Nobu Miami - Review - Miami Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"Nobu is a national chain of upscale Japanese restaurants you’ve probably heard name-dropped by a rapper before. The Miami location is inside the Eden Roc hotel, in a dining room that feels plucked from LA in the year 2006. It’s predictably touristy inside, with an incessant soundtrack of vague dance music. Dinner here isn’t all bad news. The service is good, they make a washu ribeye topped with crispy onions that we don’t regret ordering, and walking through the lobby of the Eden Roc does make us feel a tad glamorous. But most of the food is various levels of disappointing, especially considering the price you’re paying for it. There just isn’t a good reason to come here over, say, Makoto—or one of the other excellent sushi restaurants in Miami." - Ryan Pfeffer

10 Best Bars for Miami Winters | Eater

"Most people go to Nobu for its world-class Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. The name of the restaurant’s head chef alone — that’s chef Nobu Matsuhisa — is enough to make any foodie’s stomach growl. The choicest tables also have a view of the Nobu Hotel’s swanky pool deck. Even in December, it’s still hot in Miami. Cool off with a selection of the best sushi you’ve ever eaten or indulge in a wagyu steak. A bright, citrusy cocktail brings out umami flavors best, so try a Wild Orchid, made with Grey Goose Vodka, black orchid tea, elderflower lemonade, blackberries, and lemon." - Marcy Franklin

From the moment I checked in until I checked out, everything was fantastic! Sheldon and Krystal provided the best hospitality I have ever had at any hotel. Their genuine kindness and knowledge of the hotel was unmatched and unscripted. The dining experience was just that, an experience. Food was very good and the birthday desert was amazing. It is a bit pricey for the portions of the meat and is a la carte style but, the lamb chops were delicious. My view from the 14th floor was beautiful. I didn't care if it was raining almost my entire stay here and I didn't get to enjoy the pool. The restaurant, bar lobby and hotel itself was a plenty to enjoy. I highly recommend staying and dining at Nobu.

Google
Great sushi place but I expected higher quality sushi for the price. The vegetarian sushi was great! The chef would make any combination we asked for. The spicy salmon was a bit mushy. Cocktails were good but $$$$. Nice greeting from the entire staff when you first arrive and great service throughout.

I finally made it to Nobu after putting it off, thinking it might be just another overpriced fancy spot. But wow, the food was incredible. Every dish was seasoned perfectly, and the flavors blended so well. The service was excellent, and the interior had a chic and inviting vibe. I couldn't resist snapping some cute photos in front of the iconic Nobu sign—such a fun experience. I ordered the Aji Loma cocktail, which was both refreshing and flavorful. For appetizers, I had the Shrimp Tempura and Shrimp Kushiyaki, both prepared exquisitely. The highlight was the King Crab Amazu Ponzu; the tender crab paired beautifully with the tangy sauce. This dining experience was truly memorable, and I look forward to returning. Definitely worth the price—a solid 10/10!

Google
The best dining experience I’ve had, hands down! The waiter always made sure we were taken care with drinks, yet somehow wasn’t really noticed- which I thought is a really nice experience! The food came out with perfect timing. We pretty much tried everything that’s a classic on the menu and it was all phenomenal. Our favorites were crispy rice with spicy tuna, a5 wagyu, and new style sashimi. Obviously pricey, but again it was beyond worth it!

Had a fantastic lunch at Nobu Miami — their lunch special was a great deal and absolutely delicious. The miso black cod was perfectly cooked, the salad was fresh and flavorful, and dessert was light and satisfying. The ambiance is elegant and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for a classy, well-priced midday meal.

Google
Great dining experience at Nobu. The service was very good, informative of the menu, and very friendly. Lots of food and drink options that work for everyone. The food was very fresh and well prepared sushi. Presentation was also great and you can request special rolls for vegetarians. The ambiance is nice, but is standard and could be a bit nicer for a Nobu. Highly recommend the tempura and lychee martini.

Google
Our entire omakase meal was stunning from start to finish. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food divine. Don't sleep on the miso black cod - favorite bite of the night!

Great food! great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again. Big shout out to the staff, made the experience impeccable!

