Ninja Ramen

Placed an order online for pickup. The pickup time was 2pm. When I got there at 2, they told me my order wasn't ready. I had to wait an additional 30 mins and saw others who ordered behind me recieve their order before me. They never informed me when my order was ready. I had to go and grab it myself. Then when I get home, 1 of my orders was completely wrong. I paid an additional charge for extra chicken and mushrooms that I didn't get. Just extremely upsetting and disappointing. Would also like to add the place was not even busy at the time I came to pick up my order.

The wait was super short and everything I got was amazing. 😻 Great lunch spot. My server with the pigtails was very attentive as well!

Been here for the past 2 years and never got this bad experience. The girl with red hair and super long nails serve our table is really rude. She seem very upset and don’t want to talk to us. Very unwelcome. We ordered A15, she doesn’t bring out the plate until we ask her and she gave us an attitude response. She brings the plate out with her long nails on it(not sure the owner trained their staff properly about food handler or not) The grill squid and the takoyaki is extremely burnt, i can taste the smoky in my tongue and it is very bitten. So i called the girl and ask if they can remake it. Again, she is not happy at all. We wait for another 5 10minutes, a new dish came out with the same burnt squid. And the squid is cold and watery, look like they deep the old burnt squid with water to wash the burnt off i guessed. I have to peel the burnt skin off the squid and try to finish what i pay for but i couldn't cause it taste disgusting. This time even worse. Burnt, bitten, cold and watery. I hope the owner can read this and train their staff again if he still care for the business.

It was very good food. But when I went to the restroom it smelled so bad. Faucet was bad, it went different ways. Please use the restroom before you come here unless you want to smell poop and lots of pee.

When we arrived we were quoted a 40 minute wait. We only waited maybe 10 minutes which is great. The food here is amazing which is why we come. Valentines we wait, get sat, then nobody even so much as says hi to us for over 20 minutes. I had to go to the bar to get service. That’s insane. With the quality of food they serve if the service matched it would be 5 stars easy. 3 stars just because the food is good but the service and lack of smiles is just very unpleasant. 20 minutes and don’t even have a water is unforgivable. Too many places to choose to settle for that. Just wow

Me and my husband has been going to this restaurant many times now. The food has always been great. It’s my birthday today and the server ruined it for me! She had a mask and tied up hair couldn’t really see her face. As a ramen lover, i decided to go to this place once more and we had to go to her to make order let alone her telling us that one order of entree and an appetizer may be a lot for us. But as a courtesy and as a server myself in the past, I decided to tip But this service is not worth even a penny!! Maybe it was the way we dressed but still no one should be judged by their appearance and i hope she understands that she’s not the only one w bad days.

Great ramen. I had the Osaka miso ramen and shoju ramen. Both were very good. The broth was solid, not too salty. The egg was marinated, which I liked. Meat was tender. Although the fried chicken pieces had thick breading, it was well seasoned and full of flavors. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. They do a great job with their food. They went a little heavy on the onion pieces. I wish they would turn up the heater a bit on a cold day. You can also order royal tea from next door at your table.

I am appalled I have to leave this review. My husband and I have taken our son here many times for several years now. Today (Jan 19, 2025) was so bad! We have NEVER had this kind of service from staff!!! We walked in and waited to be seated after several minutes. After sitting down and looking through the menu 15 minutes had passed and NOT ONE staff member acknowledged us. Several definitely made eye contact with us. But did not apologize for the wait or if they could get us drinks. Three groups of people came in after us and were tended to. We then decided to walk out. The front of house staff needs a major lesson on hospitality, sense of urgency, and team work. I understand it does get busy. But even making eye contact with us and not acknowledging us once is very unprofessional.

We don't often eat Ramen. Friday evening effort to try something we don't often do. The recommendations were very high ratings. We were a little concerned with the high fish smell as we entered. My sponsor ordered the Coconut Shrimp and white rice. I ordered the Shrimp Wonton Ramen. For an appetizer we shared Edamame. The prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, the toilets were clean but smelly. The staff were very organized and pleasant. The restaurant was full as we left.

