Where To Eat & Drink With Your Dog

"Next time you get hungry while you and your puppy are strutting down the street on a morning walk, stop by Nourish Cafe. The vegan cafe has locations in the Richmond and Nob Hill, both of which have a couple of small-ish tables out on the sidewalk. Grab an acai bowl or a smoothie and enjoy it while you contemplate putting the dog on a plant-based diet, too." - julia chen 1

14 Ultra-Fresh Salads in San Francisco

"Nourish Cafe is a bustling business in vegan takeout, with salads so substantial they’re listed on their menus as “bowls.” Options include the Warrior Bowl, an ample spinach salad with a vegan burger patty on top, and the Mission Bowl, a chimichurri-laden mix of romaine, yams, avocados, and brown rice." - Paolo Bicchieri, Eater Staff

The 10 Best Vegan Restaurants In San Francisco

"For a place with “nourish” in the name, this vegan spot in the Richmond (a second location is in Nob Hill) delivers plant-based cafe staples that are, surprise surprise, nourishing. The breakfast and lunch spot has some seats but runs an efficient takeout operation, so your move is to get here when you have only 10 minutes to scarf down lunch. There are pretty solid spinach wraps stuffed with a garden’s worth of red peppers and cabbage, bowls of tamari, garlic, and paprika-marinated tofu over quinoa or brown rice—they’re leveled up by a range of creamy sauces and dressing, like sriracha miso, or jalapeño cashew mayo. For your drinkable fruit and vegetable fix, a bunch of supergreen, pitaya, and baobab juice smoothies fill the menu." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez

This place was great. Service was very quick and it was clean and tidy. They had a clean restroom and there was lots of seating. The staff was very polite and attentive. I thought the menu had a lot of variety and for the city it was a great value. I had the nourish bowl with the vegan beef and would definitely come back and get it again but I’ll be tempted to try something new.

Google
Whew, this food was very tasty and filling! I was super stuffed! I appreciate the patience of the staff. I was hungry and indecisive. Very kind. I wasn't crazy about the cookie I got. It was too thick for my liking, and the flavor was okay. I would eat here again. So many good and healthy options!

Google
What a great find! We walked to Nourish from our hotel, and it was worth every single step that it took for us to get there and back. We had the 3 cheese grilled sandwich and the Nourish bowl. It was a lot of food with just the two items! It was delicious, fresh, and colourful. The guy at the counter was very helpful and friendly, and the overall establishment was clean and comfortable. We would DEFINITELY go back the next time we find ourselves in San Francisco!

Google
Been so annoyed lately with this place. They get orders wrong. I odered a frittata sandwich and a fritatta wrap and got just a salad kind of wrap. The other day I ordered 2 frittata wraps and got sandwices instead. Their prices are not cheap so when you get the wrong order and find out until you get home, This is a problem. I tried calling them but their number is international. So for that reason I lowered their rating. The cookies are awesome. The muffins are scrummy too but I prefer the cookies just bc I have a sweet tooth. The fritatta wrap or sandwich are delish too. However I was pretty mad when I got the toast sampler. The GF bread tasted bitter and didn't pear well with the jam. The chocolate spread was bitter too. The size of the toast was ridiculously small- 3 half slices for $9.50??? That's my only 👎 criticism about this place. Other than that I stick with the cookies, muffins and fritatta wrap.

Quinoa Belgian waffle was delicious: soft, fluffy, nutritious. Great marinated tofu. Loved the açaí bowl and coconut milk macchiato. To top it off, Mr. Dewie’s cashew soft serve swirl—yum! I came here on a Friday and Saturday mornings, got tables easily. Food comes out fast, is fresh and really delicious.

Google
I’m not vegan, but I greatly enjoy coming to Nourish Cafe! I’ve been visiting regularly for over a year and have consistently great experiences. The coffee is made perfectly each time, and tastes very smooth, with no bitterness. The food, I’ve tried the açaí bowls and they’re some of the better ones that I’ve had in the Bay Area. Not overly sweet, leaves you feeling very satisfied. I’ve tried all three of the flavors, I think the original is the best and strongly suggest adding some almond butter. Your stomach will feel great after eating here! Really can’t say enough good things, The staff is also always very kind and personable. Give them a chance, even if you just want coffee, you won’t regret it!