Yelp
Nobu never misses. From the moment you step in, everything is smooth, elegant, and elevated -- exactly what you'd expect from a global icon. The service is always attentive and professional, and the staff makes you feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. The food? Impeccable. Every dish is a masterclass in flavor and presentation -- from the yellowtail jalapeño to the black cod miso, it's hit after hit. The sushi is fresh and melts in your mouth, and the cocktails are just as thoughtful as the menu. It's more than a meal -- it's an experience. Whether it's a special occasion or just a night to treat yourself, Nobu delivers luxury without trying too hard. Always worth it.

Yelp
We had dinner at Nobu recently, and while the food met the high expectations, the service left a lot to be desired. We were seated quickly, which was a good start, but after that, getting the attention of the waitstaff was surprisingly difficult. My wife was literally waving to get noticed, and several staff members glanced over without responding. It wasn't until one finally locked eyes with her that someone was sent our way. That said, the food itself was excellent. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Standouts included the spicy tuna maki roll, yellowtail roll, and especially the uni nigiri, all worth trying. The wine selection complemented the dishes well. The atmosphere was fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber and price point, I expected a more attentive and polished service experience. The kitchen is clearly doing its part; the front-of-house just needs to rise to the same level.

Yelp
We were expecting more given Nobu's reputation. The service was truly excellent, but the food was just okay -- nothing extraordinary. We tried ordering a variety of dishes to get a good sense of the menu. We had several sashimis, nigiris, gyozas, and a main course. What we enjoyed the most were the sashimis and the tempura king crab. The service was very good; the staff offered helpful recommendations. The ambiance of the place was nice.

Yelp
My son took me to Nobu for the Mothers' Day brunch. I have always heard great things about the restaurant and was so excited to finally go! Well ... drum roll please! Everything I heard was true and then some! The food was exquisite! They had a cold station with a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, mini poke bowls, refreshing salads, some with a hint of ginger. My o my lol Needless to say after I tried all the hits at the warm stations, I went back to the cold station for more. This section also had very delicate scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Behind the individual stations they had beautiful charcuterie boards with beautiful deli cuts. There was a station with a barbecued pork on bao buns. The chef at that stations name is Lexxi. The meat looked stunning and I asked her what it was. The excitement she expressed explaining her creation was contagious!! One of the carvings stations had tenderloin, I think. (No idea what meat, but it was so tender and delicious), with mini roasted potatoes in different sizes and colors. A beautiful presentation but not more amazing than the taste. One of the stations was all mini seafood dishes. I grabbed one of each since I wanted to try everything. There were these balls on a stick that I fell in love with. I think they were stuffed with octopus surrounded by a soft, creamy center and crispy outside texture. There were shrimp with grits and dishes I did not ask what they were, but loved. There was another station that I never made it to since I wanted more sushi and to leave room for dessert. I took one of each decadent dessert and cut it in half to share with my son. I can't even tell you my favorite because they were all wonderful and varied! I guess you know I loved the food. Let's talk about our server, Miguel. What s beautiful personality. He was attentive to our every request but what was even more incredible, is he also knew what we wanted without our asking! He made suggestions about the food, surprised us with awesome drinks and we always had a fresh napkin. Joel, was not our server but he also came by and asked if we'd like something taken away. I had to mention him too! You could tell he was happy to be of service. The managers on the floor, checked on us too. I loved Elisa! You could tell she wanted our experience to be unforgettable. The bar manager Maria also came to ask how we were. She was very nice also. I kind of touched on our drinks. I had a Prosecco with a hint of pineapple juice at the outside bar. It was perfect! I wish I had gotten the bartenders name (he was tall, blonde and very handsome). During brunch I ordered my fave a Lychee Martini. All in all, it was a delightful experience. I'm looking forward to coming back with friends to enjoy their Sunday brunch.

