⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Experience at Ooh! Crabe! We visited Ooh! Crabe with friends after a strong recommendation, and wow—what an amazing choice. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. We ordered two King Boils, one with the Cajun sauce and one with the home sauce and both were bursting with flavor. The seafood was unbelievably fresh, with a generous selection of shrimp, mussels, lobster tail, sausage, corn, potatoes, and perfectly cooked white rice. The portions were abundant, and every bite was delicious. We also tried the Cajun fries on the side, and they were fantastic. The ambiance is great, the location is convenient, and there’s plenty of parking, which is always a bonus. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. Whether you’re nearby or coming from out of the way, Ooh! Crabe is absolutely worth the trip. We will definitely be back!

My bf and I shared the giant seafood boil at Ooh! Crabe and oh boy, it was SO good! We were the only ones at the restaurant as it was a weeknight so service was fast. Both host and server were so kind. The restaurant is also very clean and organized. Definitely recommend!

It is my first time to experience a seafood boil and I was not disappointed. It was really delicious! We got the 75$ seafood mix (for 2) alongside the fried calamari and shrimp and a fish and chips. I especially enjoyed their house special sauce in the seafood boil. Their fried food were also very good. It was light and crispy. Overall, it was a fun experience to eat on the table without any plates. Their food is good and have quite the selection. Depending on what you order, it may come a bit more expensive.

Just wow! Amazing amazing amazing. Everything was perfect. Fish and chips were so tasty! The fried shrimp was sooo good with the dipping sauce…. Seafood boil was everything that I expected. Cajun sauce was delicious. Everything was cooked perfect! Definitely will be back again and again to try more stuff on the menu! Well worth the drive!!!!!!! I’ve tried other places downtown and this has been the best!

We accidentally discovered this restaurant. The high Google reviews caught my attention, but the photos didn’t seem to justify the ratings—the food lacked that signature seafood boil appeal. Still, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my gut feeling was right; the place felt overrated, possibly due to inflated reviews. For context, I’ve enjoyed seafood boils in California, Hawaii, and Houston—some of the best places for this cuisine. Now in Montreal, I had low but realistic expectations for Ooh Crab, and it still disappointed. Upon entering, we were greeted by a host (likely the owner) who seemed disinterested, spending most of his time on his phone. You’re required to order, pay, and tip before receiving any service, which made the experience feel very transactional. As others have mentioned, no water is offered—you have to purchase bottled water. It seems they aim to avoid doing dishes since everything is disposable except for the cutlery, which I suppose is a smart move operationally. We ordered the Jumbo Mix for with rice and potatoes. Sensing it wouldn’t be enough, we added the fried calamari with shrimp, totaling nearly $100 before taxes and tip. The shrimp and rice were good, but the lobster tail was overcooked and had noticeably shrunk. The crab legs were small, frozen, and also overcooked. Clearly most of the seafood served were frozen. The only decent dish was the fried calamari and shrimp, which is hard to mess up. We tried to make the most of it, but I would pass on returning. At this price point, there are too many better options out there.

I just had my first experience eating with my family at Bagocrab. The food was amazing and our server Julia was awesome. Staff is very friendly and the service was super quick! If your in West Edmonton Mall you have to try this spot and by the way don't forget to wear your bib! It's gets fun messy 😂

Atmosphere was modern and clean. Good location, plenty of parking. Food: fish & chip was delicious - good price Shrimps were tasty - good price Calamari was a bit overcooked Customer service: we had to pay before receiving the food, which is very odd considering the fact we had to make reservations ahead of time and the fact you are serving lobster 🦞. Weird concept, in my humble opinion. We came to celebrate an occasion, thinking we would get table service...hence the reservation. Online, this resto requires a reservation...this sets a tone for both parties and what is to be expected. Good place for take-out or casual dinning-in.

The food was flavorful and well prepared, however the pricing was high relative to the portion size. In comparison with similar restaurants, the portion was significantly smaller. No complimentary water was provided at the table, and water had to be purchased separately. Additionally, no side dishes were included, while other restaurants typically offer sides, salads, or fried calamari. We also ordered calamari, which consisted mostly of mixed chips, with very little sauce. Overall, although the food quality and taste were good, the cost did not reflect the portion size or the overall experience. Compared to other restaurants, it did not offer good value for money, and therefore I would not recommend this restaurant.

OOh Crab is not upscale place. The person at counter who greeted us was friendly. You order at the counter and pay before you get your food. There is no table service . We order 1/2 lbs of shrimps plate and 1/2 lbs of mussel plate . The shrimps came with with corn which was swimming in lemon pepper sauce. The shrimps are not peeled. The1/2 lbs of mussels came with boiled potatoes and corn with the OOH Crab sauce. The Ooh Crab sauce is butter, cream and garlic. The shrimps were nice size and tasted good. The mussels were large and were fresh. Be prepared to wear gloves as it is messy. You can have your food with plates or just tossed on the table. It is not upscale restaurant but the food was good. We will go back to try some other seafood .

Food is absolutely delicious. I've been coming to place for a while now and it's never disappointed me. I always order to go so I'm not able to comment on the dinner in experience. My only wish is that they were located closer to me. You're missing out if you don't give this place a try.

not very good food. I would not go back. I wanted to like this place as the person who was working behind the counter was super friendl. Sadly, I was not impressed with the quality of the food. The calamari were tough and the batter, tasteless. The fried shrimp were ok. sampled the fish and chips, which unfortunately was not good. Not sure which whitefish they used but I didn't enjoy it and the batter was tasteles. Fries were nothing special. oh, and they don't have glasses for water; you have to purchase bottled water.
