Quaint brewery with a chill vibe, serving up a rotating selection of craft beers, tasty thin-crust pizza, and family-friendly fun on the patio.
"This neighborhood brewery in Cherrywood has a separate outdoor seating area for families with a single entrance, so it’s easy to keep kids corralled. There are tons to play with. Older kids can enjoy the indoor arcade, while others play with its collection of toys, which include discs, a play house, and a big Jeep. The sour beer options are always a highlight, but Oddwood also offers wine, frozen drinks, soft drinks, and fare like wings and pizza. KG BBQ, the Egyption barbecue truck that’s earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand, is also on-site with sliced meats, bowls, and stuffed pitas. There’s online ordering for both KG BBQ and Oddwood food, but you’ll have to dine on-site (inside or outside) to enjoy the beer and toys." - Erin Russell
"The bar pies at Oddwood are exactly what you want accompanying your beer—extra-thin, crackly, and cheesy enough to be a dad joke. They’re on the smaller side, but with many toppings available, you can grab a couple of different options to pair with the many beers on draft (we like their IPAs and saisons). You can order pizza for takeout here, but this is one of the few spots where we’d recommend eating on-site—partially because the pizza is best piping hot, but also to enjoy their comfortable living room-like interior, with lots of wood, cozy lighting, and retro video games." - nicolai mccrary, raphael brion
"The brewery fires up fantastic personal-sized thin-crust pies with loads of toppings including meats (anchovies to Italian sausages), vegetables (broccoli to olives), and cheeses (vegan to ricotta). It’s got exactly the brewery meets pizza parlor vibe that makes for long, languid hang-outs, and includes covered outdoor tables. Oddwood also offers takeout — just place the order online." - Nadia Chaudhury
"Oddwood Brewing is home to KG BBQ, an Egyptian-Barbecue fusion spot that’s one of the best restaurants in the whole city. That alone makes it worth a visit. But you’ll also be able to get some excellent saisons, hoppy pale ales, and lagers that go just as well with that barbecue as they do with Oddwood’s small menu of the best bar pizza in Austin. The inside feels very homey, with lots of wood and cozy lighting, and even a room full of old video games to help you decompress a bit. " - nicolai mccrary
"On a quiet corner near Airport and Manor is Oddwood Brewing, a neighborhood brewery making excellent saisons, hoppy pale ales, and lagers. The inside feels very homey, with lots of wood and cozy lighting, and even a room full of old video games to help you decompress a bit. And if you need some food for soaking up a day’s worth of free booze, Oddwood makes a great bar pizza, but you can also find KG BBQ—a Central Texas-style barbecue spot with some Egyptian twists—parked on the pretty big patio that spills into the parking lot for when the weather is nice.
