"Planters, the famous peanut company, really dropped the ball earlier this week when its “Mr. Peanut” Twitter handle posted a social media video trumpeting the creation of a branded beer brewed by Noon Whistle Brewing in suburban Lombard. The video, an edgy combination of Internet culture, mistakenly claimed the beer was brewed in Cleveland. It failed to even mention Noon Whistle. Several Twitter users blew the whistle on the mistake. Planters’ Twitter handle issued a half-shelled apology, one that Noon Whistle accepted via social media." - Ashok Selvam

We stopped by Noon Whistle Brewing for a quick bite, and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and very family-friendly. The space is large and open, with plenty of seating both inside and out, making it perfect for small gatherings or a casual night out. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We ordered the loaded nachos, which were generously topped with melted cheese, seasoned ground beef, fresh jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo, and a zesty drizzle that brought it all together. The portion was more than enough for sharing. We also tried a few drinks based on the server’s recommendations—each one was refreshing, well-balanced, and paired nicely with the food. Overall, it was a great experience. Between the inviting ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful food, Noon Whistle Brewing is definitely a spot we’ll return to.

Stopped in last night with a buddy as I kept seeing posts about how great the pizza and beer is. I have to say they were right!!! Fantastic job by all at this place. I am typically a sausage pizza guy but my buddy got the beef with giardiniera and it was amazing!!! If you like pizza and beer add this to your bucket list. One more thing, their old fashion is also a stand alone reason to visit.

An off-road, refreshing delight! Great craft beer scene— reach for the Gummylicious! A BFF hosted her Baby Shower here; the ambiance and food were great!

We hop around Northern Illinois on Friday nights trying out different breweries most weeks, and I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. We drink these beers canned from the store but never straight from the tap, so finally got around to stopping in here. Delicious as expected, but absolutely floored by the staff and service. Every single one of them more friendly than the next. Every. Single. One. I could type a book here about all the different interactions...one server suggested the Sunday brunch and how they roll out "can't miss" breakfast pizzas or how another simply asked me if we needed help while I was waiting for a different one to get the "to go" beer from the back because the up front cooler was out of stock. It was insane how nice these people were, totally going out of their way to be accommodating. Honestly never seen anything like that. How could every last one be so damn nice?!?! Thank you to the staff and management for fostering such a great culture!!! We live an hour away but will go here more often just to be treated so well. It really was that good people, go there and I bet you walk away saying the same, it wasn't a fluke or just catching all 12 of em on a good night.

Recently discovered this place and can’t stay away! Really good craft beer here. Great atmosphere and I will be back for more!

Google
This is a great place to grab a beer, bite to eat (try the pretzel!) and get a couple of pinball games in. Their impressive collection of pins includes Stranger Things, 007, Godzilla, RUSH, Deadpool, and The Mandalorin ($1 per play). The bartenders are cool and very knowledgeable about their brews, which rotate out seasonally. I'd definitely recommend Noon Whistle as a place to stop at after work for a quick beer or two.

Google
Great brewery in Lombard. The beers were great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Their Italian sandwich was delicious and huge. There is plenty of space inside and out and they have darts and a handful of pinball machines. This place is great!

My man Mitch welcomed us in tonight with open arms and the greatest hospitality. Our first time trying the joint after seeing several great reviews, we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The pizza lived up to the hype: Understatement. Thin, crispy, and delicious. The old fashioned was smoky and sweet; shockingly good for a brewery. My wife had a sour and I had a light beer as well. Great all around. We will be frequenting this establishment for the foreseeable future. Did I mention price range was incredibly reasonable? 5 stars: Understatement as well. Thank you, Mitch, along with the rest of the NWB staff, for having us and giving us another go-to in our rotation of pizza and drink locations!

Yelp
We love it here and everyone knows who we are when we arrive. Very friendly owners seen on site and amazing bar staff.

Yelp
Great Live Music, the Old Fashioned and Triple Chocolate Stout were both excellent and the Food was good we had the pretzel and two pizza both were cooked to perfection

Yelp
I wanted to write an updated review! There are so many good things coming out of noon whistle! 1. Staff is always great. They come by frequently to check in on you. 2. Their food menu is a decent size now. Plus brunch on Sundays! Sandwiches, apps, pizza. Large portion sizes as well. 3. The beer list is always rotating. Small pours, can pours, cans to go, they have it all! 4. They offer seasonal cocktails. 5. Multiple pinball machines for something to do. Bring your singles and fives to play :) 6. Trivia, music bingo, and other fun events rotate through the month 7. Plenty of parking Still my favorite brewery

Kristin B.

