The 16 Best Sorbet, Paleta, & Shaved Ice Spots In Los Angeles

"With brand ambassadors like Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, it’s clear that Oakobing is LA's best option for Korean bingsoo. The shaved ice dessert looks like a feathery mountain: delicate shavings of ice draped on top of itself, creating a slightly woozy visual effect akin to a Salvador Dalí painting. Toppings range from rich decadency (think Oreo tiramisu or caramel macchiato drizzles) to tangy fresh fruit, but our favorite is the injeolmi. Compared to Oakobing’s other flavors, the injeolmi is wonderfully subdued—a roasted soy bean powder that’s sprinkled over a bed of snow and accompanied by sweet, glutinous rice cakes and red bean." - kat hong, garrett snyder, arden shore, sylvio martins

They make individual portions of Korean bingsu 😍! They also sell the regular giant ones inside of melons. And it looks like they actually use snow ice, which is much softer than regular shaved ice. Now you can kindly tell your friend to "get your own bingsu" without worrying about cooties.

The place was super packed! Which I can see why! Loved their shaved ice cream for sure! Ordered: Mango Melon Shaved Ice 10/10 Mango single size Shaved Ice 10/10 Also got their Injeolmi Latte 6/10 Wanted to try it to see how it was, but it was not really to my liking! Overall experience 10/10 Super fast with their orders! Felt super light, and I'll definitely see myself coming back to try this!

Google
I feel a bit bad saying this, because the matcha latte was actually pretty nice — smooth, not too sweet, and refreshing. But the place was super busy when we went, and it kind of threw off the vibe a little. Lots of people packed into a small space, so it felt a bit chaotic instead of chill. I know that’s normal for a popular café, but I guess I was hoping for something a little more relaxed to enjoy the drink. Still — the presentation was good, the drink tasted nice, and the staff seemed like they were doing their best under pressure. Just not the most peaceful spot if you’re hoping to slow down and hang out.

First off, the street leading to this place feels like a scene straight out of a zombie apocalypse movie. You park in the back for $5 and walk through a dark, sketchy alley just to enter through the rear. Not exactly welcoming. Inside, it’s chaotic and packed (as expected on a Sunday), but even if seating were available, I wouldn’t have sat down. The tables and chairs looked like they hadn’t been wiped down all day. The entire place smelled awful—like a dirty diaper mixed with rotting fruit. The floor was sticky, the air was humid, and the ice shaving station looked filthy. I don’t even want to imagine what’s behind the curtain. The staff were changing gloves regularly (as they should). I ordered a small shaved ice and paid $9.31. The fruit came in exactly six sad little pieces, and it's just shaved ice. Honestly, you’d be doing someone a disservice by recommending this spot—or anywhere this area. Between the price, the cleanliness, the smell, and the setting, I don't understand the high reviews.

Google
This was my second time visiting Oakobing. While the shaved ice is delicious, my overall impression of the place hasn’t been great—both visits left me feeling disappointed. First, the store is quite small, so waiting for a table is already a stressful experience. On top of that, the dessert prep area looked unclean, and the floors were noticeably dirty. During my first visit (on December 25, 2024), I was able to park in the parking structure without any issues. However, today (June 16, 2025), I see that valet parking was now required upon entering. They charged $5 for cash or $5.50 for Apple Pay, but the strange part was—they told me to park the car myself. If I’m self-parking, why am I paying a valet fee? When I got out of the car, the person collecting payments was just sitting there scrolling on his phone. The structure itself had plenty of open spots (probably because it’s Father’s Day), yet later I saw him valet another car and park it right in front of mine, completely blocking it. The whole experience was illogical and frustrating from start to finish. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location. I’ll probably try the Pasadena branch next time and hope for a better experience.

Google
THIS refreshing dessert was worth the trouble finding a parking space! Amazingly sweet melon on the mango melon shave ice was the highlight! We also had the Oreo tiramisu shave ice which was a wonderful chocolaty complement to the fruitiness of the melon. The shave ice seemed less like ice and more like a creamy dairy dessert, quite wholesome tasting. Dining room was packed with other customers but we were able to find a table. I like ordering from the kiosk which gives thorough descriptions and has large photos of each item.

