"Come hungry to this Boston newcomer, which offers all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue right by Symphony Hall. With a grill at the center of the table, roll up your sleeves and grill slivers of beef bulgogi, beef short ribs, and slabs of pork belly. And sure, other marinated meats, seafood, and vegetables, too (particularly the tasty shishito peppers). You don’t have to play chef for the whole meal, with plenty of side dishes like fried dumplings and tofu and kimchi stews to round out the meal." - Nathan Tavares, Valerie Li Stack, Terrence Doyle

Food is good. Definitely decent selection of meats for an all you can eat. Lunch special is probably the best deal. Lots of banchan which is nice. The grill doesn’t get that hot though so it is difficult to cook things through fast enough, especially since they do try to push you out pretty quickly. The ice cream was decent. Decent service. Overall, definitely a new go to.

Google
Their food is good! We really liked the pancakes and the meat also. Good variety of meat and sides. The banchan isn’t out of this world but pretty solid. Deserves a high rating. They also serve alcohol so make sure to bring your ID and try out the chestnut makgoli. Their servers are very nice, helpful and accommodating Parking is very hard. We had to park far and walk there but after a full meal I was fine with walking that far!

A great AYCE Korean BBQ place in Boston finally!! Service was overall great and while the meat selections are a bit more limiting compared to some places like Sura, for $39.99 per person, value wise I say it's very hard to beat! While the majority of the meats and side dishes we got were great, the marinated meats were a bit interesting as it tasted like they used a marinade that had a strong black bean flavor (like what you would find in Jajangmyeon) instead of a typically more soy based marinade. It wasn't bad per se but it was definitely unexpected. Overall the highlights for the side dishes was the Tofu stew and egg custard. Seafood scallion pancake was decent. The spicy rice cake was decent (the sauce was good though the rice cakes themselves were meh). The Takoyaki was nothing special. For the meats, we enjoyed the ribeye, thin sliced beef brisket and pork belly. The marinated beef short rib was okay but the marinade was a bit too different for our tastes. Also I'd skip the sausage unless you like plain hot dogs! Overall we were quite pleased with our meal. The ambiance was decent although it was pretty dang dark when we were eating (it was around 1pm!). I'm hoping they'll turn the lights up more next time.

I’m a foodie from Japan who loves eating out, and this is a great place! The all-you-can-eat bbq made me feel so satisfied, and everything was authentic. The tables are comfortable and spacious, making it easy to relax. The staff was attentive. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Google
Overall just an ok experience with some important shortfalls given the price point. Food: The meat quality was pretty average but the banchan and marinated meats were disappointing. The banchan dishes were just kind of sad looking and felt very low quality. While the fresh meats were good, all the marinated meats tasted like they had sat in the marinade for too long and got too salty and overly soft. Again not the experience you’d expect for the cost. Service: The service was speedy and attentive so no complaints there. Atmosphere: Atmosphere was very casual so it’s maybe not intimidating but it also lacks any coziness as a result.

Great Korean bbq all you can eat in town. We love the egg custard, marinated short ribs, marinated beef bulgogi and pork belly, they were very flavorful. Their side dishes were also very good. The restaurant is spacious, clean and the staffs were friendly. The only feedback I have is to have more ventilation system.

The atmosphere was very nice and service was great. Our server was Eddy, and he was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our time there. The food was great too with everything being fresh and tasty. We were given a big room as we had a party of nine, comfy and Eddy also helped with grilling the food. Highly recommended and ice cream is yummyyyyyy. If you’re stopping by then you should definitely come and try this place out!

Yelp
Great service and generous banchan for the price. All you can eat lunch was only 22.99

Yelp
The food is fine. Service is TERRIBLE. A girl name Jane( She said her name is Jane when I asked ) asked me whether we were ready to pay the bill 30 mins after we came in while we were still eating. I nodded out of instinct cause I was too surprised to react. Then she put the bills on my table. I finally said we were not ready to pay. Then she came for at least THREE times asking us whether we were ready to pay. This made me felt really uncomfortable and awkward. The last time she asked us to pay, I said OK. Then while we were finishing up, she came again asking whether she can clean it up. I nodded again out of instinct and felt really awkward and uncomfortable. She was targeting us. She treated other customers OK but now us Chinese. Probably a rxxcist. I still paid with 15 percent tips. For people who's considering coming here-Please don't.

