Yelp
For as long as I can remember, eating at Ocha was like a tradition in our family. Every time we came to Vegas, our first meal was always Ocha. It's nostalgic, and the food hasn't changed since. Our favorites are the jerky, papaya salad and don't forget the sticky rice! The jerky has a nice sweet and savory balance, a little bit of sticky rice with the roasted sauce It comes with. Thats the perfect bite! You honestly can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I've had the crying tiger, pad kana moo krob, the boat noodles, the Tom yum, the pad see eww. Everything is always good.

Yelp
My friends and I recently celebrated a birthday at a Thai restaurant. We had made a reservation, but we didn't even need it. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They gave us ample time to go through the menu and make a decision. We ordered a bottle of sake and Thai milk tea for drinks. The Thai milk tea was the perfect blend of sweetness, and the sake was smooth and delicious. For appetizers, we ordered chicken skewers, which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. For our main course, we ordered Orange Chicken, Beef Pad See Ew, Papaya Salad, and Pad Thai. All of the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and tasted good. The portions were generous, and the presentation was also on point. Although the front of the restaurant and the bar looked nice, the back of the restaurant could have used some updating. However, it didn't affect our experience, as the food and service made up for it. As a special gesture, the staff even played a happy birthday song and gave us a free scoop of ice cream. It was a nice touch and made the evening even more memorable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was great. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. Was recommended by a Vegas local.

Yelp
Stopped by during the week. The parking lot is dark, and I would recommend lighting up the area more due to the location. We walked in and waited by the host stand because it was roped (blocked) off. Someone greeted us, and we took our seats. There's a stage and it looks like they have Karaoke. Food: Pork Jerky Tofu Panang Tom Yum Soup The soup was very strong with the lemon grass flavor. A small order of the soup is HUGE. The Panang was ok. The pork jerky was probably the best dish. Great flavor. I asked for vinegar to dip the meat in. The dipping sauce it came with was nasty. Overall, service & food was ok.

Katelyn A.

Yelp
Love the prawn tom youm soup my go to place for a hang over cure. Lao papaya also good

Alexander V.

Yelp
Been awhile since I've been here. Getting the jerky :) wife always likes the Tom yum with the prawns.

Jovy S.

Yelp
Haven't been here awhile. Food is authentic and amazingly flavorful. Service was acceptable. I did feel a little rushed in ordering even though was give a couple minutes to look at menu. But overall service was good. For picky people like me. Try to take your time in choosing. I got the pad Thai. Tom yak. And drunken noodle. Ambiance very oldies like...cozy. Good for groups.

Olivia N.

Yelp
Oh gosh we had a party and we order about these items. Only 2 items are good. So disappointed maybe other days the food are good but not today. Aweful taste...couldn't eat them. Salty and tasteless more like Chinese food than Thai food

Mira F.

Yelp
I'm baffled by the reviews of this place, it's so rundown and very dirty, the booths are torn and the tables wobbly. I went to wash my hands, the bathroom was so disgusting, looked more like a gas station bathroom than a restaurant. The food was just overcooked mush. I'm starting to think the reviews are made up.

Jose C.

Yelp
Service was amazing beautiful ambiance , the service was amazing door was opened for us and can't wait to try the food .

Yelp
LOVE this restaurant for takeout orders! I only have 30-minutes for lunch, and I am elated that I can order ahead online. Luckily the drive is only 6-minutes one way from my office. My favorite item is Pad Woon Sen, which is stirred fried green bean thread (clear noodle) with choice of meat & vegetables. I have had the tofu PWS, as well as chicken PWS. The dish has always been phenomenal. The spices & flavors are perfect with al dente noodles, along with fresh ingredients. The portion size is generous, so I literally get two days of lunch w/ one purchase! The Pad Woon Sen is not the only good deal from their extensive menu, the fish cake appetizer also comes with a great portion. The other item I've tried was the Tom Jued soup - pork & tofu (veggies as well) soup in clear broth. I love how the broth is not overly salty, since I have had similar soup from other Thai restaurants that were way too salty. I so look forward to trying more items next time. The Asian lady that works behind the counter is very amicable too. The restaurant is on the smaller scale, but it does have multiple tables w/ flat-screen TV for dine-in customers to enjoy.

Erik L.

Yelp
Delicious food and amazing service. We were served really fast at midnight . Would definitely come back here again.

Linda S.

Yelp
Tum yum soup was probably the best thing we ordered that night. Papaya was salty, needed more lime juice and sugar to counter it. Not a fan of the lao sausage. Pad thai noodles were soggy. I've been here before in the past and it used to be the spot for lao food when I'm in town. Sadly, I don't know what happened.

Jenny N.

