The Best Burgers in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Hours: Daily, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Established in 1977, this comfortable burger joint is famous for its smoky, char-broiled burgers and condiment bar, where customers add their own fixings. Over the years, the menu has broadened to include grilled chicken or fish sandwiches, a hot dog, a vegetarian garden burger, and fish and chips (should anyone need options during Lent), but really, the burger’s the thing to come for. A full bar and big-screen televisions give the place a slight sports bar vibe. Best for: A wood-paneled time warp and flame-broiled burgers on cafeteria trays with a side of nostalgia." - McConnell Quinn

Stopped by after it was recommended by a friend! Robert was a great help when it came to deciding what to order! The burger was so good! Chili cheese fries were great! Definitely skipping adding the bacon next time!

Google
Stopped by the Original Hanburger Works the other day. We order a couple of burgers, wings, fries, and fried zucchini. The burgers were great and could have been better w some seasoning added to the meat. They were freshly made, which i loved. They do have a wheel wagon with all the fresh ingredients to add and build your burger your own way. That was awesome. Let's get to the WINGS. Oh man, the wings were from another planet. They were some of the best wings I have tried so far. They are a bit pricey for an order of 10. I believe it's 15 dollars. But they are huge. So they make up in size. They will definitely get you full. I did place an order of fried zucchini. Which honestly I didn't like at all. The zucchini didn't taste fresh. The batter on the zucchini was over fried. Some of the zucchini I could taste the crumbs of batter. Will definitely not order Zucchini from here again. The fries taste great. Well made. Taste like the old school fries. I will give it a 4 star's only because of the fried zucchini. Besides that, everything else was very well made. Great experience overall.

Google
This place was surprisingly good. The price is reasonable and the food is good. That burger I got with the pineapple slice was pretty tasty. The fries and onion rings were okay. I want to go back to try other stuff. Maybe my rate might change.

Google
Best Hamburger I have eaten in Phoenix and possibly anywhere! So good! 1/2 pound of chargrilled, juicy deliciousness with great crust, cooked to perfection. Onion rings were really good too. Sat at bar, bartender was too busy for great customer service but he was nice guy, several regulars at the bar. Highly recommend!

Google
This is a great both bar and restaurant there's a separate bar section for after hours or day drinking and an acceptable area for work lunches or family dinners. It's an interesting style of service where you order at the window and your name gets called. All of their appetizers that are fried are amazing and the namesake the hamburger is delicious, you can taste the flavor an inch before it hits your tongue, although in the effort of full disclosure some people say it's a bit charred, but that's the whole point and I think they are amazing. The bar has margarita and 12 different beers on draft as well as a full alcohol service and Top it all off with friendly service and decent prices make this an easy recommendation.

Google
Original Hamburger Work 2801 N 15th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85007 I had a delightful experience at Hamburger Work, reminiscent of Fuddruckers, especially with their fantastic salad bar that allows you to customize your burger just the way you like it. I ordered the Boarder Burger along with a side of Onion Rings and a refreshing Coke. The burger was absolutely excellent, and I truly enjoyed every bite. The onion rings were a highlight of my meal! They were enormous and incredibly tasty, making them a perfect complement to my burger. I am genuinely looking forward to my next visit!

Google
You get your burger how you deserve it. Very similar to backyard grill. 1/2 lb or 1/3 lb. Even a full pound if you’re not paying attention. Build your own topping “salad bar” style.

Google
This place is and always has been great! Even after all these years, it maintains it's quality, service and atmosphere! Great place for families and to take out of town visitors for a taste of 'old' Phoenix. The food tastes fantastic and the prices are very affordable. Service and staff are awesome. I witnessed different staff members checking the fresh condiment bar approximately every four minutes! Great attention to detail, filling items getting low, adding more napkins and constantly keeping a watchful eye on it! Amazing to see people take such pride and care these days!!! This is a great atmosphere and the food tastes like a backyard BBQ, not some processed nonsense from a chain-restaurant. Highly recommended (as always!)!!!

