NiteOwl Kitchen and Cocktails

Perhaps we picked the wrong day. The pizza had so much cheese that it was inedible. The charred Brussel sprouts were raw with sauces on them. It’s hard to mess up wings but they did. The waitress was kind. The cook must have been on break because it seems like that was the dishwasher that was preparing out food. The salmon bites were tasty. $80 later we didn’t take any to-go boxes.

firstly the service was extremely extremely slow. my boyfriend ordered at the bar and it took 15 minutes just to get drinks back. then we tried to order food but a bartender never cane back, so we tried to order at the table but the service was down so we had to order at the bar and wait for a bartender to return. we were there for atleast an hour before we got food and it wasnt busy. then i got the food and while im eating i see a little black beetle crawling on the plate. granted we were sitting on the patio and there was a door open, i wouldve noticed something flying into the food im actively eating. we showed the staff and one dude went "it came from outside🤷🏽‍♂️" then took the fries and EVERYBODY disappeared. then the bartender comes back 10 minutes later and just checks us out. nobody apologized, nobody tried to bring me new fries, nobody tried to comp anything like they didnt try to fix the situation at all. terrible service. The DJ was the absolute best part of the night.

Had an amazing experience! The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. Even though we were the only ones there, Nahomie still went above and beyond—she walked us through the menu, recommended great drinks, and shared exciting plans for the future. Crystal crafted some fantastic cocktails, and Josh absolutely delivered in the kitchen. Love having this gem as our local pizzeria! Already looking forward to coming back for Saturday bottomless mimosas!

Went last night for the first time after driving by and stopping by the local bars in the area. Will definitely not be coming back. When we sat down our orders were taken but one of us at the table had been skipped and was not able to place an order after 10+ minutes after finding a server. I would assume on Saturday the place would be busy and that would excuse this but it was not our server just was not around. The drinks were okay but for the price of beer you really only can get cocktails. On top of that there is a bizarre 20% charge on all bills over 25 that isn’t tip which is not mentioned but in small text on the menu. Our food took awhile and when it did come out the wings were cold and fries were cold.

Crab claws were tasty! The pizza is always a hit. Come chill, vibe and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with great drinks.

NiteOwl Kitchen did not disappoint! All the way from Houston! The pizza (Big Back) was made with the freshest ingredients, definitely finger lickin' good. The lemon pepper wings were also delicious. The greatest part of the experience was the hospitality! It felt welcoming, comfortable and familiar....like family. The staff and owner was warm and inviting. A great time was had! Let me not forget to mention the AMAZING drinks and shots of MOONSHINE! I will definitely be back (probably before leaving the city)! WELL DONE NITEOWL KITCHEN!

Love the staff. Love the deals. Black owned. Sometimes the wait is long. Not complaining but pro tip bathroom is not in restaurant. Must pay to park. Small parking lot

Food is exceptional! I’m addicted to their oysters. Service is friendly and down to earth, very welcoming atmosphere. Oh and bartender does not hold back on the alcohol…🤦🏾‍♀️

This was advertised as having free food and drinks, so my friends and I signed up. It was suppose to be 21 and over, but wasn't. We took a look at the menu and decided to go somewhere else. The staff seemed nice, but it wasn't what was described, so we left.

My girlfriend and I eagerly waited for this place to open. We had In hopes that it could be another stop on the brewery trail that is Avondale Estates. Especially when we saw it was going to be open late as almost everything else here closes at 9 or 10pm. Well we were greatly disappointed. Our first trip we each had 2 drinks (mine domestic beer hers margarita) and a pizza. Pizza was good but bill was about $75. Second time we went we only had 3 drinks, but the bartender charged us an automatic 20% gratuity for just the 2 of us. Haven't been back since. The pizza is good and the manager is super nice, but its too pricey for what you get and doesn't really fit the vibe in Avondale Estates.

Overpriced beers ($8 for a Blue Moon), complicated menu to customize your pizza, and a lackluster cocktail menu. I had high hopes this place would be a great addition to Avondale....unfortunately it didn't deliver. It's a new establishment, so fingers crossed they will get better over time.

This is a new spot in the area. I decided to try it out as we have walked by it as it was being built out. The pizza was amazing - remind me of old school NY pizza. Also tried the tacos and they were really good as well. Atmosphere is cute - drinks were good. So glad we have a new late not spot in the area!

Open late, great food, solid vibes and all of a good price. Would come back again and would recommend
