Tasty and quite reasonably priced! The decor is very beautiful. It’s not like the *best* taste wise, but I’d maybe come back when I’m in the area and feeling like noodles. My favorite is the Dan Dan Noodles for sure. Would definitely recommend that. I thought the shredded chicken was very dry and I would skip that. The Mouthwatering Chicken was very flavorful and quite pleasantly spicy (numbing pepper). Actually I thought the scallion oil noodles were too vinegary so I dipped them in the sauce for this and it was amazing. Alone, I would not get the scallion noodles again. Something I didn’t like was the menu showed these large servings of dim sum (like 8 XLB), but then on the menu it said only four pieces and it was like $8-10 which I thought was pretty overpriced.

Very nice and spacious noodle shop with plenty of seating. I can tell they were very busy for takeout. I ordered braised beef noodle soup and shrimp shumai. The soup came out first and was very flavorful, the beef was super tender. I found the chopsticks that they had extremely uncomfortable to use (they provide the interchangeable tips). Shrimp shumai was very tasty as well.

What a hidden gem! Seriously, the location on a quiet residential street in the heart of Long Island City surprised me because this spot has such great decor & food! The folks who work there are super nice. Tons of space to sit on benches at long tables. Extra bonus points for Pokémon themed altar. Great spot to meet friends and have some tasty noodles.

Service was ok. That place is very nice inside, with a lot of seating and good decor. Food came out with in 2 minutes of ordering. There is a window where you can see the noodles being pulled by hand.

This restaurant is very reasonably priced and best of all, it takes only less than 5 minutes from the time you order to the time your food is ready. Free WiFi is also available. It also has a large space and two restrooms. The staff is very friendly. Very clean. The space is very large so you can eat in a relaxed and calm atmosphere.

This is the spot where they crafted their noodles. I ordered Singaporean Laksa with knife cut noodles. Delicious!! They have other types to choose from, like rice to ramen... Etc.

Been here three times and the food is always fantastic. The service is fast and nice. They have large tables for communal seating. Great for groups.

I'm picky about noodles, and it's tough to find great ones. At Noodlecraft, I enjoyed the peanut noodles - the sauce was just the right amount and the flavor combination was amazing. Definitely worth a try. The place also has a cute interior. On the flip side the pepper chicken didn't suit my taste because it was too dry.

solid noodle joint in long island city! huge seating area, cute decorations, quick service, and lots of restrooms LOL. they have a decent menu selection, boasting appetizers to hot dishes to plenty of noodles (of course). we opted for what looked like the most popular on google and yelp: the lanzhou classic beef noodle soup. now i'm a noodles lover, so my criteria for noodles is quite expansive and quite high. having tried a decent number of noodle places around the world, i can confidently say that noodlecraft is among my favorite beef noodle soup dishes! the noodles, the texture and the consistency, are very easy to slurp. the broth is delicious, not too heavy or salty. and just perfect to keep you slurping for more. they do give a generous portion of beef too. we also ordered their XLB - this was decent. not amazing or mind-blowing, but this is not what they're known for (hence the restaurant name). solid place to satisfy your noodle cravings!

I've been to Noodlecraft many times. They used to be really good, but I feel like there has bit a dip in form recently. As far as the soup offerings, all are good, with tasty broths and proteins. My favorite is the laksa; great textures (different tofu's), and flavors (coconut milk, fish balls). The problem? The noodles. This place is a handmade noodle restaurant. I love hand made noodles. And if you do hand made noodles, you have to do them right. They used to. But the last bunch of times the noodles have been a clumped, starchy knot. It was actually difficult to eat; I had to take bites out of the glob, instead of slurping delightful, loose noodles. My guess is they make batches ahead of time, store them as servings, they get clumped, and don't liven or separate when reheated. I've not sampled the dim sum offerings, as I go there for the noodles. I did have fried dumplings, which were ok, but not great. Get back to your roots, Noodlecraft; make those noodles the heart of your dish again, and all wounds will be healed.

Amazing place: they underpromise and overdeliver. It's exactly what we expected when we looked at the description. Good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere and decor. Fair prices. We will come back.

