In the Paseo Arts District, OSO serves Mexican-inspired street tacos and Baja-style cocktails with a creative edge. TravelOK and local writers note its vibe, half-price Taco Tuesday, and broad veggie options on heirloom-corn tortillas.

Such a wonderful experience! We went for a girls day lunch. The patio feels like we are somewhere more exotic - even in August! The cocktails were spot on and they have plenty of mocktail options as well! We split the burrito and steak nachos. Everything was top notch but our waitress really elevated the experience for us. We had the best time and we’ll definitely be back ☺️

Google
We found this place on TikTok and it absolutely lived up to the hype! The vibe was super cool and trendy—great atmosphere all around. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and helpful, especially since it was our first time there. The food was amazing and the drinks were just as impressive. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to. A hidden gem that deserves all the love!

this is so sad to write, as my friend and i thought the food/pricing was quite good. the chorizo taco & the four bottles of creative salsa on the tables were impeccable! we waited about 40 minutes total for an outdoor patio table this evening, as we declined an indoor table for two at 30 minutes. we were seated with water and menus, but waited 20 minutes to have our order taken with no waiter in sight for our table. it was extremely frustrating to watch all tables around us being tend to, as we had absolutely no one come by to introduce themselves. i finally called the restaurant and politely asked if we could have our order taken on the patio after mentioning we had been waiting for 20 minutes. a gal quickly popped outside, apologized, and took our order. we grabbed the loaded tots, a large queso, two birria tacos, & a chicken taco with a chorizo taco. we ate as bussers came by to fill our waters, but still were assigned no waiter ? we then had piled our dishes up to attempt to show we were ready for the check. a waitress for the table next to us swung by asking if we were waiting in any other food, but we just asked for the check. it was extremely hard to want to tip as we had no clue if we even had a waiter, was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever seen. during the whole dinner, we watched every other table be greeted, watched a table behind us order within 6 minutes, and be cashed out in a timely manner. the service all around was a flop: we were never offered a comp on any item and just paid without tipping. super strange that no management had reached out to discuss this evening ….. super weird that they won’t discuss now, 4+ weeks later

Google
I’ve been meaning to write this review because the team at Oso Paseo deserves every bit of recognition. On the day I visited, I unexpectedly had a seizure (definitely not the kind of dramatic entrance I’d recommend), and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was safe and cared for. Their kindness, quick response, and genuine concern meant the world to me in such a vulnerable moment. On top of that, the food and drinks were absolutely amazing—every bite and sip was memorable. But what truly sets Oso Paseo apart is the people. It’s rare to find a place where the hospitality is just as outstanding as the menu, and I’ll always be grateful for the way they treated me. Highly recommend this spot—not only for the great food and drinks, but for the incredible team behind it.

Google
Our first time to enjoy Oso Passeo and is now on the “must enjoy” list on future OKC trips. The fried avocado tacos with sweet/spicy sauce were amazing (with slaw and fruit sides) and the Vallarta Colada was out of this world good. I sat at the bar and the service was superb.

Wow! Such amazing service and please tell Jennifer she was amazing! I had the queso and chips, chicken flautas, and the Oso Paloma, and the Sidewinder Fang cocktail! SO yummy!!!

Google
I had the Carne Asada, and it was absolutely fantastic! The beef was incredibly juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight! The restaurant's atmosphere was also amazing—cozy, vibrant, and inviting. The outdoor seating area was beautifully designed and perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. Overall, this place is a gem for both the food and the ambiance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a lovely dining experience!

“First time at this spot, and I’m already hooked! The food is amazing for the price, and those chips with queso? Absolutely delicious – so creamy and packed with flavor. Can’t wait to come back!”

Yelp

Yelp
We are return customers and we love this place. It is very light & bright with an upbeat atmosphere! The food is great! I had the shrimp taco with street corn. Shrimp was tender & delicious and comes with a very flavorful sauce. The street corn is yummy; love the Cheetos crumbles on top. The burrito was great as was the taco salad was also delicious! Love the environment, the food, and the service! We will be back again.

