When My Father Was in the Hospital, I Turned to the Noodles King for Comfort - Eater Boston

"Then one day as I was walking through the Longwood Galleria — a sort of mall food court/pharmacy/bank hybrid space inside the hospital campus — I noticed a kiosk with a sign that read, “Noodles King.” I wasn’t sleeping much then; the bags beneath my eyes were so dark they could have been mistaken for bruises, and I’m sure my clothes were wrinkled, if not too dirty to wear in public. It was lunchtime, I wasn’t ready to see my father, and Noodles King’s menu featured one of my favorite things: hand-pulled noodles with vegetables in chile oil." - Terrence Doyle

Best Hand-Pulled Noodles in Boston - Eater Boston

"Not convinced hospital food courts have any good dining options? Think again. This noodle kiosk in the Longwood Galleria is serving a number of tempting Chinese dishes, including spicy biang biang noodles served with bok choy, garlic, and sprouts. The rougamo is also among the best in the city. Noodles King is open for takeout." - Terrence Doyle

Best Boston-Area Delivery and Takeout, Spring/Summer 2020 - Eater Boston

"This kiosk inside the Longwood food court is one of the best restaurants in all of Boston. Its hand-pulled biang biang noodles are an exemplar of the genre (which has a small but growing scene in and around Boston). Be sure to order a rougamo — which is like a Chinese burger, typical of the Shaanxi province — on the side. —TBD Currently offering takeout. Noodles King - Review - Fenway - Boston - The Infatuation

"Located in the Galleria Food Court in the Longwood Medical Area, Noodles King is so low-key that you’ll be directed next door when you try to order a fountain soda. But you should gladly accept that minor inconvenience in exchange for hand-pulled noodles that are stretched and slapped against the counter right in front of you. The spice in the dan dan noodles is serious, and while the pork dumplings need a little sauce, you’re going to want to take a gallon of that sauce (in the form of as many little plastic cups as you can carry) home with you." - Dan Secatore

Google
When I think of Longwood, I think of Noodles King. What a gem! This was my first time here in 2 years but I always think of it the few times a year I find myself in the area. We got the #1 Xian hand pulled biang biang noodles with pork. This was probably my least favorite of the things we got -- the noodles were rather thick and doughy. They are pulled fresh for every order but the quality seemed a bit off today. I've heard that the biang biang noodle quality is inconsistent here. The pork was $2 extra ($13.98 total) and was generous in quantity. The fattier parts were nice and tender, but some other parts were a bit mealy/grainy. The sauce is a vinegar-based sauce which grew on me (though not spicy as claimed). Overall it was a lot of food and a hearty dish, but the noodle quality was not great today. We also got the #8 spicy Sichuan beef ramen ($13.98). I thought it was strange that they called it ramen but they do literally use the yellow curly ramen noodles. This was really good. The beef was tender, the soup was hot and savory, and the noodles soaked it all up well. The soup was a bit oily and it was hard to escape the oil when drinking it, but it was overall a delicious dish. Lastly we got the #22 Shanxi pork bun ($5.98). We weren't sure what to expect but it was quite a massive "side" dish. The bun part was crunchy on the outside and softer where it soaked up some pork flavor. The pork was really tender. They made a great duo next to the powerful flavors of the noodle soups. It was a lot of food for $36 (seems like they don't take tip?) and we had plenty of leftovers that kept really well for dinner (#22 in the toaster oven is a crispy delight and #1 soaks in all the flavors). I've also gotten #21 in the past which is a massive pork bun beyond what I would ever expect for $3.98 in this area! Juicy meat inside and soft steamed bun... I'll be looking forward to the next time I find myself in the area!

Google
By far the best restaurant in the Longwood Galleria. The noodles are cooked fresh in front of you and all the food is extremely flavorful. My favorite is #1 on the menu, the noodles are thick and the broth is spicy. Note that service can be slow, almost 30 min at peak hours, but the wait is well worth it.