Google
WOW the food here is INCREDIBLE , Breakfast bowl with just egg and mushroom MmmMm soooo good , best food I have had in SF !! Went back for two more to go!! Amazing chocolate bars also , and “tuna” sandwich is pretty good also !! DEFINITELY GO FOR THE BREAKFAST BOWL like WOW , friendly staff and epic menu!!

Google
The vegan tuna and the almond bell pepper sauce are amazing. I tried a lot of their bowls, they were all really tasty :) My go-to is a side salad, and then I add protein or avocado if I’m very hungry, since the regular bowls and salads are very big. Coffee is okay, a bit too acidic for me. If you’re getting it I’d recommend it without milk, since acidic coffee and milk tend to clash. I’d always rather get a matcha latte. Matcha is really good, and they make their own coconut milk!!! The desserts are very good too, but I’m usually too full to get them :) I recommend the chocolate chia pudding! I really love that they are committed to healthy and quality food. They offer sugar free options for almost all of their sweets, their default sugar is coconut sugar (which is much lower in GI than cane sugar), everything is vegan and the vegetables are always fresh. It’s one of my favorite places in San Francisco.

Yelp
I ordered a Nourish bowl with the soup of the day and the dish was a bit heavy on the greens but other than that was one of the better bowls I have had in a while. The shop itself is very clean and airy and that is really appreciated as many shops (vegan and non vegan) are not kept up to standards now a days.

Yelp
Nourish Cafe has been a staple for me during my time in San Francisco! I feel so lucky to have it right down the street from my airbnb. They have a great selection of nutritious and delicious options. In fact, they have one of the most flavorful acai bowls I've ever had. Additionally, they have great baked goods made with healthy ingredients, so you can enjoy them without guilt! The staff is very friendly and the space is clean and nicely decorated, and it's a great place to sit and enjoy your food!

Yelp
I recently visited Nourish Café for the second time, and I continue to be impressed by the flavorful, all-vegan menu. With so many delicious options, it was tough to decide what to order, so my husband and I opted to share the Nourish Breakfast Waffle and golden gate bowl. Both were packed with flavor, proving that vegan food can be both satisfying and diverse. We chose to sit outside and enjoy our vegan cappuccinos and gingerbread muffin. It was a beautiful mid-70s morning. The patio ( 4 bistro tables) is small and clean. Surprisingly, we didn't encounter any of the usual city distractions such as traffic or any homeless. It was a peaceful and enjoyable experience. We arrived around 10 AM on a Sunday and to our delight, there was no line and plenty of street parking--quite rare for the city! It was our lucky day!

Yelp
Nourish me, Nourish cafe! Quaint, cozy, lively vegan cafe in the thick of all things SF off Hyde Street across from the best little Trader Joe's and it's classic signature too tiny parking lot. Ample street parking, easy sidewalks to walk and not too far from connecting public transportation. I'd read about and seen Nourish pop up for plant-based suggestions and was excited to treat myself to my very first meal after landing, though I tend not to be a huge morning eater. Being just a little after 9AM (Nourish open from 8AM until 3PM most of the week or 7PM during the rest). I knew they might be a little busy - you can order premade or prepackaged items up front in their refrigerated products area, baked goods at the counter and/or their quality menu of yummy eats: Think Acai, Bowls, Wraps, Waffles, Sandwiches, Toasts, Smoothies and Soups Dining with my friend Danster - we went the breaddie route. I had the Grilled Cheese - nut cheese w/ vegan Miyokos butter, chimichurri sauce, plus tomato and added avocado. The bread (ACME - Levain)this was one was really enjoyable. I was a little worried because they work with a lot of seeds and offer a gluten free bread option with sunflower sprouts/seeds and I'm scary allergic, but the menu is mostly well labeled. The bread options aren't on the main menu in person, but are on the website and the staff is very knowledgeable as well. Dan the man had the toast sampler and between water, my Recess Hemp Sparkling Water, our house waters (refill station on the side of the register (near the seating area) and Dan's tofu soup of day we had a good meal. Restroom is gender neutral and was fairly kept up like the entire cafe. We cleared our table when we were done, which felt right because you can set the area where everything goes for dishes, cups, etc as well as well labeled trash for compost, recycling and so forth close by. This women owned and operating spot is officially one I'll frequent when in town. Will be back to nourish on more :D