Yelp
Great place, a hidden gem. It's more like a dive bar meets a chuck wagon burger smashed together. I will for sure come back when I am in the area again.

Yelp
We live Original Hamburger Works! It's very casual. Reminds me a bit of an indoor Greasewood Flats, for those who remember that unique place. Rustic picnic tables inside. You order at the window into the kitchen. Simple menu. The mesquite grilled burgers are really good and the buns are fresh. The best part for me is the wagon that holds all the fixin's for your beef or garden burger, or chicken sandwich. Their French fries are so good too. And there's the self-serve soda machine. There is a 'Cheers style' bar at the back, again very casual-rustic and comfortable. They serve beer, wine and cocktails. Access to an outdoor courtyard is through a door in the bar. You can enter this way from the parking lot in back.

Yelp
Do not recommend I am genuinely confused at how anyone can recommend this place and/or write a good review. We are from Chicago but since the reviews are so good we decided this had to be one of those gem dive bars that have amazing food. NOOOOO. Start by walking in- it smells like old bar, it's dark. Ok,we can get past the musty stale smell. We order our food- they ran out of water, they ran out of milkshakes. We order 3 burgers 2 fries and a fountain drink. Burgers- way overdone. This is best compared to a frozen patty made at home and cooked to death. It was really bad, so dry it's hard to swallow. The flavor is ok. Fries- old, cold, old oil, soggy Fountain drink- it says coke but pretty sure it's not. Maybe flat RC? We ended up outside because the smell was too much. I'm shocked this place has the reviews they do. It was honestly probably the worst burger I've had. I hope this was a fluke and their food is actually good, but there's no chance we are coming back on our next visit.

Yelp
We've always wanted to come by and check this place out and we finally did! We got a chicken sandwich was so yummy and had a great charred flavor and a burger as well! Love that you could just order and sit down plus having a condiment bar was a plus! We did order some wings but those weren't really anything we enjoyed, maybe would have been better if they were bone in!

Yelp
Oh my goodness! We haven't been here in at least 10 years! We moved to the SE side of town and we haven't been back often. We were close and we knew we had to stop in! This place is still amazing! This place has amazing burgers but their condiments bar takes a good above average burger to next level. They've always had an amazing list of burgers to choose from, I got "The Double Big One!" So good! We also got the Mushrooms and Zucchini, we'd absolutely do that again! The only problem we had is with our cashier. I gave her a $50, our bill came out to $42 and change, she gave me $2 back and change. I told Janna I was going to put all of the change in the tip jar so the they would have gotten $7 and change. So by shorting me, they only got $5. I don't know if she was being dishonest but I'd feel a lot better about it if I gave her multiple bills.

Bryan F.

Yelp
Always great. Love the taste of the char on their burgers. Plus you can select your type of bun.

Nick D.

Yelp
After 29 years this will be my last time eating here. 30$ for a crappy lunch and did not even get what we ordered and your response was to charge us full price for fries that should have come with my ordered lunch.
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
Mesquite broiled burgers over an open flame!!! Ordered the #1 lunch special, The Big One & Fries with provolone cheese. Then you pile on your choice of condiments and fixin's at the legendary fixin's wagon. The food here is freshly made to order. The burger was very good and hot! Service is very self service, walk up to order. They call you when your food is ready. Get the fixin's yourself.
google avatar

Yelp
Fun hangout for the family, or friends in the bar area. They have 2 soda fountains with a lot of options. The restaurant has so much memorabilia on the walls from Phoenix as well! I know they are known for their burgers, but the waffle fries and wings were spot on too. The guy who took our order was super nice, and the employees were really on top of keeping the burger topping bar clean and stocked.
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
It's in a bit of a shady part of town so I was somewhat skeptical...but GO! Older building - clearly been around for awhile, but I think it's all part of the charm. This is a no-frills experience - guy taking our order was direct and had a "keep it moving" type of attitude. You order at a counter and then can order drinks at the bar. Best burger I've had in a long time! Choice of bun - I had the onion bun - so, so good! Flame grilled - sides also perfection. They have a bar where you add your own toppings. Beer was ice cold and refreshing! Crowd was very eclectic - great people watching. Such a fun experience - I'll be back!