Yelp
When you hear Nobu, you probably think: upscale, iconic, world-renowned sushi right? Well... think again. Unfortunately, Nobu Miami doesn't live up to the reputation we've come to expect, especially if you're someone with dietary restrictions. I was in Miami on a short 4-day work trip, staying next door at the Fontainebleau, working 6am to 9pm at a conference. Exhausted and hungry, I ordered takeout from Nobu via Uber Eats, knowing I have a gluten allergy and assuming (based on previous experiences at Nobu Malibu) it would be no problem. The total? Around $200-$300 for take out. Since the Uber Eats app doesn't allow allergy notes, I did what I always do: called the restaurant directly right after placing the order to make sure they could include tamari (gluten-free soy sauce) on the side a super simple and common request. Here's where it went south. I was transferred to a staff member who told me they couldn't add tamari. I asked if I could speak to a manager, and someone got on the phone who then proceeded to hang up on me. No explanation. No "sorry, we can't." Just a cold disconnect. I was stunned. My expensive order was already in progress and couldn't be canceled through the app. I was left with an overpriced sushi order I couldn't safely eat. For anyone thinking you'll get that signature Nobu Malibu-level service and care in Miami? Don't count on it. The luxury pricing is still there but the warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail that made Nobu a household name? Totally missing.

Yelp
Disappointing! I just thought it would be more. The portions were small and the prices were extremely high. No issues with the service and atmosphere as both of those were great. It's just for the amount of money spent with the size and expectation of food quality, I thought it would be more.

Yelp
Was hyped to finally try Nobu for dinner but am now certain you can find the same dishes for a fraction of the price elsewhere (and I have) so this seems like a place you probably go to for the vibe -- I wouldn't know as we've only ordered delivery from here twice now. But that's what I'm gauging from the other reviews. I have to note: their portion of miso soup is so comically tiny. Have Ordered: avocado roll, spicy tuna roll, whole black cod, miso black black pieces, crispy rock shrimp with sauce, cucumber salad, baby corn appetizer, miso soup, spicy edamame, spicy tuna crispy rice, veggie tempura, and Onikoroshi sake. Crispy shrimp was fine, black cod was fine (but the 2 pieces I had for the 2nd delivery were bomb)! I feel like I've tried a good variety of the menu and while everything is fresh and presented well, the value isn't there (especially with their nickel and diming) + I'm not one to solely go somewhere for the perceived vibe. Leaving NoBu in 2024

Yelp
Beautiful ambience in the Eden ROC lobby. It's quiet, intimate and a great place to meet w/ clients. We joined the vibe for the Tanoshi Hour. Service was pretty slow even though it was practically empty. The bartender made it a point to come wait on us which was nice considering there were plenty of servers floating around. We ordered the spicy edamame, crispy Brussels sprouts, crispy rice with tuna and a spicy tuna roll. Love! Each dish was delicious, the right texture and a satisfying portion although overpriced for what you actually get (and it being so called happy hour). While I have yet to visit Nobu, this was a great representation of what to expect
google avatar

Brooke T.

Yelp
Food was great! We got 2 types of sushi. Salmon and the house special roll. Both were delicious. Seafood is definitely fresh and without the fishy taste. Edamame was good! Mushroom salad was very different. I was highly impressed with it. Lots of different types of mushrooms. Service was great. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and quick! Ambiance was nice. It was dimmly lit. Everything was clean. Had some romantic vibes.

Yelp
This Nobu location was the best by far and I've been to a couple prior! You cannot deny, the view is extremely breathtaking, especially around sunset time. Our table selected the omakase menu, and it was one of the best by far, and that's coming from someone who's visited Japan. If you're stopping by Malibu, you gotta stop here at least once for the experience!
google avatar

Yelp
Food court restaurant dressed up with a pretty name . Looked like A Cheesecake Factory inside. Service was horrid. Food was basic and average
google avatar

Sana H.

