The Best Gluten Free Restaurants In Philly

"At Okie Dokie Donuts near Passyunk Ave, you'll find creative flavors like orange cardamom, oolong ginger, and earl grey lemon, along with more familiar staples, like a cinnamon-y apple cider and german chocolate cake. They’re all soft, cakey, and most importantly, gluten-free (yes, every single one). You’ll almost always find crowds lining up on the weekends (especially on Sundays when they close early at 3pm), but it's worth the wait for a perfectly sweet pick-me-up. " - candis mclean

Google
Got half a dozen to try. Some were pretty good (the ube and lime raspberry), some were bad (chocolate), some were mid (honey cardamom and whatever the specialty berry cream one was). The only one that I think was genuinely great was the coffee cake. I feel kind of bad rating 3/5 because it's mostly that I didn't like the texture and you can very much taste that they're gluten free. If you're used to that, then they'd be good and I'd recommend it, but I'm not :( 25$ for 6 donuts that altogether were kinda mediocre is a bit much too. Storefront is very cute and the person running it was very friendly though.

Google
Delicious donuts with gluten free and vegan options. Our family loves this place and visited both times we went to Philly on our short vacation. This is the best gluten free vegan donuts we have tasted. The chocolate & Earl Gray flavors were amazing.😋. It is more of a cake like donut, but still has that donut chew. They are delicious for people with dietary restrictions & even SAD people.

B Gilbert

Google
Amazing gluten free donut and pastry option. Rise doughnuts made to order/hot, tasted similar to funnel cake. Quick takeout from street window. Ample street parking Saturday morning just might want to actually pay kiosk since PPA person was ticketing.

Google
Was there Saturday for the first and last time. Ordered French Fries and they were $5.25, when I got to work to eat them. There was like 12 French fries in the container. This is an absolute disgrace. I usually don't leave bad reviews with images but this one was absolutely deserving.

Google
You never really know whether you can trust five star reviews. Or I guess 4.6 stars in this case. But Okie Dokie donuts is awesome! We have three kids that have Celiac, but their mother and I am not. We all agreed that the donuts were very good. The Boston cream was very light, with outstanding filling. The Apple fritter was not too heavy, nor not too sweet. And the raised donuts were simply outstanding. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area. One thing to be aware of though, is that it's just window service off of the sidewalk. There is no space inside the business. Just take your donuts with you, and enjoy.

Google
BEST donut ever and it was gluten free! Salad was good too. It’s a small order and go place.

Gerald Gabriel

Google
Great GLUTEN FREE donuts! It is hard to find any sweet gluten free pastries that are not made with almond (or other tree nut) flour. These folks did exactly that in a dedicated gluten free facility and they are awesome at it! And they do it for really reasonable prices. It's a curbside, walkup order window. They had some display donuts in the window and the guy working was very helpful and friendly. Plus, he let us know that they are now able to ship their cake donuts! We had a couple raised donuts, a lemon glazed and a chocolate glazed that both had great texture and taste. The apple fritter was huge, a creme brulee special was a nicely filled treat, and their raspberry lime cake donut was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I don't intentionally eat vegan, but some of these were vegan and still tasted great too. I will absolutely be going back next time I'm in town and I will likely also be ordering some of these little halos of deliciousness to be shipped to me in Tennessee. Great work by the Okie Dokie Donuts team. Y'all really knocked these ones out of the park!

Elizabeth

Google
Okie Dokie Donuts is a little walk-up window with no seating, but don’t let the minimal setup fool you—the donuts are incredible. Every flavor we tried was fresh, creative, and clearly made with care, but the lemon donuts were the real standout: bright, zesty, and perfectly balanced. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during weekend hours. I definitely recommend ordering ahead online to skip the line and make sure you get what you want before they sell out.