Google
My group got the single size Sesame and Mango Melon. The sign outside did not have all the flavors. Personally I did not care for the sesame since it was coconut base. The Mango shaved ice was good but I didn't like how the shaved ice were in ribbons. It was difficult to get a scoop without spilling some on the table... which is why probably why the tables are sticky!

Google
I’ve place a togo order as parking and waiting could be extreme for the dessert. I understand how it comes could be a little different, but the shaved ice came as pushed down. Also I’ve ordered the melon one, expected to be delivered in a half melon as promoted. However it was delivered in a paper cup, which I would’ve just ordered smaller portion it that was the case. It was extremely disappointed as it didn’t taste anything different nor surprising.

Google
I came here on a Sunday evening and the line was pretty long. They had kiosks that we ordered at and seating inside and outside. I would recommend scouting out the seating situation while you're in line. The dessert was yummy! Not overwhelmingly sweet and also light and fluffy. If I could do it again, I would probably ask for extra fruit!

Yelp
Soft flavorful shaved ice Sooo good!! This place reminds me of the shaved ice I got in Asia and it has been a journey looking for a place that reminds me of home. The wait isn't too terrible, self checkout, good amount of seating, and friendly staff who aren't shy with the ice. Pricing isn't too bad $22 for 3 add ons and the shaved ice. We did end up eating the melon in the car because there were no seats in the store or outside but wasn't bad! Satisfied our sweet tooth

Yelp
I went to Oakobing in K-town and it was really good. The green tea shaved ice was so light refreshing and honestly one of the best I've had. The black sesame was okay but lacked a ton of flavor so definitely get the green tea if you go The place has a casual vibe and the staff are super quick which is nice since they were so busy. Took a moment to find a place to sit but maybe it's better during the middle of the week or earlier in the day. The bingsu comes with condensed milk on the side so you can control how sweet it is and it's topped with chewy mochi which I loved. Pro tip: let it sit for a minute so the ice softens and absorbs the flavors it tastes even better that way. Parking is typical K-town so be ready to park in a paid lot nearby. Portions are big great for sharing. I'd probably come back for the green tea bingsu w mochi if in the area, def try it!!

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a light sweet treat, you definitely have to check this place out. My son sent me this spot and I decided to treat him. We decided on the Melon Strawberry shaved iced which comes with a cream topping which paired so well with the ice. There are 3 kiosk to place your order which makes the process so easy. Presentation wise this was an art piece! I spent about $17 on the ice which can easily be shared between 4 people. I would definitely recommend sharing this experience with someone. A must try when you're in the area.

Yelp
Great place for dessert. Their shaved snow are amazing. Lot of selection and reasonable price. We had the single serve mango melon, it's big enough for two persons to share. Limited seats though.

Yelp
Still good and still awesome anytime in any weather!!! Highly recommended and I dare you to only try one!! So many great variations and choices but definitely recommend adding extra creamy milk sauce!!

Yelp
Such a fun concept for a dessert place! Good: - Huge portion sizes, we got 3 personal sized ones and it was too much for sure - Really tasty mochi sides, I liked how chewy each ball was - Loved the mango and strawberry flavors! I like how the shaved ice cream is very light and not too filling, not too sweet - I liked how many options and customizations you could get Bad: - Lots of people so seating is a luxury but we got a nice long table! Overall a fun hang to go to with more than 2 friends!

Yelp
Came back the next day and got the strawberry! It was so soft and creamy . On a Saturday night the line is very long, so get there early.

Yelp
I'm sure you have all heard that we eat with our eyes. As soon as I saw the pictures of the shaved dice offered here I knew we had to try it. Upon entering you place your order on the kiosk and they call your number when it's ready. I got mine pretty fast and was excited to try it. I chose the green tea flavor and added mochi to it. It was super good not too sweet. I would say this is a dessert you can share with one more person as it is a good portion. Yum yum yum!

