Food was so good. Fully was pleasant and helpful and the manager was attentive as well. We’ll definitely be back. Specially for 1/2 off happy hour wine bottle.

Google
Updated for Second time visiting. food quality and service was as good as the first. Black cod was cooked perfectly, flaky and seasoned well. Starter of grilled avocado was exceptional. Will be back . Great lunch experience just off the circle in orange. Classy but casual vibe, service from the minute we walked in was attentive and friendly. Great menu and all choices we made we’re tasty, clearly fresh ingredients and well seasoned/flavored. We each had a cup of the seafood chowder which had a great depth, not too creamy. Ahi Loki with taro chips was a great accompaniment. For mains I had the butternut squash tajine with salmon which was excellent. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the butternut/ bean sauce was slightly spiced with great flavors. Highly recommend.

Google
Wonderful experience with fabulous seafood. We were seated over an hour late, but it was because of a giant trade show in town and all parties in the first seating arriving late. The host did the best he could to get our party of 8 to the table as soon as possible. Every dish was delicious. The black cod special was amazing! The fish & chips were fabulous. Note: alcohol served is beer & wine only. No cocktails.

Google
Very impressive seafood restaurant in the heart of oldtown orange. I'm not a huge seafood person myself, but I would eat here everyday happily. The fish here is prepared so well and is absolutely delicious. Lots of options and everything we had was just top tier. They also have a very extensive drinks menu and lots of local craft beers. Staff was also really good even though it was a really busy Saturday night. Can't wait to try this place again.

Google
1 star for the atmosphere. 1 star for the service, and 1 star for the freshness of the food. However, the food was bland and mediocre, and portions were really small for the price we paid. I had high hopes for this place and had my Valentine's Day lunch here. We ordered 5 diahes. The oyster was very small. The cioppino was decent but the shrimp and fish in it were too tough and stringy. The dish of the day black cod was again small and the fish was so undercooked it was so watery. The ceviche was ok but again came with very little fish and chips. Lastly the salmon skin handroll the rice was undercooked and tasted like something you get at a convenience store. The restaurant wasn't even busy when we were there so we were really disappointed.

Google
Went here a while ago for happy hour, so this is a belated review. The food is really nice. The oysters are great, and the octopus was one of my favorites. And don't forget the wine, never forget the wine, very very good! Service was really good and friendly as well. We will be back more often!

My journey to discover a seafood restaurant that resonates with my palate led me to this charming establishment, where the freshness of its offerings and the skillful preparation left a lasting impression. Osea's Happy Hour provided the perfect introduction, with a menu that tantalizingly hinted at the broader culinary prowess of the restaurant. The Cioppino, which I was compelled to order twice due to its sheer deliciousness, emerged as the star of my dining experience. Each piece of fish in the Cioppino was meltingly tender, a testament to Osea's mastery in seafood preparation. Despite the broth being a tad sweeter than my liking, the quality of the seafood transcended this minor discrepancy. The Ceviche, with its clean and healthful taste, showcased a minimalist approach, allowing the natural flavors of the seafood to shine through. The accompanying taro chips, though slightly overcooked, added a thoughtful crunch to this subtly flavored dish. However, my experience with the oysters was mixed. One arrived with half its shell missing, and my favorite, the Kumamoto variety, was out of stock. This was a slight disappointment, as the full enjoyment of oysters lies in their complete presentation and the slurping of the briny juice. The Tuna on Rice was a comforting dish from the Happy Hour menu, though it could benefit from a bit more spiciness to elevate its flavor profile. The service at Osea matched the high quality of the food. Attentive and efficient, the staff ensured that the dining experience was as smooth as it was enjoyable. Their professionalism significantly enhanced the overall ambiance of the restaurant. In conclusion, Osea has not only met but exceeded my expectations for a seafood dining experience. It stands as a rare gem in the area, reminiscent of the high-quality seafood experiences I've cherished in New York City. It’s a must-visit for seafood aficionados!

We came during a terribly busy day with only 2 servers. Took 15 minutes after seating just to get mediocre appetizers and we decided to just immediately leave after paying. The host was extremely kind and generous, contrary to the 2 servers who basically ignored us until I waved someone over. It was a full house but we weren't ever looked at once. The host waived the appetizers but i would love to come back during oc restaurant week or something.

