Came here for brunch and really loved the vibe! It’s a super laid-back spot with a young crowd and a great energy—they had vinyl records spinning which made the atmosphere really vibrant. The seating is a mix of bar spots, tables, and comfy sofas. Just a heads-up on the food: they stick to a specific brunch menu in the mornings and switch to tapas in the evening. We ordered a few things to share: • Breakfast Burrito: This thing was HUGE. I could literally only finish half of it, but it was delicious. • TDL & Prosciutto Ham Sandwich: Both were really tasty. The sourdough bread was on point, perfectly crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The service was lovely and very attentive. If you’re looking for a casual place to meet up with friends and have brunch, this is a great spot.

This is a super cute neighborhood tapas bar! It used to be an old sushi spot that I loved soo I was excited to check this place out. The place itself is small with cute simplistic decor. It's a nice listening bar with plenty of different records behind the bar. Staff were welcoming and friendly. There are paid meters right out front, otherwise you need to find street/residential parking. It's right near An's dry cleaning. I came for breakfast, but definitely want to come back for wine and tapas in the evening. Food/drink review: Iced matcha latte: (4/5) This was actually very tasty! I added a hint of vanilla and it was delicious! Breakfast burrito: (4/5) The dipping sauces are yummy. The burrito itself was very egg heavy. Overall, pretty decent.

Such a cute breakfast spot with equally delicious food. Walked in on a Saturday morning, no wait to be seated. We both got the breakfast burrito which was the perfect proportion of egg, bacon and potatoes and so yummy. I got the honey matcha and I can be very judgy about my matcha, this one was amazing. The vanilla latte was also perfect. Really good vibes, great music and good service.

My family and I came here for breakfast and loved it. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was excellent, and the place was very nice. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Mid-century vibe, with the vinyl records, playing in the background, and the warm wood tones in the decor makes this coffee and food joint feel groovy! The food and drinks are very well put together, so this makes it a must visit place on Adams Ave. I'll be back on an evening when Tapas are being served and a cool DJ is spinning some cool tunes!

Really cool atmosphere! Not optimal for remote work but definitely doable. Not many outlets. The aesthetic is super trendy and memorable. The record player and records lining the wall are a nice unique touch. Plenty of bar seating and two person spots. It was pretty empty midday. Definitely not a traditional coffee shop, mostly a bar vibe. Would go back in the evening!

Where to start… You step inside and are instantly immersed in a vibrant, effortlessly cool atmosphere. The space feels welcoming, whether you’re dropping in for a coffee and breakfast burrito or slipping in for a midweek date night. Either way, you can always count on exceptional service, great drinks, and unbeatable vibes. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but I urge everyone to try the coffee from Solana Coffee Company—it’s simply unmatched. And if you’re in the mood for an evening drink, the Pink Matter is an absolute must. What I truly love is that whether you’re with friends or stopping in solo, the staff are always ready with a friendly smile, good conversation, and plenty of laughs. Enjoy!!

I personally found the food and service to be awesome. Give em grace, it’s a new spot people! Everything we ordered was delicious, packed with flavor and thoughtfully styled. The vibe is superb, great music and clean mid century modern aesthetic. Perfect for a date night! Our server Christian was an absolute gem! I can’t wait to go back, bring some more friends, a few vinyls to play and try out some of their cocktails. 10/10 recommend

Decided to come with the girls for brunch, but come early so you don't have parking issues. Place is nicely decorated with what seems a good bar for the evening. As I came for brunch I ordered the olive honey latte with oat milk and the chopped TBLT sandwich. I missed the "chopped" part in the description bc the turkey and bacon were definitely chopped and mixed together like a salad. I wasn't a fan of this version, but the sandwich did taste ok. As for my latte ... I don't know what I expected for the olive oil taste, but I couldn't taste it. I did have to stir every time to drink as the olive settles as a top layer. It did taste like good as it just tasted like a honey latte. Our server was great. I had plenty of questions and she was patient and helpful. Definitely coming back, but for the evening drinks.