Yelp
As what I believe is the only AYCE KBBQ spot in Boston proper, I thought this spot was pretty solid. Right next to Northeastern and close to Suffolk/Wentworth, the vibe felt very young and modern. Ventilation was also a but questionable, but hopefully they'll smooth that out as I know it's a pretty new spot. We had a larger party and called ahead for our reservation so we got one of the rooms in the back. I honestly think this spot was only 4 stars due to how we had our own room - I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much if we were in the main area. Service was very solid. They were super attentive and came in at appropriate points for additional orders, water refills, and just delivering food in general as well as replacing grills. The meat was decent quality, nothing amazing, but for AYCE it was good. The sides were also nice - I enjoyed the pancakes and steamed egg soup. There was also ice cream at the end that they serve in small cups. Overall, we had a great experience and wouldn't mind coming back again. The food, service, and ambiance were very solid. Thanks, Omi!

Yelp
**Omi Korean Grill Review - Boston** Located at 267 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115, Omi Korean Grill offers an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ experience that's a real steal at $40 in Boston. The setup is ideal for large groups with giant booths and a grill at the center of each table, making for a fun and interactive dining experience. Appetizers: Started off strong with delicious seaweed salad, tasty chicken wings, and scrumptious scallion pancakes. The tteokbokki, although not very spicy, was a hit among rice cake lovers. Meat Selection: The beef cuts are a highlight here. The marinated beef bulgogi and beef short ribs were my personal favorites, offering rich flavors that are hard to resist. Fair Warning: Be prepared to leave with a delightful 'meat' aroma and possibly some meat sweats, but trust me, it's all worth it! Ratings: - Food: Solid 8/10 - Ambiance: 5/10 - Affordability: 8/10 PSA: Remember, it's all-you-can-eat but no takeout boxes allowed. Make sure to savor every bite while you're there! If you're in Boston and craving Korean BBQ, Omi Korean Grill is a must-visit! You really can't go wrong here.

Yelp
I was excited that there is a new AYCE kbbq in town and went in with high expectations. I was disappointed unfortunately. The staff is friendly and service is fast. The grill is powerful but there is too little ventilation. The meat, however, is just mediocre. I understand this is AYCE but the servings are just too small. The marinated meat is also what you can get in asian grocery stores. We also had kimchi jjigae and steamed egg for appetizers and there were decent. I feel like the menu can be more extensive for AYCE menu and they only also had tiny ice cream for dessert. It might be also because it is fairly new but there was a wait for early Wednesday dinner. All in all, it wasn't that remarkable place for AYCE bbq. -4.5/10

Yelp
Had to try Omi since it's the new ayce kbbq place in Boston, and we all know Boston does not have much ayce kbbq places. We made a reservation for 7 in advance. We sat in a booth specifically for 7 since there was a mall that protruded (which is fine) and we got side dishes and water. For food, we only got the beef and the pork belly's, and the appetizers. I will say that the beef itself was pretty good quality. The boneless short ribs and the brisket was good. They ran out of intestines so we didn't get to try that. The pork belly was also good. I wouldn't get the bulgogi as it didn't taste good and the texture was super off. For apps we got everything. The chicken wings and the spicy rice cakes were not what we expected, the gyoza, takoyaki, and shumai were solid (definitely bought frozen and fried), but the egg and the kimchi jigae were really good. The service was great, everyone was super attentive and helpful. With the amount of things we requested they were super nice. If you do get sat in a booth with two grills, i will say it is gonna be a pain to get the inside grill changed as people would have to move out of the booth so the server can go in and change it. Overall, it's a solid place to try once, and they are still super new. However, it didn't really feel like an ayce kbbq place to me. I would try this again if they added more stuff or maybe added like a DIY sauce/side dish bar. I will say again that the staff is super nice and attentive to our group.