Yelp
What a disappointment! Honestly, had such high expectations for the food but did not enjoy anything. We ordered a lot of food and none of us had a good experience. A friend of mine stated that she's been to the Vegas location and it's way better there so I'm not sure if it's just the Miami location. But I wouldn't recommend at all. There are way better places.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice decor. Very soothing and creates the zen atmosphere you'd expect. Wait staff was very attentive throughout. However, we were less than enthralled by the food. No question the food was mostly pretty good, but not the amazing experience we were expecting, given the reputation and prices. We even debated sending back our final dish of the night, a creamy, spicy snow crab concoction. The crab was fine, but the creamy sauce was not to our liking. For a dish that with tax and mandatory gratuity made it add about $65 to the bill, it was an extremely disappointing finish. We decided to skip dessert as a consequence. Mandatory gratuities are encountered more often than not in the Miami area. Of the four dinners we've eaten so far on this trip, three had service charges ranging from 18-22%. Last time we were in the area I believe one had a 25% mandatory service charge. Personally, I find this policy obnoxious, but it is this area's prevailing custom. I can only guess it's due to the fact there are so many tourists from other parts of the world where tipping customs vary. In any case, three sushi rolls and three main course with a single glass of wine came to almost three hundred dollars. All the portions were just adequate to small. Even if the final dish were not disappointing, I could not accord the restaurant more than four stars. While the other dishes were all very good, not one was spectacular to warrant the prices.

Yelp
My experience at Nobu Miami was Nobu-ENO, Nobu Malibu is a way better location considering all aspects. Server: our server was Miada and her customer service skills are 1/10. Honestly she is the one that ruined that vibe and made us feel uncomfortable since the beginning. Her tone of voice was super low and she seemed bothered when we would ask her to repeat what she was saying. She did not know how to explain the menu items and wouldn't give us any recommendations. Drinks + Service : we order a bottle of wine 5/10. My family also had margaritas and a beer, when they finished their drinks no one once came to ask if someone wanted something else to drink, but they were sure very quick to pick up any plates even the ones that still had 20% of food, like they were rushing us to leave. Reservation: when we made the reservation we specifically mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. My 14 year old family member was excited to have the staff sing "Happy Birthday" to her, only for us to be told that we should have asked for it when we booked the reservation (we did) so she didn't get anything special. Restaurant Location: nothing special, just a normal restaurant. The music is super loud, it's hard to have a conversation, it's like a club. Not my vibe at all. Food: I am a vegetarian I ordered the following items: Roasted Cauliflower Jalapeño 7/10 Crispy Rice with Avocado 9/10 My family ordered: Toro Tartare 7/10 Black cod with Miso 4/10 Yellowtail and Jalapeño 8/10 Grilled Lamb Chop 7/10 Spicy Salmon 7/10 I would say don't waste your time and money at this location. There are plenty of restaurants in Miami. This location is Nobu-ENO!

Yelp
Nobu Miami is a total vibe! We started with a selection of nigiri, and each piece was perfection...fresh, melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Shared a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with everything, and their espresso martinis? Absolute fire. For dessert, we couldn't resist the cheesecake and donuts--both were phenomenal. They've also got non-seafood options like the gyozas, chicken skewers, and teriyaki, so there's something for everyone's it's located in their hotel the Nobu hotel which is great and the service is great too. It's a bit expensive for what it is but I loved it overall.

Yelp
OMG!! If you have never been here before, you have to add it to your food bucket list! When I visited Miami, I stayed at the Eden rock hotel. Attached to their hotel is the Nobu if you have never been to this restaurant, you have to try them out. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess and sat at the table. The ambience is so beautiful they have lite music playing in the background. The lighting is perfect for a date night. The restaurant was also beautifully decorated with artwork and things hanging from the ceiling. It was just a beautiful place to walk into. The waiter was amazinggggg! He was personable, kind, knowledgeable, just everything you want when going to a restaurant. The food!! Oh man the food... was so delicious! Everything that I tried had an abundance of flavor. The steak just melted in your mouth. It was perfectly cooked. The dumplings had to be by far the best item that I tried. They had so much flavor. Everything just smashed so well together. I ordered some sake and they let me try different flavors before I decided on which one I preferred. Hands-down. This is just an amazing restaurant.

Yelp
I was wowed by everything at Nobu Miami. The restaurant is beautiful. The DJ was great, not too loud. The food was delicious and many unique options. Our server was very helpful in explaining the different menu options and provided flawless service.
google avatar

Katrina C.