I've enjoyed my experiences at Nomade. I liked the dinner menu more than the brunch however. I especially like the Crudo from the dinner menu. I also discovered my love for Hugo Spritzes at Nomade. The brunch menu did not have any specific dishes that were amazing to me, I would personally not come back for the brunch. Pricing is about what you'd expect for a place like this. The aesthetics are nice, but quite loud. Not the best for a hangout since you're probably going to be yelling across the table to hear each other. Parking is rough too, usually just street parking in the area.

We were walking past and stuck our heads in and were delighted by the ambiance. Love the vibe, the decor is on point, love the little "wine shop" where we got a beautiful bottle of Moroccan rose, the menu was terrific and Nomade wins on food and setting. HOWEVER, we would be hard pressed to come back just based on the service alone. The "host" seating guy seemed like maybe it was his first day on the job (quite disorganized and for someone who set the experience for guests was super casual and unprofessional) and our waiter was seriously one of the worst I have experienced in San Diego, ending in a conversation about the origin of Basque food that was borderline offensive. He could not have been less interested in us or in being there it seemed. Completely dismissive. Also, it seems that the wait staff are responsible for changing over the vinyl records in addition to being rude to customers and there were a couple of lengthy awkward silences in the restaurant when they forgot they were DJs as well as servers. Nomade really needs to train their staff to meet the quality of their restaurant. We'll come back when they do.

The ambiance in here is so unique! When you walk in, it looks both chic and modern. I like how they display a lot of records on the walls. For food, we ordered: -My favorite was the Patatas Bravas ($9): which had layers of fried potato along with brava sauce. -Shrimp Skewer ($14): This came with 3 garlic grilled shrimp, along with the tallow-fried shrimp heads and spicy aioli. Our waiter encouraged us to eat the fried shrimp heads whole. -Matrimonio ($14): This had sourdough bread, house cream cheese, chives, fresh and cured anchovies. For us, this popular dish didn't live up to the hype. -The smash burger ($26) had premium ribeye, cheddar cheese, dill pickles, house sauce on a potato roll with a side of tallow fries. While this was filling, there wasn't anything that stood out. In the future, I would order more apps instead. For drinks: -Travieso ($14): This cocktail had blueberry amaro, dry vermouth, lemon, muddled cucumber, and strawberry. It was well balanced. -There were four mocktail options. I got the Grey Fox ($10) which had earl grey syrup, lemon, and tonic. This was a unique drink, and it was very refreshing. For dessert: -Our waiter recommended the vegan chocolate cake ($12), and said it's one of his favorites even though he isn't vegan. We loved this, and how it came with a ton of strawberry slices. I'd highly recommend this dessert. All in all, this tapas and wine bar is such a unique experience that's worth checking out!

I discovered this spot form Tiktok and had a gos in mind one day to hit up little while that's 2 doors down and decided not to wait in line. When I stopped and looked up I realized nomade was right there! So I went in and felt such an eclectic atmosphere here. From the decor and seating arrangement having a minimalist vibe to the wine bar and coffee providing yet another twist to the space. And jazz music with record players everywhere. How did they make this space so cozy is beyond me I loved being there. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Manuela served my coffee and she was very kind. They have unique coffee like olive oil! I was intimated to try it this time but I will next time!

I would skip eating here. Food looks better than it tastes. Super overpriced for how it tastes. Small portions. Again it looks nice. But theres not much seasoning in most of their food. And if it werent for the sauces on the side wouldnt have any flavor at all The vibe is ok. And again maybe looks better in photos. I think if ur in the area alrdy sure. But dont go out of your way to come

After getting a few insta posts highlighting Nomade and its aesthetic listening cafe concept, I decided to try it out for myself. I stopped by for lunch on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by the vibes. Good music was playing and people were chatting over coffees and tapas. The serrano pesto sandwich sounded too delicious to not get, and I ordered an iced vanilla matcha latte to wash it down. Both items were so delicious! The sandwich was dressed on the heavier side, so if that's not your cup of tea, might want to ask for light dressing. The barista accidentally gave me the wrong matcha, but was so sweet about it and remade another one for me pretty quickly. I'm so glad she did cos the vanilla matcha was tasty.. you could literally see the vanilla bean specks. Overall, I liked this spot and its location (although parking is solely whatever's available on the street). I look forward to coming back in the evening time or to listen to their next featured DJ set.