Google
Considering that this is in a food court type place, I am pleasantly shocked at how good the food was! Takes a little bit more time for you to get your order but you can see her preparing it, and it definitely tastes fresher. The hand pulled noodles are delightfully chewy - maybe a tad on the gummy side, but I kind of like that. They give a good amount of meat and it is tender and tasty. The broth is a little more sour than I am used to, but still very good. The only real complaint I had is that it wasn’t spicy enough, but I think I will just ask to make it extra spicy next time :)

Google
This unassuming place has one of the best hand-pulled noodles I've had in the Boston area. I got their No.1 w/ Pork. It's a little bit on the pricier side compared to other options in the food court but the portions are pretty hefty (enough for 2 meals for most). Place is clean. The person meticulously making the noodles put a lot of care into each bowl and the taste reflects that. Give this place a try!

Google
Noodles are hand made. I got a number 1 with pork. It was served very hot. Noodles were very good the dish was flavorful. A few of the noodles were clumpy. Definitely a filling dish. For those who are used to machine made noodles these are totally different. I have made homemade pasta and that is also not the same as store bought. Overall I'm glad I tried something new. Very busy and you will wait a bit longer for this meal.

Google
This place offers insanely authentic Chinese food & definitely reminds me of my parents/grandparents cooking… the spicy beef noodles, dumplings… everything’s amazing 💖 Truly a gem!

Google
The hand pulled noodles are amazing; you can see them making the noodles behind the counter. They were able to accommodate and provide recommendations for my shellfish allergy.

The #1 noodles are my favorite. Best chinese dish from longwood galleria tbh

Yelp
A little confusing on how to navigate this place. it's in a food court and this place is one business but has a dividing wall between what are two different operations. There are no signs to indicate how it operates. On the left side, it's like a cafeteria line where the server will select your choices and puts them in a to go container. The right side has a sign above and two servers they cook noodles and mix with the protein options. You get a number and they call you when it's ready. I got noodles and a little pork for $16 bucks. Way way too many noodles and not enough veggies and pork.

Yelp
The Longwood Galleria is the last place I'd expect to find ballin' Asian food, let alone hand-pulled Xi'an noodles, but this place is bomb! I came here for a late lunch and there was no line. Got the #1 (Xi'an street noodles with pork) which came out to $15. Waited about 5 minutes and my noodles were ready, and boy were they satisfying! They came with a generous portion of chewy wide noodles, bok choy, pulled pork, and bean sprouts. The mixture of toppings offered good variety and the sauce was awesome - savory, slightly spicy, and a tad sour. Tasted super authentic and was very filling. Only downside is the location inside the food court, while convenient, isn't the most inspiring. Will be back when the craving returns!

Yelp
An unsuspecting excellent dumpling and noodle shop in longwood galleria food court. They have a small menu of noodle dishes and dumplings as everything is made fresh. I had the shrimp and chive dumplings, which were perfection. Each dumpling was stuffed with fresh chives/shrimp and super flavorful. The order was quite filling as the dumplings are pretty large. They also come with a nice dipping sauce. Will definitely be back to try their hand pulled noodles.

Yelp
For a place that is essentially a food court, this little counter hits so hard. You absolutely must try their hand pulled noodles, they are sooo good. You can actually see the chef in the back making them if you come at the right time. It may not be the best noodles I've ever had, but for the price and location, you cannot beat Noodles King!

Yelp
Noodles King is one of the rare hidden gems that you find in Boston that makes you feel like you are somehow back in NYC (Flushing, specifically). However, when you pay for the meal, you are like, oh this is definitely Boston price since it's essentially doubling what you pay in NYC. This is located inside the Longwood Galleria mall. They don't have an online ordering system, so you have to come in person and find their menu in front of the food stall. If you want to get an idea ahead of time, the Yelp menu photos are also very helpful. Personally, I really like the ShanXi Hand-pulled sliced noodle. The Beijing Fried Bean Noodle with Pork was also good, but I am not eager to order it again. Most dishes are made to order, so definitely be prepared for the wait. The portion is generous. I once ordered a side of pork bun with my noodle, and couldn't finish in one sitting. And the pork bun didn't taste great the next day after being in the fridge. So definitely pick wisely!