Yelp
The restaurant was beautiful but the lighting made it very hard to read the menu. Service was great. Food comes out whenever it's ready which wasn't ideal because when the white rice arrived to the table we were well into 2 of our entrees. The tacos, although tiny, were packed with flavor. The Mirai Beef was very tender and worth every penny. Brussels sprouts were perfection. My absolute favorite was the Black Cod Miso dish. It made me come back the next day. We did not receive a birthday dessert because they were out but still we were pleased with both visits
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
You come here to say you've been here - nowhere close to being the best, but it's decent. The ambiance is not my vibe at all - very loud music, like a club, but I expected as much from a Miami restaurant. Loved the dessert!
google avatar

Viktoriya M.

Yelp
First time at Nobu, definitely not the last! We didn't have reservations so were seated at the bar, which was fine with us. We ordered drinks- lychee martini and belvedere martini. also got the Nobu Chardonnay which was surprisingly good! After that just started ordering things off the menu. Mushroom salad, crispy tuna rice, yellowtail with jalapeño, salmon with Asian pear, tuna tacos, black miso cod (to DIE for), tuna tataki, Wagyu dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice dessert. Came out to be $580ish for my husband and I. It all was SO good. Truly, well worth the hefty price. Will be back ASAP!!
google avatar

Goretti M.

Yelp
nobu exceeded any expectations i ever had. from the vibrant flavors to the beautiful decor and amazing service this place is pretty hard to beat. I was skeptical at first but this place definitely lives up to the hype. the yellow tail jalapeño and rock shrimp tempura were both 12/10. The service was also some of the best i have ever experienced and servers were very pleasant and attentive! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Juan G.

Yelp
Fantastic food, service and ambience. The hosts are amazing! Great time and sometimes the live music particularly the Cuban Trio is amazing!
google avatar

Jordan E.

Yelp
Honestly I was disappointed in my experience here. It's definitely a Miami hot spot (we did have a celebrity sighting, so that was cool). But outside of that, it didn't live up to the hype. First, the AC was broken so it was super muggy inside. We were seated by a door, which helped with the mugginess but it was SUPER windy so every time the door opened (which was every minute or so) our table would get whipped by wind. So that alone was not worth it. The food didn't impress me, I feel like I've had much better sushi at local spots. We did have the chocolate crème brûlée and that was delicious, but nothing else was noteworthy. Overall, would not return.
google avatar

Al S.

Yelp
This is my favorite Nobu in the world. I don't care about Malibu on the beach or any of that other stuff the hostess and the previous general manager always rolled out the red carpet for me. The ambience is ridiculous. The service is ridiculous. My favorite place.
google avatar

Angela X.

Yelp
We ended up doing the happy hour and lunch in the lobby, so I can really only review the food. Very consistent Nobu-specific dishes to the Nobu locations in Vegas I've tried. The usual yellowtail jalapeño, spinach miso salad, crispy rice spicy tuna, black cod etc. etc. all hit the mark. We also had the Nobu lunch menu later and the fries were amazing. To be honest, the Nobu happy hour is actually not much of a deal (the price pretty much adjusted per unit with the amount of food). I'd recommend doing the whole restaurant experience and get that top tier service. It's definitely an expensive restaurant and if you're looking to get a lot of value for your money it's not going to hit. I'd liken it to going to the casino and know you're going to lose more money than you should but also will have a good time, if that makes sense.
google avatar

Maria N.

Yelp
came to miami for a girlfriends birthday and we had a last minute decision to dine here. walked in and they sat us immediately. it was right in front of a fan in the partially open area so we asked to be moved inside and they accommodated us we ordered a few appetizers and a few rolls and it was all so simple and delicious! salmon nashi, toro with caviar, crispy tuna, chu toro nigiri and 2 rolls - toro with scallions and spicy tuna. ordered dessert for the birthday girl and they put a candle on it for her. I was expecting to be let down bc of the poor service and quality at other locations but we were happy and full
google avatar

Latoya G.

Yelp
This review is for the bar area... I ordered an espresso martini and the Nobu Fries.. both were perfect, but could have used for bigger servings of each for the price! I understand that you're paying for the name... Espresso martini perked me right on up... and I love the slightly sweet and salty seasoning on the mixture of white and sweet potato fries. Delish!