Nómade was an amazing place to sit and study at in the late morning. The ambience was fantastic, the servers were attentive, and the overall atmosphere was lively. Shout out to Miguel along with the amazing bartenders / baristas. We ordered drinks and later split a sandwich. The espresso and matcha strengths were great quality and the syrups super fragrant. Their cold foam of the day was fresh and thick; I can't wait to try a different flavor a different time. The Serrano Pesto Sandwich was flavorful and hardy. Overall super creamy sauce, textured bread, and well seasoned. Some of the other plates they had looked great too. We stayed for almost 3 hours, they have WiFi as well! Street parking was pretty easy to find and the area is very walkable. We arrived at 11:00am on a Friday and beat the lunch rush; the main seating area definitely filled up by 12:00pm. I would definitely recommend coming in no later than 11:00 to snag a good study table on the weekends.

I really wanted to like this place. The esthetics were super cute. Love the vintage records vibes. I had a meeting on a late Wednesday morning. They were out of pastries by 11:00am which was a bummer. I wasn't hungry enough for a full on meal. I got a Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and he got a Cortado. Drinks came out quickly. He requested sugar on the side. I was excited to discover my friend's wine on the shelf. Overall drinks were fine, service was ok, they didn't seem particularly happy to be at work. Might try it again during a different time.

What a beautiful place to have a delicious dinner! I absolutely love the wood paneling on the ceiling and that's what brought us in. All of the food was not only delicious but felt creative. The cutest spot has added so much to the Adams avenue community. The vibe is pretty common: records and tapas, but the food is pretty good. I shared everything with a friend and all of it was delicious. A pretty penny for sure but if you've got the funds it's a time. Also fair warning they are not big on the inside so the wait can be long to be seated.

Bring on the tapas spots, please. There can never be enough of them! Nomade is unique. Unlike Barra Oliba, our favorite, that serves very traditional Spanish tapas or Mabel's, where seafood shines, Nomade is fusion with thoughtfully paired dishes with Filipino, Japanese and Mexican influences. We came on a weeknight and grabbed a seat at the bar! They had records spinning with vinyls lining the walls. Great ambiance. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered what felt like a little bit of everything starting with some great wines. Then came the Pan con jamon iberico, meatballs, spicy tuna crispy rice, baked cheese. It was all great! The pan con jamon iberico was great with a nice nuttiness from the jamon. The baked camembert may have been my favorite of the dishes. It was so creamy and tasty! The spicy ahi crispy rice was also a welcome surprise! It felt a little different than the other dishes on the menu, but was so perfect. The meatballs were good, but spicy!! I can't complain though because the bartender came to check on us multiple times to ask if they were too spicy, but they did result in quite the forehead sweat. We ended our meal with the basque cheesecake, which is the best cheesecake in San Diego, period. We never turn away a basque cheesecake from a menu, so I can easily say we've had our fair share of basque cheesecakes in San Diego. This one was absolute perfection. The top was torched to create a crisp creme brulee like finish. I've literally never had anything like it and boy was it amazing! Love this little neighborhood tapas bar. Only wish parking in the area was easier to make it more accessible!

did my galentines here with my daughter and gave niece we got wine and cocktails we tried their tapas too the spicy ceasar is yum croquettes was also good steak tartar was phenomenal entrees we got the burger it's must so simple but so good and 2 chicken sandos and side of fries was alot of food and for dessert we shared the basque cheesecake which was so good i got one for my gf to go ambience was simple minimalist style which i love we got seated at their couch area which i love love parking is always horrible but that's not their fault so better uber over

This place is so cute! Truthfully, we were shocked they allowed dogs in here because it is a newer bar and felt more upscale. We came during the weekend and it was not busy at the time, so we managed to grab a booth seating area - perfect for bringing our dog. We didn't order food, so I can't add any notes there, but the drinks were good! Ambiance wins at this spot. Would be really cute for a date night.