Yelp
Thai food here is authentic and the portion is huge. Each dish could easily feed two people so be mindful of your orders. There's free thai tea upon check in. The pad Thai is pretty good. I like that it's not too salty. However, the chicken slices are hard to bite. The drunken noodles are delicious. You can customize the spicy level and my friend got level 7 and it was fire. I forget Thai chili is next level spicy. The noodle texture is good and they give a nice amount of chicken and vegetables. The Tom kha soup is tangy and quite refreshing. They give a lot of shrimp. I like that it comes out in pot of flame. It's our first time experiencing that so it's fun to eat. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is the unpleasant service. The female and male staff took turns serving our table but they both showed an unwelcoming demeanor. They made us verify the Yelp check-ins multiple times and kept staring at our table as they talk between themselves. They also didn't refill our drinks and forgot to provide napkin after we reminded them.

Eric L.

Yelp
Wow the food is sooooo good. Amazing service. And it's apparently the best Thai food in Vegas. Karaoke, feels like family. The green rice. Fire

Marivic G.

Yelp
Love when I make the right choice once again at this DTLV establishment! Tonight was the ginger chicken with the freshest ginger flavor and perfectly cooked vegetable medley of white onions, carrots, green onions, mushrooms. This also came with a cup of egg drop soup and a deep friend vegetable spring roll

Machiko N.

Yelp
Crying tiger is amazing! I also highly recommend the wonton soup with bbq pork. The soup is large enough to share. The drunken noodle has a great basil taste too

Janet C.

Yelp
Great food!! Would recommend coming here. The fried shrimp, papaya salad, Panang curry was a hit.

Kim W.

Yelp
I wish I could have gotten a refund from Door Dash which I will not use anymore due to the many restaurants around Las Vegas that do not cook fresh food daily. I was given the worst mushy drunken noodles I have ever tasted. You could tell it was from the day before, and they reused the noodle. The War won ton soup The wontons tasted weird as if they too were old. I really wanted Thai food this day and got a bunch of old mush. Not much flavor either. If I could give a 0 rating I would. On there website they have great reviews. They must cook the food fresh for when patron come into the store, and save there re-0used food for Door Dash. Do not go here for any reason!!!!

Paul I.

Yelp
I've been coming here for 30 years and it has changed through the years. It has most totally changed since I was here last year. I like that they now have a dinner special for the Thai Chinese options and I had the ginger chicken and it tasted fine. I used to come once a year, but I think I'm ready to explore the other Thai restaurants in the Vegas area when I come to town. Nothing special or or bad, and it does not have the hustle and bustle like before where there is a bunch of Thai customers Eating in there with a bar that closes in the wee hours of the morning.

MaiKha L.

Yelp
They take reservation, which is convenient. And that's helpful especially for the holidays crowds.

Destinee G.

Yelp
Came here because me & my friends were looking for an after hours bar and I was really surprised that this place was open til 5am. Crazy! They were having a comedy show when we walked in so the place was pretty crowded. Good vibes and good energy. The bartenders were fast and the drinks were great! Definitely will come back when the restaurant is open. But if you're looking for a good after hour spot you should check this place out.

Alexandria L.

Yelp
Great food yummy. Def a good spot open late. If you're out and craving some Thai try this spot

Jimmy T.

Yelp
Every time I come to Vegas, I have to stop by this place. It's been a tradition since when I went with my parents. Still remember when it was a small hole in the wall and now it's upgraded to a bigger space. The food is the best on the strip in my opinion. Also don't forget to check in on Yelp to get yourself a free Thai tea. My go to dishes are Thai fried rice and Pad See Eww. But everything on the menu is made perfect and taste so good! Gotta also try the different curry dishes too! The flavor is superb! So if you're in the Vegas area, come here. You won't regret it!

Sian S.

Yelp
a little pricey tbh, but an extensive menu. everything was good except for the rad na, which was unfortunately objectively terrible. but the som tum, pad thai, boat soup, & other standard dishes were great. also were nice enough to include a birthday dish for our friend who we went to celebrate!

Marli A.

Yelp
Servers seem meh. They don't want to honor yelp coupon. They said steamed rice was complimentary with main dish, which was a lie they charged us. If that were the case we would've ordered main rice dish. We had to keep asking for refills since they never came by even when there was only one other couple there. Really weird vibe. A shame because we've been coming here for decades when it use to get packed and we like the food but yeesh no wonder its so empty now.

Haj N.

Yelp
I ordered Panang Curry, Chicken Basil, Pad Thai. They were not bad. I would prefer Panang Curry at some other places that put more veggies in it. The one I had here did not have any veggies in it. One big minus is that they add 4% credit/debit card charges on any amount.

Crystal H.