Yelp
This charming look back bar and burger house will serve you a great char-broiled burger with fries, onion rings and zucchini rounds or any number of look back hamburger joint foods. Lots of Arizona history, nostalgia, copper topped tables and farm wagon full of burger fixings and salad stuff.
google avatar

Yelp
Pastrami sandwich was incredible. I just love the fact that we have old fashioned burger joints here. I ordered through Door Dash and the food arrived as expected, so quick service!

Yelp
So, I went to Phoenix Community College in 1987 and Hamburger Works I believe was there. I passed by and racking my brain name is familiar. Well got up a couple of Saturdays ago and went to try it out, Burgers great flavor, love the fixings wagon, and interior is cool. But similar to other comments they are not friendly so what may have been 3 or 4 star. But not friendly at all. It is a new thing among some workers in the service industry and since hard to get employees the get ones who don't care about customer service.

Carey H.

Yelp
Still great after all these years! Love the food, prices, ambiance and the employees! We watched the condiment bar be checked and attended to while we eating about every 4 minutes by a member of staff. Refilling low trays, replacing napkins... just constant attention to the dozens of self-serve items always being stocked and checked. You don't see that happen much these days at other places.
google avatar

Yelp
I feel like Original Hamburger Works was hyped. Was the food good? Yes, but nothing wow worthy. The spot was pretty dark and on the older side. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, appetizer foods etc. We ordered burgers and fries. I do like the condiment bar they have. It was well stocked and gives you the option to make yourself a lettuce wrap with all the veggies possible. The fries were okay, could've used some seasoning salt. The meat was fine. Overall we left full and it wasn't expensive.

Yelp
We heard for many years that this place had good food. Today we finally tried it. I had the 1/2 pound patty bacon cheeseburger and fries. My wife had chicken tenders and onion rings. She liked her meal real well and I sampled her onion rings for her. They were excellent! My burger was the best burger I've had in a very long time. The fixings bar was very well stocked and I was very satisfied with the quality of the items. My fries were very good, but just a hair too salty. Not by much. It was about noon on a bright day, but it was a little on the dark side in there. We both used the restrooms and they were clean. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Brian B.

Yelp
This place has fallen from grace. Prices went up and they are charging a "service fee" to cover the credit card charge. Then the cashier was rude! Tried to over charge me and wasn't happy I called her out. Guess I'll have to stick with Chuckbox in Tempe.
google avatar

Shirley V.

Yelp
Dined-10/28/23 -Menu is the same as a few years back aside from maybe a some of the prices given inflation and what not. Friend thought she should've ordered the Great Big one as the patty wasn't enough for her (learning curve). Waffle fries were great, condiments/sides bar was well maintained and clean. We also had fried zucchini which were just okay a little greasy so not much crisp to them. Chicken sandwich was a nice portion overall food was tasty for a local non frills burger joint.
google avatar

Maria Monica M.

Yelp
The flavor of their cheese burger is amazing. Come hungry if you order the fish and chips plate, there was no room to put the ketchup :) Our order came out nice and hot. We sat in the bar area and were checked in on a couple of times to make sure we were good. There's plenty of tv screens to catch your favorite sports. In the corner of the bar is a popcorn machine, my favorite. Family atmosphere too.

Yelp
I'm in the Encanto Palmcroft area and the proximity to a bunch of places many phonecians, especially the Scottsdale variety, may have never even heard of. I've graduated now and Phoenix continues to impress with its diversity of culture and cuisine, especially DTPhx. You can get a burger at a lot of places but the stand outs here were the haunting char grilled flavor! I'm craving it right now.. and the extensive condiment bar at the center of the restaurant. It was a wonderful lunch and I'll be back!