A unique tapas experience inside an intimate, upbeat atmosphere, Nómade brings the San Diego culture to life in North Park. Every bite of food was incredibly delicious, with perfect combinations of flavors and textures, and bright, refreshing drinks to match! The tuna crispy rice was a standout for me, probably the best I've had! The rice was perfectly crisp, with a hint of soy that let the fish truly shine. The katsu sando was another must get, with a sweet dipping sauce that perfectly balanced the katsu chicken. This is the perfect date night spot or to grab pre-dinner cocktail and appetizer!

Great food and coffee it just gets really busy at times and they appear understaffed for all the volume they have so you end up waiting a long time. I've been to nomade for breakfast and for drinks late at night. I really enjoy their breakfast menu in particular. Their breakfast burrito is delicious great flavor and their two sauces are divine highly recommend. Their coffee is excellent as well I love the freddy cappuccino its my go to every time. The vibes are great. It's a cozy modern environment with great music played on Hi-Fi. Really enjoy this place! It can just get very busy and backed up and they don't have enough staff to handle the amount of people so you end up waiting long at times for food or to check out.

I came here on a Sunday evening around 4pm, it was pretty empty with about 3 tables inside. We sat down and immediately fell in love with the interior and the overall vibe, and you could tell it was curated well. We came for the tapas and cocktails, so we didn't try any of the main entrees. Cocktails were definitely on the lighter side, and didn't taste like there was much alcohol in them. The tapas were decent, and nothing to write home about. I would warn that most of the tapas were on the smaller side, and we had 4 of them split amongst 2 people to feel satisfied. Definitely would come back again for a casual drink with friends, but the food wouldn't be the spotlight.

This has barely touched University Heights and already the place was abuzz with patrons around 630pm. Definitely like the chill vibes and variety of records displayed. The waiter was friendly and kept me company while my friend was looking for parking (super challenging in this area). The cocktail menu has wine incorporated in its mixes. However, I settled on a cab, which was delightfully full bodied and smooth. Food - Crudo - Today it was Seabass and it came with side of sourdough toast. Not sure about the bread and fresh seafood pairing. Usually a thin crusty bread, chips, or crackers would've been better. The sauce was tart but fresh. There wasn't too much Seabass in this dish. Chile Poblano Soup - This was nice and creamy. Now this would be good with a side a chips as well, something to dip the soup in. I also ordered the Matrimonio and asked about the item several times but it was never brought out :(. Thankfully we weren't super hungry and it didn't appear on our bill when we checked out. Food wasn't outstanding for me. It's a nice place to hang out and have some wine and snacks.

Nomade is a cute new tapas+records bar in San Diego that serves breakfast as well! I just got the almond milk matcha latte, unsweetened. The service was excellent and drinks came out pretty quickly. This small restaurant plays great music and have a really nice interior. The matcha was good and the price was very fair.