Yelp
Okie Dokie is an exceptional business. While spending a significant amount of time in both Philadelphia and New York (and their metro areas) Okie Dokie is a unique place. From their sweet donuts to their savory selections like sandwiches, fried chicken and risotto/corn dog donuts- all are fantastic! I have been visiting Okie Dokie for 2 years, and with each passing month their flavors and quality have always left me wondering how something gluten free can taste so good. My personal favorites are the chipotle chicken sandwich, the rizz (pair of risotto donuts), lemon glazed donut, pumpkin cardi donut (9/22/24 Sunday special), apples & cream donut (10/13/24 Sunday special) and the go iggles donut (special for the kickoff to the 2024 Eagles season). The service at Okie Dokie is always fast and friendly. During my last visit the worker at the window apologized that my order of 6 donuts and a chipotle chicken sandwich would take 5-6 minutes to prepare (which is definitely fast by the standards of food service). Just recently Okie Dokie rolled out their East Coast delivery program. Just about any household on the east coast can have Okie Dokie donuts delivered to their door. Though, I always prefer visiting Okie Dokie in person and enjoying the best that South Philly has to offer at their freshest. Okie Dokie donuts also prioritizes community outreach and supporting other small businesses. During LGBTQ pride month in June Okie Dokie donuts donated proceeds from their Pride donut to the Attic Youth Center. Likewise during trans day of visibility Okie Dokie also donated proceeds from their Trans Visibility donut to the Attic Youth Center. When it comes to supporting other small businesses in Philly, Okie Dokie highlights other quality small businesses on their social media and even has product partnerships with Herman's Coffee and Hale & True Cider Co. Okie Dokie prioritizes catering to holidays and special cultural events around. Holidays such as, Christmas Eve, Purim, Rosh Hashanah, Chinese New Year, Mother's Day and many more are all honored with their own specialized donuts. If you eat gluten free (or just love donuts & treats) Okie Dokie is a MUST visit!

Yelp
If you're gluten free, this is a top choice if you're cravings donuts (or a few other things on their menu). Also serving coffee and drinks, and some fried chicken items. Donuts can be offered as vegan as well. Everything is made fresh when you order, so donuts are fried up warm and not sitting around. It's all window service so you just order there and then wait around until your order is called. Decent stream of people ordering or picking up in the morning. I ordered their seasonal special maple raspberry. Donut itself was a bit on the dry side and did not have enough jam filling spread inside to balance that out. It was still tasty. Next trip I would want to try one of their standard donuts as well. Thanks

Yelp
After a small bite of each of three donuts, my friend and I decided to throw them away. We're pretty frugal people, but what was the point? She thought the oil tasted like it was not dedicated to sweet donuts. I thought maybe the oil was old. I understand gluten-free donuts can be dense, but add to that the heavy unpleasant tasting layer of oil, the general lack of flavor and (of all unnecessary oversights) the absence of salt--and we aborted dessert.

Yelp
Amazing donuts and savory treats!! You would never know they are gluten free. Heaven for the celiacs who want a treat - not the usual gluten free food that is healthy and vegan. The apple cider donut is competitive with the cinnamon donut from federal donut which is truly impressive for a GF donut. Boston cream and the corn dog were also standouts.

Yelp
We made a day trip to philly to hunt down some Gluten free/dairy free spots and I believe we have hit the mother load. This place is so sinful with an assortment delicious goodies. Everything was house made on the spot. Okie Dokie Donuts started off as a fun side project in 2012 by Carol Ha. Everything is Gluten free/Nut Free/ Dairy free Vegan. It's a small cozy hole in the wall where you just walk up order at the window. We made 2 separate orders 1st order - Raspberry Lime cake cup [layers of fresh raspberries, cake doughnut, lime cream, raspberry jam and whipped cream] were not even a raspberry lover but it's damn gooood. - Popcorn chicken with tot sauce had huge pieces with the perfect seasoning, crispy and juicy. The tot sauce has a hint of citrus and spicy mayo which complements the chicken so well. 2nd order - 3 Boston cream doughnuts fresh out of the fryer - birthday cake doughnut [vanilla cake, strawberry milk glaze, rainbow sprinkles] - orange ricotta [orange ricotta cake, orange ricotta glaze, thyme sugar] - A fried chicken doughnut sandwich with spicy chipotle mayo. This was literally an OMG moment perfect combination of sweet and savory. The fried chicken was super tender, juicy and crunchy topped with their homemade sauce, zucchini slices, lettuce, onion and huge fried chicken in between their gluten free doughnut. Definitely coming back here again