Yelp
4/27/24: short version - large covered patio, decent parking, food wasn't bad, service was so-so. There's a 50/50 chance we would return. Long version - a month late getting this posted but better late than never! This particular Saturday we were both craving a good burger so popped in to OHW. The first thing we noticed was the decent parking lot, then the large patio. I remember it being covered, but the concrete seating was a bit uncomfortable (no surprise); I do not recall whether they had misters out there so unless you're Satan, outside dining may not be a good option. The patio door is where we entered, and at first all I saw was a bar area (a few large booths, dark interior, barstool seating). But as you walk in further, there's another dining area, and it was pretty crowded. You order at the counter (one of two; only one window was open at the time) and the gentleman who took our order was, well, I almost wanted to check if he had a pulse. He didn't smile once, there was no inflection in his voice, he was very deadpan (i.e. not very welcoming or enthusiastic). My sister said "maybe he's been dealing w/ rude customers all day" to which I said "probably, but until we prove we are RUDE CUSTOMERS, I would hope for a better reception". The menu was pretty extensive, and there was a large salad bar nearby -- or so I thought, until I saw it was all the condiments for the burgers. This means people could be touching things they shouldn't be touching, and flies / gnats could be enjoying your condiments before you do. :-) It was well stocked, however, and the fountain drink were serve yourself. A couple other employees did smile at us so that made up for the counter guy. They have some cool decor inside, plus the waffle fries were well cooked. The fried zucchini slices could have been thicker though, IMO. Because the interior was pretty crowded, I didn't get many inside pics, but you can see the ordering lines are similar to an adventure park (metal bars forcing you in one direction). My sister said this OHW reminds her very much like the Chuck Wagon near ASU in Tempe. It was decent food, but not certain a return visit is warranted.

Russ M.

Yelp
I give it a solid 5 stars. Solid hamburgers and fries at a very reasonable price. The toppings bar had everything I needed to create the burger I like. Crispy outter shell from the grill top and a nice thin line of red right in the middle. YUM! Don't sleep on this place.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Giving a place 3 stars just has to mean the experience was questionable in many ways. Original was very interesting; first of all the restaurant size is very deceiving, it's quite large inside the dining area AND has a connected, well appointed sports bar you'd never know was there except for the massive amount of cars you find parking there. The burgers. Holy tenderoni Batman! Bun, soft. Burger, perfectly cooked, substantial, and tastes like sirloin. Condiments available, more than you can handle. Server at the sports bar was may e not having a good day; my lady ordered a gin and tonic and the server/bartender put tequila in it. Recovered well in replacing but seemed disinterested in the mistake. All in all though, gotta go get a burger!

Yelp
The Best Hamburger place in Phoenix!! I truly enjoyed it there and soooooo many choices to choose from! Menu is HUGE. I tried their Hawaiian burger and it was soooo good!! My husband tried the double burger and he enjoyed it. We also tried the sides fries and onion rings and it was soo delicious. The bun is amazing and delicious! I love that they have a full buffet-lookin' burger station UNLIMITED ADD-ONS ike tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños, peppers, onions, etc AND different kids of sauces. You can also refill your drinks with many sodas and drinks to choose from as well as teas. I LOVE it here and planning to come by more often and try a different type of burger next time. Affordable and big portions as well. Fresh and delicious! Employed are also quick, super nice and reliable. Great place with colleagues, friends, family and a place for a quick bite to eat. Big and spacious as well. Planning to come by more often soon.
google avatar

Vikki A.

Yelp
I came here on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the kids chicken strips and 2 burgers with fries and onion rings. I LOVE the char'd taste and thought the burger was delicious. I also loved the chicken tenders and onion rings as well. This place has a lot of seating and I love that you can add your own toppings. I wasn't a fan of the cashier who took my order, he seemed very flat and kind of rude; he didn't acknowledge my presence for what felt like at least 30 seconds before asking what I wanted to order. The food came out fairly quickly and everything was fresh, I would definitely give this place a try if you're in the area!
google avatar

Alice W.

Yelp
Burgers are always good.... Fresh meat and as much as toppings you want to add! We always sit on the bar side and service is good, drinks are cold and the atmosphere is interesting!

Ikaika F.