Yelp
Checked out this place at breakfast. It has quite a few vegan choices. Nourish has a couple locations including this one in Nob Hill on Hyde Street. Maybe it's small but it has big flavor. The prices aren't cheap but aren't that bad for around here though. A pretty small inside area. It's big enough for a few tables but not for big crowds. The busiest times are for breakfast it seems. Honestly not really a surprise because this menu is so good. Pretty much except for prices. It's about $15 for the Savory Brekkie Bowl. This comes made as vegan. Has lots of good stuff in it. There's avocados, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, jasmine brown rice, mushrooms, and the red pepper almond dressing brings it together. Add Just Egg for a few bucks more. This makes a hearty ass morning with lots of protein. Have to tell everyone the other location has closed. It's this one that's still open. There's still the good stuff at this one for those looking to get breakfast options for vegans.

Yelp
We (as in the vegetarian wife and carnivore me) haven't been here in a long time. Tonight we walked by and decided to get some to go. I was surprised how good it was. I got my usual "tuna" sandwich and she got a bowl. I put some salt and pepper on it and found the missing mystery ingredient: ketchup. YUM!!! I got a chocolate chip cookie for dessert and was surprised again how good it is. Totally fresh and delicious. Not overly sweet. This place is a GEM and if I were vegan I'd be going nuts. I didn't miss the meat at all. Glad they are still in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Delicious food, matcha was strong-maybe too strong for me, the interior reminded me a bit of Willy wonkas fruit wall against the stark contrast of bright white walls. Service was fast and kind. So many selections it was almost overwhelming. Great healthy quick spot
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
O MY GOODNESS the chocolate chip cookie has changed my life! Perfectly crunchy outside, chocolate morsels in each bit and the center is soft but no too gooey. Lemon probiotic square had a great texture, but not enough lemon flavor :( Mission Bowl is extraordinary! I subbed mixed greens in lieu of romaine. BOWLS are mega-sized. Easily could be two meals. The chimichurri seasoned rice is so good. All the veggies are fresh and prepared perfectly. Love the crunch from the pepitas. I'm already craving this bowl again!!! Dining room is on the smaller side and feels a bit tight. Staff are very nice. Excellent selection of pastries and goodies at the counter, in addition to a big menu with many, many choices to satisfy all palates.

Yelp
Always fresh, always healthy, go to lunch spot! Recently got into the date shake - I'm not a coffee drinker but this is bomb and gets you feeling GREAT!
google avatar

Troy B.

Yelp
I was in the mood to eat something healthy and light for lunch, and I do try to eat plant-based here and there. Love the amount of options they have here, and I genuinely had trouble deciding on what to get. Ended up ordering the Banh Mi online for pick up. The Banh Mi is not traditional by any means, but I kind of knew that going into it and seeing the ingredients. I honestly feel like they should consider naming it something else, but that's a topic for another time. It was a hearty and delicious sandwich nevertheless. Generous amount of tofu and love the addition of sweet potato. The bread was multigrain, so not a baguette as traditional banh mis are, but still crunchy and paired well with the add-ins.

Yelp
Aww just realized this place is closed for business. Me and my babiess will be praying it opens back up again! Until then we'll be looking forward to it.

Yelp
I always make it a point to stop by if I'm around Nob Hill! My go-to order is their Golden Gate Bowl with brown rice and spicy sriracha miso dressing, and their nourish bowl comes in a close second. This cafe always satisfies my cravings for fresh, healthy food
google avatar

Melissa Y.

Yelp
I ordered online for pickup and unlike many (most) restaurants in SF I was able to input my gift card code! (Most you have to use it in person and honestly they make it really difficult.) I ordered the egg bun no avocado and at first I was disappointed when I saw it but it was so good! I also ordered an iced chai with oat at the counter and it was also very delicious. Usually chai mix can be super bland and not spicy, but this had a little bite to it (in a good way). Will definitely go back!
google avatar

Siddhartha G.

