A cozy spot located just outside an ice skating rink, this cafe roasts its own beans and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. The space features a mix of tables and a comfortable couch area, perfect for relaxing. The staff take great pride in crafting exceptional coffee drinks, and it shows. All the customers seemed at ease, enjoying their time. I even overheard someone at a nearby table say, "Ummm, delicious," and I couldn’t agree more—my mocha was both beautifully presented and absolutely delightful.

I compiled all the pictures that I’ve taken on the times that I have visited this coffee shop. It is absolutely divine. It’s better to go in the weekdays because on the weekend, specifically Saturday, it gets too busy. They don’t usually give you the hard cups on the weekend, even if you dine in. There is a young girl who makes my latte when she’s at work, and she is the best! The carrot cake is my favorite, super rich. Great place to visit.

Very good coffee and food. Fairly priced coffee for the area. Food is expensive but I enjoyed my salmon benedict. High quality beans. Lots of seating but it can get busy. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Google
The food was good, but the egg bacon sandwiches were really more like bacon-flavored egg sandwiches. They only gave us one slice of bacon each! Look at that sad sandwich in the image I posted. "Please, sir," it says, "may I have some more?" To be fair, you can have more, but it's $3.50 or something. I wish they'd have just called this an egg sandwich on the menu and charged more money for a real egg & bacon sandwich. I'd have paid it if I knew I was going to get so little bacon. It was actually pretty good when you managed to take a bite that had bacon in it.

When we walked in, the guy behind the counter didn’t give us the time of day and didn’t acknowledge us at all. That was a bad first impression. I guess he figured since it was an iPad ordering system that he didn’t need to say hello?? But we had some questions, so that was not helpful. Fortunately a different employee walked out a few minutes later and she was very helpful. I got the pumpkin spice latte which was delicious, and similar in taste to Starbucks at their best (which I love and compare all PSLs to). My husband got the charcoal latte, which tasted like warm milk and left much to be desired. Based on the description, it should have tasted like a vanilla latte, but there wasn’t a hint of vanilla or espresso. He’s too polite to complain, but I would have sent it back (and frankly, wanted him to). We ordered “for here”, but we got paper cups. Others had mugs, so I was disappointed. I don’t know if it’s because we ordered 12 oz drinks, but it wasn’t what I expected. Atmosphere was good, and it was nice that they also had a restroom available.

I just had coffee to go. The flat white was very good and perfect for a winter day. The hot cocoa was ok. Thanks for everything

Got the salmon eggs benedict with smashed potatoes and wow, one of the best eggs benedict I’ve had! The sourdough bread was crunchy and the balance between the flavors in the dish was great. 10/10 stars

They roast their Ethiopian coffee beans. The coffee was so delicious that I had never tasted anything like it in Virginia. They are indeed professionals.

Yelp
Counter-service coffee shop where you order on tables at the front Have a small array of pastries + a solid selection of food & drinks The space is cozy, but the seats are not super comfortable My GF and I each got lattes, and we split both a BEC breakfast sandwich and a "croissant French toast". The drinks were great, and the food was very good as well, but the biscuit that the BEC was served on completely fell apart when we tried to pick it up to eat it

Yelp
Probably the best cold brew I've ever had. Delicious breakfast! Loved the Mediterranean Scrambled eggs, hubby loved the Huevos Rancheros and of course, we got breakfast dessert, the croissant french toast. Loved everything! Service was quick and friendly. We opted to eat outside since it was packed but enjoyed it!

Yelp
I came here this morning on a whim before I left the DC area. I was not disappointed. The cafe is tucked away but it is in such a nice little area with outdoor seating. The inside is not too loud -- a good place to get breakfast with friends or get some work done. It's not silent by any means so a virtual meeting would be pretty hard. I got the blueberry pancakes and the barista suggested the Spanish latte. Both were delicious. The latte was not too sweet, but still a little sweeter than I prefer (I drink plain lattes for reference tho). The barista also served me my food and he was so kind. I didn't get his name but he was super sweet (and cute ;)) Anyways, a good morning in at Origin!! **bonus -- bacon on the side was so good!!!

