14 Vital Breakfast and Brunch Destinations in Eugene, Oregon

"The latest project from Mikey Lawrence (formerly Black Wolf Supper Club and Buck Buck cart) puts a twist on his greatest hits including fried chicken and biscuits. During brunch on the Oakshire Brewing covered patio, food cart customers can feast on selections like the Egg Drop sandwich — which crams what’s essentially an entire omelet between slices of thick-cut brioche and American cheese — or spicy biscuits and gravy with a choice of classic or mushroom gravy." - Brenna Houck

Google
Hot Honey in Eugene really hit the spot—definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in the area and hungry. I ordered the Meech Breakfast Sandwich and their Eggs Benedict. The Meech came with a fried egg, cheese, juicy fried chicken thigh, thick-cut bacon, and a creamy sriracha mayo. It was packed and super satisfying—don’t let the picture fool you, this sandwich is huge and looks even bigger in person. Their take on the Eggs Benedict was also great—fried chicken on waffles, topped with syrup and hollandaise sauce. It was a really tasty spin on the classic, and honestly had more flavor than a lot of traditional versions I’ve had. Also super filling. Both dishes were solid, flavorful, and left me full. Definitely will be coming back!

Tried a new beer . We both loved the I P A with the red covered bridge and M B O ~ LOGO‼️ Lots of food trucks too. So you can eat practically anything you feel like having. Plenty of seating. Parking across the street. Good times ❣️

Google
Great beer, although a bit ipa heavy. The food trucks are off the hook. Our go to stop in our new home. After being here a few months this place has become our go to place. Happy hour all day on Monday's ya all.

Google
What a great spot!! Great draft beer, non-alcoholic options, plenty of parking, food trucks with burgers, tacos, pizza, hot honey chicken sandwiches, Indian etc. & tons of vegan & vegetarian options! ✅♿️ wheelchair accessible

Google
One of our favorite spots to get a bite and have a beer. Great ones on tap and always fun food carts so everyone is happy. Warm in the winter with all the heaters and nice in the summer. We love that we can bring our dogs year round! Great trivia too and we can grab a deck of cards or the cribbage board or uno and have a quick game any night of the week!

Google
Good place to get a 5 gallon keg filled. Watershed IPA 5 gallon fill is $62. What a great deal Friendliest staff ever! Super informative and helpful in every way. You guys rock!

Google
Love the beer, food trucks are great. Great place overall with kind staff and bustling energy. A local favorite for sure. They also host local musical talent on occasion and it seems like a great place for a larger group.

Google
Candice Love deserves at LEAST a $10 raise! What a magnificent experience. I told her once what I enjoy in a beer and she gave us many recommendations that we enjoyed SO much. Give this woman a raise!

Yelp
Oh, the Oakshire has so many things for so many people. Lots of seating, both indoor and out. Making this location, both child and dog friendly. Many many interesting and very good food trucks. Your meat eaters and your vegetarians will all be happy. Totally wide, decent variety of beer, wine, and other beverages available to please almost any kind of drinker. Regular trivia nights and other events along with crayons, games, etc. etc. this place is basically one stop shopping for the whole family.

Yelp
I really like this spot, been here a few times over the years and it's always been a good experience. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, the staff are friendly and efficient. It's a nice place to have mellow drinks and food with friends, and also seems family-friendly. I appreciate that they always have a wide variety of beers on tap, and I generally like their beers despite not being a big beer drinker. They have indoor seating in addition to a huge, covered, heated outdoor tent, which was cozy even though it was a cold and rainy day. And their food truck selection is awesome: they have at least 4 different trucks open on any given day/time. I got a flight of the seasonal Ill-Tempered Gnome on nitro, Visit Victoria (a Canadian lager), Peppermint Bark Imperial Stout, and the Overcast Café: Gingerbread Latte. With the exception of the peppermint stout (too thick and sweet for my taste), I enjoyed all the beers I tried, the Gnome and Victoria were my favorites.

Yelp
Such a fun spot! They have a rotating assortment of food trucks. I ate at Thai (so good) and the rest of the family ate at the burger spot that also had Mac & cheese. Excellent beer at this location too! The amber ale was delicious.