Yelp
SOOO yum! We came around 6:30PM for a party of 3 on Sunday and were seated immediately, tables definitely started to fill up an hour later. You get a 2 hour limit for $40 AYCE KBBQ. I loved all the banchan that came on the side and the menu itself had a good amount of options for the price! Loved the tofu soup, pork belly, and ice cream at the end. There's a good amount of tables, and private rooms in the back for special occasions.

Yelp
I was pretty excited to try this place, as its probably the closest AYCE Korean BBQ near me. This place is conveniently located in the NU/Copley area, with plenty of street (meter) parking. It looks pretty roomy inside with wide tables and benches, and a tall ceiling. I'll get right to it. This place was hot (temperature wise). We went on Saturday at 6pm and it was mid 80's and muggy/humid out. This place either had no air conditioning on, or it just couldn't keep up. It's weird as every long while, I'd feel cool air coming on (relief!) but most of the time it was off. Coupled with the hot BBQ, it was too unbearable to eat comfortably. I paid over $300 (including $50+ tip) and it was the worse experience. I'm in my t-shirt with my sleeves rolled up because it was THAT hot in there. They did have several industrial drying fans blowing at full blast, but it did not help. If I had to do it all over again, I'd take my money to HMart and buy a bunch of meat and just cook it at home. The only dessert option is ice cream cups. As for the food experience, we were a party of 6. The first thing you get is the bachan (side dishes). You can tell these are premade and not tailored to the size of your group. It was barely enough for 1, let alone a party of 6. We did ask for more and they were happy to bring some. As for the meats, they come out quickly after you fill out the paper to indicate what you want. The portions are small, so ask for extras. Our favorite was the spicy octopus and thinly sliced beef. The meat was okay. There were several cuts or pieces of meat that we could not chew and had to spit out. The appetizer dishes we ordered were not that good (spicy rice cakes, chicken wings, siu mais, dumplings etc). The staff was quick to help you switch out the hot plates. Speaking of which, every table had just 1 single hot plate. Its pretty small for the size of the table. The people who sit in the middle of the table are regulated to handle it/cook/serve etc. I feel the table could easily accommodate 2 of them, or one larger grill. There is NO VENT! You will come out smelling like kBBQ for sure...don't wear anything you care about. This place gives you 3 set sauces (mala flakes, some type of oil, and ssamjang), either you like it or you don't...but thats it. There is no sauce station or anything like that. The staff were fine, they did their job of bringing out food. Thats about all. Price wise, each person is $39.99. Canned soda is $2.50 each. 6 people with 20% tip came out to $311.30. 2 of our party were teens who ate nothing. The adults were so uncomfortable by the lack of air conditioning that it was hard to eat our money's worth too. If you've read this far, take my advice: 1. Go to HMart and buy meat to cook yourself (you'll have money leftover, or just use the savings to buy an electric grill as well) 2. Just take your party to KTown BBQ (also AYCE) in Saugus on Rt1. Similar pricing, much better food quality and overall experience, free parking and some of the best service ever. BTW, you will *LOVE* their chicken wings there (a side dish).

Yelp
Couldn't make reservation for 3, so we had to wait 40 mins even on a weekday dinner. Despite the crowd, they changed the plates pretty often which I appreciate and even helped us cooked the meat in the beginning. Waitress was also extremely nice. I think my experience here was better than the only other Kbbq spot in Boston. I would had like more selections, but I think the squid, octopus, pork belly, short ribs and ribeye were good and they gave us a good selection of sides. Their appetizers were pretty good for an AYCE. Egg was yummy but the bottom was burnt which was unfortunate. Takoyaki and tofu stew were my favorite. If you're driving, it's easier to find parking somewhere that's 8-10mins walk away.

Hallie L.

Yelp
A pricy but decent place to get ayce kbbq. It comes out to around 40 dollars a person and the menu features pork, seafood, chicken, and beef. Included in the ayce are side dishes which was really enjoyable as often prepared dishes would be extra. Not many restaurants include takoyaki as part of their ayce experience either. The takoyaki was mediocre but the main point of going to kbbq is not for the side dishes! All the meat was pretty good quality and our server was friendly and showed us the best way to cook our meat. All seats are booth seats which was a little detail that I liked a lot!