Yelp
Excellent acai bowls, grain bowls and protein smoothies. The acai bowls are refreshing, and the acai smoothie with some vanilla protein added is a winner and great for a post-workout and for a hot day. They also have really nice chia dessert and oat balls. There's some rather cramped seating inside and nice parklet seating outside. Added bonus, the bus stop is right across.
google avatar

Nickie M.

Yelp
I used to love Nourish when they had the location in the outer Richmond but something is different at the Nob Hill location. I had the Golden Gate bowl and the lettuce was gritty like it had not been sufficiently washed, the vegetables did not seem fresh and the drizzle of dressing was way to little for the bowl. Also, I really felt sick to my stomach after eating there. Not a good sign.
google avatar

Yelp
I was so excited to try Nourish Cafe during my latest conference in the City. My oh my, this cafe delivered one of the BEST Buddha bowls I've ever had dining out, and is one I am eager to return back again. The Golden Gate Bowl with Tuna ($20) was a massive bowl with spring greens, brown rice, mushrooms, avocado, roasted cauliflower and yams, all topped with a red pepper almond dressing. It came out in an enormous soup bowl that really could feed two people. The variety of fresh veggies and ingredients made this bowl absolutely delicious. I added tuna (made from nuts and seeds) but looking back, wish I had gotten their tofu instead. For dessert, I couldn't help but order their Chocolate Chip Cookie ($5.50), which is now in my top three best vegan cookies of all time. It was incredibly dense, chewy, and lasted for a few days. You could tell it was baked in-house which made it even better. The restaurant is on the smaller end with limited seating inside and outside. I was lucky enough to snag a table outside so I could enjoy my bowl on a beautiful day. I did not have a fridge at my hotel, so I ended up consuming the entire bowl. Sorry not sorry.

Yelp
I've ordered takeouts many times and just visited the shop in-person today. The food is good as usual. But the front desk girl needs more training. She made my experience today frustrating. I did not want bananas on my waffle pancakes (my stomach can't take it) so I asked her if she can replace bananas with some slices of avocado -- just a few, whatever makes sense for their cost of operation. She said she needs to charge me for avocado. I said then can you replace the banana (again, I can't have it) with a little bit of almond butter -- again whatever amount that seems fair to the store; she again told me she needs to charge me for it. The waffle came and 1/4 of it was crumbled; but that's no big deal. It's still delicious. I had to put all the bananas that they forced onto me to the side (and that's more than one full banana portion-wise). I used the nut butter that came with the order to make the waffle more moist. The butter ran out when I'm halfway done; I asked her for a bit extra so I can enjoy the rest of my waffle. Guess what's the answer? She needs to charge me for having a bit more butter for my waffle. SERIOUSLY?!?! I ask the woman who seems to be the owner and she happily gave me a bit more butter to finish my meal. The front desk girl needs training. She should be able to enter notes to replace certain elements with others when guests have preferences or dietary restrictions. Not everything needs to be processed as a surcharge. The rigidity of her behavior made the experience very unwelcoming and frustrating. The food is great and I'll be back for that. But I hope I get a better front desk person next time.

Devin J.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years , best frittata vegan sandwich ever . I love their soups when they are daily made . I also like their nourish bawl
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Cute and cozy neighborhood cafe, with some indoor and outdoor seating! We got an acai bowl with protein powder (extra $2) and a dragon fruit bowl, and it was one of the more disappointing bowls I've had. There was no fruit besides banana, and the dragonfruit was very liquidy; the toasted coconut was a good touch though. Likely will not be coming back given it was $13 per bowl as a base price.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
I think this is on the upper end of the 3 star scale, but not quite enough for a 4. It has pretty straight forward, healthy food options. I got the Veggie wrap with marinated tofu. It was super filled with veggies and wrapped in a gluten free spinach wrap. The spinach wrap confused me at first bc it looks papery and tough at first glance, but taste wise it was undetectable in flavor or texture (in a good way). I was kind of disappointed by the amount of tofu that was added on, and it felt a little skimpy for $2. But overall I liked the wrap, especially the texture of the fresh veggies and the dressing for flavor. Would come again as a healthy vegan option!
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
I prefer to eat meat, but Nourish is a plant based restaurant and it's sooooo good!! I honestly feel better about myself after eating a meal here because it's so fresh and the ingredients and super healthy. I usually go for the açaí bowl, which is loaded with a lot of toppings. It's great after a workout. Today, I had a Banh Mi, which honestly when I saw it, I wasn't that impressed because it doesn't look like a typical Banh Mi but when I tasted it, it changed my mind. It has the same flavors except the bread is whole wheat instead of the baguette it usually comes in. The dragonfly smoothie was really tasty and refreshing! They have a lot of seating inside and outside. It tends to get full on the weekends. The service is fast. I usually get my order within 10 mins. Love this place and will definitely come back since I live in the area!
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
I'm not a vegan and this is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. All the food is so fulfilling and bright. The flavors and textures fill you up that you hardly miss meat. I love the mission bowl here and get it with the tofu. The crisp lettuce and tasty toppings will make you wish you could come here every day! A feast for the eyes always! Love this spot, check out the 1 mile walk down the block into civic center area for free Sundays at the Asian art museum!
google avatar