Yelp
O boy am I obsessed with O Sea!! The employees are truly the most friendly and welcoming people! Sarah, the manager was so sweet and checked in on us during our meal. Fillie (may have spelled that wrong), was our server and he was so great, gave yummy suggestions and made sure everything went well throughout our time dining in! Food was very fresh and came out quickly! I want to try everything on the menu! Very open and bright space with plenty of indoor seating. Has a modern coastal vibe. Street parking around the Orange Circle, can get busy on the weekends. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
We actually tried this place when it first opened. We were not impressed then and we're not impressed now. Crispy Local Calamari was eh. Not much flavor. I got the Lean and Mean Plate. The rice was flavorless and the presentation of the salad was messy and also lacked flavor. I got the yellowtail with it and that also lacked excitement. Wifey got Roasted Butternut Squash and Garbanzo Tajine. This tasted like a canned Hines tomato sauce. Best thing about this place were the fries. Our waitress was friendly too. Also, the two people manning the front had mad RBFs. I hope they're not going thru anything bad but this didn't help our experience.

Yelp
I was really excited to try this spot because I had heard good things and the name's pun is great (get it?). The interior is really gorgeous and welcoming. From the Fall menu, I decided to try the Farmed Atlantic Salmon Ceviche, the Spicy Wild Tahitian Albacore Tuna on Crispy Rice and both were so good! The portions were much bigger than I expected. For dessert, my server recommended to me the Panna Cotta of Coconut & Kaffir Lime and I loved it!

Yelp
I came here with my family for a birthday lunch and the food here is always great and very fresh! We made a reservation and we were seated pretty quickly. We were seated outside and the only reason why I would take away a star is because the service was a bit slow. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive. However, the food was delicious. My favorite was the cioppino. It contained a bunch of different seafood like mussels, shrimps, and fish. The oysters were also very fresh and sweet. The inside of the restaurant was decorated very nicely with Christmas decorations.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and the ambiance was amazing! It is a bit small inside but feels cozy and special for a celebration. We got a bottle of wine and shared some dishes, which were all excellent. I really enjoyed the ceviche and the aguachile. Both were so fresh and had great flavor! I am in love with the taro chips these dishes came with. The thai tea blondie sundae was also so delicious! I don't usually like dessert, but this was absolutely amazing and shouldn't be skipped!

Yelp
We had an AMAZING experience at O Sea! We ate here before a concert at the Honda Center. We arrived at 6 on a Saturday, and while the restaurant wasn't full when we were seated, it filled up! We started with the Burrata with Honeynut Jam and teh Albacore Tuna Poke. Both were DELICIOUS. We ordered the Super Tuscan Plate and asked Ryan, our fantastic server, to help us decide between the Sea Bass and the Cod. He also provided (at our request!) multiple wine options to perfectly accompany our meal. Sarah, the GM, was so personable - she checked in with tables, brought us our wine, and recommended Thai Milk Tea Blondie Sundae, which was pure perfection. Everything about our experience was so lovely!!

Yelp
Great place for happy hour!! We celebrated a birthday here on Labor Day (normally closed Mondays but they were open for the holiday and honored happy hour/their lunch special). We arrived around 2pm (HH is 2-5) and our party of 5 was seated right away. The place is really cute inside with cute table set ups and menus. The table is a little narrow so it felt cramped sometimes, but not too big of a deal. Their oysters that day were sooo good! Very fresh and yummy tasting. They served them with vinegar and cocktail sauce. We ordered all of the items on the HH menu except for the burger. The mussels were my favorite of the appetizers, then the fried shrimp (the fries are very good!), and last the tuna on crispy rice (definitely wasn't bad but it was my least favorite of the 3). I ordered their lunch special which included 2 items for $20. I picked the salmon skin hand roll and the strawberry fields salad with cod (cod cost an extra $10). I wasn't very impressed with this, the hand roll was very small and barely had any salmon skin in it. The salad was okay, but I actually thought it came with a salad and tacos, not just one. If I got that again then I would go with the tacos instead. Wine is half off during HH so we got 2 bottles of the orange wine, so good! Our waiter was really sweet and brought out the Thai iced tea blondie topped with vanilla ice cream for the birthday girl. We were very impressed by this dessert, it was really tasty! Overall a nice experience, good for birthdays or cute date. I'm already planning on coming back to celebrate another friend's birthday!