Yummmmmmmm a friend of mine introduced this place to us. First time here. I actually enjoyed this place and the food. It was walking distance from my hotel too. We ordered the following... Wonton in Chili Oil 8pcs Steamed Shrimp Dumplings 4pcs Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup Sliced with Beef & Bok Choy Dan Dan Noodle Spicy only. Minced pork, peanut, cucumber & sesame paste Pan-Fried Noodle Cabbage , carrot & green onion ADDED shrimp and fried egg My personal favorite was the Pan fried noodles. I loved the shrimp dumplings and the wonton in chili oil had lots of flavor and a nice kick ! Everything was delicious, flavorful and tasty. Overall experience was great. I would definitely come back.

Decent noodle place in LIC. Everything was served pretty fast and the portions were large. The cucumbers were refreshing and had a good crunch although it did not have a strong flavor. The soup was good and had alot of meat inside but the noodles were a little flavorless. The dandan noodles were also surprisingly bland but you could add soy sauce and chili oil from the table. That being said, it was still good for a quick affordable meal. My favorite thing was the Fried pumpkin with egg yolk. It was crispy, not too sweet with perfect salted egg yolk oozing out of each bite.

Came here twice - it's decent food for the area though a bit pricier than what I'm accustomed to. The space is cute and has an outdoor vendor vibe with neon lights. The tea was great and the noodle options are diverse from different regions of Asia. I like that they have dimsum options for sharing. My friends and I sat there for awhile to catch up and were never rushed.

Anytime someone is chill and still nice to us after my toddler spills or drops food on the floor, I gotta give them credit! Such a warm and cute environment. The noodles were nice and Q. The broth in the vegetarian noodle was on the lighter side. All the flavors here are on the light and refreshing side. My daughter loved the egg custard dim sum, which she called dragon eggs. The cucumber was nice and refreshing and also lighter flavored. Cute interior and a great spot for a satisfying bowl of noodles!

All I can say is wow! Behind an unassuming exterior is a noodle-lovers heaven. The inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you're eating inside a large mess hall or cafeteria decorated with Taiwanese night market vibes. They have so many kinds of noodles, both soups and pan fried, as well as many appetizers that reminded me of home. My fiance and I split the braised beef noodle soup, a pan-fried chicken noodle soup, and their salt and pepper chicken. The portions were huge, but we finished every last bit - it was that good! They have several options for noodle type, such as wide or round, but you can't really go wrong. Service was super efficient. Love this spot!

This casual Chinese eatery in Long Island City features a variety of home-style dumplings, soups, and noodle dishes. We have grown accustomed in the West of thinking of noodles or pasta as a sort of side show - simply a flavor-neutral vessel or canvas for sauce, or at best a glutinous accessory in a soup or stew. Noodle Craft, as the name suggests, hopes to refocus our attention. The layout of the restaurant is expansive, and it extends deeper than you expect with a sleek appearance and lots of ornamental lamps, umbrellas, and signs along the ceiling. To the right, you'll likely find a man behind a glass window hand pulling dough into the very noodles served in your bowl. The menu is an approachable length, which is slightly unusual from a traditional Chinese restaurant but welcome. Quality over quantity, right? We started with a few appetizers, which included the Steamed Shrimp Shumai, Steamed Duck Dumplings, and Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Chicken. All were well-seasoned and tasty, with the lightly fried nuggets of chicken drawing special praise. The Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup was awesome as well, with a healthy amount of meat that had the right balance of fattiness and structure, some fresh herbs and sliced bok choy, and, of course, the chewy noodles. The broth was unctuous and savory with some lingering sourness. A great choice whether it's a hot day or a cold one. A fairly unique concept that is executed well and comes at a more than reasonable price. Noodle Craft is definitely worth a pop in if you are in the area.

Would come again! Food (5/5) - A mean laksa with knife cut noodles, no notes. Got the lanzhou noodles with hand pulled noodles, non-spicy, broth was clear, not greasy. Fried wontons in chili oil were solid, chili oil is more pungent than spicy which I'm used to and prefer. Steamed custard buns were actually liquid on the inside which was very welcome. Price (4/5) - Pretty decent for NYC, ~15 for a bowl of noodles, sides / apps run 5-10. Ambiance and service (5/5) - Casual, brightly lit, has a cafeteria vibe or a much more spacious cha chaan teng (Canton eatery, staff speaks canto). Service was fast, place was clean, staff were really friendly.