Ritu A.

Yelp
They have pretty good bowls and vegetarian options. Perfect for brunch. Felt a bit over priced though. Service was good.
google avatar

Mystique C.

Yelp
The nourish bowl was the most beautiful bowl I've ever seen I also had to order to pitaya smoothie because I love the deep pink color. I had to do a significant mixing on my own but it was the perfectly proportioned. It was very filling and had enough for two meals. Unfortunately there wasn't much flavor or taste but still a nourishing meal before my show. They took longer than usual to make my order so they gave me a vegan donut for free
google avatar

Stacy R.

Yelp
Okay, so we went here because my step mom is a true celiac and we were told this cafe observed celiac standards in addition to offering gluten free options. It's Vegan. The food was magical and filling. Delicious! The service was not good though! The staff seemed to be annoyed if you needed anything or had questions. It was super crowded with boxes and staff coming in and out to stock during the rain. The restaurant is cute though and we'll decorated. To add injury to cause, we got a cacao pudding which was labeled GF (gluten free)and dairy free. Well, tragedy struck because 1 day later and 2 bites later, step mom had a brutal celiac episode. Tried to call the restaurant multiple times to speak to a manager to see what was in that pudding but the manager was never available and the staff didn't seem to understand me when I spoke. Be mindful of what you order if your a true Celiac here. If your thick skinned and a city slicker then the ambiance may be perfect for you but if your from the country where we call everyone sweetheart and make eye contact with a smile when you speak, this my not be the place for you.
google avatar

Nadia R.

Yelp
Have been there several times since and food and customer service has been great. My favorite is the tofu sandwich (was called bahn mi but I think they changed the name).
google avatar

Mae J.

Yelp
Tried this place a few times because I like to support vegan shops. The sandwiches are all right, though they look better than they taste and aren't yummier than what I can make at home myself. Indoor seating is very limited. Staff is polite. I appreciate that the cafe is 100% vegan.
google avatar

Yoojin S.

Yelp
Excellent veggie wrap! The raw wrap is slightly sweet and delicious. It's full packed with a ton of veggies so it feels super satisfying munching through it. I added vegan tuna for flavor, but overall the taste is quite mild. If it came with a side of sauce, that would be excellent. The chocolate chip cookie is insane. Weighs about 360g it's colossal and hefty. It's so soft and chewy so you could eat half of the thing in one sitting. Mostly made of almond flour, it tastes a lot like almond butter. Quite dangerous. At 360g though, I'm quite curious on how much calories this cookie has. I think if they sold it cheaper for 1/4 the size, it would be more healthier.
google avatar

Lisa V.

Yelp
Mission Bowl is outstanding; the chimichurri rice really adds a unique flavor! Portion is huge so I can have it for lunch tomorrow as well. Highly recommended for a fresh, healthy meal!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Have eaten there once. Had the breakfast bowl. It was very good and very savory. Everything tasted very healthy. Would eat there again. Note, limited seating.
google avatar

Lynn L.

Yelp
I really love their muffins (not too sweet) and lattes. Lots of vegan options and Staff is always friendly !
google avatar

Indo S.