Angela L.

Yelp
Delicious food that's presented well in a lovely atmosphere! First time I had the Crab Benedict I was delighted to find that the potatoes were perfectly crispy and piping hot. I also love the juicy pop of the cherry tomatoes. This is high quality food! The croissant French toast was very nicely layered and I love that they used freshly made blueberry compote and paired it with fresh berries as well. Service was friendly and quick though you do order on a kiosk. I'd love to try their coffee and pastries next time.

Yelp
Yum! I'm rarely in this part of town and I've never hopped over to the storefronts behind Pentagon City Mall, but I was in the neighborhood with free time and was in search of good coffee. I was happy to end up here for a hot vanilla latte. There were lots of seating options and most tables were open when I went on a Wednesday afternoon. The milk was foamed expertly and the espresso was standard if not slightly mild. There was a bunch of baked goods behind the counter, but I wasn't sure how to order them since I couldn't find them in the ordering tablet. I was a tad confused since there was no one assisting with orders, that's the only reason for the 4-star review. Always happy to support a local coffee shop. Would return if I was in the neighborhood!

Yelp
This place is good for the morning coffee and small breakfast in this "restaurant row" location. The other restaurants open at 11am so this place slows down their business (coffee, smoothies, breakfast, cakes, etc.) around that time. GPS was not helpful so we called the business for better details on how to find them. We are not from the area and it was a bit confusing. The lady who answered the phone was helpful and we found our way there. We ordered a frappe, americano, and the Mediterranean Omelette/Egg Scramble. Drinks were very well made. The breakfast was also very well made. The breakfast was a bit smaller in portion size than what we are used to for the price. Still, tasted great and came with a warm and small fresh biscuit loaf. The staff were very kind and professional. They helped us with the ordering process on the POS Machine. There is an option in the beginning of the order where you must choose dining in or take out. The staff helped us with that, patiently. Great outside scenery and nice seating options in the courtyard.

Yelp
Origin has pretty good coffee, they have a convenient iPad to place orders and nice seating area for dining or working. The service was great and quick, you pick a table number when ordering and the staff brings it over to you. The food however was extremely greasy. Got the plain croissant heated, and the croissants French toast which were both totally drenched in butter/oil. I probably will stick to the coffee next time.

Shawn H.

Yelp
There weren't any other coffee shops around so we stopped by here since it's convenient to eat outside with the doggos. The coffee is the only reason for the 2 stars. That was good. The food was SOOOOO GREASY. The French toast was pure oil. The shakshuka had oil just floating on top. Definitely off putting. I also hate that they make you use an iPad to order but they only have ONE. the one outside is broken- I tried it, and after I put in everything I wanted, the transaction failed bc the card reader doesn't work. People take their sweet time bc they're perusing the menu ON the iPad instead of seeing the menu elsewhere first. Post a damn menu on the wall or have it readily available, not behind the counter. The guy in front of me took FOREVER. Either put up more iPads or take the damn order yourself. It's sooooo counterproductive- this isn't efficient. The place itself has a cozy atmosphere indoors. I can't recommend this for food. JUST get your coffee here. Everything is self service so why am I paying any tip? The tip culture everywhere is ridiculous but this is even more absurd where you put in your order at a kiosk and return your plates yourself. WTH.

Yelp
Origin is just different. As one of the premier coffee shops in the DMV it truly is the "origin" of all coffee between here and Addis Ababa! But it's so much more than just a coffee shop, it's become known as a hangout spot to socialize and whatnot in the evening and as the place to get work done during the day. The Service here is phenomenal, the GM runs a tight ship and the result is excellence! I personally love the Capp, latte, drip and americano. The pastry chef is a magician and makes some of the best pastries the DMV has ever seen! So if you are in pentagon city you must come by and check out Origin!