Yelp
We enjoyed a great lunch here. Food tasted as good as it looked. Service was attentive and courteous. Food arrived promptly. Shrimp was some of the best we've ever had. Hot tip.. don't sleep on their happy hour...great food great prices. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here with some girlfriends for my birthday, and we loved it here! I personally loved that it wasn't dimmed dark inside, and while the mood was light, it was still very romantic and pleasant. All the staff members were so friendly, and gave great suggestions from the menu. We tried two different white wines, and both were excellent! We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was so beautifully plated and so so delicious! My favorites were the burrata cheese with honeynut jam (so good!!!) and the yellowtail special, which had a slight smoky taste and this amazing green puree to go with it. Oh, and the Thai milk tea blondie sundae they brought out as dessert for my birthday was the most perfect way to end our dining experience. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Yelp
Was looking for a place for a late lunch near Old Town Orange and noticed that O Sea had a happy hour menu that starts at 2pm so it only made sense to come here. There's a public parking lot behind the restaurant which was perfect. The restaurant was so nice and airy. Loved the ambiance! Onto the food, I ordered half a dozen of their HH oysters which were the sweet minters. Also ordered the HH mussels (spicy), HH shrimp, and the salmon ceviche and a cup of clam chowder off their regular menu. All of the food was really good and the seafood tasted fresh. The sweet minter oysters were small and didn't have much body to them but I didn't expect much from happy hour pricing. The clam chowder was a little thin and tasted more like a bacon and potato soup with 3 clams on top. The salmon ceviche didn't have much flavor and bite to them like I would expect from a ceviche. The taro chips they came with were really nice and crunchy though! Now onto the standouts. The HH crispy hot shrimp were so plump and juicy, with a little smoky kick to them. The fries that it came with were perfectly crispy. The mussels were also plump and meaty and the coconutty broth it was cooked in was divine! My friend and I were sopping all of that light but savory broth with our bread. Service was great. Our waiter came by a couple of times to check up on us. Granted, there weren't any other tables that they were waiting on (since the other few tables were already done with their food). Overall, I was very pleased with my meal and all the fresh seafood. Would definitely be back for happy hour!

Yelp
Had the best oysters at 1/2 off. Minters Sweet Oysters makes me want to go to Washington Minter's Bay but they got them and I got to taste them here. Their tacos had huge portions of fish, not skimpy, and same goes for their fish and chips. We were just looking for a quick bite but came into this fancy restaurant instead, and we were pleased. Servers were great and attentive and gave us all the good stuff like don't forget about the half off oysters.

Yelp
We've been here twice now. First, they have a great reputation- I heard reviews from friends who have tried them during restaurant week and we've seen large crowds every time we walk past on visits to old town orange circle. Their dishes are crafted to perfection. I tried one oyster and the presentation was just immaculate- literally felt like it's a Michelin dish with how detailed it came out. We have also tried the strawberry salad, Washington cod fish and chips, and poke bowl. Their fish and chips is EPIC. Crispy, and comes with amazing sauces and lemon. They have an amazingly spicy habanero sauce that is top notch in flavor and spiciness.. try it with caution but so good to dip into when you order the fish and chips. They're super attentive and also have the most amazing venue. We are huge fans!

Yelp
O Sea in Orange completely exceeded my expectations! The steak I had was nothing short of spectacular... expertly cooked, with each bite more flavorful than the last. It's clear that the chefs here have mastered their craft. This was easily one of the finest steaks I've ever had, and that's saying something. Beyond the food, the ambience really sets this place apart. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed into a space that's both sophisticated and inviting. The lighting, décor, and overall vibe come together seamlessly to create a relaxed yet vibrant environment that makes the entire dining experience feel special. I left not only impressed but eager to return. For anyone seeking an elevated dining experience with exceptional food and a perfectly curated atmosphere, O Sea is an absolute must-visit!

Yelp
On a late 3PM lunch turned out to be a 2PM-5PM happy hour which locked us in for half off of a dozen oysters. Our party of four agreed that these had to be one of the best oysters we've had in a while. The service knows their stuff and suggested an oyster type that we weren't sure what it was called but definitely loved his suggestion. The chocolate bread pudding was great to end off this happy hour. It felt like a nice an intimate spot that had hints of high class.

Yelp
This spot is very relaxed. The staff that welcomed us was very friendly and professional. We tried the Crispy Oaxacan Hot Shrimp with Fries, and that was heavenly. The name of the dish speaks for itself--very crispy indeed. We also tried the Oysters, which were super fresh and not fishy at all. There was no aftertaste as well, which was great. The Garden Salad could have been articulated better--not crispy and fresh, but it was flavorful enough. The restroom stalls are clean but not baby-friendly.