Yelp
Authentic Chinese food in a food court! Parking was a nightmare, I think there is a parking garage available under the food court but we ended up finding something a short walk away. It looked closed at first with a sign to order at dragon bowl, the stall next to it. I guess you can order menu items from noodle king at dragon bowl. In any case, since it was the off time, the person at the stall ended up taking my order. I ordered the Biang Biang Noodle with pork and the Wonton in Chili. The biang biang noodle was good, but was hard to mix in the small plastic bowl so it ended up tasting very vinegar-y towards the end. Definitely get the pork, tons of flavor and nice and tender. Noodles were less chewy than I would like, but not complaining since we're in Boston and not NY. The wonton in chili can be made as a soup which I would recommend cause it definitely hit the spot. The wontons weren't wrapped tightly enough so the wrapping fell off the wontons when I picked it up. The meat inside was tasty and the broth was your typical wonton broth with chili oil. Even though we were the only ones who placed an order at the time, it did still take almost 20 minutes to make, so expect a wait! Overall I enjoyed the food, but would recommend getting take out as the food court can get pretty chaotic.

Yelp
This place is literally in a food court near the Brigham and Deaconess! The soup was really, very authentic! The noodles were amazing! And flavor/spices were just right!! I think the meat to noodle ratio was a little off, but if you like all the tendons and stuff then you might consider the ratio good! I would definitely go back to try another dish!! Keep up the amazing work guys!

Yelp
Holy moly! We got the authentic Chinese food jackpot. So we happen to be staying at the Longwood Inn for treatment at Dana Farber and we are searching Yelp for authentic Chinese spots nearby. My wife finds Noodles King (the s in noodles makes me OCD ..that's my problem LOL.). So after some research we find it's right in the adjacent mall. My wife ordered the number 1...Shanxai Hand pulled sliced noodles spicy. Wowza. Flavor favor flavor, a little oily but worth every drop. They were sold out of the buns as we arrive late for dinner. It's in a mall, it's awesome, better than Chinatown. We found our spot.

Yelp
We love this place. Some of the best dumplings and hand pulled noodles in town. Good value.

Regina D.

Yelp
We enjoyed it. Tasty noodle bowl and good service. The day that we were there, it wasn't terribly busy and it seemed to be a one-man show, but it was still really good.

Yelp
Located in the Longwood Galleria, it's tucked away but well known by the regulars. Note that this place does tend to get busy during the weekday lunch rush and because dishes are made to order, can take a bit longer. Order from Dragon Bay, grab a ticket, and wait for your noodles to be hand pulled and delivered. Got the classic hand pulled noodles with pork. Portion was generous and flavor was there but the noodles were too thick and so wasn't adequately coated by the sauce. Truly hefty to the point where they were hard to pick up. The Bok choy and pork itself were great. Maybe an off day, would love to revise the review accordingly after I give them another try. A solid business to check out, especially if you're craving authentic noodles in the Longwood area

Yelp
It was okay! I think I like the biang biang noodle from Lanzhou noodle in Allston better. I got the veggie biang biang spicy noodle. The spice level was really low, I wish it was way more spicy, but I liked how it wasn't overly garlicky. It ended up tasting more like soy sauce and sesame oil when I got to the bottom, but I liked it. I want to come back and try the cold noodles next time, they told me they were out this time. It wasn't too expensive, and the portion was pretty big. I didn't have to wait long for it either.

Yelp
Get the #1, hand pulled noodles with pork. Worth the wait and the price for the enormous bowl of freshly pulled and cooked noodles! The pork is tender and fatty, the noodles are thick and bouncy, the sauce is spicy and tangy, and there's bok choy and bean sprouts.

Anne B.

Yelp
Noodles King is such a hidden gem! Located in the Longwood Galleria, you wouldn't think such a culinary feat could happen between a McDonald's and a Charlie's Cheesesteak, but this is proof that miracles do happen. Service is great and is family run. I would also say that the 80s decor of the Galleria only adds to the experience. The saddest part of leaving my job in Longwood is that I don't get to go to Noodles King as often as I used to. Please do yourself a favor and go to Noodles King.