Yelp
Atmosphere: We went to Origin Coffee Lab on a sprinkling day for brunch. The inside was quite busy, but we luckily found a spot. The space overall was clean and warmly decorated. Service: The cafe was pretty crowded when we visited, so it took us a while to reach the iPad ordering kiosk and receive our food. Food: We ordered the Vanilla Pancakes, the Origin Benedict, and the Classic Benedict. The Vanilla Pancakes were warm and quite sweet, especially paired with the ice cream, berries, and maple syrup. The Origin Benedict came with slow braised pulled pork, blistered cherry tomato, garlic smashed potato, soft poached egg hollandaise sauce, and a buttermilk biscuit. The Classic Benedict was the same but with bacon instead. Both the Origin and Classic Benedicts were well-presented but bland. We also had a Spanish Latte to drink. We loved how it wasn't too sweet, and the condensed milk added a perfect amount of creaminess to the latte. Overall: We're glad to have given Origin Coffee Lab a shot, but we felt like our meal was a bit overpriced and the wait was not worth it. The parking situation was also a bit of a hassle (free for an hour but then paid afterwards), which may deter us from returning.

Yelp
I came here 2 years ago and was blown away by the quality and taste of the chai latte, coffee, and customer service I received. So much so that my friend and I ended up coming back a few times before we left. Well, we went back recently and were very disappointed. The chai was significantly different and very watered down. I actually went back to check that oat milk was used. The barista did offer to remake my drink but by then it was a wash. I was disappointed that a coffee spot I was so mesmerized by just 2 years prior had fallen off so much. I didn't try the coffee this trip and probably won't be back unfortunately.

Yelp
I tried Origins Coffee & Kitchen during my recent visit to Washington DC. I highly recommend stopping in for breakfast and a cup of coffee. It is a little small but adorable place with great food and good coffee. You order through an iPad and they bring the food out to your table. It was a rainy day when I visited but can imagine it being a great place to sit outside in the little quad. I will define back on my next visit. The chorizo was spicy but delicious as well as the homemade biscuit.

Lauren R.

Yelp
Great tasting coffee, just kinda heavy on the creamer/milk. Wouldn't recommend heating the croissant, it got kinda gummy like when you microwave a croissant.

Krishna T.

Yelp
Stopped by Origin today and loved my experience start to finish! Coffee: We only ordered iced Spanish lattes per a friend's recommendation, and loved them! I've never had a Spanish latter before - it's essentially a latte but with a bit of condensed milk added into it. I usually drink my coffee without sugar, but I didn't find the sweetness level to be overwhelming at all. Service: The service was also excellent! You have to place your order at a kiosk, but the barista, Helena, was readily available to answer my questions and even offered to customize my Spanish latte if I wanted it less sweet! Ambiance: I loved that the place as was busy and energetic but there was still was still plenty of seating available. We had planned to only sit for a bit, but ended up sticking around for a while! It's definitely a great place to read a book, catch up with a friend, or get some work done!

Jim W.

Yelp
I'm sorry, but this place must get its good reviews because there's no other coffee place around. Service is slower than any other coffee shop I've encountered in the area. They think they're cool because you can order from 3 iPads (two inside and one outside their front entrance...probably places there because the other two create a choke point at the door). Coffee is good, but by the time you get it, it's warm not hot. Once you order, they give you a number for your table...to try and get you away from the choke point they created. Once at your table, someone brings your coffee or other food in a less-than-timely manner. My sweater was out of fashion by the time my coffee came! Go here once, just to prove me wrong (won't happen), then walk miles to the nearest Starbucks or other Mom-and-Pop coffee shop!

Benjamin H.

Yelp
Coffee was pretty good, specialty grade as far as east coast goes(no wow factor or perfection as I have at some places back home in the west coast) not astringent and bitter low quality like a lot of the places on the east medium roast balanced and sweet espresso for the flat white I ordered! Atmosphere was pretty good too and liked the barista! Good place, will be my go to in the DC area for sure!

Bernard A.