Yelp
Bingsoo place with large portions! We went here after dinner and it was fairly busy, and it gets tricky since you pay first and choose to dine-in or to-go, with most people opting to dine-in for the best presentation and quality. Afterwards, you find an available table which can be challenging during peak hours, sometimes you have to stand if you bring a large group. We got the mango melon, strawberry, green tea, and oreo tiramisu (single size). The single size is good for solo but also not as good of a presentation as the regular portions that feed 2-4 people, but I am glad they provided this option as a lot of places force you to overorder. The mango melon was okay - the melon is a nice touch for presentation but the mango bingsoo felt a bit too boring as-is. The strawberry one is a bit more delicious even though it is just one fruit, but I would recommend adding a topping like mochi to give more variety. The green tea one is probably my favorite, and it comes with red bean and mochi. The oreo tiramisu is okay, but I found it interesting they gave a shot of espresso to add as much or as little as you want to your liking.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here Tuesday night and got the Green Tea single shaved ice while my friend got the Oreo Tiramisu single shaved ice. We ordered through the kiosk and our order arrived in about 5-10 minutes. The green tea came with a side of condensed milk, mochi, and red beans. For ~$7.50, I thought it was worth it. The shaved ice was very soft and fluffy. I really like how the matcha is incorporated into the ice because with every bite, you'll have a matcha flavor. The mochi and the red beans were a nice refreshing touch to it. For the Oreo Tiramisu, it was also delicious, fluffy, and soft. Really like how the powdered chocolate was in between each layer and having the Oreo crumbs didn't make it too sweet. The shot of espresso also helped balanced the sweetness if anything. Overall, I thought this place was delicious. Both shaved ice melted so effortlessly in my mouth. The staffs were prompt with our order. The price was reasonable. The portion size for a single shaved ice was big and can actually be shared amongst two people. Parking can be tough but is doable. Would I come back? Yes!

Yelp
It can get super crowded during busy times so beware, you might have to wait a while. Also, street parking can be difficult to find around this area. Texture wise, this might be the best shaved ice I've had, there is something super unique about the way they make their dessert. Condensed milk comes on the side, and the shaved ice was just a little sweet for my preference. The regular size is pretty big though, so come ready to eat! Also it comes served in a melon, which is fun

Yelp
My absolute favorite shaved ice spot no doubt. Their shaved ice is more like shaved milk since it's so creamy and decadent but made with the texture of Korean shaved ice, aka bingsu. I tried the matcha green tea which to me was too light in flavor so I didn't prefer it and I don't think I'd be ordering it again. This is coming from someone who loves matcha since it wasn't rich in taste or color. What I did love though was the black sesame flavor. I ordered the black sesame milkshake on a whim since it asked if I wanted to add anything during checkout at the kiosk, and I couldn't resist. I was going to order a mini bingsu instead just so I could try out the flavor but this opportunity arose and I'm so glad I didn't skip it. The black sesame was so rich in flavor and nuttiness that I downed the whole milkshake in less than 5 minutes. There is no doubt I will be ordering the bingsu version of this next time. It was pretty crowded at 10 p.m. on a Sunday night both inside and outside because I guess we all had the same idea to enjoy shaved ice. That said, we were able to grab a seat in the corner and the items came out quickly.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
Came here for the fantastic bingsu and we were not disappointed! We tried the Mango Melon, Green Tea, Injeolmi, and Black Sesame. Most in our group liked the Black Sesame best and then the Injeolmi second best. Service was quick, but it was hard to find a table.
google avatar

Yelp
The best shaved ice I have ever tried in LA area so yummy and so soft. Definitely, will come back again.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
My favorite dessert/bingsu spot in Ktown! If you arrive on at night on a weekend, expect at least a 15min wait. My go-tos are the melon and black sesame bingsu with mochi. There are two sizes, individual and to share, which is enough for 3-4 people. The flavor of the ice is so pure, and the texture is like a light ice cream. Really enjoy how it pairs with the mochi. Vibes are always good here, and the bingsu is addicting!
google avatar

Mikaela I.

Yelp
Oakobing is a pretty popular bingsoo spot because there's always a lot of customers every time I come here. It's especially packed on weekend nights when everyone's trying to get something sweet after dinner in Koreatown. If you do come on the weekend, be prepared to see every table occupied. This cozy dessert place has a couple kiosks to place your order, and the staff will call out your order number when your bingsoo's ready. I'm glad they have different sizes available, because sometimes my family orders way too many full-size bingsoo and we aren't able to finish everything. During this visit, we just ordered a single serve mango melon bingsoo to split between 3 people, since we were still pretty full from eating dinner at a restaurant nearby. The bingsoo is refreshing and sweet. We topped it off with some mochi bits and condensed milk. It was so yummy! They have valet parking available in the building's garage. And bathrooms are available, you just need to use Oakobing's restroom key.