Yelp
Really good, solid Thai food. We ordered to go. My family went to pick up the foods. But they said the lady wasn't friendly and was like annoyed of them. We needed bowls and utenstils for us to eat at the brewery nearby. They had no bowls for the tom yum soups we ordered and she didn't want to give us utensils for 7 people in our group. What's up with her attitude?! How else do they expect us to eat? But aside from the customer service, the food was good. They are on the spicier side. We got most items with the 5 spicy level. The 8 level was really spice. Even the green sauce that came with the beef jerky and the raw shrimps were very spicy. Just beware. It's Thai spicy. It was tough for me to eat the spicy items. Only indoor dining. Items we ordered: seafood tom yum soup green curry with tofu red curry with tofu veggie pad thai thai style frie drice with pork beef jerky raw shrimp in spicy sauce Thai papaya salad

Alyssa Anne M.

Yelp
Big servings, great value! Food is authentic Thai and it was definitely a hearty dinner. We had the deep fried pompano and Hawaiian fried rice. Would recommend! Note; they have an additional service charge for credit card/debit card!

Anne T.

Yelp
20% gratuity is automatically added without notice for our party of 4. We normally see some sort of notice about automatic tip for parties of 6 or more. This is the first for us. We normally tip 20% anyway so it was fine, just don't like the way they add tip without a heads up. Service was ok. Here are what we ordered: Fried catfish with red chillies sauce: 2/5. It was too salty. Boat noodles: 4/5, decent taste, big portion. Pad see ew: 4/5. I like it how it is not too oily. Chicken tom yum soup: 5/5. Our favorite dish. It's very flavorful, not too sour. Overall, the food and service are not bad. We won't drive out of our way for Ocha, but won't mind to stop by again trying other dishes if we are in the area.

Anela U.

Yelp
The food is still really good and we always have lots leftover to take home. The appearance of the restaurant itself is deteriorated with tears in the booth benches and cracks in the floor. On our last visit I noticed something weird on the receipt and wondered if the charges are even legal. I noticed a sign when we walked in that said they charge an extra 4% if you pay by card and not cash. A lot of other businesses are doing the same but I've never seen a rate as high as 4%. We decided to stay despite the unwelcoming warning. When our check was presented at the end of our meal, the 4% increase was already reflected pre-tax assuming we would pay by card. At the bottom of the receipt it showed the lower bill if we were to pay by cash. The problem with this is, the state tax is enforced on the additional 4% prices so even if we paid with cash, we'd be paying tax on the higher price of the food. Sounds like a scam to me. I'll need to be craving their food pretty bad to give them my money and business again.

Jimmy M.

Yelp
Shit was good !!!! Recommend this place highly. I got here at around 2am. Great after hour meal.

Hope V.

Yelp
When walking into this restaurant you may not want to give it a chance. It is older and some of the furniture is pretty worn. But the atmosphere is friendly and the servers obviously want to make you happy. And the food....it is so good! They level the spice which is nice. We went with the Mint Chicken, chicken Fried rice and Pad See Eww. It was really enough for four people! This is one of those places where I would say, don't judge a book by its cover. It may not be the prettiest place, but what matters the most is good food and atmosphere.

Steven M.

Yelp
it's a good spot to try right off the strip Quicky service No wait times to be seated

Odrie P.

Yelp
Great food portion and taste. Service was fast and servers were nice and very attentive. The place itself is a good space for a good amount of people.

victoria c.

Yelp
Trying to feed an entire er crew. Have of us ordered the pad see ew and everyone was happy. I personally ordered the pad see ew with veggie and that was a delight. The vegetable was cooked to perfection, the noodles were not mushy, and the sauce was evenly distributed. It was definitely a satisfying order.

Sean T.

Yelp
Went with co-workers for lunch. Nice casual, laid Back feel. Was not a wait and the food was pretty good. To be fair, the location had a karoke set up. This place might be grand time on weekend for an outing on the vegas strip but not truly the strip.

Jacob R.

Yelp
I came here after the Haunted Museum at the recommendation of a staffer there and service was quick and the food was good! Nothing out of the ordinary, service and prices were awesome.

Jen C.

Yelp
I ordered this on Uber Eats and loved that they placed foil inside their containers and it kept the food hot until I was able to eat it. They were also doing a promo on Thai tea which I love for BOGO free which I love. I ordered the egg rolls app and they were crunch my but not overly oily and came with a side of the sweet and sour sauce that takes them to the next level. I ordered Drunken noodles with tofu at spice level 2 because I've had experiences where the spice level was way higher than the number indicated. It was flavorful but not really spicy at all and chock full of tofu in a plentiful portion.

Jason F.