Yelp
Cheap and fast authentic Chinese food in longwood. They're hours are always unpredictable, sometimes the store closes pretty early in the afternoon. I'd come here for lunch because they're almost always open then. They usually don't have all the items on the menu, but most of the noodles are available. I highly recommend the dan dan noodles, very good and large portions. The pork bun was very large and filling (only ~5$).

Yelp
The best food court/cafeteria style place in Longwood by far. Never would've thought you could get authentic noodles and soup dumplings in this area until now. Place your order at Dragon Bowl next door then wait in anticipation, watching the noodles get pulled and steam from the warm broth rise. You'll have to wait a few minutes, but it is totally worth it. Highly filling and flavorful with leftovers to spare. The #1 noodle bowl comes with fresh bok choy and bean sprouts, and you have the option to sub a meat. I chose to go with pork and was not disappointed. If I can get a few extra minutes on break, this is likely my go-to spot.

Yelp
Such a thrill to find good and resonably authentic Chinese food in the culinary desert of the Longwood Galleria food court of all places! Noodles are good, but the sauce is heavy on the vinegar and a little uninspired. (not as interesting as what you get at Gene's Flatbread Cafe downtown or Xi'an Famous Foods in NYC). My only real complaint, though, is that a bowl of noodles is easily enough for two people. So eating alone, I got more noodles than I could eat for more money than I wanted to pay. Half as much food at half the price should really be an option.
google avatar

Della S.

Yelp
Probably the best option one could get in the Galleria. The noodles take a bit of time to come out even when there is no line because they boil the noodles fresh for each order. Their shanxi hand pulled noodles are nice and chewy with plenty of chili oil and garlic. The noodles also come with a lot of bean sprouts. I've tried their other noodle soups but they just aren't as flavorful as the shanxi hand pulled noodles. The shandong pork bao is huge and packed with meat. The flavors are milder than the noodle dishes because the bao is not spicy. This is one of the more authentic meals you could get in the area, but I wish their portions were larger for the price.
google avatar

Roman G.

Yelp
On point noodles and dumplings. Staff always friendly and food comes out pretty quick as made to order. This is our go to for celebrations in the Longwood area.
google avatar

Franklin Z.

Yelp
So strange how authentic hand pulled noodles can be found here in the Longwood Medical center, but it's a good strange. Although it's a little tucked into the food court, it's delicious. The noodles are chewy very vinegar-y. I'm just surprised there is such a good option in Longwood. If it was closer to where I go to school, I'd be here every day. Price is reasonable, especially for the 8 buns!

Yelp
Oh YUM. Food court noodles, you say? Don't worry. They are heavenly. I can't eat spicy right now, so I opted for the Tonkotsu ramen. My hubby also went for ramen--his was Miso and spicy. I got the Bao Bao, and my hubby got the Shan Xi Chinese Bun with Pork. I do have to say his bao was better than mine--I liked the deep flavor of the pork in his, vs the more sedate filling in mine. But both were delicious. The ramen was absolutely delicious. Fresh boiled noodles with a bit of chew. Rich Tonkotsu broth. Pork belly. Bamboo. Wood ear mushrooms, I believe. A piece of nori. Sesame seeds. The broth was rich and thick, with that opaque milky appearance of Tonkotsu broth. The spicy Miso...well I can only attest that my husband finished the whole thing. And the bao. I don't know where he put it, because the bowl was huge...I couldn't finish mine. Seriously, if you're not a big eater, one bowl of ramen and an appetizer can feed two. I know that there are probably scores of places in Boston better than this. But on a winter day, staying at the attached Inn at Longwood Medical Center, this was a treat beyond treats. Especially for this SF-Bay-Area-Transplant-Living-In-The-Asian-Food-Desert-Of-New-Hampshire. This was an Oasis. I would not hesitate to dine here again. Five stars!
google avatar

Thomas H.