Yelp
100% plant based restaurant. Awesome doughnut and coffee choices. Kids liked their sandwiches and waffles. Unfortunately, nourish burger patty was foul. The avocado toast was tasty. Service was friendly. Nice local shop. Wouldn't make a special trip to come here but definitely an asset to the neighborhood.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
Ambiance: there was seating but we chose to sit on the steps outside one of the neighboring Victorian houses for the vibes. The inside is cute and was just your typical cafe. Food: visually stunning. Absolutely tasteless. Felt like I was eating solid water. The vegetable wrap had no flavor at all and it was $3 extra to add tofu I believe. What a ripoff. I cannot emphasize how little flavor there was in the wrap.

Haley F.

Yelp
i really enjoy their chia seed pudding and the mr. dewies soft serve. great spot for vegans and those who need gluten free. i look forward to trying more of their treats, especially the gluten free chocolate chip cookie

Amelie A.

Yelp
Outrageously amazing vegan food. Fresh, local, creative and with many many gluten free options!! I am so happy I found this place and I cannot recommend it enough. The bowls are delicious and balanced, the waffles are to die for (and gluten free!!!) and the smoothies and cookies are out of this world. Place could use some new chairs and tables that are a wee bit more comfy, but it's a very cute ambiance and great service. Kitchen staff is working hard!!!
google avatar

Cheri L.

Yelp
Sometimes I need a break from acai bowls and want something warm and comforting, yet healthy. The food at Nourish Cafe fulfilled just that! This place is a cute little cafe that serves all vegan and plant based foods. My order consisted of their Savory Brekkie Bowl and their Bahn Mi Sandwich. Both items tasted super good with the perfect sauces and flavors to match each item. The food was warm and very filling. I totally wish I could cook these at home so that I could eat them everyday. Service was nice and prompt, not crowded in the morning but there are def people going in and out to pick up their food. When I went there was both indoor and outdoor dining as long as you followed mask protocols. Overall I recommend trying out some of their dishes whether you are vegan or not. Perfect for a nice breakfast or lunch!
google avatar

Marilyn E.

Yelp
Got the choco nut smoothie and it was really good. Very chocolatey but the STAR OF THE SHOW LIKE STAR OVER THE ENTREES AND EVERYTHING IS THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIEEEEEE. Run dont walk because next time im in the area i am buying all of them ok ok maybe more like 5 .... Or 10 to be even. I was never really impressed with a cookie until i ate theirs so yep. Damnn i wish i had another one right now ughhhhhhhh if only i wasnt in another state haha. You know what? A 12 hour detour dont sound too bad ;)
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
I wanted a quick, casual and healthy lunch, and that's exactly what I got here. The brekkie bowl with added tofu was the perfect size to fill me up without leaving me feeling stuffed. The staff were nice and service was quick. They didn't have decaf coffee, which would have been nice, but that's the only downside. Would go back next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Kriti J.

Yelp
Giving 5 stars for service! I came here with a friend around 6 pm on a Tuesday and it was almost empty (one other party there) because I think it's more of a breakfast/lunch type spot. It's an all vegan place. I wasn't too hungry so I got the Tomato Soup. I got the small size (great amount) and it was flavored so well! My friend got the waffles and some toast and enjoyed both of those as well. Pretty big portion size! They were super kind and nice, and even let us stay past closing time! Would definitely come back to this place for lunch to try some other food!

Michelle S.

Yelp
This is the best vegan health food option in the city. Can always count on the Warrior Bowl and Just egg frittata sandwich. The bread is thick cut and whole grain. They have lots of scrumptious vegan treats and energy bars/balls too. Their quality has consistently been top-notch and I love going back
google avatar

Meg G.

Yelp
great spot for a casual, vegan brunch! my favourite dish is definitely the waffles with Just Egg and Tofu, the tofu is seasoned so well!!

Allyson F.

Yelp
Love the raw desserts they have here! Great menu and bowls with natural and transparent ingredients.

Yelp
The acai bowls only have banana as the fruit topping :-( they don't advertise as such. it's not bad but I won't be a regular since I'm missing out on ingredients

Yelp
the vegan grilled cheese and vegan donuts are SO GOOD! one of our favorite places in the city!