I got this delivered and it didn't take long at all. The spicy tonkosu was not seasoned at all, even though I had the spicy sauce. It required at-home seasoning. The gyoza was not prepared the same as it is shown in a lot of the photos of those who ordered in store. These appeared to be steamed and dropped in a pan with hot grease for about five seconds before plating. Despite that, the flavor was good. Disappointing ramen, though.

It's connected to the Royal Tea place next door, so that was convenient for ordering delicious drinks during our meal! I didn't try the ramen, but everything I tried was pretty good. Service was kinda slow, but they were really busy and possibly understaffed so I understood. All the staff members we interacted with were also very nice and helpful. GESO KARAAGE: This was delicious! It was well-seasoned, well-fried (tempura style), and large-sized pieces. I'd definitely get this again and recommend it if you like squid. FURIKAKE FRIES: In other pictures, it looked like there wasn't enough sauce or seasoning, so we asked for it with extra sauce and seasoning. They ended up putting A LOT of extra sauce and seasoning. Like, kinda too much. It'd probably be better to order the extra sauce and seasoning on the side so you can control the amount. Aside from that issue, the fries were good. It's also a pretty large serving, so one order would be enough to share with a group. CHICKEN KARAAGE: This was good and basic. Good flavor, not dry, but not super moist either. Nothing mind-blowing, but it'll hit the spot if you're in the mood for something like it. NIKU UDON: This was delicious and a huge portion! It was everything I was hoping it'd be and more! They didn't skimp on any ingredients! Tons of noodles, meat, bokchoy and narutomaki! The noodles and meat were cooked perfectly. The thinly sliced beef is very fatty, so if you're not into that like my bf, that might be a problem, but I personally loved it! I have no complaints at all. CURRY UDON: Another huge serving with generous amounts of noodles and beef! It also uses the same fatty beef as the niku udon. My bf got this and I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't spicy at all and just had the curry flavor. It's in like a soupy sauce? I expected it to be thicker like curry, but it wasn't. It was almost like they poured a little soup into the curry to get that consistency. It wasn't bad though, just different from what I was expecting.

Food is decent! I wish the ramen was hotter in temperature but fast service! Creamy chicken broth ramen taste good and won't mind coming back.

Stopped here completely on a whim. Had planned on going to a different restaurant in the same plaza, but it was too busy. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, spicy, with added corn and fried tofu. To drink I ordered a diet Pepsi. The Tonkotsu was rich and flavorful. The added ingredients were fresh and tasty. The noodles had a good consistency and there was just the right amount in the bowl. Even the fountain Pepsi was above average and I was offered one to go. The service was very friendly and prompt and the place was very clean. If I am ever in the area again, I will seek this place out for sure.

I came in today, service was fast. The soup came out piping hot. I ordered the spicy Osaka miso ramen. The noodles were well prepared and I liked the broth, the toppings were a bit lackluster. The egg was cooked perfectly. The chashu was mostly fat and not very flavorful. The corn was bad. I know it isn't corn season and it obviously came from a can, but it was all mushy and mealy. And there was a lot of it. The portions are large and the prices are pretty good, it just isn't something I would go out of my way for.

They are horrible. Ordered through grubhub and recieved confirmation tht the order was recieved. This was an hour before they close. After waiting for awhile, I called to see what's taking my order so long to find out that they didn't prepare my order and they're closing. So waited an hour for nothing and we could've ordered elsewhere.

The service is always amazing here. The food is always delicious. And the place is always soooo cold hahaha. No but in all seriousness, we love visiting Ninja Ramen. Everything about it makes it a great experience. Get the Udon!

It was okay I felt like ramen broth was diluted wish it had more taste. We had 3 orders which were delivered at different times my food got to the table 15 minutes later everyone else was almost done eating. I am just disappointed. I usual don't give bad reviews but here is one.

Great service, and the food was very tasty ! Also it was a casual dining place. I can't stay that the food was as good as in Japan (I love Japan), but I will definitely be back!