Yelp
Although I did not eat here specifically! I would still recommend trying their delicious food! I walked in wanting to try boba with my friends and a women from this restaurant waved me down and politely told me to wait there and so I did. Eventually she came around the corner and brought me to the boba shop next door and helped me order my drink. It was subpar tapioca pearls, they were a little too squishy like almost stale, but the Thai milk tea that went with this was sooooo good. I guess the label just never lies! They really are, "The best bubble tea in town!"
google avatar

Jolene O.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and didn't realize it was in a food court, but I was really impressed with the food. The flavor was great and the noodles were fresh. Highly recommend trying this place!
google avatar

Regina T.

Yelp
This is definitely the best cafeteria/food court food I've had! Tried this place for lunch, not having super high expectations, but was blown away. Ordering takes olace next door at Dragon Bowl and he'll make your order fresh. Was surprised to see him making the handpulled noodles fresh before sliding them into the water Was expensive for a food court (~15$), but was a large enough portion for me to get 2 meals out of it!
google avatar

Rng L.

Yelp
Had their signature beef noodle soup. It is fairly authentic sichuan style and the egg-noodle (which visually underimpressed) but turned out tasted well. Decent amount of beef, would give 5 star if there is some more vegetables in the soup.
google avatar

Yelp
Noodles King sells authentic Chinese food and not Americanized Chinese food that are sold in other food courts! I have only tried wonton in chili oil from Noodles King, but I am definitely going back here again and try other dishes! All of their dishes are very fresh because they either make it on the spot or have just made it before serving it to you. Also, you can see the kitchen from the outside and the whole process of making your food which is pretty cool. + the wonton in chili was very filling :)

Yelp
i was in the area and was hungry so i had searched up places to eat. i came across this place, which is in the longwood food court. i saw the pleasant and positive reviews so decided to walk a few minutes to order some food. i ordered #7 which is a spicy beef noodle soup. i was pretty satisfied with the dish and actually quite surprised, as food court food is often not that great. it tasted quite authentic and i would even say could pass for something i have had in china. only thing i would say is that the portions are generous; a good thing and a bad thing. bad because i can't finish and the food will get soggy most likely and is inedible. would definitely come back again
google avatar

Angi G.

Yelp
STOP! No matter what you are doing in Longwood Medical Area, if you like Asian cuisine (I'm addicted to authentic ramen) you MUST go to Noodles King in the LMA Galleria. I always order the Authentic Ramen Bowl, Spicy with Pork. The portion is out of this world, and could easily feed two people, but the taste is so good you'll want it for yourself. I promise you will not regret ordering this item.

Miranda M.

Yelp
These are my favorite noodles and dumplings in Boston! The noodles are hand pulled, absolutely delicious flavor and texture. I got the #1 Xi'an street noodles with pork, so so so good. It tastes like an authentic noodles that you would get at a night market in Taiwan. The dumplings are also delicious, I got the shrimp and chive, they taste like again a very traditional and authentic homemade dumpling. Can't go wrong here. It's a litttttlee pricey, these two things came out to 33$ but in my opinion totally worth it. Would love for them to move to a different place because the longwood galleria food court is totally less of an atmosphere than they're worth. You won't regret this place!
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
FYI those THICK-CUT noods in #1 can now be substituted into ANY of the noodle dishes for an extra $3!!! I've ordered #2, 3, 7, 8 so far w the thick-cut noods and it's completely elevated my noodle experience here! It's not written anywhere on the menu or counter space, so just tell the lady when ordering:-) YOU'RE WELCOME
google avatar

Kristen L.

Yelp
It was unexpected to find such an authentic stall in the middle of a food court like this! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's seriously good. The noodles are hand pulled right in front of you, chewy and thick with a refreshing slightly sour garlicky sauce - an addicting combo. Not to mention the bowl comes packed with food (probably enough for 2). Might become a weekly lunch destination for my coworkers and me (: definitely a must-try!

Yelp
"One of these things is not like the other..." This restaurant should be on its own (or at least have its own food truck). It is definitely at another level compared to regular food court options. The quality of the Chinese bun with pork #17 was better than most above average restaurants I've tried. The pulled pork was oh so moist and the bun had the perfect amount of soft crispness on the outside. The soup was above average. And still much better than the other food court options. The broth was flavorful and went well with the veggies, but the noodles were a little firmer than I was expecting. . May have to wait 10 min if they have to make more buns. But it's worth it. The only exception is if they run out of the Shiao bao bao #16 which happens usually by lunch time. This is their most popular item so it's frequently ordered and they have a limited amount since they're each handmade in front of you. (Cooked for 2+ hours! I liked this spot when without having the main item, so I look forward to coming back early to try them. tl;dr = best option in the food court. Go early before bounds run out.