Yelp
Impressive find. Gluten free donut shop window in South Philly that offers: Corndog donuts, fried chicken sandwiches, donut flavors including Creme Brule, Smore donuts. I started off with The Riz (risotto donut consisting of stewed tomatoes, basil, goat cheese and mozzarella, coated in donut breadcrumbs and deep fried, served with a cool, herby ranch sauce). This tasted like a gooey mozzarella stick and was terrific. Hot Diggity Dog - All beef Sabrett hot dog, deep fried and served on a toasted donut bun. This was fantastic and I typically remove the buns when eating hot dogs but the bun was spectacular. Highly recommend. Fried Chicken Chipotle Sandwich - three fried chicken strips sandwiched between a toasted raised donut, served with pepper Jack Cheese, arugula, red onion, pickles, and chipotle mayo. Sandwich was decent but on my next trip I will prob not get just because this place offers so many other unique and tasty options. Was my two hours round trip to South Philly worth it for Okie Dokie Donuts? For dam sure, and if you're in the area anyway for a ball game you should def plan a stop here. As always people SYOY!!

Yelp
My second time at Okie Dokie Donuts & I feel like I'm figuring it out: There's not a bad thing on the menu. I ordered the red bean special & my partner ordered a chocolate raised donut. The raised donuts are fried to order & are served piping hot. The red bean donut was phenomenal but I think I loved the hot donut even more. Something about a donut made to order is really special, & I think the flavors are enhanced by the heat! There was a line down the block on a Saturday, but it moved relatively quickly. Knowing that the donuts are fried to order also makes the wait totally understandable. I can't wait to come back & try some of their savory treats - Like the fried chicken sandwich. I'll report back!
google avatar

Yelp
Holy crap!!!! Delicious gluten free donuts! Nut free too!! This is a window where you order from a limited selection menu - some of the donuts they make as you wait!!!! We had the apple fritter , Boston cream, chocolate and pumpkin spice. Winner was pumpkin spice. If you are anywhere near this place - I highly recommend you go there and get a treat!

Yelp
I decided to give Okie Dokie Donut a try and went for the Apple Fritter and the Risotto Donut. Unfortunately, the Apple Fritter fell short with barely any apple and lacking flavor. I am someone spoiled by the West Coast style of doughnuts, this one didn't quite hit the mark. On the upside, the Risotto Donuts were a pleasant surprise. They had a nice texture and came with a tasty herby cream sauce that complemented them well. It's a cool concept, but overall, it was a mixed bag. If you're curious, give it a try, but manage your expectations.

Yelp
For all the hype it was given it definitely failed to live up to it. My partner and I were in town for a visit and figured we'd hit them up considering the they were getting praise on IG and the donuts looked good to the unassuming eyes. The person at the pickup window on (3/16/24) in the early afternoon was very weird to other partons one of which happened to be their fellow business neighbors, almost as though they were nervous. I found that to be sus given they're in a Black part of South Philly in between a Jamaican restaurant and a Barber shop. Just an observation so take that as you will. Anyways back to the food! So we brought a half dozen: 3 yeast donuts, 3 cake donuts along with 2 apple fritters. The yeast donuts were ok, not dry but not really moist, the maple was the only redeemable one of the bunch. The cake donuts were extremely dry and the texture was stodgy, which was the same for the apple fritters. Reminded me of the military rations my elder cousins described from his tour overseas. My partner is gluten free and was surprisingly disappointed. Only reason they're getting a one star is for the maple yeast. Sorry not sorry. We also got the donut bread pudding, will update this review later after we try it. Fingers crossed. Probably should've known when the Jamaican brothers came out the shop next door and gave me the "are you sure you wanna do that" head nod that this was a bad omen.