Good food, bad service. I came in 1/07/25 at 4 pm. The server sat me at a table, then walked away just to lean over the counter by the bar seating on his phone for almost five minutes before greeting me with a casual, "Sorry for the wait." The food came out and tasted great, so I let the initial lack of attentiveness slide. However, things got worse. I placed a takeout order with my server, assuming he'd bring it over to my table 10 ft. away once it was ready. Instead, he sat at the bar on his phone while my order sat bagged and untouched for 15 minutes. I didn't say anything at first, thinking it wasn't mine if it hadn't brought it out. To my surprise, he grabbed his own food, walked out of the restaurant with his belongings, and left me sitting there. I finally had to check on my order myself, only to realize I had been staring at it the entire time. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. While the food was great, the poor service made the whole experience disappointing.

Fiancé and I love this ramen spot. Always great ramen between tonkatsu and beef ramen bowls. The chicken karaage appetizer is A-1. Staff are always busy at this little joint and moving around. They'll get to you though and been friendly all times I've been here. The restaurant is small and has a personable feel like other Japanese restaurants. It's actually quite pleasant but at the same time, you'll be waiting on busy nights as this place does get crowded. Only negative is the bathrooms can be smelly and leave a lot to be desired.

This place is awesome. Great food and great service! Not overpriced! Fried Calamari is great...Spicy ground pork Ramen..:got the good fruity drinks next door! Usually get one of those to go!

Had a simple, yet delicious Sunday lunch with my son and absolutely enjoyed it. The servings are enormous! Service was great. Definitely a hidden gem!

We ordered our food to go so I did not take pictures of our food. However, I wished that I had dined in and taken photos because the food here is top notch. I love octupus and noticed that they had takoyaki that contained octupus served with a special sauce that was amazing and katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes). The takoyaki pastries were so creamy and delicious. I could have dreams about the beautiful appetizer. We also ordered the egg rolls that were slender, crispy and piping hot. We ordered seaweed salad that was $6 and we were stunned at the portion size as it was way more seaweed than any serving I have ever ordered before. A really good value. I noticed it had a more enhanced sesame oil flavor than other seaweed salads I have had before; which was nice. We ended up stirring the rest of it into our shared poke bowl. The poke bowl was a good portion size as well and was very delicious. I would really like to try Ninja Ramen again and explore the menu a little bit more and try some different items. However, I will be ordering that takoyaki EVERY TIME! I would like to add that the servers were very friendly and helpful.

Great service, were quick to seat me and take my order. Came back to check on me quite a few times. Not the best ramen, but still good.

Amazing lucky find! Food was awesome! Stumbled onto this place when we were looking for a quick bite mid afternoon before we had to be somewhere. It was really busy for 3:00 pm but they found a place for us at the bar and made sure we were in and out quickly! The food definitely has a southern Japanese flare and finding a place that was authentic Japanese - let alone southern Japanese was amazing! The ambiance at the bar was comfortable and the staff were super friendly. Lucky day!

We were past dinner time and this place was open late. We stopped in and it was really packed but we sat down pretty quick. We all ordered our food and got the appetizers first so that was nice .. my gf ordered something that wasn't supposed to be very spicy unlike me .. all the entrees came out and we started eating . Mine was great and spicy like I wanted but my gf Lu's was too spicy for her to eat and the server never came back to see if everything was good and to our liking. We sat there for over 15min and I finished my meal and she never got to eat, we weren't offered anything else or a discount for the meal and eventually had to walk out because nothing was getting handled properly.. so in the end the food was good but the service was terrible and we won't be back to this location.

To the wonderful workers at Ninja Ramen and Royal Tea-- I realized I've never left a review, and it's about time. I've never gotten an incorrect order, I've always been greeted, and even when I'm driving home with a to-go order my food stays warm! Thank you for your hard work, this place has kept me going through the pandemic and rough times at UTA.