Yelp
Stopped in after an afternoon walking around the arboretum and we were thirsty and tired! This place is spacious inside with plenty of table and bar seating. Husband and I each had flights in order to try as many beers as possible, as well as a delicious turkey club with tater tots. We ended up loving a blueberry beer as well as a blue raspberry beer, so purchased these to go from their coolers. The bartender was attentive and checked on us frequently. Every beer I tasted was good, and there are a ton on tap! There are specials on weekdays/happy hour; and self service water right up front. I want an excuse to come back to this area

Yelp
Our party of four visited Noon Whistle Brewing in Lombard for the first time on a dreary rainy Saturday. I've enjoyed cans of their Fuzzy Smack Peach in the past, so I had high hopes on this day. While we did not come for the pinball, we did come out specifically to try out the Barbie Malort. Yes this (presumably) limited time offering is a shot of Malort infused with pink guava and edible glitter. It's bizarre and unique and worth a try. Plenty of beer choices to check out, so my love and I went for a flight including choices like the fruity Crafting for Cancer along with a Mexican Style Lager. There is a water dispenser to keep you hydrated. We did not check out the food but enjoyed our chill experience at Noon Whistle Brewing, which is tucked away at the end of a strip mall parking lot.

Laura S.

Yelp
We've always gone here during the day when it's order on your own but we tried out dinner on a Saturday night. It was busy and different ordering as they have waiters come around to order food and drinks instead of going up to the bar or window as we've done in the past during the daytime. It was packed with big groups so they let us know the kitchen might be a little delayed. Food was delicious and can't wait to try the pizza next time we are there. Beer is always 100%. We will definitely be back and hope you try this place too. Very unassuming in a strip mall. GO!!

Jason Y.

Yelp
Pizza now on the menu. Near perfect tavern style, paper thin. Good standard selection of toppings. Go for the pizza, stay to get jammed up. In Logjammin we trust.

Lydia C.

Yelp
I got a tad bit tipsy over here and ordered too much so I can't buy much right now 'cause I'm broke

JazIv I.

Yelp
Pretty good brewery. It offers a lot of different beers and flights to sample from. They offer food with nothing too crazy (eg pizza). What's really nice is that they have games for entertainment. Parking is plenty. Beers to go. Try their new CBD drinks.

Sheri W.

Yelp
Cheese and sausage pizza was perfect ! Very good selection of beer. Service was great .

Hannah H.

Yelp
Hosted a party at Noon Whistle in Lombard and it exceeded our expectations! The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious and of course the wide selection of beer was lovely. Everyone complimented the space we hosted the party in as well. Don't skip their large pretzel with everything bagel seasoning.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Noon Whistle has always been a cool spot with some great beers, but they recently also launched a new food menu. Of course we had to try the pizza and it was so fricken good. We were there yesterday for lunch and I'm about ready to brave the -30 degree temps to go eat the same lunch again. You have to check it out.

Cynthia K.

Yelp
Great beer Great pizza Great bartenders. Great specials. We go there twice a week. They have pickle beer that actually tastes like pickles. So good!

Joci W.

Yelp
What a great place! I actually came here for an event but ended up sitting at the bar after with friends. The workers, especially Evan and Brady, were very friendly and extremely knowledgable when it came to the drinks! If you aren't a huge beer drinker like me the two seltzers they had were delicious. Would definately recommend and will be coming back soon!

Francis R.

Yelp
Lombard's finest. Having tried a variety of Noon Whistle beers at various bars across Chicagoland, I didn't realize it was so close by! Dropped by to pick up some tall boys I had never seen or heard of before and they did not disappoint! I used their online site to order ahead, and promptly drove to pick up. The space it self was much larger than I had expected and would be great to meet up with larger groups. This location does serve food and also spotted a number of pinball machines. Beers are top notch. Definitely looking forward to a future visit to sit down, try some food, and hang out. 'Til next time, cheers!

Heidi W.

Yelp
This is a great place to get together and have a beer and dinner. Our waitress was great and made sure we always had a beer in hand. We had their pizza, Cuban, and a couple Italian sandwiches. I had the Cuban and it was really good. It was a great place to meet up for good food and great beers. We brought some of our board games and had a great night.

Mark A.

Yelp
Good beer and nice place as well. Fun staff. Pizza was pretty good. No, we didnt try the cicada drink... but saw others doing it. Eww. To each his own i suppose....