Jimmy N.

Yelp
Was super excited when I heard there was another AYCE Korean bbq opening up in Massachusetts. Luckily they were taking reservations early and I was able to reserve for two people. A few days after opening, they changed it minimum 6 to reserve a table. First impression walking in, poor ventilation... it was pretty smokey... you definitely will leave smelling like kbbq lol Love the service. We were fortunate to have a lovely waitress. Definitely forgot her name but she had glasses. She was very attentive and made sure our orders were correct. The grill itself is electric. Cooks pretty well so that's a plus. I see a lot of comments regarding getting the grill changed. They get super busy. It doesn't hurt to ask them to change it because they will instantly. Food - my favorite was the marinated Galbi. Very flavorful, great quality. Serving size definitely is served minimum and not by how much is in your party. It's probably a good thing to limit wasteful food. Also my favorites were the pork belly, beef brisket, steamed egg, and takoyaki (AYCE is crazy I had 2-3 orders lol). The whole menu was decent but my two complaints was both the bulgogi and the seafood scallion pancake... definitely something off with the meat. It was both just too mushy and not flavorful. The pancake was way too thick and had too much bell peppers in it. Felt like I was eating a thick slice of pizza. Overall, for $40 per person, I definitely think it's worth it. Not sure if it's better than Sura in Medford. Sura has a parking lot, Omi is only street parking. If you live in Boston, it's very hard to find parking around that area lol Tip - It gets super busy due to the location. You'll see a lot of college kids coming. So expect a wait if you don't have a reservation. No

Yelp
I had an amazing time here and will definitely be back. The food was incredible, especially considering the great prices. It's safe to say this is one of the best Korean BBQ spots I've been to. Coming from LA, where I've tried numerous places from K-town to Orange County, this place truly stands out. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and the ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Will be back next week !

Yelp
The food was wonderful and the service was amazing. The staff was very attentive. The vibes and the Ambiance were 10/10. Would recommend to a friend!

Yelp
Boston's Kbbq options are relatively limited, but I think this is the best AYCE spot in the area. The meat selections aren't super varied, but they have all the staples and they do them well. Most of us preferred the non marinated offerings, though they were all tasty. They also offer some solid side dishes - the egg custard, wings, scallion pancake and japchae were some of my favorites. I also really, really appreciate the variety of banchan - which to me, is the most critical part of Kbbq. I've been twice now and would go back when in the mood for some Kbbq!

Yelp
Omi is located perfectly near a few major campuses making it the prime spot for students. LOCATION: Street parking only but very conveniently located near T stops. The space itself may look small but it can hold quite a parties. They have 2 large rooms in the back that can hold fairly large groups. I recommend coming early or making resy if you are a group of 6+. Note that they do not accept resys for groups under 6. FOOD: As an AYCE spot, it offers a fairly decent amount of things but other AYCE spots have more variety. The meats are great and the some of the apps were delicious too - the steamed egg was my fav and my party liked the takoyaki! Plenty of side dishes classics too. SERVICE: Everyone from the hostess to the servers were great! They were quick to switch out the grills which was nice. We ordered a few rounds and it came out fast and accurate. VENTILATION: I had to make this a separate category as this seems like a topic that many other reviewers mentioned. The ventilation was not great at all unfortunately and the place got very smoky once the restaurant filled up. This also meant that the floors got a tad bit slippery because of poor ventilation so be careful! I hope they look into this issue for the sake of the diners and the staff. OVERALL: Not bad for $40pp and I was glad to try it out once.

Malina N.

Yelp
For $40 we were able to order such a variety of meats, appetizers, and vegetables for such value We loved wrapping the crispy pork belly in lettuce and especially liked the beef short rib! My favorite appetizers were the egg custard soup and the seafood scallion pancake There was no wait time at all for a table and requests for changing the grilling plates were very quick. Definitely would come back everytime I'm craving KBBQ!