New and trendy tapas place located in University Heights. I'd say give them some grace with service as they're probably still trying to work out some kinks. Parking: Street parking only. Got lucky with a spot right across the street at 6pm but be prepared to give some time to look for a spot. Environment/Service: -Bar seating available, 2 high tables that can seat 4 people, and many low 2-person tables that can be pushed together for a larger party. We saw a party of about 8 there. Loooved the vibe and the music they were playing inside. -Our party of 4 came with no reservation at 6pm and thankfully, we got seated right away. However, after us, there was a little bit of a wait outside the door so plan accordingly. -It seemed that there were only 2 servers working. It took a little bit to get our orders in and took longer to flag someone down to pay at the end. Drinks: -Their drink menu consists of wine and wine cocktails. You can also purchase a full bottle (all displayed towards the back of the restaurant kind of like at a liquor store) and they don't charge a corkage fee if you choose to open inside. PINK MATTER ($14): I asked our server Mark what cocktail would be on the sweeter side and this drink did not disappoint! Food: Our table ordered family style and it was the best way to try everything out. CRUDO (market price): catch of the day. It was Habachi style; served in a mango "soup" and topped with cilantro, jalapeños, and onions. This was very delicious. KATSU SANDO ($22): 4 little sandwiches of fried chicken and bread, served with katsu sauce. I liked the crunch of the chicken and the coleslaw together. I would say that the flavors are best when dipped in the katsu sauce. STEAK FRITES. ($32): ordered medium, served with chimichurri and a side of fries-- super crispy. The steak was good but not mind blowing. PATATAS BRAVAS ($9): this was our group's favorite item on the menu that we ordered for a second time. Served in 3 square pieces of layered potatoes. SHRIMP SKEWER ($14): 3 pieces of fried shrimp with the heads detached. This was very good. Overall: Cool new tapas place that I would come back to again! Would love to try the Clam Broth that I saw a lot on the reviews.

Tapas and Records aka small plates of food and a collection of vintage vinyls spinning creates for a casual cool café restaurant on Adams Bl in a fast developing University Heights area of San Diego. Parking is a major challenge, I had to circle the block a few times, then as luck would have it, got a space across the street. Currently, only indoor seating, no outdoor seating. This restaurant opened over a month ago and after seeing some pics posted, it looked dark, low hanging ceiling and claustrophobic...perhaps that's what it looked like at night. When I stepped inside during late morning, the light from outside filtered inside gave it a better more spacious effect. There wasn't a host at entry. The staffer who noticed me, also seated me ended up being my waiter as well...a nice French guy name Anatol, who was attentive and helpful. I had previewed the menu online and was interested in a few items, however, was disappointed to learn my options were limited to ordering from only one menu from 10a-2pm. The other menu is available to order from 2pm-close, which had more interesting options than the other menu. I've traveled throughout Spain and one of the food obsessions revolves around Iberian ham, which was offered in the menu but NOT in my dietary preferences, therefore further limiting my choices. The avocado toast and an iced matcha didn't seem very Spanish but that's what I ordered. Iced Oatmilk Matcha was good, looked vibrant green. Avocado toast looked appealing, served topped with a poached egg semi firm as I requested because I can't stand runny yolk eggs. The bread proved to be a little tough, requiring a sharper knife. Not much avocado, mostly arugula and the shredded cheese had minimal flavor :( Some seasoning was lacking. From the other menu, a toast called 'matrimonio' is Spanish for matrimony includes ingredients: cream cheese and Spanish anchovies was more appealing but this was not available before 2pm is simply a major faux pas. A correctional edit to the menus seems necessary, as many diners I spoke to and myself included were less impressed with the menu options than the chill vibe of the space. Even though I haven't tried anything from the menu offered after 2pm, perhaps those options are tastier. Nomade is still a welcomed addition to this developing neighborhood.

North Park has a new listening bar in Nomade which replaced a former sushi restaurant on Adams Ave. The owners also operate El Agave Tequileria in Old Town. Parking is difficult on this block because of an uber-popular gelato shop just a few doors over. The inside had a chill ambiance with sofas, small tables, and high tops for seating in addition to spots at the bar. A turntable setup to spin vinyl records was to the left of the bar. During my visit, pre-recorded music was being played from the speakers. Half of the evening food menu featured tapas with over a dozen offerings. Six main dishes and two desserts rounded out the other categories. Draft and bottled beers, cocktails, and mocktails made up the drink selections. After consulting with one of the bartenders, I picked the Steak Frites and a Na Collins for my meal. The latter was a mocktail consisting of lemon, orange blossom, and soda. My order was placed shortly before the kitchen was about to close for the night. The steak was a coulotte (top sirloin cap) that was sliced into several pieces and served with chimichurri and a side of tallow fries. The cuts of meat were chewier than expected because the doneness was closer to medium than medium rare. The fries were decent, but they could have been crispier. I wonder if the cooks were trying to process multiple items in a last minute rush. I deducted a bit from my rating of Nomade but still rounded to a four star level.