Lan zhou beef noodle soup is nice, soup flavor is hearty. I will be back to try the other dishes they have.

Upon arriving at Noodle Craft, I was surprised to find the place not very busy, which I suspect might be due to a lack of promotion because this place was amazing. Starting off with the deco, it's beautiful. We started with two appetizers: a cucumber dish that was crisp and fresh, and a beef appetizer with a wonderfully mellow, buttery flavor. I regret not asking the staff where the butteriness in the beef dish came from, but both appetizers were a great start. For our main courses, we ordered Lanzhou beef noodles and Shanghai Cold Noodles (without the chicken), opting for the round pulled noodles as recommended by the staff. The staff are very kind and attentive. The Lanzhou beef noodles were exceptional; the noodles were perfectly chewy, and the broth had a perfect balance of spices and flavors. Though the staff warned it was a spicy dish, I found it lacked the kick I expected. If there was ground Szechuan pepper on the table for customers to add, it would be perfect addition. The Shanghai Cold Noodles, while flavorful, had an overpowering vinegar taste that was too reminiscent of the cucumber appetizer. Despite this, I highly recommend Noodle Craft; it's a gem that deserves more recognition.

I've passed by this place a few times and always noticed the cool Hong Kong-style posters and cafeteria style setup. I finally got to go inside today and got some dim sum staples: bbq pork bun, pork dumplings, and duck dumplings. I was really pleasantly surprised by how good the duck dumplings were - there was a mix of things inside that helped to enhance the duck flavor. The outside of the duck dumplings are a mochi style covering which is a fun twist on the typical dumpling. The bbq pork bun was typical but delicious. The pork dumplings were great - just a note they come 4 to a dish vs the typical 6 to a dish. We were served quickly and everything was hot and ready to eat. One thing to note is their chopsticks are unique: they come with wooden tips that you plug into the main chopstick frame. Maybe it's something others' are used to, but it was new and unconventional for me - but I really like that concept since it wastes less wood and the chopsticks feel more durable. I really want to come back when it's a little colder and try their hot noodle soups and chili oil wontons. I do want to enjoy summer a little longer, but I can't wait for when I crave these warming dishes in winter.

Came here with a friend for an earl dinner on Wednesday and was impressed with the quality and taste! I had a Braised Beef Noodle Soup and split a Wonton Soup with my friend. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup is probably one of the best I've had in NYC; I always like to try Beef Noodle Soup at Chinese/Taiwanese restaurants and this is definitely one of the 2 or 3 best ones I've had. The braised beef was super tender, the noodles were fresh, and the broth wasn't too heavy but still flavorful. The Wontons were also solid; not too doughy and packed good flavor. Service was quick and attentive. There's also a lot of space in the restaurant so it's good for both larger groups and small parties. I look forward to coming back and trying different dishes on the menu!

4.25 stars Pros: - large indoor seating (great for big groups) + outdoor seating - Hand pulled noodles were delicious and we loved the flat pulled noodles for the pan fried noodle (pay the extra money and get the double portion and you'll have food for multiple days.) - noodle soups were delicious - loved the dim sum (shrimp dumplings) - quick service Cons - scallion pancake and bok choy were okay Cant wait to go back here in the winter! Highly recommend

Pretty fast service and good food, I think pretty cheap too for the amount of food that you get. I think the dan dan noodles were amazing and were mixed well with the greens which actually added too to the noodles. I also got some chicken dumplings which was maybe too much food for one person but also great and had so many different good to share with group of friends. I do think the taro milk tea I got was not a highlight and I don't think I liked the mix or flavor of it as it wasn't as sweet as I generally like.

The Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup was a perfect dinner option for the fall weather we've has been having! There is a generous portion of noodles, which were very yummy. The broth is great too. My friends ordered it spicy but I ordered mild and added the spice to taste, since there is chili oil at the table, which was a great decision, considering my lower spice tolerance. It did slightly longer than expected for the food to come out, and the appetizer came out once we had been eating for 10min. Although once they did arrive, the wontons were served hot! I'd come back, affordable prices and good food!

The Beef Noodle Soup (Lan Zhou) was really good. Clean, flavorful broth and I appreciated the healthy portion of noodles- you won't be left wanting more. Also liked the open setup and neon signage- kinda makes you feel like you're in Hong Kong. Will come back, especially when it gets colder!

