New three star restaurant

Good food and good service. Quality restaurant. Plenty of choices. Good specials for lunch. The cheese burger deluxe is delicious.

Went today with my husband for lunch and it was great. Coffee was delicious. We had a cheeseburger deluxe and a corn beef sandwich, both were great- so were the fries and onion rings. Hands down the best diner meal we have had in a while. Service was also attentive and helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

We arrived and everything was clean and bright. We were seated right away at a clean table and provided with menus. The food selection was huge! It took a little while to look at everything, but we decided, and the waitress came over. She was very polite, provided great service, and did so with a smile. There were free pickles, coleslaw, and dill, chickpea, and onion salad with rolls, crackers, and breadsticks. Our meals were delicious. We would come again!

We’ve eaten at this diner several times since they opened and have never been disappointed! The food is always fresh and delicious. The portions for the price can’t be beat! The staff and service is great, the atmosphere is great and the restaurant is always spotless! Old school Greek Diner with new school vibes! You won’t be disappointed.

It is one of my mom's and sister's favorite restaurant, so I decided to join them one evening, and I could see why they like it. They have very friendly staff, and the food is served in big portions and made homestyle. I would definitely come back again. Update: I decided to dine there again, and ordered a chocolate cheesecake. It was one of the tastiest I ever tried. Likewise, they use fresh fruit for their smoothies unlike many places.

So lucky this gem is located so close by to me. I do tattoos and piercings across the street and come here as my third spot for classic american dishes. I ordered the french onion soup and it never fails. The staff here are as local as you can get and treats everyone as vip. Best diner located in the heart of Brooklyn - good food & good vibes what more do you need.

My family and I had Thanksgiving dinner here this evening. The turkey stuffing soup and stuffed clams were delicious, but the mashed potatoes were tasteless, and instead of candied sweet potatoes they served baked sweet potatoes. The portions are nice.

My friend and I decided to meet up for dinner at 3 Star. Not too many people at this wonderful diner on a Wednesday night. Even though she didn't arrive yet, I got seated right away. We ended up ordering light meals because we were not as hungry as usual. The eggs benedict was so delicious and the blueberry cheesecake was amazing!! She really enjoyed her wrap, too. We'll be back for more!!

Service went above and beyond!!!! Food was delicious!!!) Enjoyed it will return!!! Thank you. We asked for mayonnaise and the guy cut the top off for us. Such class

One of the remaining good diners in my neighborhood. Friendly staff, handle their food efficiently. Food is your typical diner fare but done properly. My go to breakfast mea The place is clean and inviting although parking is limited.

The place is definitely new and improved! The staff is super sweet the restaurant is extremely clean! Prices are a bit high. The burgers are to DIE FOR! The make the best burgers ever but please get a better bun? Maybe a potato bun something better fresher the buns seem stale. The potato salad is too sweet! WHYYYYYYYYYY???

This diner was AMAZING! Everything from our greeting at the front desk to the time we left was pleasant, efficient and delicious! Our breakfast was great, service was so professional and kind. Definitely can't wait to try out more of the menu during the next visit.

Service was great, food okay. The big screen TV was playing Newsmax. Really??? You employ immigrants, and I think that is a slap in the face to them. Plus you're in a diverse neighborhood that is primarily Asian. Another slap. Actions matter. Do better...

I don't know where to begin. Let' me start by saying the restaurant was very clean looking as far as tables and floor . However the service was terrible . A woman server came to the table and was rushing the order . I didn't have enough time to decide . When o made my order o asked for a burger with lettuce no bread . It was a production for her to understand what that was. I asked may I have a side salad with my order I will pay a little extra other diners have that option she didn't understand. The water glad was dirty . She didn't bring out my lemon Ice wasn't even an option . My pickle was forgotten about . I could not even find her to ask about it. The burger I ordered was a mushroom burger it was over priced it didn't even have flavor and took a long time coming out. I have been going to diners my entire life this experience was terrible.

Food was good and staff are kind. Great for the basics like omelettes, sandwiches, etc.

I was refused the original receipt upon purchase of foods . I was given a copy of the receipt by who I assume is the manager , a European complexion guy . Mirrors are all over the place , giving a cheap , unpleasant atmosphere with cameras popping out , showing you're always being recorded . This place is not worth your time , except if you order small to- go items . And even then , it's 20% overpriced . 8.35 for a half full container of broccoli and some garlic . At least they have news papers , for sale for $2 , near the entente . That's a nice , innovative , feature .

Diners are pretty much the same. Until one isn't. I stopped in for dinner the other day. The portions are huge (I took half of my panini at home), the service is good and the prices are expected. My only issue is that the menu is a little too much. It was a little overwhelming given the amount of dishes to choose from. Do I recommend it? Yes.