Yelp
I used to regularly visit Okie Dokie Donuts when I lived in South Philly. I miss it now that I live in Fishtown/NoLibs, especially because of all the fun flavors that I can't get here. Its colorful signage and convenient grab-and-go service stand out for sure. My favorite part about Okie Dokie is its rotating menu of specialty donuts like Mango Crème Brulee beside classics like Boston Crème. I'd recommend following them on Instagram to see what's there during the given week. Many of the options are gluten-free, which is a big thing that the shop prioritizes. I also love the specialty drinks they had for the summer like Thai Tea Lemonade. The cream-filled donuts are a little hit or miss for me because of how the cream seeps into the dough, but I've enjoyed every one of the other kinds of donuts I've had there. They have just the right amount of sweetness and moisture.

Yelp
Cute little walk up with some amazing donuts. Def recommend getting them hot and fresh! Delicious!

Yelp
Okie Dokie is a great little donut window with lots of options to accommodate people with various dietary concerns. I stopped by and got a vegan blueberry pancake donut, and it was super good! I miss cake-y donuts, so it was such a treat to find a delicious dense vegan donut with a yummy flavor. I would have liked to try other flavors as well... maybe next time I'm in Philly.

Yelp
Pretty good donuts. Not certain that they were very fresh however. The texture was a tiny bit off. Otherwise they tasted good

Yelp
I have to say, my hopes were high for this place but my experience was underwhelming. I tried the caramel coconut, and although tasty, it had minimal coconut flakes. Similarly, I tried the pumpkin cardamom and it had minimal pumpkin seeds. The spiced coffee cake, was surprisingly, my favorite. I'd like to give it a second try in the future. Parking: minimal street parking available Ordering: Okie Donut takes orders street side. You donut enter the shop to order.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
I have always been a fan of Okie dokie and promoted them to other GF family members however after my last few experiences I will not be returning. It's a lack of consistency for me. Sometimes the donuts are on point and hit that need that often isn't met in the GF community and other times it takes like the donut has been sitting out for a while. Time and again I have ordered and there has been an issue with my order. Even when I pick it up. Items missing, ordered fries and there are maybe 10-12 fries in there, and waiting over an hour for an order. Sometimes the employees have been understanding and apologize but today, nope. It's not worth the expense anymore. Good GF donuts exist elsewhere. Thanks for what you did do for a short time OD.

Yelp
it's such a cute stop! it's a walk up outdoor stand the staff are so nice and the donuts are delicious! I can never find good gluten free stuff but man philly does such a good job. these donuts are delicious and worth every penny. not pictured is the corn dog donut which is honestly such a great idea and it reminds me of being a kiddo and eating corn dogs. made me so happy! I like to stop after work and grab a donut sometimes. highly recommend especially if you're gluten free

Mary K.

Yelp
As a person who loves sweets and would literally eat icing off of a shoe, these doughnuts were the worst I've ever had in my life. I purchased a variety of flavors to bring to a party (embarrassed that I brought them tbh) and all were actually inedible. Extremely dense, lacking any sweetness or flavor, icing tasted like soap while the doughnut itself tasted like pencil shavings. The hype was real for these doughnuts (orange creamsicle, how yummy!) and completely fell flat. 8 doughnuts cost $38 and every single one was disgusting. Sorry for such a harsh review because the staff were nice however, please be aware of what to expect
google avatar

Courtney O.

Yelp
I have celiac & they are the best gluten free donuts I've ever eaten. if you're in the area & love a good donut you have to go to okie dokie!
google avatar

Kala H.

Yelp
Hands down the best (GF) donuts I've ever had. Yeast raised and fritters are a MUST. Service was awesome at 8 am on a Sunday morning. I'd come back to Philly just for these donuts!
google avatar

Kamaney C.

Yelp
I have non-celiacs and have to eat a gluten free diet so one of my co-workers who lives in South Philly discovered Okie Dokie Donuts and brought me 3 (an apple cinnamon, chocolate pepperment and a strawberry frosted)! When I say the donuts were delicious, they were DEEEEELICIOUS! I'm so happy to know that there is a place that is dedicated to serving those who do not consume gluten and a place to get some sweet treats!
google avatar

Peter D.