I really love noodle craft, I've been a loyal customer since April 28th 2023. This place is pretty far from me so I always order through uber eats. I've eaten there in person maybe 4 times. Today I was going to make a video review for this restaurant since I post vlogs. I wanted to put more people onto my favorite restaurant but I was pretty disappointed today. I came in and asked for a table for two, the waiter said there's no tables and I saw two tables that had just finished their food. I said that's okay we can wait. Even a customer said "they can eat here" and pointed to an empty spot, the waiter said they were closing soon so I said okay I'll order take out. As I waited for my car to arrive and a couple entered the restaurant and they got seated immediately. This is the first time the ambiance was not as welcoming. Like I said though this is my favorite noodle place, the food has always been delicious. It has cured me when I was sad and sick but today didn't feel as welcoming. I would give it a 5 star but this was like a little heart break

I came here for lunch on Sat around 12:06pm, they open around 12pm, and about 2/3 of the tables were full already. Once we sat down, more people filed in and soon the place was packed! I like the interior decor, nice and open! For apps we got the popcorn chicken (this was delicious and juicy!!), and the sliced beef in chili oil (love the spicy kick). For the noodle soups you can pick from 5 types of noodles. I got the laksa with knife cut noodles; this was my first time having laksa so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was creamy kind of like curry but then I could taste the coconut milk. Interesting flavors. My bf got the lan zhou beef noodle soup with roung noodles (the broth was pretty good!). The noodle soups were great for a nice winter cold day. I would come back to try the dimsum and/or the other dishes as well.

High time I reviewed Noodlecraft -- this neighborhood staple, this classic comfort, a restaurant I've hit up maybe 10 times and brought up to many a friend. So often do I pass the storefront and see but a few lone diners, which boggles my mind because the place is just so good?? Why is it not packed?! I need Noodlecraft to stay up and running for as long as I'm in New York, and then for even longer after that. These are quite possibly my favorite Chinese noodles in the city -- most are fairly accessible at $12-16 a pop. The service is quick, the decor is cute, and the ambience is always good. My favorite dishes in order are: 1. Beef Braised Noodle Soup (w flat pulled noods) 2. Dan Dan Noodles (w round pulled noods) 3. Lan Zhou Noodle Soup 4. Singaporean Laksa 5. Peanut Butter Noodles 6. Curry Chicken Soup #1 and #2 are stand-out faves. From the rich and hearty soup in #1 to the perfect mouthwatering spice in #2, you really can't go wrong. I had the Beef Noodle Soup at Yumpling the other day and gosh, it couldn't compare. Also my friend who lives in LA Chinatown said the Dan Dan Noodles here were better than the ones she had at home. Just give that a good think. #3-6 are alright choices otherwise. Don't get the bubble tea though. This is not the place for it. Anyways, that's a wrap on one of my favorite NYC establishments. People better stop sleeping on this gem!

Really really yummy noodle place! My friend loves this place for their Dan Dan noodles and my god she was right, the Dan Dan is super flavorful and a little spicy. It's not quite the standard sticky noodles and sauce you're looking for: the sauce is a little more liquid and the noodles are chewier but it definitely packs a pinch. The Singapore laksa is also very flavorful, with a nice coconut base that isn't too sweet, and has a lot of fish balls and tofu skin. Only the boba was mediocre, but you should go to one of the many boba places nearby if you really want boba. Also decently affordable, the Dan Dan was $13.5 and the laksa was $15. There's a lot of seating inside (some tables and long benches) so it's a great place to go with a larger group. Service was super fast.

Great food in a clean environment. Always fresh. Tasty. Great portion size. Well priced. One of the best in LIC.

Coming back from Sydney, I am just dying to find a place where I can get a good bowl of laksa. I want to say this place did a pretty good job and I want to say so far the best that I have tried since I used to never ordered it because I never found anything comparable to the one in Sydney. Cute place and friendly staff and great addition to LIC.

We had a great family meal here. I had the perfect bowl of Dan Dan noodles. Sizes are generous which was welcome experience in today's economy. We also loved that the noodles were fresh and there were lots of choices of noodle. The ambiance is like that of a food hall with wide open space and large tables. We thought it was quaint and definitely good for a larger party. We hope to be back.

