Yelp
this restaurant came at the recommendation of a friend.
I had a concert to go to and this was in the middle of home and of the venue, so I decided to make a stop for some pizza on the way, even though I was running a bit late to the venue. I love how close this is to the bus stop, not as close as A&W but still close, and I mean with the big freaking sign, how could you miss this place? upon entry I couldn't help but notice how tiny this place is, maybe be able to sit eight or ten people. I order right away and sat down. I couldn't help but notice the paper plates that had drawings on them and stapled to the wall above the entrance, really not what I would have expected but I carried on taking a look at the place. the table I was at was not even and it had nothing to do with the base but the actual top was not level, also not clean, I also couldn't help but notice the napkin holder was made out of some pretty heavy duty sheet metal with some sort of hanger to the side of it that was oily from the manufacturer, im not sure why you would want this near someone's food much less on the same table as someone's food. my food arrived very hot and ready to go, I was asked if I wanted a plate and I said no because I could have ate out of the box, which is what I did once the pizza cooled down. not the worst pizza in the world I could have, but I did notice that my pepperoni pizza came with sesame seeds mixed into the edge of the pizza and the crust, something that isn't advertised on the menu and not something I would have wanted on my pizza to begin with (loss of point here) the pizza was thin crust, which is also not advertised but is a nice change of pace from normal pizza's I have. I am not a fan of this pizza and the reason being is because of the inconsistency within the pizza, one bite tasted really good, and the next bite didn't taste so good, and the whole pizza was like that, which really frustrated me by the end, because it ultimately felt like a tease. the pepperoni is has the best flavor on this pizza, the cheese is ok and the dough is pretty average.
I ate my pizza and was on my way to the concert to rock out.
the service is nothing to brag about, seems like everyones pretty aloof or high at this location, just my brutal two cents on this. speaking of brutal, this franchise sells hot sauce by the bottle, but they don't have it for you to use while in store...but they have photos of people...eating the sauce...eating the pizza...this makes no sense...at all.
lots of parking options as this is just down from the intersection of queen and Tecumseh, and the ttc options are the 501 queen directly with the 511 being the closest alternative with a bit of a walk.
be careful when you order from here, as im not sure if other pizza have random ingredients that physically show up that's not advertised, which may or may not make you sick...
I wouldn't go out of my way for this place.