Yelp
OK, I had my doubts about this place, but I had driven by it so many times and finally my daughter wanted me to try it. The donuts are something different and I love the idea that they change up the flavors and give people a variety to choose from.they are extremely satisfying and I've never had anything like them before. They rifle anything I used to enjoy that I considered to be the best.
google avatar

Regina R.

Yelp
Best gluten free donuts ever! My son has Autism and is non verbal. He also has a gluten intolerance. He also LOVES donuts. We have tried others, but Okie Dokie seriously makes the best and freshest GF donuts ever. Always such nice people too. Thank you Okie Dokie!
google avatar

Joe B.

Yelp
Overpriced and Overrated. I decided to give this place a try after reading the glowing yelp reviews. Like the grossly overrated Federal Donuts, this place was a disappointment. I got 3 donuts and a fritter and it cost around $15. Talk about profit margin! Nothing about the donuts warranted the accolades or the high price. Beiler's Donuts in the Reading Terminal Market gives you a dozen for around $17, and they're way better. Sometimes all the funky flavor combinations like Okie Dokie or Federal have just don't translate into a great donut. It's just uniqueness for its own sake. Hipsters get all excited about exotic flavor combinations and write stellar yelp reviews, but the flashy flavors just didn't work for me.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
We love Okie Dokie so much! We detour to the stand whenever we are in the area, which sadly for us is, like, annually. Everything is delicious but getting a fresh raised GF donut is the rarest treat. Also don't miss out on the apple fritters. The people at the window are kind and charming and offer helpful guidance if you find yourself overwhelmed by your many options.
google avatar

Ann V.

Yelp
I've never been a fan of gluten free anything (too dry, tastes funny, too crumbly, etc) but Okie Dokie donuts are fantastic. I've had their pandan one, some apple spice one, and recently a blueberry one. They have all been delicious. I may still hate most gluten free shops but this one I definitely recommend. I even walk to Rally coffee shop blocks away to get their donuts and I don't even like walking. Hah
google avatar

michaela c.

Yelp
I've been here a few times, each time the man at the window is so kind and the donuts are great!

David C.

Yelp
The last time I was traveling through Philadelphia I got a Boston cream donut from this place. It was incredible. Three months later, I'm back in the city and decide to stop by to see if I'd enjoy it the same.. and I did. Without a doubt the best Boston cream I've ever had. The flavor is impeccable. Very friendly staff too!

Yelp
I love this place! I only recently found out about okie dokie when a friend with celiac mentioned this place. "Ok," I said, eyes rolling. "Which one of these is their gluten free donut? Probably the most boring and bland one right?" (This was before I actually saw the flavors listed.) And then she explained, as my mouth hung open. "All of them. The whole place is gluten free. Every flavor. Some are even vegan." I was speechless, which is not a common occurrence with me so this was a big deal. Before okie dokie, I had not had a donut in probably 8 or more years. During that time I probably had a few other gross pieces of sugar that  were circular and maybe even had a hole in the middle. But a donut? None of those things were donuts. Okie dokie donuts, actually makes donuts. Donuts that taste really really damn good. And I'm not just saying that because I don't know what a donut really even is anymore. I'm saying that because this place is RIDICULOUSLY DELICIOUS even if you're not gluten free. They also sell something called donut pudding, which if you don't know what that is, just imagine custard and donuts and hot and sweet all rolled up together. Yes, it's as beautiful as you'd imagine. Don't walk. RUN your butt over to okie dokie donuts because they sell out EVERY SINGLE DAY of the week. You will not be disappointed. I promise you.