Yelp
Save your money. If you're looking for a good restaurant to take the family than this isn't the place. We walk in and first thing I noticed was the lighting- it was dark. We walk up and order 3 burgers, 1lb fries and 3 fountain drinks. Burgers- way over cooked/ dry. The burgers tasted like charcoal and was hard to swallow. The toppings tasted old and didn't help. Fries- old, cold, soggy. Fountain drinks- I got a sprite.. I think it was a sprite, it tasted more like water with a lime in it. All and all I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here, the only thing good about this place is its location, other than that this place is terrible. You're better off going to McDonalds or Wendy's.
google avatar

nakeshea l.

Yelp
I was recently at hamburger Works for a birthday party. The burgers are tasty. It's like they've mastered simple charbroiled goodness. You have to go up to the counter to order. It can take a while to be called for your food, but it was worth the wait. I debated a couple of food options. I ultimately went with the regular sized Hawaiian burger, which was tasty. A person was standing in line next to me also recommended fish and chips. I'll have to try that next time.
google avatar

Brent J.

Yelp
As each review is someone's opinion, I heard a lot of great things about this place. But after trying it for the first time tonight, I wasn't impressed. It may have a nice atmosphere and lots of seating, but that's about it. Burgers had no flavor and they were either overcooked or undercooked. This is a place where you wait in line to order your food, but you have to listen for your name to be called over a loudspeaker.
google avatar

Arlene G.

Yelp
This spot is a local hidden gem. It is centrally located in downtown Phoenix. We have been coming here for years for a good burger and sides. I come here with a large group from work, they have two different style of seatings: bar area and common area with booths and tables. This location is perfect for large parties. They have daily specials and combos to choose from. Or you can order individually. Best part is they have an open toppings bar to add some more goodies to your burger.

J M.

Yelp
Burgers were great and "if" they have onion rings OR guacamole....even better! Wish they also had iceberg lettuce....but it's a Good Place!
google avatar

Evan D.

Yelp
Delicious hamburgers. Extremely slow kitchen. And the service at the bar is even worse and slower. At least the regular counter guy is friendly. Bar service is awful and better for locals to the neighborhood. If you just walk in, prepare to be ignored.
google avatar

Lily B.

Yelp
I thought this was a nice option for dining in for something nicer than fast food but not formal dining. You order at a window and bring your food to a table. They have a bar for self serve burger toppings and condiments which I enjoyed. We ordered the bacon cheese burger, veggie burger, fries and fried zucchini. The cheeseburger patty was slightly overcooked. The bread buns were above average. The fries were really tasty. The fried zucchini were decent. I loved that they had a vegetarian/vegan option. The soda fountains were well maintained and had a lot options compared to other restaurants. The value for the price of food was good and I would probably return a second time. The restaurant is older and looks to not have had any updates in the last decade at least. It gives the restaurant a feeling that is both charming but also outdated.

Yelp
Original Hamburger Works 2801 N 15th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85007 October 12, 2022 Drink: 5/5 Food:5/5 Service:3/5 Portion size:4/5 Visit: brought my wife and daughter to have burgers at a place I have been coming to since I was a kid. Drink: Full bar, full soft drink station with over 10 different selections and teas with self serve straws and lids. Food: Ordered a "Big one" combo with waffle fries, small one and fried zucchini, a kids meal chicken strips with 2 drinks added up to $42 very steep price for 2 adults and a 3 year old! Service: Dine in, service was easy just go to the counter and order but I do believe we were miss priced and rushed due to a line.

Yelp
It's been years since I've been here, but I'm glad I came back. My boyfriend is very picky and always has to ask to hold certain toppings. This place was perfect for him. The burgers come plain. There is a "salad bar" with all the fixings, which allows you to add what you want and how much. We both got the bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious. I also loved how they toasted the bun. They also had red cream soda which is one of my favorites. There is also a bar, which I don't recall being there before. I would definitely recommend coming here for a burger. The food was delicious, service amazing, and overall just a great experience.