Yelp
We tried this place during the Army Ten-miler looking for a breakfast spot and this was at the top of the list. The Match Green Tea and Coffee were fresh and prepared well. The food was good. It was informal with table service. Overall a good place in DC

Bradley L.

Yelp
I live in Pentagon City and this is my go to coffee spot. Orders are served fast. Never had to wait too long for a drink or food order before.

Makayla J.

Yelp
I stopped by here to grab an iced matcha latte. It was pre-sweetened, i added a caramel drizzle, extra shot of espresso, and oat milk. Definitely not the best I've had but not the worst. Probably 7/10 I asked for an extra caramel drizzle and they use syrup not an actual drizzle which is important to note. The beverage was more milky than it was matcha so it was just an okay drink. The cashier was nice but when I asked a question on whether the matcha was pre-sweetened or not it seemed as if I was brushed off a bit so that he could get back to his conversation sooner. Would I come back here again if I was in the area, hmm maybe maybe not. I'm not sure if the just okay $11 matcha was with it.

Yelp
The iPad ordering system is a train wreck of inefficiency. The vegetarian option consisted of paying for the meat but not getting it. Branded as a coffee shop but no option for half and half or cream? DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE HUNGRY as it will take a lifetime to get your overpriced food.

Janrose S.

Yelp
You order at a kiosk and find a seat while waiting for your order. I ordered the Spanish latte with oat milk and it was tasty! Not too sweet. Lots of people working and chatting with friends. Noise level was average, not too quiet nor too loud. They have some food options in the display case. I need to come back to try their tres leches!

Jacky C.

Yelp
Came here for brunch. This place was packed, with all tables taken, mainly students working on their laptops. Was able to snag a table after waiting in line long enough to see people leave. For sure, this is a coffee shop to get some work done on your laptop, to have a meet up. Unless you're struggling mad hard using the iPad to self-serve your order and really holding up the line, you place your order at said iPad. Unfortunately there's only one iPad. Ideally, you type in the table number as your number when asked upon. It's pretty simple if you're tech-savvy. Drinks, the baristas will call your number out and you have to go pick your drinks up. Food, they will service you and the service is exceptional. My gf and I shared a Cinnamon Spiced Latte (Large - $6.15), which we enjoyed. Not too sweet, has that pumpkin spice taste to it, which shouldn't be a surprise if you know how pumpkin spiced flavor is made. My gf ordered the Blueberry Pancake ($16), which she enjoyed. From the few bites I got, it was super fluffy, not too sweet, and the fruits really complemented the pancakes. For myself, I ordered the Slow Braised Pulled Pork ($12). Has a slight spicy kick to it that I enjoyed with what tasted like BBQ sauce served on a toasted everything bagel. There wasn't a lot of braised pulled pork in the sandwich compared to their marketing photos used, so I felt like for the price it wasn't worth it.

Yelp
I came with my Friend from Maine. He was catching a flight that morning. The Origin is close to the Airport. I had a Chai Latte - YUUMMM. Then I ordered the Classic Benedict. The eggs are 'cage free', on top of bacon (no nitrates) and a buttermilk biscuit (made from scratch). It was delightful. The coffee bar brought our drinks the the table. Then we had a sign on our table and they called the number of our sign, and delivered the food. The prices were reasonable for the quality you recieve. We are both Native Californians and pleased to find organic, fresh food, and fresh ground coffee so close to my home in Arlington. See - No reason to live in CA anymore. I have business in DC

Nkechi O.

Yelp
I came across this place through Google Maps recommendations for vegetarian breakfast. It's located in the mini Square of Pentagon Row. The interior has a cute relaxed vibe, I wish I brought my laptop. I got this olive dish which I'd never had before it came with a biscuit. I liked the dish 7/10 was so hot coming out. The biscuit wasn't hard and fluffy batter. My only complaint was there were a lot of olives in the dish. So it was a little overwhelming. I originally ordered a match oat milk iced latte but it was a little too sweet for me. They let me get an oat milk ice latte instead and it was pretty good. Definitely would come back just to work or have coffee.