Yelp
When you FINALLY scratch the itch!! I've been craving Mango Bingsoo for the longest time, but of course, there are no places near me in the boonies. =( I'm so thankful for friends who frequent L.A. and let me tag along!! After a fun-filled day with a big surprise, we ended up here at Oakobing since it was the first place that popped up on Yelp, a 12 minute drive from where we were, and it was open late. The reviews don't lie. This place cracks, and it's not hard to see why. They have a simple menu at decent prices, and even though the wait may be long, it is 100% worth it!! I usually see bingsoo in a large amount, which they offer here in addition to the single size. I wouldn't get one because I can't finish a huge one on my own, and I usually roll solo. I'm glad to see they offer single sizes here! I got my Mango fix and added Mochi on the side. All flavors come with condensed milk (it's watery, so I don't think it's the sweetened kind). It hit the spot and was just enough to satisfy me. My friend had the Black Sesame, and that was good, too. They have seating indoors and outside, but they were packed. It is pretty loud in here! We paid through the kiosk and waited about 20-25 minutes before our order was ready. We took them and ate at the onigiri place down the street on the corner. Parking here is rough, but we parked in a public garage nearby. There's also a designated parking spot, but we didn't see where it was. We just walked by the sign. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some bomb Bingsoo! I'd come again for sure!
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
The shaved ice itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've had. Since it seemed like a popular spot in the area, we decided to give it a try. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, just for the experience. We got the mango melon single size Bingsu which was just enough for two as a nice light dessert. The day we visited, it was very busy, but we managed to find a seat for two. One thing I found odd was the $5 parking fee just to eat there but I would have expected the place to validate parking.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
Bingsu time~~~ Coming here has become part of our routine. After dinner, instead of heading straight back to the room, we come here for some bingsu. A simple bowl of bingsu and some guy talk. The bingsu here is a bit different--it has a chewy texture? Maybe you could say it's somewhat like gelato? My top pick is the Injeolmi Bingsu.
google avatar

Jocy C.

Yelp
After eating delicious Tomahawk Steak, one must finish the meal with dessert, of course! A quick Yelp search and Oakobing shows up nearby in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Oakobing is focused on "Bingsu" or "Bingsoo", which is popular Korean Shaved Ice Dessert with various toppings and side of condensed milk on top. My friend tried their "Mango Melon" and I tried their "Black Sesame". Warning - the portions are super large (2 persons can actually just share 1 dessert). Service was quick and easy. We ordered on screen and the desserts were ready in about 5 to 10 minutes. There was a short line of people in front of us. Ambiance is casual / self serve. *Note - we came at that awkward time between lunch and dinner, so the store wasn't super busy and there were seats available* Delicious! Giant portions!
google avatar

Sherry W.

Yelp
Oakobing was on my list and figure on a hot day we should treat ourself with this cold and refreshing dessert. Shop is large but narrow in the front of shop. We welcomed the AC shop as it was really hot outside. Shop was full and we had to wait to get a table but it was okay as the ordering/waiting took abit. We decided on mango bingsu and ordered side of the honey red beans. We grabbed some extra napkins to clean the table we found as it was sticky and wobbly. Dining area need more attention as it was super busy and hard for staff to even clean in between customers. Bingsu was so good. Abit too sweet for my friend but I enjoyed it. I wish the side of the red beans was larger portion. The bingsu was leaning on a side from their weight and was abit messy to eat as it got sticky everywhere. Overall great treat. Yum!
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
Oakobing has some of the best bingsu I've had in LA. They provide a small cup of condensed milk with each order to pour over the top to your liking. Ordering was done through a kiosk and is quick and easy. This location is small with limited seating and gets incredibly dirty towards mid/late afternoon, especially in the summertime. Please avoid the bathroom at all costs unless you really need to use it. It was filthy and every surface was sticky, but the lack of cleanliness is understandable given employees are always tied up with orders and don't have down time for anything else. The bingsu itself would be 4 stars, but overall giving this 3 stars because I didn't have a great experience with cleanliness.
google avatar

Nikki T.