Came in around 1:45pm and brunch was supposed to go until 2pm, but our server told us the kitchen already stopped serving brunch. That was disappointing, but we decided to stay and order from the dinner menu instead. I got the smash burger and it just wasn't great -- smaller than expected and a bit dry. The fries were mostly tiny end pieces, like the bottom-of-the-bag leftovers. We also ordered the katsu and the steak, and both dishes felt overpriced for what we got.

Parking can be tough on the weekends due to the location. It was pretty busy on a Saturday night. The inside is dimly lit as most bars are, but one thing I will note is that it's suuuper loud inside- I was basically yelling across the table talking to my friend. I ordered the Travieso cocktail which was on the sweeter side and was not strong at all. I could barely taste the alcohol, so I'm not sure if it was really worth ordering. We also got the basque cheesecake which was worth a try... just not as burnt as a basque cheesecake is supposed to be. This spot has been on my list for awhile. I don't think I would come back at night but I would definitely give it another shot during the day when it's less busy and more of a cafe vibe.

Quaint new tapas bar that has live vinyls playing and an intimate ambiance. Would definitely recommend coming early during meal hours as the space isn't that large! - PARKING - Pretty scarce, there are a few street spots but you'll have to hope you get lucky! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - There are bar seats, some sofa chairs, and a few high tops. Overall it's not a place for large parties, unless you can get a reservation! Service is slightly slow, although it must be due to their recent opening and still working out the kinks. We did wait a bit to put in our initial order but they did come by every now and again to check in on us afterwards. - FOOD - Nice selection of tapas, everything was easily sharable! They also have a good list of wines, as well as a shelf filled with bottles you can pick from. We got the following items - Crudo (MP): Super fresh, bright flavors with the mango. - Patatas Bravas ($9): Stacked layered potato slices, we ended up getting another order! - Shrimp Skewers ($14): Fried well, you could even eat the head! - Katsu Sando ($22): Pretty yummy! I liked the sauce they served it with as well. - Steak Frites ($32): Both the meat and fries were underwhelming to me, but the chimichurri was nice. - OVERALL - It was cool to see a new spot open up and I do like tapas restaurants, but I don't know if there was much more on the menu I'd be interested in trying.

Went to Nómade on a Tuesday night around 5pm. Super cute inside but not a wow experience. This is definitely a place to share a drink or start your night. Wine was delicious and we got two bottles. My biggest gripe is the size of the dishes. I unfortunately did not check out yelp before I went and was not prepared for the ant sized appetizers. The shrimp appetizer was 3 little pieces that I could not believe I offered to share. Crispy rice was delicious but again small. Would love to come back for more wine but I'll make sure to have dinner reservations after ready unless you're drinking your calories.

I wanted to go to the back and scream at the chef this crudo was so go00oOod. Sweet and savory, bright, all the good words ok. That is what you absolutely must order. We also had the katsu sando and the Camembert which was good. But that crudo, increíble. Also got a Hugo spritz and that was yummy. Service and music nice too, I liked that I could have a conversation without it being too loud

Nomade is a cute new tapas spot on Adams ave that is also a listening bar. Records line the walls. We tried a variety of tapas with mixed reaction: Patatas Bravas: ok, could use some salt/more sauce Cucumber salad: unfortunately very bland Croquettas: very good, would get again Shrimp skewers: good flavor, but something gritty about them Hamachi crudo: (crudo of the day: mp) tasty, I like the heat the jalapeños add Basque cheesecake: amazing, would get again. Drinks They don't have a full liquor license so the cocktails are amaro/wine based. They were tasty, though I think pricey. Service was attentive. Overall, I'd come back for maybe a drink or a certain item but I probably wouldn't make it a full meal.