Noodlecraft is an underrated noodle shop in LIC. It's one of the first restaurants I've been to in the area, and it's easily on the top of my list to recommend if you're looking for hand pulled noodles. I've almost tried every dish here, but the Singaporean laksa is usually my go to for a warming bowl of noodles. They have different noodle choices so feel free to try them all -- the round pulled noodle is my top choice that fits with the majority of the dishes. Service is efficient here. The workers are also really nice. It gets busier during the evening hours, but I was still able to get a table for 5 on a Friday evening without a problem! They were giving mini pineapple buns for free as a lunar new year celebration and these were so delicious!

Came for lunch with a friend and had a great meal here. I ordered the Traditional Singaporean laksa, which was amazing, and my friend liked her Shanghai cold noodles with shredded chicken. Definitely will be ordering delivery from here this winter!

Loved the ambiance of the place. Came in at around 1 PM and had my choice of seating. Sat myself at a longgg table with tons of space and got acquainted with the menu. Dim sum is on the pricey side given that its on LIC, but since you came here because of the name you should try the noodles. I got the braised beef noodles; meat was tender and well seasoned. Round noodles had great texture and satisfying slurp. Overall solid place to try.

Randomly stumbled upon this place on a whim and discovered a gem! Noodlecraft is not only beautiful on the inside, the hand-pulled noodles are amazing here too. We tried the popcorn chicken which was fried perfectly with juicy morsels of chicken as an appetizer. We were in the mood for dry noodles so we tried 3 separate types: the zha jian noodles (which have a rich saucy umami taste), the cold noodles with stredded chicken, and the dan dan noodles. All three were excellent but if I had to choose two only, I would get the zha jian noodles and the dan dan noodles. Service here is great, very friendly, although they do get busy due to the traffic here. Also tried the boba which was surprisingly decent given that drinks are not their main focus. Definitely a must try in LIC. In a place with great asian food, noodlecraft still stands out.

Came back here a couple times and it has since dropped in quality. Noodles seem overcooked and broth was a little lackluster

Solid noodle place in LIC and really close to Gantry Park! My friends and I stopped by for late lunch on a Sunday and it was pretty empty with a lot of seating to choose from. At first we thought it was a food court because of the layout of the restaurant, but it's definitely a dine in place (although we saw many people getting take out, so seems like it's a popular take out place as well). Our server was extremely kind and very knowledgeable; she gave us many recommendations regarding dishes and what kind of noodles to get for each dish. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I've been searching in NYC for the best 炸酱面 / Zha Jiang Mian (zjm) for 30 years since my favorite noodle places chef had left. I went to NoodleCraft today and ended my journey on finding it. Despite its missing an ingredient, 5 spices tofu, I still rank their zjm as 95% good. I would've given a total of 4 stars, but for that bowl of zjm is too expensive.

It would be 4 to 4.5 stars for me! I enjoyed the dish I picked which was the Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup. Apparently the noodles are handmade and the broth was good. They really skimp on the beef though unfortunately. I also tried the Curry Noodle Soup which is a pass for me. If you come here, definitely try the Lan Zhou Beef Noodle before anything else!

the noodles all have a bouncy, chewy texture to them and they have seatings for big groups. A good variety of authentic chinese food in the heart of LIC!

Great Taiwanese noodles in NYC are so hard to find, especially amazing beef noodle soup and zha jiang mian! I recently came across this place called @noodlecraft in LIC and am so glad I did. Ambiance/Service: When you walk into the restaurant, you are met with food hall-style benches and beautiful decor all around! The way that they have the place decorated makes you feel like you're in Asia eating streetside. They have bright neon signs above the kitchen to look like the outside of a restaurant and it looks amazing! Additionally, the staff was so friendly and made sure to take care of anything we needed. Food: I just have to say that I'm at a loss for words because of how good this place is! The ginger scallion chicken was very fragrant with the perfect ginger scallion sauce paired with juicy shredded chicken, which was refreshing and delicious. The Wontons were solid, but in my opinion, they weren't anything special. The Beef Short Ribs were also good but just nothing that I would go out of my way to order. The Salted Egg Custard Buns were so good and are a must-order! Now onto the noodles, the zha jiang mian instantly brought me back to my childhood. It was made how I remember it growing up and had all the flavors of Taiwanese comfort food that I was seeking. As for the beef noodle soup, this was incredibly well made. The broth was very flavorful, not overly salty, fragrant with how Taiwanese-style beef noodle soup would taste, and the beef was SO TENDER! They also give you 5 styles of noodles to choose from so you can select the type that you like the best. What we ordered: A-5 Cantonese Ginger Scallion Shredded Chicken A-11 Wontons in Chili Oil B-7 Steamed Salted Egg Custard Buns B-16 Beef Short Rib w/ Black Pepper Sauce C-1 Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup D-1 Minced Pork Noodles (Zha Jiang Mian) Overall, I am a huge fan of @noodlecraft and will recommend others to come to try it out. I will be adding this location to local eats that I include in my rotation for noodles. I was impressed with the food, the decor, and the service! Rating: 8.8/10