Kim H.

Yelp
Perfect place for large parties or a small group looking for a great place to drink and hang out. I could not say enough things about staff and the hospitality there. There are so many different beers to pick from and they do a phenomenal job at tailoring to what you like. The food was sooo good and I believe this is new for them because they were doing food trucks before. We had a group of about 20-30 so we go to try a variety of items. The pizza was great, pretzel/ cheese was awesome, and the tacos had the right amount of spice! I was there on a Thursday and they had music bingo which was fun and engaging. Definitely looking to make a trip back when I'm in the area.

Yelp
Another location of a popular hangout and brewery. In the back of a shopping center off Roosevelt Road are a few stores. Noon Whistle is a happening place in Lombard and can get rugged at times. Lots of seating and plenty of room for activities. They have pages of drafts and have a few snacks like pretzels. Came by with the girl because we had been to the other location and heard this one was actually better. It was kind of hard to find this one as well because it's way back from the road. The taproom is very spacious and can fit lots of people for fun activities such as trivia. On this day it was kind of chattery but quiet. There were a few regulars at the bar and they were talking about crap and sports. Gummy Vortex was the first of the beers. It's $7 a pint. This in an IPA imperial so a pretty hoppy one but not too much though. It's a New England IPA. This is made with Citra and Simcoe. Baked Pretzels is what we ate. These are $8 and come with a choice of cheese or Gummy Maple Sauce. Finding this the first time can be hard because it's hard to see where it is in the shopping center. It's on Roosevelt Road far off the road. They have fun activities like trivia night so check the website.

Lisa G.

Yelp
We came for a market , beer and lunch ! The hostess was so rude and no clue about a wait and said she would just come find me when a table is available. After 35 mins we sat down and ordered a beer, water and lunch . After 45 minutes no lunch - had to ask for a refill and basically just got told the kitchen is behind at this point . We gladly paid and left we felt like this location really can not handle a market and or weekend crowds. Do not say yes to hosting an event you cannot accommodate. We picked easy things on the menu and left empty handed and super disappointed. Awful service but good beer ! Taking it to go was not even a good idea the line was awful I saw so many unhappy customers . Do better guys you deserve our business! It's a shame we drove so far , I told the hostess we wanted to wait we drove far and she could have cared less she seemed so busy and upset .

Karen N.

Yelp
Located off Roosevelt Road, with ample parking. We stopped in on a Saturday at noon and almost every table was taken. There also was a party in their private room. It was quite a happening place. They have a large variety of cans of beers to go. My husband had a flight, and I tried a cider. Servie was good, but not stand out. We ordered some food, a side risotto and side root vegetable dish. Neither were great , we actually did not finish them. Good selection of beers, but pass on the food.

Arn A.

Yelp
Went to Noon Whistle Lombard...heard about the cicada Malort shot which I knew they already discontinued. Great chill space. I set the food bar low but was very pleasantly surprised. Great Italian beef "sangwich" as was the rest of our food. Our server Evan was amazing, very friendly and enthusiastic and attentive. Live in the city (but from Lombard! And will definitely be back. Super solid taproom with great service.

Euniishh L.

Yelp
Came here for some drinks before dinner. They have a decent parking lot that fits many cars. If you like to enjoy the summer weather outside, they have a huge tent right in front to sit in. Inside has a few games along the right side where kids can play pinball games. That waitresses and waiters were all very friendly. My friends and I all got beer flights. Surprisingly, they have quite a selection of beers and sours. I got the Jam Stand Apricot and Pineapple, Smack That!, Swanky Smack, and Fuzzy Smack. I guess I seem to like all the smacks. They also had a Banana slushy that is similar to the Fuzzy Smack but in slushy form. All were good picks. If you are not a beer drinker, I would recommend these choices. I would definitely come back to try the food next time.

Tina D.

Yelp
The pizza is surprising good here. Thin and crispy. I am also a big fan of pepperoni on top so it gets a little crunchy.

Brittanya T.

Yelp
Bartenders who act arrogant, mediocre food, drab brewery vibes. Who also brings their CHILDREN to a brewery??? No lights outside, which is nice and safe, seeing as the bar is sitting cozy tucked in back away from eyes...

Katy P.

Yelp
I've been coming here for years... since it opened and was a small craft brewery. My favorite was Lilacia. Now they're big and blossoming! Currently, they have loads of beers, wines, craft cocktails, and slushies. Pinball machines and jumbo kid games. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday is solid. They have a good variety of brunch items and regular lunch options. Monday night trivia is super fun with Amy, and Brady behind bar is sharp, funny, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!!