Dropped by for dinner service with my husband and loved the experience. When we arrived around 6pm it was pretty full but there was room for us to choose between seats at a table or bar. We started with glasses of wine - vino verde - and a delicious bread with tomatoes and jamon. The menu is tapas style with a Spanish and Portuguese flair. We then enjoyed mains of a burger and steak frites -- both great options. The steak was over cooked but thankfully our server gave us a heads up before ordering to try and mitigate it. Burger was well cooked. The vibes were awesome - it's a record bar so we saw the servers changing records throughout our meal. Such a gem within university heights!

2 stars -- mainly for the ambiance. I really wanted to like this place, but after visiting twice, both experiences were disappointing. If you go on a Sunday, be prepared for limited menu options -- they tend to be out of quite a few dishes. The steak frites was particularly underwhelming; the steak itself was just sad, and the sauces served with it somehow made it worse. The croquettes arrived lukewarm instead of hot, and the crispy rice was just average. Even the cocktail I ordered wasn't great, so I switched to wine for my next drink. Service was okay but slow -- our server took quite a while to check in on us. Overall, I wouldn't return or recommend this place unless you're going strictly for the wine and ambiance. One final note -- if you're planning a date, keep in mind that the music is so loud it's hard to have a conversation.

Nómade is just getting underway in Normal Heights offering Spanish tapas, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The European-style wine bars opens at 10 am daily and closes at 10 pm, except Fridays and Saturdays when the bar closes at 1 am. I stopped in for a light breakfast and had the ricotta pistcachio toast and cortado. The toast came on a thick artisan sourdough toast with creamy ricotta cheese, zesty lemon, delicious honey, and garnished with a host of crushed pistachios. The toast was $14. I enjoyed the toast very much. All the ingredients had very good flavors. I really liked the honey and the pistachios. I do recommend they put a better toast on the bread. One side was well toasted and the other was just touched by a little heat. At any rate, it was a great toast. Manuela, one of the bar keeps, made a terrific cortado. It was smooth and rich in coffee flavors and had a good robust finish. I just which that they would follow tradition and serve the cortado with a small side of carbonated water. The service was super friendly. My server, a young gent, had a good sense of humor and manners. I look forward to returning to try more taps and bites.

I really wish I could've liked this place. The Earl Grey Matcha was extremely mid. My boyfriend enjoyed his iced cappuccino. We went back a second time to try the breakfast with no drinks. I got the apple French toast and loved it. I've honestly craved it since my boyfriend also really enjoyed his breakfast burrito. However, the customer service was extremely rude. They hardly paid attention test and took forever to service even though they weren't busy not sure if I would really recommend this place unless you get it for takeout.

Nomade nails the vibe -- vinyl records, muted decor, even a couch for groups. It's effortlessly cool. Noise control -- one moment we're yelling across the table, the next it's library-level quiet. Major fluctuation. Food was pretty but mid. The Camembert (basically brie) came with just two pieces of bread and stiff breadsticks that made it awkward to eat. Crudo was bright and tasty, a little too acidic but still solid. Drinks were good, just keep in mind it's a wine bar -- don't expect cocktail-level punch. Overall, worth checking out for the ambiance and a glass of wine, but don't come hungry or noise-sensitive.

My new fave spot in North Park!!! Vibes, vinyls, coffee, & good food. A very aesthetically pleasing space & perfect if you're looking for a chill spot with good music. We went for brunch and ordered the Freddo espresso, focaccia, & French toast. Everything was delicious and plated beautifully. I have no complaints. Def will be back for dinner :))), 10's all around !