Gabrielle K.

Yelp
AYCE spot alert! Boston' doesn't have many options so here's a new one that is a bang for the bunch. $40 for all you can eat???? I can't believe I'm saying this I can barely spent under that going to a restaurant anymore so this is crazy they are also getting their liquor license so alcohol will be added to mix! Let's gooo! It's a 10 minute walk from Hynes T stop so it isn't too crazy to get to. This was so random but the floors are very slippery but I wasn't sure why... maybe it's the oils but um the floor just seemed to be a little slip and slide but they also just opened so new floor tings maybe?? I was eating the meats and they were all seasoned pretty nicely where you didn't need to even add the spices or sauces. The Galbi short rib was DELICOUS-sooo. But it's one of my favorites and you can never go wrong with that taste. The staff was attentive in getting our food placed and replacing our grill for cooking when the meat started sticking on it.One of my favorites was the glass noodles which were perfect and delicious and didn't make you feel bad eating. I finished it off with those sealed ice creams that I would get in the cafeteria when I was a kid and I called it a day. I will be back again with a larger and hoping to enjoy the meats with some drinks this time around. Price $$ Food 8 Atmosphere 7 Service 7

Yelp
TLDR: great all you can eat Korean barbecue Came for lunch with two other people. We were seated fairly quickly and service was prompt. Ordering was done by making off what dishes we wanted on a paper menu. Immediately after ordering we were given another paper menu for round two. Portions were large and delicious. No round 2 was needed. Strong variety of meats and vegetables and traditional Korean sides. The ice cream is also excellent! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Omi Korean Grill is an ayce Korean bbq spot on Huntington Ave right by Northeastern. It opened last week and I was able to try it on their soft opening. The only other ayce kbbq in Boston area is Sura but the quality is pretty bad and it's expensive for what you're getting. This is $40 per person and they have a variety of appetizers, meats, and seafoods. I got the brisket, marinated bulgogi, boneless short rib, marinated short rib, pork belly, spicy pork, tofu stew, steamed egg, and rice. The first thing that was not great was that the tofu stew had seafood in it (imitation crab, mussels, squid) but was listed as tofu stew, and I did not like it as it was extremely fishy and also could be a serious problem for people with seafood allergies. The steamed egg was really good and fluffy as well as the rice. For the meats, the two that were my least favorite were probably the spicy pork bulgogi snd the marinated beef bulgogi because there was no marinated flavor. Spicy pork should be red with gochujang or some type of spice and it's the one in the photo with the onions. Not bad meat quality but no flavor. Next was the boneless short rib, since it was pretty good quality and thick cut but not my favorite. My favorites were the pork belly, galbi, and beef brisket. All were good quality and flavorful. I also got zucchini and mushroom which are my favorite bbq vegetables and I like how you can order individual vegetables instead of having to order a bunch. The banchan was decent but not fully traditional. Kimchi and then the yellow pickled radish, but it also came with seaweed salad and bamboo shoots. Dipping sauces were samjang and the dark sauce I couldn't figure out what it was but tasted more vinegary. The red chili powder is really good but I believe it's Chinese since I have only had it in Chinese food. For $40 I think the food quality was good and I would probably come back. The one issue I had was the grills not being replaced unless I asked, and with marinated meats they burn so quickly that the grill is covered in burnt charred marinade. The server was attentive, but as it was towards the end of the night seemed to be annoyed that we kept ordering more and annoyed changing our grill, so we didn't ask for the grill to be changed anymore. Then when we cooked new meat it would be covered in blackened stuff which not only tastes bad but isn't good for you to eat. One thing Omi could improve on is changing the grills but everything else was great. I recommend this place if you want ayce bbq to get your moneys worth as it is better than Sura, but for regular bbq there are better spots.

Yickhong L.

Yelp
Service was actually good but the selection wasn't as good as other places. They do have short rib and galbi which is good. Beef brisket and pork belly were good. It all depends on how you cook it since you cook it yourself. Their seafood pancake had bell peppers which I thought was weird. One of the marinated pork/beef dish was pretty bad though, we didn't finish it. They do swap out the grill when it gets burnt! The bottom of the steamed egg dish was very burnt so I would avoid eating that portion, but the rest of it was decent.