Went here with a group of 7 colleagues for dinner. The food was ok. I like ramen and this is my 2nd here. The first 1 was pretty good considering it but this time was a disappointment. The appetitive of squid came out ok but we asked to cut it to shareable pieces but instead they minced it so it came out as tine cubes. No common sense here. The spicy miso ramen was bland and only had a bit of spicy to it. I had enough ramen to say this is definitely over rated. The service was ok and the waitress was definitely new.

The ambiance was very decent... love the anime element of it all! The service however wasn't the best. We were seated but we waited about 5 minutes to be acknowledged and asked our drink order. It was not very busy. We experienced longer waits when we needed our server. We eventually grabbed another server to help us. Ramen was only okay. Lacked flavor... from the broth to the pork. It just needed something more.

Solid 4/5!!! It's a great option for ramen especially when you're craving it!! For how busy it was I definitely expected something outstanding and it was good but not great. I do love their menu options and options for dietary restrictions! I would come back if I were in the area!

My boyfriend and I tried this place. We were wanting fresh ramen from scratch. We were skeptical at first but it ended up being really good. Started off with the shrimp tempura as an appetizer. Then we both ordered the Osaka Miso ramen, mine beef and his pork. Overall was really good. Definitely will be eating here again. 8/10

Came here with a friend and had a wonderful time. The chicken ramen was delicious, and I highly recommend the spicy edamame!! They have a boba place next door so you can also enjoy boba with your meal. Staff was super friendly and made great suggestions.

The food and service at this restaurant is top tier! Our waitress Aliayah was very helpful and nice. We asked a few questions and she answered them very accurately. The manager Ivy is the best! She's all over the place helping every single table around the restaurant and is very respectful to everyone. I live 34 minutes away from the restaurant but I would not mind driving any time and eat here frequently because the service was 10 stars. We also love that it's open until late and the ambiance is very vibey! Everyone in the restaurant are so cool!

I love the custom poke bowls here! Soooo yummy with mango, double crab, tuna and avocado. Best poke bowl and large portion. Family has tried soups and appetizers, as well as boba and other smoothies / cold coffees. So good!

My Gawd tuhday! Shrimp wonton ramen was AMAZEBALLS! The broth was so rich. Literally craving again.

My first time coming to Ninja Ramen and I gotta say I was impressed. Great food and service. Plenty of room to sit and very clean. Definitely recommend stopping by. Also check out their boba teas as well !!!

This place is amazing! So many food choices and so many boba options! The staff is fantastic and the vibe is so chill, love that they're open late nights!

My husband and I have eaten here several times, and it's been consistently pretty good. My husband ordered the pork gyoza and the tonkotsu ramen, and he really enjoyed both. The tonkotsu was rich and flavorful, and had plenty of toppings. I ordered the Hokkaido croquettes and the vegetarian ramen. The croquettes were nice and crunchy on the outside and perfect on the inside, one of my favorite things. The vegetarian ramen was really good! The broth was nice and rich, not watery like I've had at other places. There were plenty of toppings, and the smoked onion oil is a game changer. This is my favorite veggie ramen of all of them I've had. I definitely recommend trying this place out.

Food and service here is good, but yall SERIOUSLY need to dilute the cleaner you clean with. Make my eyes water with the chemical smell...or its so thick should i say the chemical taste in the air.

Spicy Miso was not "spicy" like it advertised on the menu. My husband's had the chicken Ramen. The chicken was very tough. The service was excellent! Very nice wait staff.

The food was really delicious and very fresh, service was also excellent. Only downside is, it is very cold in the sitting area, other than that very good food and service

Great ramen. The boba tea next door is amazing, too. The ambiance is dark in the evening, so it is good for friends and dates but not for family gatherings.

This place was pretty crowded but it was a small restaurant. We tried a few dishes and the ramen was average at best. I wouldn't go back.