Yelp
Noodle King is excellent, and exceeds expectations given the location (I mean both Boston and a random food court in the Longwood Area). Staff are businesslike but quick, which is what I want from a food court vendor, and the menu is down-to-business as well, with a mix of hand-pulled dry noodles and noodle soups, and some vegetarian options as well as bao and dumplings to boot. I ordered the dry noodles (#1, $11.95) and the Shandong pork bun ($3.95). Both were really yummy -- the noodles were flavorful with garlic and spice, and not too oily, with some crunchy bok choy as well. The bao was STUFFED with meat, tofu, wood ear mushrooms, green beans (seems atypical but it was good), and rice noodles. While my total bill ended up being $17 or so which is quite expensive for lunch, the bao alone was enough for me for lunch, leaving me quite a heap of noodles leftovers for dinner. Not too bad, I'll be back!

Yelp
Not sure why they're located in the Longwood Food Court, aka the hardest food court to get to (!) if you have a car, but this is definitely a great authentic Sichuan restaurant if you're studying/working in the area! I was a glutton and ordered three items for takeout: 1.) Sichuan Spicy Dan Dan Noodle with Pork Having tried dandanmian at almost every Sichuan place I can, this is definitely one of the better ones in Boston! The noodles have a great spice level and are pretty salty and flavorful. This is also the first place I've seen that served peanuts in the dish in this area. 2.) Beijing Fried Bean Noodle with Pork Aka zhajiangmian, (this is also one of my favorite dishes), but I didn't love Noodle King's version. There wasn't enough sauce to coat all the noodles so they ended up pretty dry. Would not recommend getting unless they add more sauce. 3.) ShanXi Chinese Bun with Beef They ran out of the Shandong Pork Bao Baos by the time I went, (go earlier in the day for these), which I was more keen on trying, but I wouldn't skip on this option if they're out! The bao was soft and well-stuffed with cumin beef. Bonus: Portions are pretty large so great for leftovers!

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the Longwood Galleria's food court. It is not your typical "American" Chinese food; thankfully! The noodles and dumplings are very authentic- confirmed by my Chinese friend. The ingredients are fresh. And you can watch the cooks pull and boil the noodles. It's quite fascinating. My go to is the #6 Spicy Dan Dan noodles. I have tried several other dishes but none compare to the Dan Dan noodles. The Dan Dan noodles are as thick as spaghetti soaked in a "spicy" red sauce, mixed with ground beef, peanuts and herbs. In my opinion the dish is not spicy but I also have high tolerance of spice. The pork dumplings are also very good but are not always available and usually take longer to prepare. I believe the dumplings are made ahead of time then possibly frozen and cooked as needed. If you want your typical "American" Chinese food there are two options next to Noodle King.

Yelp
Much like others have noted, who would have thought such a great food joint could live in the sad throwback of the Longwood Galleria? We got takeout for our daughter who was in the hospital and we have been back since for seconds. Everything is freshly made so plan for a bit of time but it is TOTALLY worth it! Dumplings are to die for and all the noodle dishes are amazing. This is...the King of Noodles!

Yelp
Great new addition to the Longwood Medical area. I tried their Spicy Dan Dan noodles and I'd give it a 8/10. Although it didn't have the traditional "peanuttiness" to it, it was still rather flavorful! Service was quick and friendly and they have their sauces on the side so you can take as much as you need! Always appreciate a place that's not stingy on the sauce! Definitely coming back to try their other dishes.

Yelp
Was intrigued to try this place after seeing such good reviews of a food court restaurant. Our group arrived an hour before closing, and the owner was preparing to close because so few people had arrived that evening. Luckily, we were the first of a few more customers, and I hope this place holds out through the pandemic. The owner appeared to be the only one working there. Everything was so delicious and the portions were much larger than we were expecting. Definitely stop by! The vegetarian options are no less flavorful!