Yelp
Okie Dokie has a brick & mortar! Yay! They are now located in a tiny shop but currently operating out of a window, safe for Covid on Synder Ave on the west side of Broad. They are open for takeout & pre-order Thurs-Sunday! These GF/vegan (option) donuts are delicious, light, very fresh, super flavorful, and one would never know they were GF or vegan, well, except for the price tag. They are a bit steep but it's so hard to find good GF pastry. They run $3 each/ $30 dozen. Check their social media though, they have rainy day 2/1 specials. We indulged in 4 to try between the fam...chocolate peppermint, orange cardamom, gingerbread, and butterscotch vanilla. The only one that didn't absolutely hit home for us was the butterscotch. It's not that it wasn't good, just compared to the others, it wasn't as stellar. That gingerbread was by far my favorite! The orange complete with a candied slice was so delicious and the vegan peppermint with thick chocolate & peppermint drizzle was so decadent. These are definitely a home run and I dare anyone to try says these taste GF or vegan! There's absolutely a need for this in the market! Welcome to South Philly! Best of luck!

Ambur B.

Yelp
Okie Dokie is the best! I frequent this lovely place bi-weekly all the way from Delaware ( sometimes weekly if I'm feeling cray)! The donut flavors and varied monthly menu is so amazing. As a GF person, it feel tough sometimes when you can't get items that fit your diet. Not only are the sweet treats from Okie amazing but the savory menu is another treat and pays homage to our GF bellies in the best way! Love you guys, your service and your staff!
google avatar

Stevie B.

Yelp
Some of the best donuts I've ever had and they are gluten free so I don't suffer in agony from indulging! Service was quick and friendly. I tried some sort of iced basil tea that was perfection. I'm grateful I don't live closer because I don't have the budget to fund that kinda habit.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
I appreciate that Okie Dokie created a doughnut that is accessible to our GF friends, but man, these doughnuts are just not good if you don't have a dietary restriction or gluten intolerance. This is the second time I have gotten a mixed half dozen and thought every single doughnut tasted almost the same without any discernible flavors between them. The doughnut itself is the same regardless of flavor and is way too dense/oily. The cake is bland, the icings and toppings all taste the same, I just don't get it. I'm a huge fan of Dottie's, Beiler's, even Federal Donuts are better than these. They are nicely decorated and the staff are friendly, but I won't be trying Okie Dokie again, sadly.
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
Taste Better than any donut i have ever had even tho it's gf sooo good. fast service wait was only 2-3 mins. the outside of the store really gave me a look into philly. super pretty outside.

Yelp
I think the texture of these donuts is pretty great-- BUT the flavors leave a lot to be desired. I've had Okie Dokie donuts many times, and every time I wonder who is tasting (and approving) them in the development process!? I want to love you, Okie Dokie, but when you say a donut tastes like orange and cardamom-- it should taste like orange and cardamom. Or chocolate, or pumpkin, or espresso, etc, etc. As a gf home baker for over a decade, I know for a fact that gf doesn't mean lacking flavor. You've got the textures down, so what's the hold up with the flavors? Like lots of reviewers, most of these donuts sound amazing but end up all tasting the same. I know you can do it Okie Dokie, I believe in you with all my heart. Come thru on the flavors baby!!!

La L.

Yelp
Sorry to say, not delicious. Door dashed them to my hotel. 2 Boston cream, tres leche, orange, strawberry, maple and lemon. $37? I don't mind paying for delicious but I ate less than 1 donut total in tasting all 6 varieties. Boston cream was the most delicious and yet never wanted more than a quarter of it.

sara l.

Yelp
Okie Dokie is my favorite gluten free institution in Philly! I've gotten delivery and walked up to the cute donut window, I've had their donut cakes, their yeasted donuts, traditional donuts, the corn dog donut...a lot of special donuts and I love them all so much! They also sell camp okie dokie t shirts and they are very soft! Carol and Bill and team are friendly and their coffee is great too. The gluten free and vegan donuts are even good (wizardry!). And their Gift cards make a great gift for gluten free friends!
google avatar

Cymone G.