Yelp
We love going to this local gem in the Orange Circle. Cool laid back vibe, the staff are super friendly and attentive. The menu, while not extensive is really varied. Our typical group is a mixture of vegan, gluten-free and everything-goes eaters and we all have a solid set of choices. Food has always been super tasty and well-presented. It's becoming one of favorite go to places.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our night out for dinner here! We went as a family of 4 and they were super accommodating and gave us a highchair for our toddler and space to park our stroller for our baby. Here's what we tried: Daily oysters (barcat, minter sweet, Kumamoto) These were all really good! Not cheap though so I recommend coming for happy hour (I think 2-5pm) Wild eastern sea scallop aguachile 'negro' This was the best thing we had! Flavors were nice and bright and the scallops were soooo good and luscious. Pairing them with the taro chips was perfection. O sea chowdah This was slightly too salty but it was very flavorful! The clams in there were yummy. Two grilled fish tacos market plate We chose the cod - wasn't my favorite dish (prefer a fish that tastes more buttery and soft or maybe a fried fish would've been better). The rice and beans were a no go :( no flavor at all. Steamed PEI mussels These were really good! I feel like a lot of restaurants overcook their mussels but not here :)! The fries it comes with are also really bomb. Grilled cheese For the little one - the thick cut bread was yummy but a pretty basic dish (I guess all kids menu stuff is pretty simple haha) Would recommend!!!

Yelp
Great place to come for happy hour oysters. They were pretty fresh and delicious. Interior is modern and gorgeous. Service was fine. My complaint is about the happy hour salmon ceviche. The amount of salmon was extremely small, there were probably a total of 4 small pieces of salmon. I get that it's happy hour but still that's ridiculous.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for steering me to a fantastic spot that I never would have stumbled upon without yelp's help due to some major road closures in downtown Orange that needed to be navigated around. What a challenge for these businesses! Everything was fresh, tasty, and seasoned just enough to be flavorful without going overboard. Those beans with the Two Tacos almost tasted molé level seasoned while sitting being balanced enough to not be overboard. The Washington Cod & Fries... never had a crispier crunch on a batter than this, while still keeping the fish inside flakey fresh and perfectly cooked. The carrot cake? Fuhgettabput it... shared by two makes it a perfect ending treat without needing to be rolled out the door,.. or just walk in and have that with a cuppa coffee.

Yelp
Came here during happy hour from 2-5pm weekday and it was great. Service was super friendly and attentive. Loved the oysters and Crispy Oaxacan Hot Shrimp! Fries and fresh and crispy. Shrimp were fried and barely spicy in my opinion. Love the dressings that come with the oysters! Parking can be limited, but during happy hour I was able to find a free 2 hour street parking.

Yelp
I came here for a lunch with my boss, which was a nice option in the Orange Circle. First of all, the atmosphere and aesthetics is airy and beautiful. We both opted for the Power Lunch Picks that gives you two choices for $21.95. I chose the Tuna Poke and Two Fish Tacos. You have your choice of fish and tortillas for the tacos as well, which I got cod and flour. Although my boss had ordered a drink, they completely forgot and it never came. It was even charged on the bill, which we had to ask to remove. For the food itself, the flavor is good but the dishes are so minimal. The poke had literally 5-6 pieces of fish with some taro chips. The fish tacos are presented nicely, but also not filling. I left quite unsatisfied and ended up making food at home. Decor and vibes on points, but value of food wasn't worth. The customer service was a bit lacking when we were trying to order or ask about our drink. Overall, glad I tried but won't be coming back.

Yelp
Thank you Mike & Sarah for your generous hospitality. My wife and I were greeted, acknowledged, and welcomed the moment we arrived. I can't remember the last time I experienced all 3 feelings at a restaurant. The best part was that we were taken care of from the beginning to the end. Both, our servers and Sarah checked on us throughout our meal. The food came out on time and the food was delicious as usual. The oysters are always fresh, and I absolutely devoured the double cheeseburger that I ordered. Ask for the habanero sauce (very good). I was also able to try some of the black cod that my wife ordered and the sauce that comes with it packs a lot of flavor. We were also grateful for the surprise dessert. =) I'm glad we gave this spot a 2nd try, otherwise we would have regretted it. Thank you O Sea!