Excellent, quality food. All elements of the main courses were fresh, containing quality ingredients. The meat was of high quality; the coffee was strong and dark -- as NYC coffee is always supposed to be -- and freshly brewed, served in a classic coffee mug on top of a saucer. The onion rings were fresh (something often hard to find); the cheese was fresh and well-melted; the French fries were cooked well and tasted nice. The pickles were fresh; the tomatoes were fresh; and the lettuce were fresh. (Two minor notes: The coleslaw could have used less mayonnaise. Perhaps extra mayonnaise was meant to be a substitute for the taste of freshness? And, second, the chickpeas were just fair.) Our waiter was pleasant and very helpful. The busboy was also attentive. I can only speak to the ambiance on what was a very quiet night: it was peaceful and we could eat in quiet -- not something that comes around often in Brooklyn.

I heard the New 3 Stars Restaurant opening this week and decided to try it out. The restaurant took half of the old 3 stars restaurant. The menu in the front still say 3 stars restaurant but it doesn't have that much from before. The decor looks like the same from the old restaurant. The foods price was a little pricy. We usually order baked clam from the old restaurant but this time we didn't since only get 3. We just order our meal. I order beer and reef which has skirt steak, salmon and baked mushroom with clams. The salmon taste a little dry even with the lemon flavor. The stuffed mushroom with clams was ok. The skirt steak. One was medium rear but the other seems burn on the outside. If I go back there I will try something different. They don't have a liquor license so no wine yet. The place seems hot with so many people.

So glad they reopened. One of my favorite local diners. I have been here several times for breakfast. Service always excellent. Friendly wait staff. Prices are reasonable and somewhat cheaper than the competition. My breakfasts here are consistently delicious. Parking in the area can sometimes be difficult, but the restaurant itself is a gem. I highly recommend.

Highly recommended by my friend who has been there often. The service was absolutely excellent and the dinner options are a great value as they include soup& salad, entree with 2 sides, dessert and beverage. But I made a missteak (sic) Everything we ordered was fine but the strip steak made me long for Tads! It wasn't properly seasoned and was loaded with fat and gristle. Will go back but will stick to other dishes

Food is delicious and prices are reasonable this is a place well established in the neighborhood and there always glad you came

me and the girlfriend were looking for a place to eat on ave u.and found this tiny restaurant in the middle of the block.went on a very hot day their ai condition was pumping nice cold air.first they brought out pickles coleslaw chi peas and bread.then with your meal you got a delicious cup of soup,after that a crispy fresh salad.after the salad your main course.the food was fresh,I had Shrimps with crabmeat stuffing.it was delicious.then dessert which was included with the meal,we ate so much we took the desert home.they definitely have a new customer for life.the host,the waitress,even the water boy were on top of our every needs.if your ever in the area stop in,you will agree with me about this little secret spot.

Ate here with family about a month ago and again last night ( 07/22/2023). we used to go there thirty-five years ago. The restaurant was closed for quite a while, but reopened recently. The portions of the offerings are HUGE. Twice I ordered the shrimp and chicken francese over linguine and really, really liked it. The chocolate layer cake is delicious. The wait staff puts up with all kinds of requests, like, " separate checks." The assistants who bus tables and create take home ccontainers for left-overs are very efficient. Last night, I believe I saw and spoke to one of the owners. Friendly. I just hope that they can stay in business, being as generous as they are. I think that Yelp has this restaurant as being in Sheepshead Bay. Avenue U, not far from the Q train stop is not Sheepshead Bay.

I am writing because there was a wire or a piece of steel wool in my chocolate pudding with whipped cream today when I went there for lunch. It was smooth and absolutely delicious until I felt something in my mouth that definitely wasn't chocolate pudding or whipped cream. I took a picture of the chocolate pudding with the wire next to it. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't find the manager. I spoke to someone else who didn't seem to want to find the manager for me. He apologized and that was that. I complained elsewhere and was told that since I didn't persist there was nothing they would do about it. So much for my being honest. Other than that the food is very good. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and friendly.

What a fantastic little restaurant!! They've got a menu the size of a bible, so pretty much any diner food you can think of is available for the 20-25 dollars range. The service made me feel like I was getting spoiled by an aunt who just found out I hadn't eaten. Portions were HUGE, at least for mine, I only had half and was excited to have the rest for leftovers. The inside is spacious and pleasant, perfect for family dinner. I'll be back here for sure - If you're around avenue U give it a chance, it's little and easy to miss but a really nice place to grab dinner!

Burnt steak. Food and soup were just warm. Taste was bad. Too expensive. Charge for plain hot water.

So I see why this place is called Three Stars. I saw all these great reviews on FB and Google and decided to give it a try.... I definitely think they're having their friends and family post these reviews. What we were served was not worth the one star I gave. The chicken in my panini was so dry. My friends burger was overcooked and tasteless. Oasis and Perrys are much better in my opinion. Google and FB really did a good job fooling us into going but we won't bother going back a second time.