Great remote working spot! On a Friday morning, almost everyone inside had laptops so I didn't feel out of place to work while dining. The breakfast burrito had great filling options - I love a crispy tater tot, but the sides were both different aiolis and I usually prefer a salsa. Otherwise, great service, gorgeous wood interior, and a DJ playing vinyls.

Walking into this place transports you to a listening bar atmosphere unlike any other in San Diego, it honestly feels like the kind of place in Mexico City I've been and thought "this feels so nice, I wish we had this in San Diego." So I'm definitely happy they're here. Beyond the vibe, the food is seasonal ingredient driven with creative touches. Everything I've had from the sandwiches, to the soups, to salads have all hit the spot and fresh in a way that you just feel good after. For the people that have left poor reviews, I honestly think they just don't get it or deserve it anyways. It's a shame that a concept like this can be passionately created here yet have basic people complain about silly things like the music being too loud at a place that has "Records" in the name and promoted as a listening bar, then they want to be a critic when they loudly are the ones that don't get it.

Such a cute little spot! Food were satisfying and the wine I got was great! Service were attentive and relatively fast. Def enjoyed the time here!

I love it here! I love it here! I love it here! Super delicious cocktails, lovely ambiance, and really fabulous appetizers! The spicy tuna rice was incredible (as expected) and the chorizo coquettas were soooo good. Excited to return here soon.

Came to Nomade on a Friday morning to get some work done and it was a great experience all around. They had very ambient music playing, our waiter was super nice, and the food and drinks were great. The breakfast burrito had all of my ideal fillings (wish it came with a salsa instead of the side aiolis, but they were still good) and the cappuccino was to die for. Perfectly sweet and creamy with a strong espresso flavor. I arrived around 10 am and there was plenty of seating, but it started getting pretty busy around noon when we left. I will definitely return for the food, drinks, and vibes!

This place had it all, it has the best atmosphere and great matcha. All the food we got was delicious! Ton of people were working from here like a coffee shop vibe but it also turns into a bar at night!

I have been here quite a few times. I really love sitting at the bar. It's great for an intimate conversation and there is a good wine selection plus awesome tapas.

I made a reservation and arrived a little early, so we were asked to wait for a table, which was completely understandable. Shortly after, another party arrived and was seated right away, and we were seated immediately after them not an issue. We ordered around the same time, but that's when things became frustrating. The other table received their food first, finished their meal, and we still hadn't received ours. At that point, it had been about 40 minutes since we ordered, with no explanation or update from the staff. The restaurant wasn't busy, and there were a few open tables, so the wait didn't make much sense. Eventually, I was told that my order had never been put in only my husbands I remained polite with the server, but by then I was extremely hungry and stressed from waiting so long so I payed and left. The food itself is good, and the place is nice, but waiting that long especially in a small restaurant with no communication and for an order that was never placed is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating enough that I probably wouldn't return terrible service!

Absolutely wonderful experience. I adored every single aspect of our visit this morning. Wonderful service with incredible drinks and decor. We also got food and it was obviously homemade in the best way; deli thick cut bacon, sliced bread, etc. They had records playing the entire time that matched the vibe and attitude of the room (calm jazz when it was quiet and soft rock when it picked up). If I was bringing anyone from out of town, or even in town, this would be our first stop. Also, their mugs were DELIGHTFUL! they had thumb prints for your hands :)

Great atmosphere and decor. This place has a lot of potential. The food was not good though. We tried a lot of things on their menu and most unfortunately missed the mark: burnt bread, tasteless meatballs, chewy shrimp, overly spicy sauces... simply not a place I can recommend for tapas. Service was ok but, their servers need to know when to return burnt bread to the kitchen and not put it on the table. If they are going for a wine place, they need to tell you they have more wines than their limited wine by the glass menu right away. Our server didn't explain anything until we pressed and questioned. Great place with a lot of potential but, they have a lot of work to do.