Yelp
SO YUMMY!! this is my favorite dessert spot this is a pretty popular dessert spot at night and it can get packed & hard to find seating because a lot of groups of friends come to chill so people are hovering over tables to claim seats i enjoy that it's a kiosk to order from makes it easy & i feel way less anxious ordering! this time around we got two single serving sizes in mango melon & strawberry to share between 4 people & it was just enough!! i've also gotten the large green tea shaved ice and thats good for 2-4 people! we added mochi and i like that it's ok the side so you can add as you please honestly can't go wrong with any of the flavors here
google avatar

Melrose Y.

Yelp
The bingsu is delicious! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the flavors here. I recently got the black sesame bc I can never say no to black sesame. The single person is the perfect size that 1 or 2 people can honestly share it. If you want to share with even more people then the regular size would be good for 2-3 people. The only bummer about this place is that the parking situation is terrible.. that's ktown for ya! Also depending on the day/time you come here, it can get really busy. Surprisingly, when I came on a Saturday night after having dinner it wasn't too busy that my friends and I were able to snag a table inside.
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
It's difficult to get a table, but one you find 1, this shaved I've is the best. It's so finely cut that the flavor is evenly distributed throughout the shaved ice without syrup on top. It's got an almost ice cream like smoothness and the portion is large. I'd start with a small unless you're with a big group. I'd go back if I was back in LA.
google avatar

Dan W.

Yelp
This very popular dessert spot serves shaved ice desserts as well as some specialty drinks. It's a very small place and during busy times, it can be very difficult to secure a table, so bring those eagle eyes and be prepared to snipe! Tried the mango melon and the black sesame. Personally I feel like the flavors are very mild and subdued and not interesting enough for me! But people seem to really love this place. And the portions are decently large.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
Came with a dear friend for an afternoon dessert! The black sesame shaved ice was AMAZING! It is a HUGE portion for 2 people to share! We got extra mochi as well as red beans! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, quality shaved ice! Will be back to try matcha and/or some of their other fun flavors like tiramisu Oreo and/or strawberries!
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
Amazing bingsoo spot that lives up to the hype! We tried the Injeolmi Shaved Ice, which is a sweet milky and slightly nutty flavor. This is my favorite bingsoo I have ever tried in the states. Usually bingsoo has a more icy taste to it, but this bingsoo tastes more so like refined iced condensed milk. The only downside is that parking is very rough and to find a spot inside is equally challenging. If you're ever in k town in LA, definitely consider trying this spot!
google avatar

Kyle B.

Yelp
I've had many desserts over the years. But this right here might be in the top three. Maybe top two. This is a elevated version of shaved ice, also a much healthier option than other frozen desserts like ice cream and gelato. The ordering process is very simple and done at a kiosk, many different options of add-ons are available, but I kept it pretty standard. Parking can be tricky on the street, the easiest option is paying the $5 fee and parking in the garage right next door to the business.
google avatar

Mary M.

Yelp
Loved this dessert spot! Ordered the single serving of green tea and it was just the ideal afternoon treat. Soft, melty texture. Simple and lightly earthy green tea flavor. The mochi and the drizzle added to the flavor and the creaminess of the dessert. The single serving size is bigger than expected but really is a great option when you can't decide on one flavor or if you just want to go by yourself and don't want a mountain of bingsoo. Seating can be a slight wait on busier days, but you'll usually find a spot by the time your order is ready. Loud but enjoyable setting. There is a restroom with key and the staff has good turnaround time for orders.

