"The interior of Niramish off Euclid Ave is sparse, with just a few booths and tables. We like to make up elaborate Liam Neeson-movie backstories for the rare one to two loners who actually eat inside since this is mostly a takeout joint. Everything is good, and the menu is massive with lots of Indian dishes, including curry, biriyanis, and three types of naan (the garlic is our fave). And every dish can be made with your choice of protein from lamb to tofu. The options are endless, but just know one bite of their creamy butter chicken will solidify their place on your regular food roster." - juli horsford

Unassuming spot but the food is hearty and tasty. Have ordered from here a couple times now. Love that they're open late! One thing I will say is when I went to pickup my order in person once, a staff member was hauling trash out the front door. I'm pretty sure that's a no-no in food service, and at the very least not very picturesque. Regardless the employees were sweet and courteous.

My kind of place! Quaint, but the food is great! Large portions at a good price. I had my 2 favs; Bindi (Okra Curry) and Chana (Chickpeas Curry). Absolutely Delicious!

Indian food on Euclid Avenue left me unsure of what to expect. But it was great. First, they were open late, which made it perfect for grabbing a bite after leaving Variety Playhouse. The interior space is a little plain but the staff was super kind and inviting. The pani poori and butter chicken were delightfully flavorful, unique and rich. The pani poori had chick peas, which was a different spin on the traditional dish. And the garlic naan was so pillowy soft with no charred spots from the clay oven. The owner visited our table a few times, checking to ensure we enjoyed our food and weren't in need of anything. Will definitely be back to further explore the menu.

I got butter chicken, naan, and veggies samosas. The butter chicken tasted really off and gross. I tried to bare past it but I couldn’t. Same for the samosas. Soggy and odd taste. Naan was okay and mango lassi was okay.

Wonderful food, everything was fresh and delicious! Ordered on my way from the train station and everything was ready and hot within 20 minutes. The vegetable samosas were amazing! The Chicken Tikka was velvety and delicious. The Garlic Naan didn't hold back on the garlic, so delicious! The staff were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere could use a little TLC, but don't let that discourage you from the food!

Ok, so the interior is totally unassuming, and you really don't expect to eat some amazing food, but it was absolutely DELICIOUS! We ordered the Chana Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala as well as 2 orders of garlic naan. It was all very good! We will be returning but probably doing takeout next time.

The food is decently portioned, priced, and the customer service is superb. I really enjoyed eating here: Meal for two under 20 dollars. I highly recommend!