Yelp
Great donut shop and great for me that it's so close. You have to try the maple glaze donut! They cook it when you order so it's about a 5 minute wait but it's so good. I also like that they are constantly trying new donut flavors while keeping other staples always available. It really doesn't taste gluten-free, don't know how they do it.
google avatar

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I love this donut place. Talk about it all the time. Visit every time I'm in Philly. (September and November donuts in the pictures.) Today my door dash driver ghosted me with my order, and OkieDokie remade my order for me. They are WONDERFUL humans and wonderful makers of gluten free donuts that taste real. I've tried gf donuts all over the country. #2 is Do Rite in Chicago. Okie Dokie is hands down #1. Thank you for being amazing!

Yelp
Best gluten free donuts I've had. And the made to order powdered sugar is delicious. This place will always be on my list to visit when in Philly!

Yelp
This place is amazing. Was visiting from out of town and had only heard rave reviews from someone who comes every week for fritter fridays! Did not disappoint. As someone who has celiac it's so nice to be able to eat baked goods and not worry about cross contamination. And most importantly, they're delicious too!! Tried the blueberry fritter and mango sticky rice donut. AMAZING.

Yelp
We only got two donuts: Cereal Milk and Lemon Buttermilk. I believe they have one donut base with differing glazes. Thankfully that base is very good they are cake donuts, but they are NOT dry. They are dense and sweet almost reminiscent of pound cake in a way. The glazes add the much needed flavor, which they did. Check their website or social media for current flavors. I'd opt for a glaze or flavor that packs a punch and order less than you might think because they are heavy!

Yelp
There is no way to even describe my pure joy at having a real, gluten-free, yeast donut. I've tried various donuts during my past decade of being gluten free, but this is the first (and only) one I've ever had that was a true, yeast, risen donut. I ignored my veganism for this donut, and I would do it again. The apple cider donut was as good as any other apple cider cake donut, but the powdered sugar yeast donut was *chef's kiss.* I can't wait to go back to Philadelphia and eat more of these!

Yelp
SO GOOD. The perfect treat. I'm telling all my friends up and down the coast to get these when they're in town, whether they're on gluten-free diets or not. I'll preorder so I can bring a box to gatherings and be a hero - there's vegan options, too. Love to support woman-owned businesses.

Yelp
Many people have dietary restrictions so it's nice to see a GF and Vegan donut option for those in that group. I love donuts and just had to try this newer addition to the city. However, some have said that these are indistinguishable from traditional donuts and that just isn't the case. These cake donuts are a bit dense with a slight bite, but not in a good way. I like the fact that they have interesting rotating flavors, but the Chocolate, Vietnamese Coffee, and Strawberry Elderflower were all just ok. Definitely give it a try if you're GF/Vegan, I wouldn't rush over if you aren't.

Yelp
You ever have to spit out a donut? I never thought I would have to, but here I am. I want everyone thats reading this to know that they are GLUTEN FREE and taste TERRIBLE. I appreciate that they are trying to make donuts for people with gluten intolerances, but golly gee, these donuts are just so bad. They had flavors like pineapple, ginger, chocolate mint, and pistachio(green?). What happened to glazed, chocolate or vanilla? I really do not understand how you can make a donut taste this bad. They were also expensive! Unless you have serious Celiac's disease, I would not go here. Honestly, it might be better to eat a regular donut and deal with the fallout than to subject yourself to these things they call "donuts".

Yelp
Gluten free donuts that aren't dense as a brick and dry?? Didn't know they existed outside if Maine and Boston but here we are!! First off, the little stand they have going on Snyder ave is so cute. It's in a brick and mortar store front but they built a stand that fits right in the doorway that makes it extremely covid safe and friendly. So creative and their donuts are on display too! Now onto the main attraction - These donuts are SO good. I'm not gluten free but my boyfriend is so believe when I say that these donuts are just as good (if not better) than "regular" donuts. L The GF donuts I've had before around this tri-state area have basically just been dense muffins baked into a donut shape. These actually had a texture of a regular donuts. The texture was so perfect for a cake donut - crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Can't say enough good things about these donuts. Only thing is wish I got there sooner to try the early grey and honey and cream . Just means I have to go back