Yelp
Came in for a lunch with some colleagues. First, DUDE! Parking. Parking is TIGHT!!! Woo. Girl. So, something to be aware of. It's a tight fit but 100% worth it. The line wasn't terribly long. The prices were fairly decent. It was definitely grilled to order. Very tasty but could have some heavy char taste. Some of my colleagues ordered beer battered onion rings & fried zucchini. Service was nice but it was definitely hard to hear your name being called over the loud speaker. Annoying but not enough to keep me from coming back. Definitely worth checking out

Yelp
This place is exactly like chuckbox in downtown Tempe. Great food. This place does have waited service. This one also takes debit and credit not just cash.
google avatar

Liz P.

Yelp
Burgers were amazing. Salad bar with condiments was clean and well stocked.Good service too. Unfortunately, bar smelled foul and was swimming with gnats.
google avatar

Yelp
So good! We didn't realize it was the same owners as the Tempe restaurant. Food was great. My son especially loved the chili cheese fries!!
google avatar

Yelp
Food and Service was good. I would definitely try it again. Just don't use uber eats to order your food call them instead.
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
Extremely good food the hamburger meat is very juicy and you can pack it with as much as you want at the topping bar/condiment stations, the wings are a bit on the pricer side but well worth wht the flavor and amount of meat on each wing. Cashier was very friendly and got thru orders quite quickly, the place itself had a retro/country style. Like being in an old general store/gas station, country music on the speakers ads to the vibe. I'll be returning with friends soon!
google avatar

Paulina S.

Yelp
The dude that takes the orders up front is a douche and has no courtesy. Bad customer service. Won't return

Yelp
First time in and we truly enjoyed the experience. I got the chicken strips which were so good I also decided to get the large sized Arizona fries which work out well for how I eat so if you wanna know if I mean it's a nice sized portion then yes sir you're correct!! Ok Michael got a burger cause he's the one who's gonna pull a places card on what you're saying good, So get this they have a condiment cart it's like a horse in carriage style type cart very cool very cute and clean !! Staff was great, we got adult drinks in the bar for myself it was a Long Island and Michael had Church Music (IPA) absolutely divine I was supposed to catch the bar tenders name damn it Michael ‍anyhow y'all his memory does fail me sometimes ‍ he wanted to make sure y'all knew that the IPA is off the tap. And the bar tender somebody's mama looking Gorgeous, and I'm not just saying that because I got a bomb drink either lol. Really sweet woman. He had a burger 3/4 lbs with sautéed mushrooms on it !! Unless you get the burgers with stated inclusion it will come plain and beautifully everything you want can be added from that condiment bar I told y'all they have. The kitchen threw down tho because y'all they have something in the sauce that's like some mm mm sauce it's soo good like...who made that?!im a bird biter and I ate a lot of food like my 2go box was the small one that's like loud af from a tiny foodie like me. Anyhow, guys it's a true 10 come here to a yummy tuck away. The place deserves a visit and like we all should already be doing come unconvinced and just get spicy alright bon appétit!

Yelp
I found this eatery on Yelp! under burger spots. I had high hopes for this place. It's not too far from the airport and not too far from the I-10. The OHW has been around for awhile and it's cute, with rustic decor and charm. There is a bar with TVs located at the back end of the restaurant, adjacent from the counter; where you order. I ordered a 1/2 lb. burger with mushrooms, bacon, and cheddar cheese. My son ordered the 1/2 lb. bacon and cheese burger. We both chose French fries for our side. We were called to the counter, to pick up our burgers. I have to say what a disappointment. My Classic burger which includes bacon, mushrooms and cheese of my choice. My patty was bigger than the bun... nice, right? The patty was way overcooked (dry as sawdust) and a bit burnt, hidden by the cheese and the TWO MUSHROOMS on top of the patty. Two mushrooms really don't qualify as MUSHROOMS in my opinion. I was really frustrated and disappointed. I hadn't eaten all day and since we had to wait a while already... I ate the mediocre burger. There is a fresh condiment bar to put the fixings on top of your burger. They should have a sign stating they will overcook the burgers. The one and only attribute is the football decor by the bar and the decor in the area of the main entrance.