Yelp
** The following review reflects my delivery experience DURING the COVID-19 pandemic. ** I remember enjoying their abundant açaí bowl at their compact Inner Richmond location a couple of years back, so I was pleased to see that their Hyde Street location was offering delivery to my home. I was between Zoom meetings and needed some nourishment to keep my eyes open during what I knew would be an extremely disorganized staff meeting. I was drawn to the $15 Veggie Wrap which I first thought was overpriced. What arrived was one of the best ones I've had. Encased in a raw spinach wrapper, it contained hummus, avocado, carrots, sprouts, red peppers, romaine lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and tuna thrown in for good measure. It was slathered in a creamy hemp dill dressing, which really brought all the flavors together in quite an edible symphony (photo: https://bit.ly/3oJzUSF). Unusual for me as I rarely order beverages, but I went for the $4.75 Tumeric Latte with almond milk, quite a warm confection that brought an Indian flavor to my meal (photo: https://bit.ly/3efOts6). I will definitely order this combo again. FOOD - 5 stars...a veggie wrap to remember AMBIANCE - n/a...just a delivery this time SERVICE - 4 stars...came quickly and I was ready and awake for my next meeting TOTAL - 5 stars...good to see how consistent Nourish can be RELATED - Exploring Nob Hill? Yelp
I recently went to Nourish Cafe for take-out with a friend. There was limited outdoor seating yet it was lunchtime and the sun was super hot blazing outside and the only seats in the shade were already taken. Nourish Cafe is all vegan and plant based. I have been vegan for 21 years now. I am surprised that I never went to either of the Nourish Cafes in the City yet as most have overlooked them. I went with the Nourish Bowl that came with quinoa, yams, avocado, sprouts, hummus, cucumber, mixed greens, tomatoes, beet sauerkraut, sunflower seeds, and an oil-free creamy dill hemp dressing. I had vegan tuna added to it. It was all quite alright. I found hearty, healthy, and flavorful. The menu is quite diverse from handhelds to smoothies to soups to bowls to hearty wholesome baked goods to raw desserts. The staff was friendly. I look forward to coming back here to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Everything here is plant-based. Hooray! Plenty of gluten-free options too. Yay! Toast sampler with gluten free bread: Avocado chimichirri: the chimichurri tastes like spicy-ish grass in the best way you could ever imagine. It's great. "Lox": absolutely delicious! The pickled onions are insane. They're so tangy! Chocolate hazelnut: your basic toast with vegan nutella. Nothing special. "Tuna" sandwich: the sprouts on the sandwich are amazing! They are huge and crunchy and delicious. The tunea, on the other hand, is bland and tastes like a nut paste. It needs way more dill at the very least. The sauce compliments the wannabe tuna, but the whole dish needs more dill and maybe even some vinegar to make it pop. Frittata sandwich: love it! Great egg texture and the taste is savory without being overly salty. Still, however, I wish there was more of a dill flavor. Call me crazy, but I am a huge fan of tartar sauce on egg sandwiches. Let's make that vegan, eh? Booch Craft hard kombucha ginger lime = 7% alcohol. Boozy booch brunch, much? Love it! The gluten-free bread is actually soft and it stays together while you eat your sandwich. 10 out of 10 guys!

Yelp
I love Nourish! I wish I could give it 5 stars! There are multiple delicious coffee and donut options to die for! We ordered: Soup of the Day: Black Bean Quinoa Avocado Toast Both types of Waffles Donuts Frittata Grilled Cheese And... the notorious Black-Bean Burger ( the only thing we ordered we didn't like! ) Another reason I couldn't give this place 5 stars is because there isn't enough indoor or outdoor seating! Other than that, I really recommend Nourish!!!!!

Yelp
This is an awesome little vegan spot serving out great tasting food right in the heart of Lower Nob Hill. They have a few quaint tables in the back as well as some outdoor seating. The service was very friendly & helpful; you purchase with the cashier & receive a number for them to bring out your food. We started with the blueberry donut & pink donut. For being vegan, both were phenomenal! The blueberry was by far our favorite. My partner enjoyed their house coffee, I a matcha latte with almond milk, & my daughter a dragonfly smoothie. All were amazing! We then ordered the quinoa waffle, avocado toast, avocado chimichurri toast, as well as the cream cheese toast. All were crispy, flavorful, & great portions. We will definitely be back when we are in the area & looking for a quick bite to eat. If you're vegan, this is absolutely a great spot to check out.