Casey W.

Yelp
Food and drinks were great. Everyone is very presentable. Smaller portions size which is fine since you can try more options. We sat outside and it was nice.
google avatar

Sandra J.

Yelp
Amazing sushi at the Eden Rock , food was really good, service unbelievable great, ambience super extra cool and hip. The decor of this place is really nice, the drinks super well made , the music trendy. Love it!!

Yolanda G.

Yelp
I have to say I was very disappointed with Nobu. I've been there quite a few times in the past ,we were there celebrating a birthday. The portions are minuscule tiny for the price things have changed at Nobu. I love music, but the music was so loud we left with sore throats, trying to have a conversation . The service was great and the flavor was good, but for the amount of money you spend, save your money go someplace else where you get a normal share portion, even though the portions are to share they are so tiny for the price..we left hungry after spending $400.. Nobu do better this is not acceptable
google avatar

Yelp
I came with my girlfriends while we were visiting Miami. For the price point, I was expecting it to be excellent. Sadly, it was just okay. I would not recommend considering the price. FOOD: My friends and I shared a variety of dishes, none of which really impressed me. The sashimi was fine, didn't love the selection. But keep in mind it's 14 pieces for $70. Not worth. The favorite thing we got was probably the Black Cod with Miso, which they're known for. Which was good, but not knock your socks off good, and it's small. The Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna was totally disappointing - would not recommend. It's just blocks of crispy rice that you put spicy tuna on top of. Decent idea but didn't work the way it was intended (I think the sashimi needs to be inside). DESSERT: I did not like the baked Alaska at all. They light it on fire with alcohol and then the dessert really just gets soaked and tastes like alcohol. Yuck. SERVICE: Excellent, as you would expect. Attentive and friendly. AMBIANCE: Very nice, as you would expect. OVERALL: It was fine, but soooo not worth the money. Would not come back.

Mark K.

Yelp
We chose this restaurant for its fresh fish. Some rolls were excellent, while others were just okay, but the portions were very small. I spent $202 and still left hungry. Our original reservation was for 10 PM, which felt late, so we asked if we could come earlier. They agreed but seated us at the liquor bar instead of the sushi bar (despite having space there). The seats were extremely uncomfortable, making the experience unpleasant. We requested to switch to the sushi bar and they accepted. We moved our stuff and sat down. Then, they made us get up and switch back to liquor was bar. Service was responsive and friendly given our seats, but the ambiance was lacking. I was stuck staring at a wall the entire time. For $100 per person, the overall dining experience was disappointing, and I couldn't wait to leave.

Yelp
Finally got a chance to try this place while on a bachelorette party! Every single dish was so good! Great number of vegetarian options, although small portions for the price. Service was great as well, minimal food delays, good timing. Great for any celebration, nice upscale Asian dining, not too loud and very spaced out for celebrating.

Zoe S.

Yelp
Love love love! I didn't take pictures, but the corn appetizer is PERFECT! Best corn I've ever had. And they give you a good amount too. The Brussel sprouts as well, amazinggggg! Everything you get here is just top tier. Amazing service, food, and atmosphere. 10/10 will be back!

Leann C.

Yelp
I'm just gonna say it was expensive, but the service was excellent. Wasn't any better or any worse than the other sushi bar that I've been to
google avatar

Andre T.

Yelp
Nobu always has a great ambiance, the food is good, just overpriced... Was able to get a seat at the sushi bar without a reservation. Food was delicious, ordered the following: - Miso soup - Tuna and Salmon tacos - Sushi plate (chef's choice) Unfortunately service was pretty slow, had to order everything from the sushi chef until a server came by for drink orders.

Yelp
Back to Nobu Japanese restaurant in Miami and experienced the food and service again Nobu is located in a great location inside the hotel lobby, bringing a lot of cool air to the restaurant dining area and tables facing the entrance The food in the restaurant has improved a lot We tried a variety of sushi, sashimi and hand rolls, everything tasted good and was well seasoned, the only thing was that the service was a little slow, but this will not take away a star from my review, we enjoyed our dinner and every dish we had, we will be back
google avatar

Brianna G.

