"One of those restaurants that every food-lover should get to know! The rapport formed between chef Felipe Bronze and sommelier Cecilia Aldaz works wonderfully well as can be witnessed in every single detail. In this charming and elegant restaurant one block from Leblon beach, the cuisine is a fusion of Brazilian roots and cutting-edge technique. This is reflected in the Afetividade and Criatividade menus (with two and four main courses, respectively) which pay homage to the different regions of Brazil. At the counter in front of the kitchen, with seats for just four guests, you can appreciate the synchronised movement of the chefs at work and their preparation of dishes on the grill – the restaurant’s core element. What impressed us first and foremost was the creativity of the starters, including the superb oysters with a guava “granizado” and a light touch of Biguinho chilli pepper, and the selection of appetisers to eat with your hands, some of which are crunchy, some Brazilian, and others inspired by Japanese cuisine." - Michelin Inspector
"A fine dining restaurant in Rio led by chef Felipe Bronze, combining Brazil's culinary roots with modern techniques. It's recognized for its high-end cuisine." - The MICHELIN Guide
"After seven years, chef Felipe Bronze decided to reopen his acclaimed restaurant Oro as something entirely new, leaving behind the molecular foams and liquid nitrogen that made him a famous TV host. He now focuses on hearty, rustic dishes cooked with live fire, and the centerpieces of his two-Michelin-starred kitchen in Leblon are the wood-burning oven and grill. The nightly lineup of shareable, eat-with-your-hands dishes on his whimsical tasting menu apply international techniques to Brazilian ingredients such as heart of palm and abará, a snack made of black-eyed peas." - Rafael Tonon
"This is a restaurant that is well worth frequenting, as the partnership formed between chef Felipe Bronze and sommelier Cecilia Aldaz works to perfection due to their unmistakable chemistry and friendly approach. Here, the cuisine features a fusion of Brazilian roots and cutting-edge gastronomy, as reflected on two menus—both offering a wine pairing that pays homage to the country’s regions. The kitchen is upstairs, so diners can expect constant traffic—with servers cradling carefully balanced trays." - Michelin Inspector
"An essential Rio de Janeiro restaurant led by chef Felipe Bronze that maintained its two-star Michelin distinction in 2019, and stands as the only two-star venue in the city that year." - Monica Burton