Joseph L.

Yelp
Was excited for a new ayce korean bbq, so I came here as soon as I heard of it. It was pretty busy on a saturday evening so we had to wait about 40 mins and although the store front looks small, it was pretty big inside with at least 10 tables and a couple or larger sitting areas. The staff was very friendly and was quick to answer our requests. The menu was a bit confusing as it does not list the quantity it comes out in, so we had to tell the staff how much we wanted when we ordered. Of all the meats we tried, the kalbi was the only one that had some good flavors. The rest were just bland. The glass noodle we ordered was so salty. The only way we ate it was to mix it with the bulgogi, which tasted like they forgot to season at all. The egg, the stews, and most of the sides they had were decent.

Lucy C.

Yelp
My husband loves Korean food and we'd seen an amazing promotional video of Omi on Instagram so we had high hopes for the food. However, the bbq meats were not high quality so we were disappointed. We will continue going out of Boston to Naksan when we are craving kbbq.

Kasey H.

Yelp
We had high hopes for this new AYCE Korean BBQ joint, but unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Perhaps it's because they just opened recently, but the service was lacking. We had to flag down staff to take our order and refill our side dishes, and we were brought the wrong items several times. The limited ventilation made it quite smoky inside. The meat quality was okay but not amazing, although the banchans and dipping sauces were unique. Surprisingly, our favorite was the fried chicken wings, which were incredibly crispy, juicy, and fresh. For $40, it was nice to try, but we probably won't be returning.

Dalia T.

Yelp
The food & service was good. I love how they had a self service station. You can grab your own side dishes and sauce which is really convenient and the marinade short ribs was delicious. I highly recommend

Emma F.

Yelp
Ken was our server and he was the sweetest guy, and had great service and recommendations. Everyone there was so helpful. The sauce station was stocked and fresh. The food quality was good for the price and 2 hour time limit. Banchan was above average, with a pretty large selection of proteins and veggies. I'd definitely go back and recommend to others for a fun casual dinner.

Yelp
An AYCE Korean BBQ experience on Huntington Ave that was not meant to be a BBQ establishment. The restaurant is long and has tables on the dies that go to the back with a small private room in the back. We arrived around 5:45 PM on a Saturday night and only had to wait a few minutes for a free table. The floor is very slippery due to all the grease that accumulates from the smoke of the grilling. They put on a grill and turned the heat on while we ordered from a small white sheet of paper. They have everything from appetizers such as siu mai and takoyaki to meat and seafood. They brought out ban chans including kimchi, lettuce, and a dish with 3 dipping sauces. There was no drink menu, but a small sign on the table telling you how long you should cook things for. As a party of 3, we ordered a bunch to fill our table including beef, pork, seafood, and vegetables. We were surprised that they didn't oil the grill, so we asked a waiter who came to use a spray oil can and then threw all of our pork on the grill when we never asked her to help. There is a time limit for 2 hours on AYCE, but a lot of the time is taken up by cooking the food. We finished our first and decided to get a few more items of ones we liked and hadn't tried yet as well as ice cream to finish off the meal. As we finished our second round of items, the manager came over to say our time limit was up. We were fine as we were just waiting for the bill, which ironically took forever as they were telling us our time was up, but didn't give us the check. We also never received our order of ice cream nor did they tell us if they were out of stock either. I enjoyed the ribeye and the pork belly the best. I would definitely pass on the seafood and be careful when cooking the vegetables since they burn quickly. We had to ask a few times for the servers to change our grill as things burned with no oil on them. We used the fat from the meat that released oil to help cook the vegetables. Overall, I would not recommend coming here due to the lack of ventilation and service as you would be better off finding another kbbq or jbbq place.