Yelp
This is a staple stop when you are in the Whitaker area. Nice outdoor and indoor seating, some of the best food carts in town, they offer different events and live music throughout the week. Family and pet friendly. The bar keeps are always in their toes and ready to serve you! One of my favorite pour houses in Eugene.
google avatar

Yelp
Easily my favorite brewery in Eugene. The Citrafonix IPA, Watershed IPA, and experimental beer varieties are worth coming on their own. The mix of food trucks, solid service, and low-key vibe make coming back fresh every time.
google avatar

Barbara B.

Yelp
On Mondays they have a special with $4 draft beer- large selection. Very pleasant to sit outdoors. Lots of food truck options for food. This would be a great place to meet up with friends.
google avatar

Yelp
We love Oakshire and their pet friendly patio! Always friendly! Great environment! Love our Neighborhood!

Yelp
Not worthy. Food from their carts are pricy and not good. After Eugene marathon, a group of us went there. Some of us tried to order burgers and others tried other food. They asked us to wait for more than one hour for a simple burger. Very disappointed! Will never go again!

Yelp
I LOVE oakshire! One of my top 3 favorite breweries in town. In my opinion, they have the best variety of beer with some other options for non beer drinkers. They regularly experiment with various flavor profiles that keep you guessing...."how did they come up with that?!?" (In a good way). It is a locals brewery where you can find some of the best food trucks in the city. They are the neighborhood brewery that makes you feel part of the eclectic culture that is Eugene.

Yelp
What a great bunch of people! I've been a fan of this place (and the crew) for nearly a decade. They continue to 'up' their game. As brewpub offerings in the Whit have stumbled of late, Oakshire found a way to continue thriving, and the joint is jumping much of the time. Great food offering, too!
google avatar

Peter H.

Yelp
Oakshire Brewing has a rotating selection of ciders, pilsners and IPA's in a comfortable setting with indoor or outdoor seating. I had 3 different varieties and enjoyed them all. It's very easy to order and great place to meetup with friends and family over a pint or two.
google avatar

Jesse B.

Yelp
Well, I can't really speak to the food or service, as I only went in to buy some cans of their beer but, their beer is fantastic and the staff were very helpful when it came to figuring out which beers to try.
google avatar

Jenna O.

Yelp
Great beers and a wide selection of food trucks. We liked it so much for dinner the night we were in town, we went back for lunch to try something new the next day. Close to Amtrak

Yelp
Beloved Eugene brewery Oakshire has been a brewery I've wanted to try for quite a while. If memory serves I believe I've had their beer as guest taps at tap houses in which I enjoyed pretty well! Most recently Steve and I had the Reclaim to Fame. This was an IPA with a tropical and piney like flavor. It wasn't too bad but it didn't necessarily make a mark on me in the memorable category. Not sure why that was the case but I think exploring some of their other beer styles would be better for me.
google avatar

Corinne B.

Yelp
In my line of work, going to brewing houses is a common way to celebrate things at work. I am not a beer drinker, but I did try out of the non-alcoholic ginger beer and root beer. I wish that they had more options for non-alcoholic beverages. However, I really did like the choice of food trucks that they offered, and I really enjoyed the poutine! If I had to do this all over, I would definitely wanna split the poutine with a friend, pass on the ginger beer (it reminded me of drinking the pickled ginger that they offer in sushi dishes), and just stick to the root beer (a much better tasting choice then the ginger beer).

Yelp
Top tier place in Eugene. A ton of amazing food carts and the live music is always fun! Parking can be a bit of a pain. BEST WATER ON TAP IN EUGENE. I will die on that hill

Yelp
Oakshire is a great place to get together with friends. Friday nights they have live music which is a lot of fun (although the volume is always pretty loud, so it can be hard to hold a conversation). They've got a decent variety of beers on tap as well as a variety of non alcoholic options (root beer, kombucha, etc.) The food carts are great (LOVE Areki!), and make it nice for a group because you don't have to all agree on what to eat. They've also got board games and card games that you can borrow inside.