Yelp
Came here because my daughter suggested it as she's tried it before with her friends. It was my first time here because we usually go to Sul & Beans. We bought 2 single serve bingsu (Strawberry and Mango Flavor) $7.50 each I think to try both flavors and i think the serving portion is enough for 2 Teenage girls, a 10 yr old boy and 2 adults. Their Bingsu here is way more creamier and it is flavored. However the downside is that it is less toppings compared to Sul & Beans. The Condense milk is not as thick as Sul & Beans, to me it looks more or evap milk. So I think if your after the toppings go to Sul & Beans but if you're after a creamy flavored shaved ice with little toppings then go here at Oakobing. NOTE: The price of largest size of Bingsu depends on the flavor like for example the mango is I think around $14.50ish (can't recall exactly) BUT the serving size is WAYYYY MORE than Sul & Beans and just by looking at it it looks like it is good for 4 people (Sul & Bean is only good for 2 and only has 1 size) The service was good, the wait is also long because this place gets really busy and you will have to patiently wait for a vacant table if you want to dine in or you are more than welcom to take it to go and ask for lid upon ordering at kiosk machine. The ambience was okay, average noise. The place is smaller than Sul & Beans and the parking is behind the bldg (alley entrace) NOTE: valet only for $5 flat rate. We enjoyed it here and will be back!

Yelp
After having lunch we wanted something refreshing for dessert and went to Oakobing. This place is known for serving up some scrumptious bingsu and they didn't disappoint! We tried their melon bingsu, served in a unique melon bowl with melon balls and topped with condensed milk. It was absolutely delicious! The bingsu was so tasty and the melons were sweet and juicy, making for a perfect dessert experience. So if you're in the mood for something sweet, be sure to check out Oakobing and give their melon bingsu a try.
google avatar

Tianhui Y.

Yelp
One of my favorite bingsu places. The flavour is integrated into the shaved ice so there is an equal distribution of flavour in each bite. The shaved ice is also soft and fluffy - not crunchy at all. My favorite flavour was definitely Injeolmi. The nutty flavour paired very well with the red bean and the mochi bites were a nice touch. Black sesame and mango were also delicious. Green tea was good and definitely tastes more like green tea rather than matcha. Oreo tiramisu was good but the coffee flavour comes from a shot of espresso that they provide on the side. It was difficult to pour it over the bingsu without making a mess - I think it couldve been better they use coffee shaved ice instead.

Yelp
This place has great shaven ice! It's like eating actual snow with toppings. We tried out the mango melon and the Oreo ice with mochi. Portions are plenty! It's K-Town so parking can be sparse but we always get lucky and easily find something on the street. It's pretty busy in there but the staff is super nice. I'll be coming here again.

Oakobing might just be the best place for bingsoo in the area, especially if you like fruity flavors. There are plenty of tables but I can see it getting really busy during weekend nights. Ordering is quick, and I like that there are options for smaller sizes because I don't eat much. It does take a little for the bingsoo to be made and come out. The store is cute but parking can be difficult because it's LA.

Yelp
We ordered a Single Injeolmi Shaved Ice with a side of Oreo and a Single Strawberry Shaved Ice. We never had Injeolmi before but it ended up being our favorite between the two. It was sweet and had a nutty flavor profile. The strawberry shaved ice reminded me of those Hispanic strawberries and crème ice cream bars. This is a great flavor if you want to play it safe. They call out your order by name but do expect to wait. The quality of their product is good so be okay with waiting. You can't rush art!

Yelp
Oh my gosh, you HAVE to check this place out! We stumbled upon it on a Friday night while searching for a fun spot to hang out and have desserts, and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint! Most of their desserts are around $15ish, if I remember correctly, and we tried the Mango, Melon, and Taro (black). All of them were absolutely AMAZING! I can't recommend them enough! Yes, the line might look a bit intimidating, but it's totally worth the wait! As for parking, we ended up on the wrong side and paid $6, but the building has its own parking (not sure about the cost), or you can take your chances with street parking if you're lucky. There's seating inside and outside, so you can enjoy your treats in a cozy setting. Highly recommend! AND OH, you can share with 2-3 friends if you are a small tummy to fill Enjoy!

Yelp
Delicious and refreshing desserts. The shaved ice is so unique and beautifully presented. Portions are really good too. Parking here is $5 but it's worth it.

Yelp
Such creamyyyy bingsu!! Highly recommend trying the green tea one--not too sweet but perfectly satisfying. The red bean and mochi are such good compliments to the ice. Sat outside because inside was packed, but otherwise would be a nice place to sit with friends. Service is pretty hands-off. Definitely come here for a sweet treat.