Yelp
2.5/5 we were so disappointed. knew the meat quality wasn't gonna be amazing because AYCE however, it was our least favorite ACYE kbbq experience. the short ribs and brisket were so chewy, pork belly didn't have a good fat to meat ratio (mostly fat), and bulgogi was so salty. Also, the brisket and pork belly were frozen... first time experiencing that at kbbq The banchan were surprisingly good. Although, the stews were lacking flavor. The service was great though. Staff was attentive with the grill change and water.

Yelp
39.99 AYCE not worth it, first and last time here. 2/4 of our party we said there's a peanut allergy so they moved us to another table so the allergen can be separated then went ahead and crossed out almost everything that can't be ordered if you have the allergy (eye roll) at that point there was barely anything to order. When we asked for gochujang sauce we got the "what is that?" ... then the oh we don't have anymore and brings gochugaru (Korean red flakes) instead. The seafood pancake has a nub or two of squid in each slice and mostly filled with onion and pepper. The ice cream that is included are hoodsie cups..

Yelp
Food (1/2): The food was ok. For an AYCE, their portions are rather small per batch, which makes it quite annoying and I would say wasteful of their grillpans (much more frequent exchanges). Their seafood pancake was way too doughy and "soggy"--not worth it. Condiments were alright. On the bright side, I think their selection of meat for a given AYCE set is quite decent. Service/wait-time/cleanliness (1/2): Service is great and wait-time is standard for a busy service of this kind. Cleanliness is so-so but the big points off for me is the lack of ventilation. Immediately after you go beyond the front-cashier, the smoke would cover the room. Sure, I enjoy the smell but my goodness does it make the room feel "low-quality". Price (0.5/1): For the price, I think it's decent, especially given its convenient location. However, if you're willing to travel further out of Boston, I think there are better KBBQs to be found.

Yelp
Restaurant started getting full at 6:15 pm. The front door was left open even though it was cold out; customer service could be much better. We got no direction from the waiter after receiving the raw, to-be-grilled food; not sure if it was because we are Asian (the caucasian couple next to us received way more attention than us). In past experiences at other kbb restaurants, a waiter would direct us what to do, etc. This place, I could tell that the grill was neither oiled or nonstick, so I had no idea what we were supposed to do after they dropped off the raw food. I had to proactively grab a waiter to get help after sitting there and doing nothing for at least five minutes. Also, the grill at the table we were placed had some sort of connection defect that the wait staff seemed to know of already. Every five minutes, our grill would lose power. This was extremely annoying throughout our time there, resulting in poorly cooked food, food that wasn't steaming hot, waits for the grill to heat back up, etc. I mean, what is the point of kbb if the food isn't hot when putting it in your mouth!? Waitstaff also decided to replace our grill when it was completely full of food. This was an issue because we had to wait for the new grill to heat back up to cook at the same temperature that our grill full of food was originally cooking at; again, resulting again in poorly cooked food. Overall an extremely poor experience. The most surprising thing is how at least five different waitstaff came when our grill was malfunctioning to fix it, only to have the blinking/disconnected light flash on and off again within the next five minutes. Everyone at the table was aggravated and unhappy with this and the service. The more I think about it right now, the more disappointing everything was. There was a real chance we ate undercooked food tonight because of the malfunctioning equipment; the biggest issue is that the staff seemed aware of it and decided to look the other way instead of doing something proper, like move us to a table where the grill was fully functional. Will update if we get food poisoned...

Yelp
shittiest place ive ever been in my life. the service was trash. entire time didnt change the grill and didnt give us thing we ordered. the food was also such bad quality definitely not what i paid for. then when i gave a little bit less tip than normal afterward the server confronted me and asked me why i didnt tip a lot?!?!?!! i usually write positively but this was probably the worst restaurant experience i've ever had. if you have a brain do not come here. i know it's the closest korean bbq to northeastern but i beg u to try something else. horrible. absolutely horrible.

Yelp
Was excited to visit this new open Korean restaurant. They have many kinds of meat which is very fresh. But always mistakes some of your orders. We were 2 ppl dinning in around lunch time and the lady wanted us to tip 18% and ROLLED HER EYES when we refused to tip number she wish for. This is how you got trained ??? We will NOT be returning and share our experience on other social media, too.