Yelp
Love their variety of IPAs and their setup for small groups and more. The atmosphere is rustic and inviting. Also, the number of food trucks on property, including our fav Little Elephant Thai, is spectacular. Order food, head inside, get your drink, and settle in for a lovely meal with a delicious IPA or cider or wine or whatever your wish is! They have a Black IPA which I recommend trying if you like dark and bitter. On your way out, grab a six pack or two!

Yelp
What a great spot. With a great selection of beers and multiple food trucks, there is something for everyone. The covered area is well put together and it does have a good sized indoor seating area. Had a soft pretzel which matched our beer selected well. Cheers.

Randy S.

Yelp
My wife, her friend and I visited this brewpub while we were visiting Eugene. We sat outside as it was a beautiful day. We ordered two craft beers and a craft root beer inside. They were very good. We ordered food from the food trucks parked outside. Multiple good options for food. Our friend recently moved to Eugene and she was able to bring her dog to the outside dining. Staff provided a water bowl for the dog. I highly recommend visiting Oakshire.

Yelp
This place is a must visit if you are in Eugene, Oregon. Sierra was our waitress and was absolutely fantastic taking care of me and my crazy family while we are in town. We actually came back the next day to see her cuz she was so good, along with the food and the beer and the atmosphere outside, this isn amazing place. I will definitely come visit every time I am in town. Thank you Sierra!!

Geri R.

Yelp
Love the beer and the food cart options are better than most. My only recommendation for improvement would be to have more food options on Wednesdays. It is difficult to keep track of what the food options are on any given day.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience! Oakshire is the very definition of community based brewhouse...high-quality beers with a knowledgeable & friendly staff. Check the website for live music, you won't be disappointed. I'm all in on Oakshire!
google avatar

Yelp
The milkshakes brings all the boys to the yard and they're like, "Yeah, but have you been to Oakshire brewery?!?" Y'all, the mouthfeel of these beers are out of this world. ESPECIALLY the THEME sours. My favorites include the blueberry, stone fruit bonanza, and rainbow sherbet.
google avatar

Roger M.

Yelp
Fresh hop IPA very bitter better bite wayI like. I'll be back! Wife went west coast style IPA. She'll be back! Food trucks on site. You like a microbrew, this place has 29 taps! Indoor / outdoor seating! Out!

Yelp
Oakshire is the perfect brewhouse for true Eugene flavor. It's the perfect place to visit with friends, colleagues, or a Tinder date. Along with the stellar options on tap, I always enjoy the art at the pub whether it be the art on the wall or the musicians brought in to create the chill vibe for you and your date(s).

Yelp
I go here so often that I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it yet. The best thing about this place is the huge outdoor patio with long tables, which is precisely how beer should be consumed, in my opinion. The outdoor area is heated in cold weather, shaded under a tent, and they put out misters in heat waves. Lots of interesting beers to choose from. A friend got the smoothie beer once (an unfiltered sour of some kind loaded with fruit pulp) and I'm intrigued. I'm a fan of the cucumber sour in summer. Several food trucks available. DOP is the automatic standout on Thursdays (it's some of the best food in Eugene period), but the BBQ one is also quite good, if pricey. BBQ jackfruit with mac & cheese is a winning combination. Most of the other food trucks look less inspiring for vegetarians, but should try them before making a definitive statement.

Yelp
Stopped by last week to take advantage of Oakshire's large, covid-friendly patio. It was a sunny day, so it was busy and we had to wait about 20 minutes to get seated (no sharing tables with strangers like ye' old days!). Beer line was a bit slow and it was hard to hear when ordering between the masks, plexiglass, other chatter, etc. but it is what it is right now. :) I don't typically drink beer so don't have much to say on the beer front (hubby would like some even higher IBU options though). But, the atmosphere is perfect pub patio and it's fun that they have different food trucks come through every day, which we took advantage of this time. (Pizzeria DOP is legit)

Yelp
Oakshire has a beautiful tasting room with both inside and outside tables. On a sunshiny, warm day, pick a table outside to enjoy a taster or a pint of your favorite. Selection is awesome and something for every beer drinkers delight. Staff is friendly and the lines move fast. This is a place not to miss if you are in the area. Exceptional beer, fun tasting room, good company. Keep up the great work!
google avatar

Yelp
Really enjoyed the cider at this location, really refreshing on a hot day. Liked that there were lots of food trucks to choose from. The outdoor seating area is great! Super fun place.

