yummy and the nonalcoholic drink was good to,,, all the other food was good but nothing crazy, I thin maybe their drinks would be really good. The happy hour menu was truly not anything much cheaper and at 6:30 pm on a Friday they were out of one of the drinks (the one similar to an espresso Martini). It was yummy, would go back, could imagine it to be good for a date night for the vibes and it wasn't too loud!
google avatar

Journey M.

Yelp
Came here with a few friends for drinks and appetizers. I wish I had snapped some photos of the food, but it was so good, it was gone in minutes. I'll be quicker next time. The drinks were super standout to me; they're all very unique and unlike any others I've ever had. Definitely peruse the cocktail menu if you're looking for something new and exciting! Get there before 7 for happy hour. Great ambience with a vinyl record wall and DJ. Excellent vibes and the volume at around 7 pm was low enough that you could still gods w your friends without losing your voice. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had the most PERFECT experience here on a Thursday night around 10pm! Absolutely no wait, not even half full, just walked right in. The vibiest place ever with amazing music from the DJ i was shazam'ing all night. We got the raw octopus and two cocktails, and some lychee shots (i forgot the names!) they were delicious I wish I had room for more! The service was amazing every worker was so sweet and our server Seoul was the best! Super personable and genuine- 100% would come back.

Yelp
Love this place! Great new bar inside Chelsea Market with a very cool looking interior. Came after dinner so was too full to try the food though the food options looked amazing. Cocktails were fantastic. Huge shout out to Lee, the best bartender ever. Will definitely return for Lee's amazing drinks and to try the food options!
google avatar

Nancy W.

Yelp
Walked in last week as I've been there before and had a great experience in the past. The music was so loud, I knew I wasn't going to be able to have a conversation with my date. We left for a much quieter place.
google avatar

Anjolika B.

Yelp
Really cute spot nestled into Chelsea Market. Their speaker system is awesome and the cocktails are lovely!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great has a underground Japanese Gastro pub well hidden inside of the Chelsea market can't wait to go back again to try the yummy food.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool spot hidden in Chelsea markets. Look for a green sign and a concrete hallway. Very chill vibes and the cocktails/food is fantastic. Staff were friendly and explained their drinks with great knowledge. Try it out!!
google avatar

Samantha D.

Yelp
Good place to walk in at the end of the night considering it's open pretty late for the area. The cocktails were way too sweet, and they didn't have much notes other than sweet. Got a viewer discretion advised. The Thai tea flavor was very prominent. However, I couldn't taste the other notes stated in the drink. The drink was sweet itself, and the egg white just made it even sweeter. I wanted more lemon flavor to cut through it. The other drink I tried was the morning glory. It was a little less sweet until you got to the end. The sugar seemed to have sunk all the way to the bottom. The cream was nice, provided a contrast to the drink. The service was nice, but the drinks weren't great enough for me to want to return.
google avatar

Rosa C.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in Chelsea market! I loved the underground & secretive vibes. The food was phenomenal but the drinks were alright. Our fave dishes were the chicken thigh skewers, the gyudon, and the raw squid with fresh wasabi. Fair warning here that the benches at the tables are thin, so your bum might go numb in 30 min! Not the most comfortable setup but works just enough.
google avatar

Allen L.

Yelp
Not a bad bar to spend the night with friends if you find yourself wandering around the area. Aesthetically captures the retro-Japanese vibes, with some cool vinyls decorated around the bar. They had a plethora of Asian inspired cocktails that you could choose from. Kitchen opens until 10 p.m., so we ordered a bunch of snacks. Addictive cabbage lived up to its name and I would recommend you try it. The bar fills up quickly. You can get a reservation online beforehand.
google avatar

Talia C.

Yelp
Easily accommodated our party of 10 at the communal table! Drinks were well crafted and delicious. The burger, karage, mac & cheese, and tots are star options on the menu. Service was excellent, and I won't be surprised if they are awarded many recognitions in the near future. Congrats on your 1-year anniversary N'Between!
google avatar

Frank A.

Yelp
NBetween is a great new Japanese izakaya inside the Chelsea Market. The and drinks are terrific. The staff is wonderful. Given the great vibe too, it is definitely a place you will want to be.
google avatar

Sammi K.