Yelp
I recently went with a friend, and we were extremely excited to try this new place out, especially since they are open until late. We were sat and side dishes were brought to the table, and everything was well. We were looking through the menu when our waiter walked over and just stood over the table staring at us. He didn't greet us, or even ask us what we were going to order. We handed over the sheet with the food we ordered and then he asked if we wanted to drink anything besides water that would be brought to the table shortly, the water never came. Our food came out quickly, it was okay, I've definitely had better. There was not much selection for the sauces. The waiter did not come by to ask if we needed anything else, or even when they came by to change the grill, they would just walk away after. We constantly had to wave them down even though the restaurant was basically empty. The ambiance is okay, not much going on but there are no vents so you will come out smelling very strongly of BBQ. Just an overall very underwhelming experience from what is advertised on their social media, especially from the wait staff.

Yelp
I want to start with, I'll never come here again. Bostons food has always been subpar compared to other places but this fits that bill unfortunately. Service was great honestly, we constantly had grill changes without needing to ask and the servers were very attentive to if someone wanted something or even debated wanting something (you know that awk your about to ask for something but the turn away? Usually they turn immediately because they noticed that face from the corner of their eye). But this is a restaurant sooo food. Appetizers were well OK. I can say with certainty they love their bell peppers.... It's in everything (glass noodles 60% of it and seafood pancake also majority). Drinks were well expected but the meats... disappointing. For a Korean bbq they didn't hav many marinated meats and surprisingly they provide little to no dipping sauces! The quality of meat was pretty ok but eating so much only salted meat was not appetizing at all.... My group ended up leaving without eating too much since everything was flavorless dry. Just imagine some meat with salt. That's basically it... the sauces was some chili powder, something else spicy, and some sort of vinegar. They do have rice even tho it's not on the menu! But honestly, for Boston area I'd drive to Sura

Yelp
The meat was dry, sauce was bland, they didn't have too much variety for ayce for 40$. Service was extra slow and we had to ask for the order which they forgot to put into the system twice. Deff not worth my coin.

Yelp
Great food options. Bbq meats are good quality and the servers are attentive. They change the stove pretty often

Yelp
Place was insanely good value at $40 a head. $385 after tax for nine adults. That's nuts for Boston. I can appreciate that you might find a little better quality meat elsewhere, but DEFINITELY not AYCE or with the same variety of choices. Everything we got was either pretty good or great (in particular the thick cut pork belly and marinated shortrib)! Bonus tip, some of the unmarinated meat selections that were just ok were improved greatly by asking for a little bit of salt and pepper to season with before grilling (i'm thinking specifically about the ribeye and boneless shortrib here) We just about got everything on the menu and were served everything we ordered promptly and professionally. The waitstaff were charismatic and on top of their game. My family is... a lot... in an AYCE environment and they did their jobs fantastically! Thanks so much for a great experience!

Yelp
Not good to go to if you have allergies. Staff did not know if their marinade had peanuts/nuts and refused to find out so I had to go with non-marinated meat. Service was okay and staff readily filled water and meat if needed. Place is also smoky and had little to no ventilation. Overall would not recommend coming here.

Tim S.

Yelp
Food is just ok. The meat quality is not very high. Marinated meats were gritty. Non marinated meats were fine but nothing special. Banchan were fine. Nothing stood out, but this place gets the job done. Mandatory AYCE, but reorder pickups were slow. The place looks nice but it gets very smoky. No overhead suction vents so be prepared for guests to get smoke directly in their faces, especially if you are near the door. I think they will cook the meats for you, but with the relatively low number of staff and amount of server attention we got, I think cooking it yourself is probably best. A bit pricey considering the relatively low variety and service. Nice no frills AYCE spot, but nothing crazy. Hope to see a la carte options in the future.

Yelp
By far the worst KBBQ I've ever had. Way overpriced for the quality of food. If they weren't going to season anything they needed more options on the menu that allow you to season the food. Still mad that I wasted $40+gas, parking, and time here. If 0 stars existed it would be here