Criselle C.

Yelp
We came here for the first time last weekend. It's very spacious and comfortable inside. We sat at the bar and had a great time trying out several flights. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They have a great selection. We also tried the roasted tenderloin cheesesteak and a few of the cocktails - Salted guava spritzer and the Texas mule. They were all good. We will be back again!

Jamila J.

Yelp
This a nice brewery where you can go and sample and drink great tasting beer. I highly recommend this place. Everyone is nice and you can come and enjoy food trucks on certain days while enjoying your beer.

Maddie C.

Yelp
Noon Whistle Brewing is definitely a must for those beer lovers. They used to have someone take your order at your table but it is now you go up to the bar for drinks and then there is a little counter for food. It's pretty busy on weekends, I haven't been during the week so I'm not sure about then, but would definitely plan ahead since you seat yourself. They used to have live music but now it's just a jukebox machine which is totally fine, I honestly thought it was too loud when they had live music. The food is a bit above average, I've had some good food her and some okay food here. I recently tried to crab cake mushrooms, and they were just okay, they smelled pretty fishy and tasted a bit fishy as well. We also had the spinach artichoke dip which was pretty good! I wish they gave you a couple more naan though. Otherwise, this place is pretty good, definitely worth checking out.

Michael R.

Yelp
The original location sure has grown over the last few years, both in terms of the location, space, food and variety of beer. They have a lot of options for all tastes and it's become a place where you can eat, drink and hang out as long as you'd like.

Ruth L.

Yelp
Cool spot, hidden from the main street, almost looks like your heading into an abandoned strip mall. Great selection of beers on tap and to go. Lots of space for distancing. Outside tent if you prefer outdoors. Pinball and video games along side one of the walls. Cool swag to purchase and there's a food menu but didn't order food this time. Worth checking out and getting something to go.

I-Lin L.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and got a beer flight to try different kinds of beers. I tasted: 1) Guava gose smack - A tangy and slightly sweet and sour gose beer. My favorite of the four I tasted. 2) 10,000 ways - A hazy IPA. Not as sweet as I would have thought from he description. 3) Squishy gummy - Disappointing. I was expecting gummy bears, and this was nothing like that. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations for this Northeast IPA. 4) Kindhouse - Didn't really like this IPA either. The weekend special was a watermelon Fuzzy Smack slushie. It was slightly sweet and slightly bitter at the same time. Not bad for my first-ever beer slushie. I liked it better than the other beers.

Nicolas R.

Yelp
First time at Lombard location. Service is SLOW and care free. Watched 4 separate tables lose their patience and ask for check after only one beer. 100% will be going to Naperville location as they have employees constantly on foot servicing customers.

Amy L.

Yelp
Went in with a larger party of about 15 or so. We enjoyed the beer but the service was slow and it seemed they couldn't handle our volume of people. We ordered about 6 apps, a few peopled ordered plates and took a very long time for both to come out. We had one server and I felt bad as he looked so stressed and kept stating the kitchen and bar were backed up Over all, nice place. The apps were very good and maybe will be back with a smaller party.

Jake M.

Yelp
Quality space in Lombard offering extensive seating for families or large groups! Amazing medley of music played in the background offered up a lively atmosphere. Enjoyed samplers of their fresh beers and stayed for a bite to eat which also didn't disappoint! We will be back for the Gummy and stay for the grub too!

Mary M.

Yelp
The service here was phenomenal; our two bartenders had so much personality, and were a great time to be around. The beers were delicious, too. Very crisp, and refreshing! I recommend the Good Piebrations Banana Cream Pie.

Crystal N.

Yelp
Massive menu! They've got a giant, heated tent outdoors right in front of their taproom. Great service, immediately someone came over to hand me a menu and take my order. If you like hazy IPAs, this is the place for you. They've got over 8 different types of hazy IPAs. My favorite was definitely the Radical New Therapy. Absolutely delicious. Honestly, the tap list was a bit overwhelming, so I just got what the server had recommended. Tried a few of their others non IPAs and they were solid.

Dave O.

Yelp
I've always liked Noon Whistle Brewing... some of the other breweries in the area stick with the same base and basically add a little here and a little there and call it a special release. These guys have some pretty solid variations of their hazy's but a solid mix of others. Gummypoclypse has always been my favorite, and their special releases are always pretty solid. This week's favorite is their Gummytron watermelon... delicious!

