Fantastic cozy little place with a great selection of wines. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in finding the right wines for the sort of taste profile we were looking for. Jamie was an absolute superstar making sure we got to try the wines and liked them before committing to a glass. The menu and food looked great, but did not have time to try it unfortunately. However, will certainly try it next time I stop by here. Fantastic atmosphere and people. Highly recommend!

Had the vodka martini. Very to the point which was precisely what was needed on a cold December night. The olives and oily bread were great on the side. Pretty dark in there. Excellent music. Noice.

Came here after a gorgeous dinner at Darlings Eatery, since this place created the wine list. We walk in and a sommelier says let’s try two different sparkling wines, a nice way to start the evening. Both delicious, he was right. The wine maker happens to be here. Absolute legend from Slovakia. Anyway we are going on holiday to Slovakia now. This is what London wine bars should be about. Trying fun new wines, interesting conversation with strangers, and an unexpected new place that becomes a new favourite. Still a local secret. Keep it that way.

Highly recommend! It’s my go to place to catch up 1 on 1 with someone because downstairs has a super cozy and intimate atmosphere. The boards are good value and I like that you can pick exactly what goes on it. Wines are affordable but always high quality and it’s great that they change all the time.

Now that I’ve finally left London I don’t mind if other people find out about this place. The service is fantastic and the wines are excellent. My only complaint is that I didn’t go here often enough.

Just stopped in for one drink to kill some time but will go back again. Really great service and a friendly vibe.

Loved it, cosy and intimate wine bar with a great selection of various wines, knowledgable and friendly staff who can talk to you about the selection. Definitely will be back to try the raclette.

Loved meeting Jamie when I visited Hackney in April. He was so kind and accommodating, with tons of tips on what to do in the city. Besides being open later than most spots, he serves lovely natural wines and snacks. That day Marion was selling her ceramics so it was a special last night in London. Thank you for welcoming me in your charming sunny wine bar. I look forward to visiting again from Amsterdam!