Yelp
Tucked away in downtown Orange, this place is definitely worth checking out. The seafood has a distinctive flair, and the dishes I've tried have been quite delicious. Although there are a few booths available, I'm not particularly fond of the wall seating, as it feels a bit cramped. The service was friendly, though.

Yelp
Came here w a friend on Saturday , and discovered their happy hour on the weekend -- incredible deal Allison and her staff were phenomenal. Get the Thai oat milk brown sugar dessert-- blew us away. We will be coming back -- great service, great flavors and just phenomenal experience.

Yelp
The vibe of the restaurant is modern chic. I really loved how clean and crisp everything is; from the lights, to the tables, to the plates, and even the napkins. O Sea has the cleanliness of a high end sushi place. The staff also personifies the same vibe. I really enjoyed sitting inside O Sea. The dining room is delightful. We ordered a couple of dishes as we were a bit full. The Spicy Wild Tahitian Albacore Tuna on Crispy Rice was a bit disappointing. The Crispy rice was really thick. Too thick. Also the fish seemed a bit soggy with everything on it. And the taste was a bit bland. The Mexicali Market Plate with Wild Mexican Mahi Mahi was pretty good. The plate is a lot smaller than what you would think a $30 plate would be; however, the taste is good. The fish is served on a bed of roasted corn and tomatoes and a cilantro sauce. It was legit. I also loved the subtle lemon flavors I got from the fish. This was a good dish, even if the quantity is small proportional to the price. I am excited to go back and try some other dishes out!

Hyota T.

Yelp
I ordered albacore tuna poke bowl which is very good, everything is well seasoned and well plated. I would say theres not enough rice comparing to the ratio of fish, pickled mushroom and seaweed salad. I found this restaurant through looking at some sustainable choices of restaurant in OC where i live and im happy i choose O SEA, i love how they are dedicated to their sources of food, partnering with organization for sustainable practices for greener and cleaner environment, responsible cooking practices. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
The food was incredible. Happy hour everyday from 2pm-5pm. However, the highlight of the ambiance was the SERVICE. Filly L. our server guided us through the menu and recommended what he thought we would love based on our conversation. TYSM Filly!!

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend when here for dinner. I just check in and they seat me right away. When we first come in, the atmosphere is really nice. I love the vibes of this restaurant! Since i reserved the outdoor, so many people comes to see O sea and wanted to eat at this beautiful restaurant! The services is really good. Even though we seat outside but they always check on us to make sure we enjoy the food and have a great time. The food is amazing!! The way the served is so beautiful presented! I love how it looks simple and yet so many flavor in my mouth at the same time. I remember how sustainable this restaurant is. They don't served a water of bottle but they served in a big bottle of water and they give us a glass. It is really nice to see a restaurant that is really care about the environment. The way they didn't spend a little things for this restaurant to make it not sustainable. The decorations and light ambient are spectacular. It felt so simple and yet so comfortable to sit and enjoy the food. The employees are really nice too! Love to come over here again! Maybe next time I wanna bring my family to this place since I saw a lot of family coming over here to enjoy this delicious food!

Yelp
Wonderful Sunday lunch at O Sea. Very calm and peaceful restaurant. Not loud and busy like most. The food was excellent. Loved everything we ordered especially the tuna with crispy rice. Perfect crunch. The mussels Thai sauce was amazing and great to dip your bread in and fries too! The fish and chips were excellent too. Light, flaky and crispy fish perfectly paired with tasty tartar sauce and refreshing cucumbers. Definitely want to come back and try other dishes.

Yelp
Talk about HAPPY hour!!! This is an understatement, your experience will be beyond HAPPY! Beautiful sleek and refined decor. Service is amazing and food is phenomenal. I tend to ramble on and on about how delicious everything is but today I'll seal it with a KISS!!! I'll KEEP IT SIMPLE S***** Worth a try, once will be LOVE at first BITE, bon appetite!

Yelp
Whenever we travel, we look for good seafood restaurants and O Sea was one on my list! I made a reservation on Open Table. We ordered the fried calamari which was very tasty and crispy, the fish tacos and the Lean and Mean Plate! Hubby has his mind on fish tacos whenever we travel but he is used to the Mexican version which isn't as healthy as the ones he had tonight! He had the two fish tacos, one with one ono and one cod. As for me I ordered the lean and mean plate as I try to eat healthy whenever I can and whenever I'm traveling. So I had the cod which was perfect and it comes with a big green mixed salad. Parking was a bit tricky as it was dark and rainy but we found one a block and half and we weren't familiar with the area. Otherwise, we would have parked in the public parking lot. Service was attentive and friendly and a relaxing casual ambience in the restaurant.