Yelp
The menu has been updated a bit and the #1 Shangxi hand pulled noodles now has an official +Pork option with plenty of pork! My favorite are that entree and the #10 Wontons in chili oil. They are open during covid, as is a lot of the Longwood galleria, with seating. The staff wears masks.

Yelp
Absolutely the best food you can get in the Longwood area. Their dumplings are amazing; their noodles hand pulled and perfectly seasoned. This is delicious comfort food at its best.

Yelp
Shockingly authentic-ish Chinese food in the hospital food court! I was most impressed with their pork bao, "bao bao" on the menu. Huge, filling, very moist, and most importantly a good ratio of filling to bun. I'd definitely come here again.

Yelp
I loved the experience at Noodles King. Delicious menu items at good prices, fantastic atmosphere to unwind at. Each and every single item that we have ordered was extremely fresh and flavorful. All of the staff are super friendly - you truly feel welcome and looked after. I would definitely recommend Noodles King to others and will definitely come back in the future.

Yelp
This place is crazy crazy CRAZY amazing. Was tired of he hospital cafeteria and had a hankering for some noodles at lunch so I walked over expecting to get chow mein from another place in the food court. Subsequently had my mind blown by the vegetarian hand-pulled noodles and been fantasizing about them ever since. Despite being off work today, I am going to make the trek over to the Longwood Medical area to get these for dinner because I don't think I can go on without them. I was so excited to find out they're open late!

Yelp
Okay so you know how sometimes you walk into a pretty average looking food court with some pretty basic food stands and a McDonalds and come across a cheesy sign that says "Noodle King" so you absent mindedly check out the menu and realize that it's like, LEGIT legit, so you order a couple of things and realize pretty quickly that this may be the best noodle shop in the entire state of Massachusetts and either on par or better than a lot of the offerings in the SGV or Flushing, and therefore could potentially be some of the best noodles in the entire US? ME NEITHER WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW HOW ARE THESE NOODLES SO GOOD

Yelp
Eat here a few times while I'm town to visit my dad at Dana Farber. Amazing noodle bowls, my favorite was the bean noodles with pork! Also the dumplings and Bao Bao were so fresh and delicious!

Yelp
The food at this place is so delicious. It's a bit more expensive than everything inside the Longwood Garage but well worth the price. I work right near by and stop here every time I'm working days. It is a little heavy on the oil but taste so good. Just don't drink all the oils at the end haha. I've had two things here. The number 1 is a vegetarian option with hand pulled noodles, it's so satisfying. And the stewed beef noodle soup is to die for. Hope you all enjoy!

Yelp
I do not know what happened today but the Lamb Noodle Soup was just awful. It was so bad meaning, no flavor what so ever, all I could taste was the Chinese Chile oil and that wasn't even spicy!! I stopped eating and threw it out. I also don't understand when you try and order stuff on their menu, they don't have it. Why open a restaurant and list pork bao bao dumpling as an authentic food item and 2x this week you don't have it!! Went next door to Dragon Bowl, same owner and they must think we never ate fried rice before? This place apparently just flavors the rice with soy sauce after steaming it because that too had no flavor. The food looks good but no flavor

Yelp
I came here a few days ago with my friend for lunch, upon recommendation from my coworker who said the noodles were delicious. We went after 1pm so there wasn't much of a line (if you go during peak hours, expect to wait longer). I ended up getting the pickled cabbage & shredded pork noodle soup (#7), while my friend got the ShanXi style minced pork noodle soup (#2). Overall they were good, but we both agreed that this wasn't something to die for (not that it should be, given that it's located in a food court surrounded by major healthcare institutions). One thing that threw me off about my order was the presence of lima beans in my noodles, an ingredient you don't typically find. I've definitely had better versions of my noodle soup in other places, and for cheaper as well. It definitely helps that they have a select number of noodle dishes with descriptions under each dish so that you're not wasting too much time making a selection. So I think if you're just craving Chinese noodles (soup based or not) and need something quick and easy for lunch before heading back to work, this would be the spot.