Yelp
Went on a Friday during Happy Hour. Ordered at the grill but opted to sit in the bar and order adult beverages. A small one with cheddar, order of zucchini, a big one with bacon and pepper jack on a onion bun with fries. Food is cooked to order. As we waited for our food Heather took our drink order. A few minutes later Kaycie took over. Both of these bartenders were great. Friendly, attentive. They even gave me a taste of a sour they have a draft. Our name was called and we picked up our food. At first glance the patties are definitely hand pressed, cheese melted, bun toasted nicely. Zucchini perfectly fried a golden brown. Fries, hot but nothing special, just average skin on fries. You add your own toppings at a bar within the restaurant. The normals with the addition of jalapeños and pepperonchinis. Lettuce fresh and red onion versus yellow. Fixed our burgers and sat back at the bar. The zucchini was fantastic. Those golden coins dipped in the little tub of ranch were worth the drive. The burger...it was cooked properly but all I could taste was smoke. Not a good bbq tasting smoke either. Even with the addition of dill pickles (which I never add to my burgers) I couldn't over take that overwhelming taste of smoke. I literally took three bites and was done. Thank goodness for the zucchini or I'd gone home hungry. If we would have sat within the restaurant my review would probably be two stars. But sitting in the bar and having Heather and Kaycie made up for my foods lacking. It was a Sun's game night and when we got ready to leave the place was packed. It'd go back for zucchini and beers but probably nothing else. There are better burgers in town.

Yelp
Usually good fast service... until today. First ones in the door, ordered a burger hot dog fries and rings. 30 min later and still waiting. Went to check and told it's coming, bullshit you just put it on the grill!! Done, last time here.

Yelp
First time coming but my husband and kids have been here before. For value and taste it was good I love the idea of the sides being available like a salad bar you put it on. Cheese and grilled items are extra about 79cents and I love grilled onions so of course I got some and you gotta have cheese. Fries were decent. Overall I would say a good burger place.

Yelp
I love this place. I really dig the vibe, bar on one side, jukebox playing Tom Petty in the background, restaurant on the other side, with the open kitchen right there with the chefs cooking their hearts out. The aroma is wonderful and makes my stomach churn and moan with anticipation. Wood decor throughout creates this warm, comfortable ambiance and the copper table tops just top it off and add more character to the whole experience of the restaurant. The people working here have always been nothing but polite to me. Staff are always hustling to get their guests hot fresh food and drink in a quick manner. Kudos to all of the Staff and Management. I must share: So this night I choose takeout because I had worked late. I feel as if I am starving to death and I am craving one of "their" burgers. I walked in and up to the register to place my order "to go". It's 9:35pm and they close at 10:00pm. Personally, I do not like hitting up any restaurant right before they close, for many reasons. The main reason, is these people have lives outside of work and I don't want to be the reason that they have to stay late because of my self centered actions. My stomach had an agenda and there was no reasoning with it that night. Fortunately for my stomach and I, there was no issue at all. On top of ordering a couple of burgers, I threw a wrench in by adding an order of fish and chips, plus an order of bone in wings. I figured I would get a big no since it was about 9:40pm at this point. And I would have been fine with that. Totally understandable at this point in the game. Nope, not at all. No bad attitudes, dirty looks, eye rolling or passive aggressive comments thrown my way. Just great customer service. I was shocked, as I have very reluctantly become expectant and desensitized to such behavior from the employees of supposedly reputable companies. I thanked the chefs and other staff as my order was handed over to me. They actually responded with a resounding "you're welcome" and "no problem". I was shocked. Wow, manners! What a concept. The food I received was hot, delicious and I was very grateful. A big smile was on my face as I left for home that night. I highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
Today I ordered the 1lb burger expecting a burger that size to be difficult to cook just right, but they did it. The flavor was perfect, as was the entire experience. Couldn't finish tho, they definitely make sure you get an entire pound of beef. The service was welcoming and fast considering the three meals ordered. The ambiance was comforting and relaxing, even as the crowd began to arrive.