Yelp
Great spot for happy hour! They have 50% off wine bottles and a discounted menu. Reservation is easy to make on Open Table. Oysters (4/5): not the best quality but good for happy hour prices! Hot Shrimp (5/5): really tasty, highly recommend. Mussels (3.5/5): flavor was missing something for me but overall good. Black Cod (5/5): this was delicious! Overall highly recommend coming for happy hour between 2-5. Love the ambiance and the customer service was excellent.

Yelp
Whenever we come to Old Town Orange, we are sure to stop and eat here. We came to town to walk around and stopped in for dinner. You can ALWAYS count on seeing the owner here. He greets you and sits you down. Super nice and stays quick to say hi. We started with the Crispy Rice. Yummy! The rice crisp was perfect and spicy tuna flavorful. I had the mahi-mahi tacos and they were tasty. My favorite part was the sauce and cucumbers. Great portion and filling with black beans and rice. My hubby had a garden salad with cod and he too said it was tasty, cooked well and filling. The restrooms are always really clean, the temperature is perfect! Not too cold and I'm never hot, which typically happens to me at restaurants. The place is always picture perfect too. If you're a wine lover, they got you!!! If you're ever in Orange you need to come to O Sea!!!
google avatar

Katrina V.

Yelp
Decided to give this place a try and glad we did. It was busy during OC restaurant week but we made reservations so wait wasn't too long. I like they offered an option to get a drink while you wait for your table. Great wine selection. Service was quick and attentive. This would've been a 5 star but I felt that my food was room temperature. Desserts were delicious and I'm not big on sweets but the Thai blonde sundae was just right as not overlying sweet and had great flavor balance and crunch texture. Parking is a challenge as off a main road. I'd return to try their other items

Yelp
This restaurant is super cute for a date, with modern touches and a nautical vibe. You can make reservations on OpenTable, but it is so spacious inside that you probably don't need to! We came for happy hour on a Friday at 2pm and got seated immediately. The happy hour deals and options are pretty good. I also recommend coming for lunch on a Monday-Friday from 11:30AM-4:00PM and getting the "power lunch picks". Service was great throughout our meal. :) 1) Spicy albacore tuna on crispy rice 3/5 2) Tuna poke: I loveee the taro chips! The poke was a little oily, though. 3/5 3) Mahi mahi fish tacos: You can pick corn or flour tortillas. Not the best tacos I've had, didn't have much flavor. 3/5 4) Salmon O Sea burrito: Great flavor, but came apart and was leaking the juices! 4/5

Yelp
Always love this place! Love the aesthetic and the food; today we ordered some oysters, ciopino and poke, but the poke and ciopino taste too sweet for my liking but the ingredients are fresh and flavorful though, if the taste can be less sweet, I would enjoy it even more. Service is always good here!

Yelp
We came in on Christmas Eve, so as you can imagine it was packed. With every single table full our service was still spectacular. The food was really good, the Caesar salad was a table favorite along with the albacore on crispy rice. We also loved the wine flights. We had a party of 11 and all enjoyed everything from the service to the food! Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. We will be back!

Yelp
O Sea is my favorite restaurant at the Orange Circle! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice while making you feel at home too. They have an excellent wine list, but their food is what keeps me coming back. Everything I have tried has been fantastic. The ceviches, pokes, and agua chiles are fresh and tasty, and change seasonally. The spicy tuna on crispy rice and the bursts are my favorite appetizers. And the blonde is a must for dessert! If you can make it for happy hour, they do 50% off bottles of wine... an amazing deal!

Yelp
Me and my friend were in the area for the farmers market and were looking for a place to get lunch. I found this restaurant on Yelp and we decided to try it. We got the farmed Chilean salmon ceviche, the super Tuscan plate with salmon and the steamed Pei mussels in Thai green curry. All the dishes were delicious!