Baba D.

Yelp
Great space. Low key environment. Love the brews and the pinball! Friendly staff and everyone is respectful and practice safety protocols. If you're going to a bar / microbrew - pick this one every time! Especially liked their Hefeweizen (Liseal Weapon).

Kevin J.

Yelp
Wow. I visit alot of breweries and this place is definitely a top 10. If your in the Chicago area and you enjoy good beer you need to check this place out. Pros: - great beer - people are friendly - 11 taps , good variety - one of the best NE style IPA's I have had. - cozy atmosphere - they make all their own beer - great music, if you like "new folk" Cons: - Its located in an old mostly unused strip mall - the dont have a kitchen but rumor has it they are expanding an adding one.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Took forever to get a couple seats as there was a party with kids taking up multiple tables by the bar. I felt like I was standing over people waiting for them to get up, especially since other people would walk in and steal the empty seat if you were standing there waiting for it to open up. It's a good atmosphere to hang out and watch the game but they have the space and could use more seats/tables OR have a hostess to help with seating. The bartender was great but It was difficult to get our servers attention once we sat down. Even when we had emptied our beers it took our server almost 30 minutes to come over and ask if we wanted another round or if we needed our check. We would've just gone up to the bar to ask for it but it was elbow to elbow with people sitting and eating. The food was good, nothing too spectacular though. The beer was the only redeeming factor here. I love sours and this place had a great selection and some interesting flavors. I would come back for a drink or to get beer to go, but probably not to eat.

Mark L.

Yelp
I attended this brewery with some friends today and what a great time we all had. Food, Service and Beers was fantastic. Fun clean atmosphere with some pinball machines in the brewery. Staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend this brewery.

Christy B.

Yelp
Big selection of excellent beers! A wonderful tent outside and big indoor space. A nice menu. We loved the beer can chicken shwarma and Bernie braised beef sandwiches. The cauliflower was a great side. Come for the beer, stay for the food. We love this place!

Kristina K.

Yelp
Came with my friends on Friday evening . They also had food truck , which had pretzels and it was perfect pairing with Noon Whistle Brewing. I am giving 5 stars for the beers and very attentive staff. Also I want the owner to pay attention to children ( toddlers ) screaming together with theyr drunk dads or mother breast feeding a child and chugging a beer . Don't get me wrong I am not against kids ( have my own) nor breast feeding in public. We really wanted to stay longer and enjoy our beers . But the kids and dads screaming killed the cooliness of the brewery . Many customers were leaving the place and we did too , our ears were ringing. I hope this place will change to adults only .

Rex P.

Yelp
Terrific beer and I really enjoyed the pork belly sliders on my only visit for food. Give them a try and take home some great beer offerings.

Erin B.

Yelp
TONS of beers to choose from. Literally, no matter what your beer of choice, they've got you covered. I love getting flights here to try a variety of their beers before committing too one. Personal fave to date - cosmo

Mark I.

Yelp
After my last review in 2017 I am dropping it one star. Reasons? Well, to start off when they expanded the space they included a lot of pinball machines (which I love) and kids games and let me tell you it gets crowded on a Saturday afternoon with the parents who want to drink and let their kids loose. I know its insanely difficult to limit guests to over 21 and keep the customers happy but it was a bit much at a particular visit. I came on a Saturday at open (noon) with a couple of buddies to eat, drink and play cards. We sat at a table on the right side near all the games. The first hour or so was great. Good beer and awesome food, but then the families poured in. It reminded me of Chucky Cheese. We ended up leaving earlier than we had planned because of all the noise. I have learned to sit on the right side or at the bar if you want to avoid all that. I used to revel in the knowledge that there would be someone working in there that knew me. For years I would come in and they would greet me by name. That is not the case anymore. I don't know anyone that works there. It seems there is a lot of turnover, but I can't say that with certainty. I honestly miss the smaller space with a more welcoming feel to it. I do go back and will continue to, but it doesn't feel the same. I used to have a membership with them but canceled because the perks just didn't match the price especially compared to other local breweries.

Halie D.

Yelp
Great service. Cheese curds we're unique (no breading) but delicious. You have to get the blue cheese broccoli slaw. IPAs are really well made here!

Nicole W.

Yelp
Great brunch! Second time visiting for brunch and mimosas and loved it even more! Big portions so whatever you order, plan to share it. Affordable, kid friendly. And did I mention the mimosas special? Go-Go-Go! Delicious food & friendly service.