Yelp
Came here to try the smoothie beers and loved them. The prickly pear is by far my favorite, followed by the banana pancakes, then the caramel apple. The prickly pear's taste is pretty on par with its description. The banana pancakes, on the other hand, is a bit different. You don't really get the maple syrup taste and there's a sort of tangy-ness that lingers after the initial banana hit. The caramel apple doesn't have the same smoothie texture that the banana and prickly pear have, but it's still delicious. It's like taking a sip of fall.

Yelp
Great beer and service! Just popped in for beer to go (and a glass!) since we were on the road heading to our hotel. Will go back next time we are in town

Yelp
I always make it a point to check out a few breweries in the cities I venture to. So this visit to Eugene was no different! I made my way to Oakshire Brewing Public House to kick-off a little Eugene brew-venture! SPACE/ATMOSPHERE: Large open space with big roll up doors, tons of community seating, local art on display, and a very subtle soundtrack playing Oakshire Brewing Public House is a great place to get together with friends for a few cold brews over a rousing games of Uno. There's even some local art on the wall (I believe for sale) too! There's a small parking lot on the north west corner of Madison and 2nd. BEERTENDERS: Aside from placing my order, we didn't interact much. She seemed to know the regulars and a couple sitting at the bar must've been friends of hers - she was very focused on them. BREWS: IPAs are very popular in the Pacific North West from my understanding. So it's easy to understand why a third of their taps would be dedicated to those hoppy delights. I personally am more of a pale ale, stout, porter, and sour fan - basically anything but IPAs (though they are growing on me). So during my visit I opted to sip on Pineapple Mango Smoothie (hazy pale ale) and a taster of C.R.E.A.M. (imperial maple coffee stout). Both were quite good! The Pineapple Mango Smoothie would make a great summer beer. While C.R.E.A.M. was def heavier and more of a dessert or winter brew. EATS: Oakshire Public House does not appear to have a kitchen of it's own. However, it does have a small patio space with a dedicated area for various food trucks to set up shop! During my visit Navarro's Latin Creole Kitchen was parked out front and serving up a variety flautas, tortas, and the like with a little creole flair! Oakshire Brewing Public House was a great way to start my Eugene brew-venture. I'm sure that I'll be back on future visits! Cheers!

Yelp
Spacious outdoor seating with several food trucks to pick from. Plus, lots of drink choices - beers, ciders, and other.

Yelp
We were visiting Jefe's high school friend for a couple days during our yearly Oregon Odyssey, and had originally planned to go to Hop Valley, but it was closed, so we walked a few more blocks and were so glad we did! We randomly wandered in on Trivia Night! We were meeting his new lady friend for the first time, which could've been semi-awkward (I'm still pretty tight with his ex), but instead we all bonded over music/geography/pop culture queries! I had a yummy apricot cider, and the beer drinkers seemed happy with their beverages... I deducted one star bc the food trucks (Southern & Jamaican) had very limited offerings that were mediocre. Overall we would definitely return, just probably eat beforehand.

Yelp
We love oakshire! Come here day or night and we always take our out of town friends here. Our dog loves coming here too!

Yelp
Good beer, great outdoor spot with covered seating. Food truck with delicious Hawaiian Kaluha pulled pork on their property. Delicious & generous portions.
google avatar

Ilona S.

Yelp
Wonderful outdoor seating under a LARGE overhead canopy. So, covered from sun and rain. I think the music is just a bit too loud, piped in thru the speakers under the canopy. First, you get your drinks inside the brewery: good amount of choices for beers and some kombucha's available. Not many non-alcoholic drinks for the under-21 crowd like my teenager though. Then, choose you meal/snacks from any of the food carts around. From Japanese to burgers to Indian Fusion (my favorite by far is Arekie food cart). Don't forget that the food carts are both North AND south of the entrance of the public brewery. I also really like their cart "pinch of salt" for their excellent "desserts" and marvelous macarons. I though parking was going to be an issue but there is a rather spacious lot across the street specifically for patrons of the Oakshire Public House. Well done!!! Now, if we could only turn down that volume of the music a notch during lunchtime, it would be perfect
google avatar

Yelp
Oakshire is just a staple in the Whiteaker area for some good beer. One of the best patios and a very open atmosphere. They always have a nice selection of beers on tap. They also offer wine and soda. It's a great place to get together with friends. They have a really nice offering of food carts. They also have plenty of events that circulate every week, my favorite being trivia night.
google avatar

Elena D.