Yelp
Location: This is my favorite coffee shop in Arlington/Pentagon City. Tucked away in the Pentagon Row shopping center, it's perfect to grab a coffee and then run errands or hit the pentagon city mall. It's also a great location for brunch, especially if you have pets! Outdoor seating area is nearby is great when the weather is nice, and there's plenty of space for kiddos or pets to run around. It's also quiet and there's different types of seating inside (table, high tops, couch) so a good place to study or get some work done. Drink: My favorite craft coffee on the menu is the cinnamon spiced latte (i order with oat milk) which is great both hot or iced. All of their coffee drinks are incredible though, the beans they use are great quality, aromatic, and smooth. I can't wait to try their seasonal drinks in the fall/winter. If you're eating in the cafe, you'll get a traditional mug/cup. If you order to go, it'll be be in a to go cup! Food: My favorite thing on the food menu is by far the carrot cake - it might be the best I've ever had! The cream cheese frosting is phenomenal! For brunch, their pancakes are yummy and decadent. I also recommend the avocado toast (not pictured) but beware it has quite the kick to it! Get without the chili powder if you're not a fan of spice. What's great is all the ordering here is electronic, so if you want to make edits or accommodations for an order it's super easy to do! They also have two ordering stations, one inside and one outside for those enjoying the patio or on the go.

Frances F.

Yelp
This is my favorite local go-to coffee place on a Saturday morning. Very trendy, think hipster vibes with a sprinkle of techy panacheness, aesthically pleasing to the eye, and the service is always top tier. Love there are options to sit indoors or outdoors. My favorite thing to get is the Spanish Latte w/Oatmilk and an Almond Croissant. The latte is so creamy and the espresso is so good! I never feel jittery after drinking it. Tacos, eggs, pancakes, carrot cake (my other fave), avocado toast all winners! If you haven't tried this place yet, go for it you won't be disappointed.

Emily L.

Yelp
I was looking for a good breakfast place that was walkable and made my way to Origin Coffee! I had come here many times prior for a coffee but didn't realize how good their breakfast menu was! The dishes were so tasty and light. Both dishes were 10/10. The blueberry pancake had a light and fluffy texture with a sweet filling on the side. The salmon eggs Benedict was savory and seasoned well. I'm happy to have spent my morning here and am excited to come back.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Origin Coffee Lab & Kitchen has been on my coffee list for at least a year. This a great shop with lots of natural light and a perfect spot to study, work or visit with a friend. The most important part is the coffee; it was fabulous. The barista definitely knows her stuff. I had the option of two different types of beans for my cortado. She explained the beans to me and explained which one would be best for a cortado. Then she made a superb cortado. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who enjoys well made espresso drinks.

Maddie M.

Yelp
The biggest perk of this place is that it is open until 8pm. However, I wasn't super impressed either time I went by to get some work done and grab a drink. It's usually pretty crowded and the sleek, modern look causes a bit of an echo so even if it's not crowded it definitely sounds like it. Highly recommend going outside of peak hours if you're looking to get some work done. Otherwise, grab a coffee to go!

Sarah K.

Yelp
SUCH a cute little spot! Lots of seating and natural lighting. The coffee is self order on an iPad in the front. I love that you can choose between getting a house blend or single origin. The coffee was delicious and I enjoyed finding this new gem

Austin G.

Yelp
Housed in a former Starbucks in Pentagon Row is a coffee shop that is more of a lab than cafe. With a sleek design, visitors are greeted with neo signs and a map of where their coffee is sourced. After stopping in for a Monday morning cup of coffee, here's my experience: 1) Coffee: They roast their own coffee inhouse so expect that fresh coffee smell when you enter. Their coffee menu is listed on a sleek menu on the wall behind the barista counter. I ordered the Spanish Latte (a latte with sweetened condensed milk). It was the best latte I've had in the D.C. area made from sweetened condensed milk. 2) Food: They have pastries, cakes and a full breakfast menu! 3) Space: It's very hip and inviting. There are tables throughout and wifi, making it a perfect working spot. If you like good coffee, head to Origin Coffee Lab and Kitchen.