Yelp
I took my gf here for her birthday and it was a disappointment. Prior to us coming there, someone from the restaurant called and confirmed the reservation that I've made. I mentioned the dinner was to celebrate my gf's bday and asked if I can purchase a dessert prior to coming there. The girl said not to worry and that it will be complementary from the restaurant. Great! We got there and ordered our food and a bottle of wine. A blond girl came out and asked who was the bday girl. I pointed to my gf and she continued asking if it's her ACTUAL bday today, and my gf said no (as it was a few days before). I didn't think much of it. We continued with our dinner and next thing we know, our waitress handed me the bill and that was the end of our night. Like...wtheck? Do we have to actually come on our birthday to get a complementary bday dessert? I was happy to pay extra for it and they said it was on the house. What a way to ruin someone's bday celebration. Not everyone celebrate their bday on the actual day because they need to prioritize their family first. Other than that, most of the dishes that we ordered were bland. The mussels we ordered were advertised to be flavorful and "spicy," did not have a kick at all. The ceviche...I don't even want to talk about. I can count how many speck of blue cheese on my salad and that's pretty sad.

Yelp
Clean and beautiful restaurant! They had a pretty good selection on their menu of seafood. I also really appreciated how wide their kids menu was for my little one. Service was decent as well. The cioppino was much spicier than expected!! Oysters were fresh and tasty. Salmon ceviche was good but in my opinion needed a bit more citrus component.

Yelp
A must get here is the whole sea bass with tortillas! It was fresh, flavorful and fun to wrap little tacos with it. I also really liked the grilled octopus. The oysters were very fresh, but pretty small. The cod burrito was extremely underwhelming we had a little cube of cod and we had to unwrap the whole thing just to make sure there was any fish. Came for a bday so they brought out this cute chocolate cake with marshmallow on top! I'd definitely come back again for the whole sea bass and octopus.

Yelp
We were in the area & wanted to eat seafood. I'm glad I got to try it but it was not my personal favorite as it is just a preference thing. I felt like everything was over seasoned & super salty. My fiance loved it, we also got a sea bass which was good but just too salty for my preference. The quality of the food is amazing, you can taste the food quality but like I said it was just too salty for me. Got the grilled cheese for the kids & pretty much tried everything I wanted to try. Good food, good service. The oysters, I will say are some of the best ones I have tried. Our bill was about $190, for this plus the sea bass fish.

Yelp
Great personable friendly service shout out to Casey B she is awesome making us feel like long time acquaintances even this is our 1st time dining here Ambiance is warm, elegant, casual, festive yet relaxing and not rushed at all Food is delicious and on point - Sea bass - Tijuana Caesar salad with skirt steak - raw oysters on the half shell We also had wine (half bottle size which is nice as there are only 2 of us so this size is perfect) to accompany the oysters - and to our surprise it was paid for by another customer as a token of appreciation for the brief but friendly encounter as we bumped into each other as we entered the establishment). The location in old town Orange makes this place even more attractive as one can browse around the many shops around, before or after dining here.

Yelp
Best happy hour in OC and a great corkage policy if you're friendly. Mike is the best and has amazing wines. The good is great and has something for the whole family.

Yelp
The food was really good. For a starter, the table shared the spicy tuna with crispy rice. I'm personally not a fan of spicy tuna, but the crispy rice was delicious! We also got a cup of chowder. Not the best I've ever had, but still tasty. They have a lot of options for local beers, which my boyfriend was happy for. I opted to try the daily agua fresca... Jamaica and lavender! Sooo good. My boyfriend and I shared the fish and chips and then the fish tacos (one with yellow tail and one with mahi mahi). Tacos, fish, and fries were perfection. The beans and rice left something to be desired, little bland I would say? Lastly, we split the Thai tea blonde sundae. 10000% recommend. The Thai tea caramel was amazing!

Yelp
Love O Sea! It's light, airy, and inviting and has become our favorite spot in the Orange Circle. From Mike and Sarah, to the friendly servers, they make you feel welcome when you walk in. Their wine program is unique and impressive, and they always have great recommendations. Love their corkage policy as well- and the community it builds with customers. Meals are consistently delicious and fresh. The fish burrito (try it with the spicy shrimp!), burger, and fish and chips are some of our faves.

Yelp
Updating some food pics, because O Sea food (and their whole experience) is always on point. Just want to mention their whole sea bass is amazing (new dish we tried), along with every dish on their menu. O Sea is definitely a family favorite. Some of our must have items include: Scallop small bites, ahi tuna small bites, oysters, and their burrito. You can never go wrong with any option at O Sea. Did I mention their whole sea bass is amazing? Definitely added to our "favorite" list. Also, they have an amazing wine list. I always save the wines I try from O Sea so I can see if I can find it for home. Thank you, O Sea, for always being a pleasure to visit