Visited 16Mar at around 8:30pm. This place reminded me of the "Demoness Ramen" episode of Samurai Gourmet. The ramen noodles were overcooked, and broth was barely warm and just ok. Not authentic at all. The tamagoyaki was so rubbery and weird tasting. Tempura was not tempura. Service from the hostess to servers was absolutely below par. The wait area was crowded even though there were 4 tables open and cleared. Felt like we were a bother and unwelcome. Hostess and server kept asking to repeat ourselves because the music was way too loud. Not a good experience at all. Equivalent to a 3.8 on the one bite app.

This place is by far has the best ramen I've ever had. I have tried a lot of ramen from different states, from low to high end restaurants and Ninja has the best so far. Not to mention, the price for how good the food is, I'm pretty much in aaawwww. This place should be on a TOP restaurant list or something. Their bobas are also amazing and wish there's a Ninja Ramen here in CA

Always a good choice on a cold rainy day to warm the soul! A nice hot and spicy bowl of ramen will do it! Two orders of the chicken Kaarage to start off is a must and great to pair up with the bowl of ramen!

Ninja Ramen is an absolute gem for ramen lovers like me! I can confidently say it's the best ramen restaurant in Arlington. Not only is the price incredibly reasonable, but the food is also simply outstanding. The appetizers, like the mouthwatering fried chicken and fries, are a great start to the meal. What makes this place even better is the adjacent milk tea shop, allowing for a seamless drink and food ordering experience. The ramen itself is a real treat - the broth is rich and flavorful, while the noodles are delightfully chewy. The pork meat complements the dish perfectly, adding to the overall deliciousness. While I must admit that the service can be a bit hit or miss depending on the staff's attitude, it won't deter me from revisiting this fantastic ramen spot. The exceptional taste and value make Ninja Ramen a must-visit destination for any ramen enthusiast. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The service was pretty alright I've had better. Me and my boyfriend ordered dumplings and they were pretty cold when we got them. The ramen was alright too we've had better at many places so overall I wouldn't recommend.

I stopped by Ninja Ramen craving a poke bowl and they definitely did not disappoint. I suggest ordering a custom bowl and select your toppings. The portion is definitely large enough to share, just prepare a nap if you plan on eating an entire bowl yourself. I ordered the tuna and spicy salmon. They tasted fine and was slightly disappointed with the protein portion. This is a sit down seating and was pleasantly surprised they have late hours. There is an afternoon and late night happy hour but the menu didn't specify what is included nor did I ask as I was there during lunch time. There was no wait for a Monday afternoon but I can easily see how quickly they fill up as it is not a large restaurant. The ambience and art was fun and I enjoyed the vibes. There was nothing specific about the service, neither good or bad, but last time I visited I did not enjoy the ramen hence the 4star rating. Once the weather gets cooler I will stop in and try their ramen and maybe some soji. They have an extensive drink menu and regret not ordering the thai tea. Overall I would recommend to atleast stop by and try the poke bowl.

It's a shame Based on review and picture I was expecting B+ level ramen. I mean only true ramen shop would dare put shio ramen and mazeman. But man I don't know what you guys did to your original cook this is actually worst than most if not all the ramen places here in Arlington. Btw a flatten out takoyaki is NOT okonomyaki. No wonder I have friend who tried this place and said meh to it. Stop misrepresenting Japanese food. Service B- Food F Soup blend not creamy Meat thin and dried Noodle ok Very disappointed. Was hoping for more.

This is the second time I've eaten at this location and become horribly sick both times!! Food is not fresh!!! Eggs are frozen and then microwaved when you order! Do not eat here!

Enjoyed the food here, rich flavors ! The service was fast and customized per our request to meet dietary requirements. Good job would definitely come again..

Food is delicious. The spicy ramen is my go to every time. This place is usually poppin so just be ready to wait for a minute.

Excellent food, my Udon noodles were perfect, the broth to die for, service by Sierra was the best, nice young lady who took the time to explain the menu and made us feel at ease. Not too crowded, but it gets full quickly, all in all a great late lunch for my granddaughter and I, nice ambiance and music.

This place has pretty good ramen I will say the location is pretty small and on busy days there are lines I recommend going on not so busy days.