Lena M.

Yelp
Came here today for a work lunch and adored it! It is now a Must-Go-To stop on my NoVA list. The place was very trendy. I loved its vibe and decor. The baristas were so kind, patient, and helpful. They had a great "Happy Hour" special going that made our drinks a better price too. My coworker got a Frappé and really enjoyed it. I loved my Iced Matcha Latte with almond milk and vanilla syrup. It was light and refreshing. The quality and flavors of the drink were a huge plus. We both got the Avocado Toast. The bread was good and the combo of avocado and cream cheese worked really well together. They offer pancakes and I'm looking forward to coming back to try them. I especially enjoyed the Milk Cake I got. So fluffy and creamy. I can't describe how incredible its flavor was. I love the ingredients they use at this place. The coconut flakes on top were a huge plus for me. Can't wait to return for more at Origin Coffee Lab & Kitchen!

Faizah C.

Yelp
The Good: Our vanillas chai lattes were fantastic. This is a self-service/order, gourmet coffee bar, and lounge that apparently replaced the Starbucks. There are a good number of seats, benches, couches and high top tables to sip & chat. As a science lover I thought the neon sign of a molecule was a perfect touch and for the bill of the business. The Bad: The line forms perpendicular to the door. New patrons must circle around tables to stand in line next to patrons faces while they are eating and talking. Highly uncomfortable. The self-service ordering takes FOREVER. Hence the long line. There also seems to be a window that serves as a portal to the outside. Patrons can also stand in the freezing cold and receive their order at that window. I didn't order food, but I did get a glimpse of a plate and it looked and smelled like heaven. Bacon was on that plate, of course.

David M.

Yelp
This coffee shop is very aesthetically pleasing with an interesting interior decor, plenty of seating and soft music playing in the background. They offer some small pastries which looked good. I ordered my usual latte. The milk was very nicely textured and at a good temp. The barista drew some decent latte art in the porcelain cup. I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee flavor. They were using an Ethiopian bean which was very fruit forward. That flavor was very predominant in the cup and it just wasn't my favorite. Overall, the shop is nice and I would recommend if you are in the area.

Lee S.

Yelp
A great meeting place for groups of 5-10. Excellent coffee and breakfast items. Can't wait to go back!

Mariya G.

Yelp
Very convenient ordering system-by the time we were done choosing our food our drinks were ready! I had a delicious Spanish latte with extra foam and a croissant with smoked salmon. The food was definitely pricy but the coffee was worth it!

Jessy G.

Yelp
Thank you fellow yelpers for another great find! If I could give more starts I would! Service was excellent. Coffee was AMAZING!!!! And pretty too!!!! I thought I knew good coffee..... But oh my! was I surprised! This coffee shop has a full kitchen so the food is fresh(not reheated). My bacon egg and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious! I had the Spanish latte which left a lasting impact. Thank you!!

Marada C.

Yelp
Discovered this place while exploring the city. Had a really good time and delicious pastry and coffee. I got the seasonal drink, I think it was something akin to an iced cinnamon latte. It was surprisingly good and not overly sweet which is always a plus. Also got the cream cheese loaf, it was a dense, but moist delicious loaf. The barista offered to warm it up but I went for it cold. Tasted fine cold but I think I'd like to try it warmed next time. Mostly a self service type of ordering style with iPads, but I had help from the barista since my option wasn't available. I'm more of a fan of the interaction for coffee shops so that was nice it wasn't strictly "iPad order only". Interior was modern and inviting and a great place to work I would say. Overall, I'll be back! Also, for what it's worth, this is a pricier, gourmet coffee shop. I think two loaf/cakes and a beverage set me back $20+ dollars. It's fairly consistent with the area but I always get sticker shock when I spend more than $10 at a coffee shop haha. But for the service and quality, it's understandable.

Nash I.