Yelp
Came to check out this hidden gem. Love the interior design and the vibe. You can scan the QR code on the vinyl, they serve cocktails and Izakaya food. We just came here for the drinks, they tasted good but on the pricey side. The bar seats are comfortable, great for a casual catch up with friends. The bartender was friendly, not very chatty but patiently walked us through the drinks. Will definitely come back and check out the food.
google avatar

Yelp
Nbetween Bar in NYC offers cool vibes and great music, but the food is just average. With a better menu, it could be a standout spot.

Dalisha P.

Yelp
This place was very cool. We were greeted with a warm welcome . When I tell you the drinks are superb I mean it . And so is the food . My only complaint was our bartender she was not pleasant at all, but we didn't let that ruin our experience. For drinks order the viewer discretion advised, so yummy! For food we did the flatiron steak skewers and ebi fry , which is fried shrimp. Everything was fresh and delicious! We order quite a few of the steak skewers lol. The set up and decor is unique. I love it . Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Intimate cocktail bar nestled within Chelsea Market. Layout reminiscent of a record lounge. After dinner at Maki a Mano, take your date or group of friends for après dinner drinks. Dimly lit, cool lofi, or sensual jazz on the airwaves. Booths seat 4 comfortably. Cocktails are expertly handcrafted. There's a drink for each person's flavor palette. For sweet and lovers of Thai iced tea: Viewer's Discretion Advised. For margarita adorers seeking refreshing sips: Blank Slate. The wasabi salt is an exquisite touch.
google avatar

Ritesh S.

Yelp
Small Japanese themed speakeasy opened in April'24 at the back of Chelsea Market next to tippler with nice cocktails, cool vibes, din lighting and a great collection of vinyls. They also serve small bites to order and enjoy with drinks. We went on Saturday Eve 5ish and it was full - they have bar seating and tables with narrow bars to sit which might not be comfortable for all to sit for long. We sat at the bar, ordered few cocktails - bartender was very knowledgeable and explained the ingredients the flavor profile. Hostess was very polite and helped us with figuring out the seating. Overall, a nice place to have few drinks.
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Love this cocktail bar! Must visit if you're in NYC! Located inside Chelsea market. The ambience feels like you're in an underground upscale bar, was very unique. The food and drinks lived up the atmosphere as well. Must get the karage and tots.
google avatar

Alyson M.

Yelp
Wish this was closer to my apt so I could be a regular! Such a sexy vibe with incredible drinks. We tried three or four different ones, and all were delicious and well made. Playlist that was going in the bar was top notch to where we asked if the playlist was public to download. Highly recommend for a date night or a few friends grabbing drinks to catch up.

Yelp
I was in town for three nights and stopped by three times. Every cocktail i tried was phenomenal and they had great vibes. The yakitori, karaage and fried shrimp were also terrific.

Yelp
Came here with my cousin on his 40th birthday because he saw this place on IG. We thought be great place to start off and have a few drink to start the night. The hostess is pretty cool and the staff is very nice. We came as a party of 3 because someone dropped out so we ended up sharing a table with two strangers. My cousin ordered viewer discretion advised he said that was a solid drink and not too strong Me and my cousin's friend ordered the Gift from Koto. This drink is actually very good except for that the bulk of it is a big chunk of ice that they put in a tea like cup (see photo). For $20 it's not worth it. We thought we order another drink but the waitress never returned to see if we would like anything else. The food here is excellent everything seems to be generous portions and delicious. Everyone loved their food. My cousin raved their Mentaiko Mac. I got the salmon don which was nice sized cuts of salmon on rice in a bowl. I probably could have ate two these it was so good. The couple sitting with us wanted to order more but same thing waitress never checked in. By the time she did the couple asked for their check. After she checked them out we asked for ours. N between is a nice cool spot but don't waste your money coming here unless it's just for IG photos.

Yelp
Very cute and intimate spot, perfect for a date. Delicious and unique drinks, kind bartenders/ staff, great song selections. I want to go back to try some of the food, everything sounds so yummy.

Yelp
A cozy Japanese bar with a charming retro vibe inside Chelsea Market. The cocktails were fantastic, and the portions were generous enough for sharing (we had the chicken karaage, tots, and mac and cheese). While these dishes are usually a safe bet, they were tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. It would be great if they played more Japanese jazz or '80s music. They do accept walk-ins, but making a reservation is advisable, especially on weekends, to ensure you get a spot.