Yelp
Ocha Thai brings big flavors and attentive service to the south end of the famous Strip. The menu is huge, so you can stick with American friendly fare feature in this review, or you can try their authentic seafood fire pots. The lunch special menu served until 3 gives you a chance to sample popular dishes like the pad Thai w chicken. The heat scale runs 1-10, and a 7 was perfect for those who enjoy a kick without the regret of unrelenting fire. Bonus: they have a tray of options running from pickled jalapeno to chili flakes to Sriracha to the mud of mordor for the freaky fans The Thai beef jerky is thick and juicy and not at all dehydrated. Instead, it's deliciously marinated in an Asian soy base and charred to perfection. The servers are excellent and very friendly. 10/10 also available on door dash etc

Autumn Sky B.

Yelp
Authentic Thai food a few minutes off the strip. Staff are still wearing masks which we appreciated & they had the front half of the restaurant closed off so there was a short wait. The free Thai iced tea with check in was nice. $3 for an instant coffee. Servers were polite but never refilled water. Red curry ($15.50) was good - a lot thicker than expected. Shrimp Tom Ka ($25) was loved by one of us & the other didn't care for it. Bathrooms could definitely use a good scrubbing - floors, walls, sinks, etc. Probably wouldn't come here again but don't regret coming.

Jesse L.

Yelp
We've been to many Thai restaurants in Vegas. First time here though. Recently heard about this place from a good friend and we decided to try it out. Conveniently located on Las Vegas blvd and plenty of parking. A lot of seating inside at table and the bar. Bee was our server and she was very pleasant. We got fried tofu, chicken skewers, Chicken curry (level 10) and Papaya salad (level 5). We also enjoyed a couple beers and a couple Thai teas. Everything was great and the prices are fair too. Also, if you do a review you get a free Thai tea. I was going to do a review anyway, but the free tea is a great addition. We will definitely be back soon...

Kevin W.

Yelp
I love the food here . the people so friendly . My favorite is the pad Thai . The food is fresh

Asile V.

Yelp
Ordered through UberEats & food was delicious! We got Vegetable chow mein, chicken chow mein & wontons. Level 5 & 8. 8 had a very good kick would definitely order again.

Tara G.

Yelp
The veggie Pho was really good. I'll definitely order it again. I had it delivered via Uber eats.

Yelp
Haven't been back here in years. Covid has changed a lot. Decided to come back and visit to eat here cause I remembered it was good. Returning this time might not make me return. The food has gone down a lot. But service was super awesome! Not sure it's because it was busy at all or that's just their service all year round. Ordered a lot of food. A lot. Got the family dinner which I think is reasonable and decent. Comes with egg rolls, soup, fried rice, and noodles. Dinner portion. This was a good deal. For $57 you can feed a family of you don't order anything else. Soup was kind of sour and because I didn't order spicy, it was very plain. Like lemon water. There were no kaffir leaves not lemongrass in my soup. Didn't seem too authentic. Fried rice was delicious! Love the flavor and taste of the fried rice. I might just come back for this dish. Noodles were meh... only got it for the kids. It is quite on the salty side. Crying tiger was rare although we ordered medium. Chef did not cut against grain and also in large pieces. It was like chewing a piece of rubber. Would not recommend this dish. Pad see ew was good. I like the charred taste. Flavor was on point. Would recommend. Just realized there was not a lot of eggs. They also have dinner specials that stars from 9-closing. I think it's a great deal. Comes with a side dish, white rice, and an egg roll. If you sign into Yelp, you can get a small Thai ice tea. If you leave a review, you upgrade to large size or get a soft drink. My daughter left a review and they still charged us for her drink. What I don't like about this restaurant is, we ordered so much food so when the dishes comes out, we just eat. They brought us the one wrong dish and we accidentally ate one piece. Called them over and told them we don't think we ordered this and told them we might have ate one piece from it. Left the dish on the side and they end up charging us for their mistake. In my opinion, it should be on the house. We ate a good over $250 bill and was still charge for a drink that was suppose to be complimentary and a plate we didn't order. My husband was upset. Said he will never return. So just check your bill and make sure they don't charge you for their mistakes.

Miriam G.

Yelp
We had a good time. My soup had a very tasty broth. Wish us had veggies. Felt a little less hardy than we hoped. My friend asked for something to be way more spicy then she should have. Otherwise I have full confidence it would have been really good.

Lili W.

Yelp
The food was great. Service are very kind. environment is very good!I'll come again next trip.

Sabrina C.

Yelp
Have been wanting to try this place out & it did not disappoint! My hubby got the beef salad & it had tons of meat!!! Literally the most meat we've ever seen in a salad. Best of all it was spicy! We also shared the tom kha shrimp soup & that had plenty of shrimp! Most places give you 6 shrimp lol They stay open late definitely recommend this place!!! We will definitely be returning!

Manas S.

Yelp
We came in very close to closing time and were apologetic however despite the late hour, they were very friendly and welcoming with their service.