Yelp
Your standard local coffee shop. I got the single origin latte with lavender and I enjoyed it, because they didn't make it too sweet. My partner got the decaf coffee and I thought it tasted a little sour (however that may be because I am not a decaf drinker) so I would be wary of that. I loved the ambiance and could see myself going back again to get some work done!

Marco O.

Yelp
The location was tucked away in the center of Westpost. A very inviting and chic atmosphere. Plenty of indoor and possible outdoor seating. Nice variety in selection choice. Price is at economy market value and met my needs. Would recommend.

Ashley G.

Yelp
What I really like about this place is their red latte, which is not a super common drink. It's a rooibos tea latte, so it's actually caffeine free. They make good use of the space they have, but it's still not enough seating at peak times.

Jay G.

Yelp
Popped in for pancakes on National Pancake Day. Shared the Blueberry pancakes and they were absolutely delicious. The cream cheese topping and blueberry compote were very nice. Also got the avocado toast on sourdough. The toast was quite crispy, just the way I like it and was topped with a very generous portion of avocado. We topped it off with the Coffee Milk Cake. My friends! You must try this. It was absolutely amazing.

Larry G.

Yelp
The best coffee drinks ever ! Almond Croissant flat white tasty coffee and sooooo good , nice relaxing ambience maybe more

Riki P.

Yelp
I got off the subway and walked here because I saw they had good reviews for their breakfast! When I got here, the espresso machine was being worked on and there was a big line. Apparently, they used to have two order stations, but now only have one. So it was SUPER slow ordering. It was super hot and muggy while waiting in line because the order station is right next to the door. But once seated, the ac cooled me down quite nicely. Unfortunately, my one other complaint comes in the food temperature- I oraffagadodered the pancake with bacon and eggs. When the wait staff brought it out (which didn't seem too long), it was like warm at best. There was also just one tiny piece of bacon. However, I ordered an extra egg, and was rewarded two extra eggs! It was also very tasty! I asked for ketchup because my family has a long and unbroken history of eating ketchup on eggs. They don't have ketchup but the kitchen staff was courteous enough to ask if I'd like bbq sauce instead. Not quite the same, but the breakfast was still good. I also had the coffee milk cake which was delicious. I was going to have an Affogado, but no hot coffee means no Affogado. And the coffee milk cake was a nice substitute.

Yelp
Very tasty breakfast and coffee drinks. Staff is very friendly when they do interact with you. Wish there was a third tablet to order from or a sign to just order online to make the line move faster.

Yelp
So happy I tried this place out on the fly. I got the Spanish latte and the avocado toast on croissant with a side of eggs to go. I had already pulled out salt and pepper to season the eggs just in my experience they are usually bland when ordering out. Not these! I was so pleasantly surprised how tasty they were. Everything was really tasty and am excited this is in the area and that pentagon city is getting some non chain restaurants in the area!

Yelp
Very nice coffee/breakfast place! There's outdoor seating in the little plaza/square area nearby, and it looked like indoor seating available as well. Order by walking up to the window from outside. Our party got the smoked salmon sandwich (one on croissant, one on bagel), eggs Benedict, granola yogurt bowl, and the origin breakfast. Everything was quite good, the smoked salmon was the star of the show though. We also got various coffee drinks, all of which were excellent. We'll be back tomorrow before we head out of town!

Yelp
Love this place!! Wow. Perfect temperature, high ceilings, friendly counter service. We came here for dessert and coffee only. Both did not disappoint. The "milk cake" with coconut on top was the perfect ending to a lunch. Light and flavorful. As for the coffee it was creamy and delicious. I rarely see affogato on a menu. I was disappointed in myself because I saw it after I ordered. Ugh!! My only complaint was the 5 cent fork given with the amazing cake. If I were the cake, I would be offended. Highly recommend this place!!!!

Yelp
Coffee and food here is top-notch! I highly recommend the breakfast here. Everything is made from scratch and tastes fresh. The scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, bread, and even salad are delicious here. The atmosphere is great for working and there is a dedicated outdoor seating area. The atmosphere is casual and clean. The staff members are nice and helpful.
