"At Nhà Minh in Ridgewood, you can sit down with your laptop, bang out a few hours of work fueled by excellent Vietnamese iced coffee and pandan snickerdoodles, and leave with a painting from the wall (they’re all made by local artists). We prefer these to the rice bowls, which need a big squirt of tomato-fish sauce vinaigrette, or the breakfast sandwich, with eggs that are a bit too salty with Maggi and fish sauce. Nhà Minh is open nearly all day, which is useful if you live in the area. They also regularly host events, like mahjong parties, with neighboring concert hall Trans-Pecos. "Nha Minh is located on an out-of-the-way section of Morgan Ave but worth the walk. It's a come as you are hang-out with a colorful mural, hopping exposed kitchen, and mini-mezzanine big enough for a couple two-tops. Order at the counter and take a seat, maybe grab a magazine to read while you wait or check out their condiments table with all variety of sauces. It's a chill spot to bring your friends and one of those places where you feel like your eating something authentic yet unconventional, and always delicious." - Radish Lab
"Just over the border from Bushwick (the dividing line runs down the middle of Wyckoff at this point), Nhà Mình is one of the city’s most unique Vietnamese restaurants, located inside the music venue Trans Pecos. At heart it’s a coffee shop and all-day breakfast spot, serving bowls and egg banh mi. "Opened to fill a long-empty niche for Vietnamese breakfast in the city, Nha Minh (in the front section of Trans-Pecos) is open at 8 a.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. on weekends and offers egg-forward items like an egg-bearing banh mi and a sunnyside trio (one duck, one chicken, one quail) served with Maggi.