Yelp
Amazing from start to finish! Extremely expensive but I can say it was worth every penny. The sushi was fantastic and the spicy yellowtail was outstanding of this world. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
First time and we love it here. Food: everything is fresh and delicious. I recommend the wagyu hot stone, salmon Nashi, and some of the nigiri options. I don't recommend their toro as it didn't feel fatty enough for me. The quality of toro and the Japanese eels need some improvement but still pretty good. The chef should remove all the little bones in the eel. Service: slow and waited a long time for the food to come out as the restaurant is fully booked. However, our waiter is amazing and pretty apologetic. Ambiance: beautiful design restaurant with chill vibe. However, their tables need to be bigger for the guests of two. I felt squeeze and can hear other people conversation. Especially it's not pleasant to sit next to couple who constantly kissing each other instead of eating their food. So I prefer to a little privacy while eating esp with such an elegant restaurant.

Yelp
Don't come here if you have class. This is so Mid. No dress code and welcomed people wearing t shirts and tank tops and flip flops. Worst service Nobu I've been to. I had to help the buss girl get food onto the plate when it's her job. Walked out spending $700 and the atmosphere is that of a MALL FOOD COURT. No dress code for a supposedly nice restaurant this is the worst nobu ive been to all over the world. waitress doesn't even walk over to us when we want to order more- we have to call her over each time. Food was OK but not worth the price tag due to the service, atmosphere, and foodquality. The sashimi sampler for $70 only have 12 pieces, 6 diff types of salmon, red snapper, tuna, and gross fish. The best thing on their menu is something fried....THIS PLACE IS EMABRASSING. Also Eden Roc lobby is equivalent to a cruise ship.

Yelp
Love this place. Cool ambiance. Red snapper butter lettuce and miso glazed cod my absolute favorites. I loved how they timed our meals and we didn't feel rushed

Yelp
Sushi isn't great, the butter lettuce salad was very good and the snapper jalepeno crudo was ok. I've eaten here more than once due to convenience and wouldn't recommend it. Service was fine and ambiance was good.

Yelp
Savory | Sidecar | Family Style Savory - the meals were very tasty. It is obvious why this is a Michelin-rated restaurant. The meals have striking flavor combinations that justify the higher price point. We had a dinner for six people, and every meal/snack was amazing -- highlighted by the spicy salmon sushi rolls and the chicken dishes. Side Car - I asked the waitress what her favorite cocktail was on the menu - she said the smokey sidecar and did not hesitate. I am so glad I listened to her -- Hands down top 10 (maybe top 5) drink I've ever had. Normally I'm not too fond of brown alcohol, but her conviction sold me. I would go back to Nobu just for that drink - honestly. Family Style - I would highly encourage anyone who goes to Nobu to do waves of meals in a family style. Their menu is so massive, unique, and tasty that you don't want to handicap yourself with just one dish. It would be best if you sampled multiple dishes. Pro tip - Make a reservation two or more weeks out if your group is over four people. There is valet parking because it is inside the Nobu/Eden Roc hotel.

Yelp
I'm back every year! And this time went to the chef nobu event, but ultimately decided to come have a sit down meal at the restaurant after walking around the event. Our server Jeanette was an absolute delight! She was super informative and knew the menu very well and could recommended some delicious plates for the table which we enjoyed very much! Thanks Jeanette for your amazing hospitality and service!

Yelp
Beautiful dinner at Nobu Went with a party of friends. Had incredible service which was great. Out of all the dishes the black cod was the best. The shrimp dish was my second favorite. Overall the price was fair for the quality and atmosphere. Will be back.

Yelp
We went to Nobu for my boyfriend's birthday and it was great. Private secluded dining in the restaurant. We sat in a private corner booth. We started off with 2 tequila shots. The servers kept coming around to bring us new plates after every course. We ended up sharing the big plates and each getting our own sushi rolls. We finished off the meal with a surprise birthday dessert that our Waitress handed over with a candle. It was the perfect date night. Will be back.