Yelp
We've tried to go to Oakshire a couple times but it was always too slammed for our group. Finally tried it on a Saturday night in February and it wasn't too busy. It has a lot of outdoor seating so I can understand it being more popular for nice days. I tried the raspberry sour and my husband had one of their IPAs. I really enjoyed the sour and I'm not a big beer or sour drinker. Food trucks are the only food options but there seems to be a lot of variety. We tried the BBQ truck, I can't recall the name tight now,and I got the waffle fries covered with beans, Mac n cheese, and two kinds of meat (scraped off the slaw, not a fan of slaws). Amazing!! Ambience was nice inside, lots of seating, some communal tables. Staff was nice. Lighting was soft but not so low that it was too dark to see. Oddly there were a surprising number of kids there when we came in.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
My favorite brewery on our brewery tour!! They had many options but I would still say most of them were IPA's. I don't usually love IPA's but I really enjoyed the smoothie and the Dino! They also always have a couple of food trucks outside and we got the waffle fries which were AMAZING!! My entire group agreed they were the best fries they've had! There's lots of space inside and there was even a live band that was really good!
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I really enjoy going to Oakshire. It's clean, the people are friendly, live music on certain nights, the variety of beer is solid and it tastes good. They have rotating food trucks and I've enjoyed all 3 that I've tasted while there. So why not 5 stars? It all comes down to accessibility. We have a family member in a wheelchair and we pretty much always go out together. When the weather is nice there is ample seating at picnic tables outside. However, when the weather moves us inside, we are very limited by seating options. Most of the tables are high tops which seat him below us. Talking down on a person isn't cool. It feels weird. The regular height tables are actually UP a STEP. So, not really wheelchair friendly especially if it's a motorized chair. So, I'm giving an overall 4 stars which is still quite good, but until it's equally good for everyone I'll be hanging onto that last star.
google avatar

Beerboy M.

Yelp
A million times better since pivoting during covid. Food carts with a good variety of food. Consistently good beers with wider variety. Taplist online. More people around. Only ding is they should have links to the food cart websites on the website.
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
Great beer, friendly staff. Tons of space inside and out. Just wish there were more food cart options or the existing carts were open more/had better hours.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
We love Oakshire! It's a great neighborhood spot. Drinks are great, food carts are yummy, and they have ample, all weather, outdoor seating. What more could you ask for?
google avatar

Mike C.

Yelp
A bunch of friends and I came by one evening during a roadtrip and this place was a refuge after a long day of driving. The beer options were through the roof and the food vendors in the back yard we're supplying the most flavorful foods from poké to burgers. Wish we could've stayed longer as the night went on but it was getting busy and it was taking too long to get a drink.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Oakshire is hands down one of the best breweries in Oregon, their creativity coupled with their willingness to take chances with flavors is unmatched. They have worked hard during the pandemic and continue to do so to ensure customer that want their beer can get it. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and safe, so when in Eugene this is a must stop.

Alexandria S.

Yelp
Best place to grab a delicious beer in town! Great atmosphere and great service Bonus points: they give back to the community!

Yelp
Came to Oakshire Brewing Public House on Sunday evening. The outside was extremely busy because of the nice day! We walked up to the order here area which is helpful and ordered some beverages. I got a sour beer they had on tap which was very good. We then sat outside with a group of 2 that was already sitting there and asked if we could share. I wish they had a sign saying sharing is caring because the two people seemed very hesitant. They are picnic tables though! Share people!!!!! Anyways the beer was tasty, there was a food truck on site but we did not eat there because we were not hungry yet. I did a six pack to go of their cucumber sour. The cucumber sour is a tasty treat! I will go there again with my family next time I am in Eugene.