Yelp
The store is quite small but comfortable and we went on a Monday night and it was so crowded and we had to hover to get a seat It was easy to order and wait for your number. I got confused and ordered two large bingsu when I wanted to order 2 small. So I think I missed something in the system It was delicious and good value for money. We ordered black sesame and injeolmi and loved it

Yelp
Note that a single serve is still quite large. Would recommend two people to share the single serve.

Yelp
A refreshing treat after stuffing yourself at a nearby Korean eatery!! The cantaloupe shaved ice is guaranteed to turn heads because it's majestic. The cantaloupe balls were so good and ripe to pair with the not-too-sweet milky shaved ice. They have plenty of tables inside and outside of the establishment so my group didn't have trouble finding a seat. 10/10!!!

Yelp
The shaved ice dessert here is better than I expected. I have had quite a few of these delicious desserts at different locations domestically and internationally. This location knows what they are doing and it's doing dessert justice! The creaminess and light ribbons of the ice was incredible, balanced by the flavor and right amount of sweetness. Definitely refreshing and delicious. A must try in K-Town. They are super busy and it's a tiny location so it will be hard to find a table and expect long wait for your order. Yelp
A fantastic Bingsoo place in LA. I really enjoyed what we got and would come back here again. We went here on a Saturday afternoon after lunch and we ordered the Green tea and Melon Bing soo. They were both fantastic, I really enjoyed the flavors of both and the mochi that the green tea bingsoo came with was a great addition. There is also free water there which is really nice to clear your palate a little bit. The restaurant was really clean and we ordered everything using a touch screen that was in the front of the screen. The service was nice as well. Parking seemed to be slightly difficult to find however we got lucky and found one.

Yelp
My all-time favorite spot for bingsoo! I think about the Black Sesame Bingsoon on a daily basis because it is that good! It's more like shaved ice cream instead of flavored ice. Service is friendly but tends to be slower when busy (as expected)! This is the spot for grabbing sweet treats with friends at night, as I find that's when they are the busiest. I love coming here with my friends!

Yelp
Most definitely the best shave ice I've had although it's more like shave Ice with cream. We ordered the strawberry in a melon shell with red bean. It comes with strawberries and honeydew melon balls pressed into the ice. It's very shaved and fluffy and we shared amongst 4. There are tables and this place was crowded when we went even on a cold night. Parking is ample in a parking structure. I would definitely come back and enjoy and try the other flavors.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the Mango Melon. This refreshing dessert features mango-flavored shaved ice served in a whole melon bowl, topped with fresh melon balls. The taste was simply out of this world! The combination of juicy mango flavor and the sweetness of fresh melon balls created a perfect harmony that left me craving more. the shaved ice was incredibly light and fluffy, providing a wonderful contrast to the rich, creamy milk drizzle. Oakobing's Mango Melon is a must try for anyone looking to experience a unique and delicious dessert.

Yelp
Absolutely one of my favorite dessert places in ktown. Not sure why I have never made a review for this place. I have been coming here many, many times and always bring friends out of town to this spot. Cons are that it's pretty small with limited seating. Parking can be hard in this area, they do have limited paid spots. But the shaved ice should be the standard for your expectations of bingsoo. Other dessert places in town will sell shaved ice but just not at the same grade in taste and presentation as Oakobing. Green tea is my favorite next to mango and the no longer sold cantaloupe. Featured is also a strawberry winter special I got a few months ago! Hope you try it out

Yelp
This place is popular so be prepared to fight for a table at peak hours! We were able to snag the last outside but it was right under a tree so thankfully, we were under the shade. Service: 4/5 Not much interaction except when picking up because ordering is done through a kiosk. But the employees are so quick and efficient even with a large crowd. Dessert: 5/5 4 of us opted for a single serving for 4 different flavors! Mango + mango melon + strawberry - Super refreshing and very light! Not too sweet until we added condensed milk to them lol. Loved how there were real pieces of fruit too! Matcha - A bit on the heavier side because it wasn't as refreshing as the fruit based ones. Mochi balls went well with this! I would recommend to skip out on the condensed milk as it was already sweet on its own. Highly recommend and would come back!