Stumbled across this in LIC and the interior was so cute!! Got to sit right at the window and saw the chef pull the noodles which was super cool. I would recommend the braised beef and Singapore curry and the round hand pulled noodles. It was so fresh and cooked to the perfect texture

This place is fantastic. I walked in at 11:45am, 15 minutes before they open. Lots of places would tell you to leave, or they'd have the doors locked up tight. The staff were eating their staff meals, and I asked if I could just sit and wait for them to open. One of the staff left her lunch to get up and get me a menu and get me seated. Very gracious. At 12:01pm, a waitress was taking my order. 15 minutes later, my Pork Soup Dumplings came out (I've had tastier elsewhere, but these were good), along with my Shrimp Dumplings (these were excellent... whole shrimp, tightly packed into the dumpling) and the Hong Kong Style Wonton Soup and the knife-cut noodles I requested. I love knife-cut because of the irregular shape and how soft they are. The soup was really good. It tasted very natural. Service was good throughout the meal, and they would ask if they should remove empty plates before actually taking them away...a fine point of service that I really appreciate. If you live around here, you should try this place. Not cheap, but they really don't need to be. By 12:40pm, the place was almost packed.

I came here on a Friday night with 2 other friends. We came in right after 8pm so there was no wait and we were seated right away. Pretty spacious area and as we were sitting there, there were lot of take out orders being picked up so I figured the place was good! They have a good selection on their menu and service was quick. Each of us ordered a noodle bowl and I like how you can choose what size noodles you want. The strangest thing about this place was their chopsticks. They had these DIY chopsticks where you just place the wooden ends into a reusable top. You'll see it when you go there! I got the Singaporean Laska with flat noodles. The noodle texture was so yummy especially if you like your noodles THICC!

I came here with Hubby after he picked me up from my early dinner with my friend at another restaurant nearby. Wow! How much can I eat? I had chicken noodle soup, and we shared some appetizers like shrimp dumplings and shrimp shumai. I've tried too many shrimp dumplings, so this is hard to compare because I thought they were pretty much the same. The place was pretty big inside, with a lot of room, but we sat outside to watch the car just in case they needed us to move it. My chicken noodle was all right. This is a good place for some hot soup in the winter!

It was great. With the soup, noodles. I'm unsure about how many stars to award. The tastes were enjoyable. I wanted to try their other menu, so I would return. Also, I adore the atmosphere of the establishment. In contrast to other restaurants with unique interiors, this one has simple yet distinctive decor. Chinese-themed, but not in a way that makes you feel like you are in China. I give them 4.5 stars overall.

About time I review this neighborhood establishment. Prices are very reasonable ($12-20 depending on bowl) and vibe here is chill casual with cute Chinese decor. You get to choose from an assortment of different types (4 types) of noodles to personalize your experience Recommend: Noodles: Singaporean laksa, seafood laksa, Dan Dan noodles, classic beef Lanzhou noodle soup, zha Jiang mian noodles, chicken noodle soup Apps: Ginger scallion chicken, Szechuan shredded chicken with red chili oil. By this rate I'll probably eat everything on this menu in like a week or so...

Above average noodles across the board, but there are better bowls of beef noodle soup nearby. I would avoid getting their Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken (yan su ji), was soggy and the chicken was dry. Cool ambiance. Would stop by if I'm in the area, but wouldn't make a dedicated trip.

Located in a quiet Long Island City neighborhood, this noodle shop is a hidden gem. The indoor portion is quite spacious and with a traditional Chinese decors. The menu contains a wide range of items, not limiting just to noodles- dim sum, Chinese pancakes, chicken nuggets, and bubble teas as well. The salt and pepper chicken was really tender, with the right level of crispiness. The Singaporean Laksa was a novelty to me, it turned out to be fun and tasty -- mixing coconut milk, fried tofu skin, and rice noodles was a great idea. Our server was friendly and quick. Overall good experience!

Arrived at noon on a Sunday, which was the time it opened up. There was already a party seated inside. We ordered the Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, Singaporean Laksa Noodles and Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The laksa broth was light and pleasant. I chose pulled noodles instead of the typical vermicelli. They were good textured. The dumplings were tasty but could be better. I would come back to try their other hand pulled noodles.

Love their noodles! Order at the counter, sit, and someone will bring your food. I like their Braised Beef Noodle Soup, but my favorite is the Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup. I usually add copious amounts of chili oil I later regret. For non-soup bowls, I love the Dan Dan noodles. I switch between three of their made-to-order noodles on my mood that day: flat pulled, knife sliced, or round pulled noodles. They also have pre-made egg and rice noodles (latter of which is gluten-free). Their dimsum is ok, but I definitely come back for the noodles. We've also done takeaway with their noodles, and were pleased with the quality. The staff/owners are always very friendly, and service is quick.

As of Dec 2021 during COVID-19: The restaurant was previously a Korean restaurant called Green Street prior to 2020 and has been remade into a Chinese noodle shop called Noodlecraft. Ever since they opened in spring 2021, this noodle shop (mostly Chinese cuisine based, however, they do make laksa) would be my default for, specifically, cold sesame noodles. They also have dim sum appetizers here which is served all day, noodle soup, and rice dishes. Price range is LIC prices which is understandable. Service is accommodating; the owners there are generous and kid friendly, especially when my nieces visited and let them play a game in which they had to find cat plushies inside the restaurant. Accepts cash, card, and Applepay. Order ahead for pickup, dine in, dine outdoors, and takeout available. Bathrooms available. Masks indoors. Great for kids. Bon appetit!

Came on a Friday night around 7 or 8 PM w a group of 6 and we didn't have to wait. There's a decent amount of seating and both large and small style tables which is helpful for different party sizes! I ordered the Zha Jiang Minced Pork Noodles, which were really tasty! A hint of sweetness and a good option if you don't want soup noodles or spicy noodles. The noodles definitely seemed homemade based on the texture! They had a bit of spring to them and we're super yummy! I definitely want to come back and try their other noodles :)

I don't spend too much time in Long Island City - so this was a treat getting to explore a much quieter part of NYC. Noodlecraft is just around the corner from the friends I was visiting, ideal for one of the first bone-chillingly cold nights of this upcoming winter season. The restaurant was clean with plenty of two-top or picnic bench-style seating. My boyfriend and I split orders of the Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup with rice noodles and Dan Dan Noodle with round pulled noodles. There was good spice to both dishes, which helped us thaw out. The Dan Dan Noodles definitely lean on the more-seasoned end, and the rice noodles didn't retain much flavor from the Beef Noodle Soup - would probably try it with the knife sliced or flat pulled noodles next time. All-in-all, you can't beat the lack of crowds, speedy service, and hot noodles on a cold night - not to mention Queens prices!

This place has yummy noodles. I love noodles - especially in warm soup during the winter months. So coming to this place is what I needed for the winter. When you first walk towards the entrance/ exit doors you see this cute outdoor seating area that's heated and closed off so no wind can get inside. When you walk-in you see a large food hall type of restaurant. It is nicely decorated and inviting. You may dine-in, dine-out, order for take out or do delivery. Anyways, what was ordered was the Pickled Crushed Cucumber in Garlic Soy Sauce and the Taiwanese Salt and Pepper Chicken. I enjoyed both for its seasoning and the portion was big for it both being an appetizer. Of course, I had to get noodles as my entree. Ordered the Classic Lan Zhou Beef Noodle Soup really spicy and it was just the way I liked it. I didn't have to add anymore spice to it. The beef was just the right amount too. Also, got the Pan-Fried Noodles too which tasted like a lo mein dish that you get at a Chinese food place. You can choose your spice variations plus what type of noodles you prefer. The waitstaff was attentive so that was great too. All in all it was great, except the bathroom could've been better taken care of.