Yelp
I recommended this place to my coworker for our lunch break as I've enjoyed it in the past, however this was the poorest experience I've received so far. It was not even busy at most six tables filled and we waited over 30 minutes for our food to come just to find out our ticket hadn't been submitted. In that time no one came to check on us or refill our drinks. All we had ordered was the ahi tuna tostadas and a steak quesadilla. This doesn't seem like a complex order to me so I'm not sure why that was such an ask. Our waitress finally returned after about 25 minutes to ask if we were still okay, while there was no food on the table. Most of the staff spent their time hanging out at the bar and talking while we sat without food. While I'm not against that it really comes off as unprofessional when customers aren't being taken care of. Especially when we were one of two table on the patio. We ended up getting it boxed to go because it took so long. The only thing this restaurant has going for them is that my order, the ahi tuna tostadas were delicious although it would have been great to have them on a plate at the restaurant in a timely manner. High chance I won't be returning if the current staff retain the lack of training they've been given.

Yelp
I came to Oso for dinner on a Thursday. It wasn't too crowded and we were seated immediately. I tried the elote corn to start which was delicious. For my main I got the fish tacos and carne asada tacos. It came with two sides so I got the slaw and rice which were both delicious! I got the house marg which was good as well. They had a good variety of flavors for the margs and they were very pretty. Such a cute spot for dinner and drinks!

Yelp
A cute spot with delicious tacos and great cocktails. They also have a nice outdoor patio that's perfect for relaxing with friends and enjoying a drink, especially on a warm summer day.

Yelp
We decided to try OSO because the menu looked good. When we arrived, staff was great. We had the complimentary chips. We then had the guacamole and chips plus queso and chips for appetizer. Both were good! For my main course, I had steak nachos and they were amazing. My husband and I also each ordered a spicy margarita. They were really good. Service was good. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Our water glasses remained full and our waiter was very attentive. The kids cups are bear honey jars. My children loved them and I would go back simply for that. Ambience is fun. The restaurant is kind of small but you don't feel crowded. Outdoor seating and indoor seating are available. I highly recommend.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in the Paseo district of OKC. Cute indoor/outdoor area with tons of things around. Parking spaces available but limited. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with a couple of friends on a Friday night and came in skeptical about Mexican food in OKC primarily because we're from Texas where we have pretty good Mexican cuisine. The menu was not too overwhelming with a good amount of choices. I got the fish taco and fried avocado taco which came with two choices of sides (tots and fruit). I also got the steak carnitas which was beautifully seared and had great flavors. For drinks I got the pineapple rum drink which came in a pineapple, while my buddy got a coconut drink which came in a young coconut! Service was great and since we had kids, they accommodated with the unlimited chips. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall my meal was about $40 for drinks, tacos and the carnitas. Very delicious and I am definitely coming back here next time.

Yelp
Came for the patio but stayed for the street tacos. This place has delicious food, good drinks and good service. We came right before Cinco de Mayo and it was a beautiful sunny day. Seated on the patio was a lovely ambience to take in the scenery and enjoy the food. Our waitress was super patient and attentive to all of our order customizations and was very knowledgeable about the food. If you're a fan of Pina Colada's check out the drink. It comes inside of a nicely decorated coconut which makes the experience even more fun. The variety of sauces also make the tacos deciduous. I would definitely come again!

Yelp
Good tacos and margaritas!!! The server was very attentive. We sat outside which, was pretty nice on a summer night.

Yelp
Cool and fun interior. Greeted upon entry. Tara is waiting on us. Salsa: jalapeño, chili Arbol, Taquero, apricot habanero. Complimentary wheat wheels, crunchy. We ordered chicken flautas (comes with cheese already inside), guacamole, Roja and mango habanero salsa, elote, chicken quesadilla with refried beans and black beans, tacos: chicken fajita, cauliflower and mushrooms. $67.35 The chicken fajita and mushroom tacos were good. The cauliflower was ok. The guacamole was good. The roja and mango habanero salsas were not so good to me, so not so special. The mango habanero is sweet as would be expected, but not spicy. Their squeeze bottle chili Arbol is the better option of all of their salsas, oddly enough and it's complimentary too. Go figure. The other beef would be that most of the chips were small, very few big pieces. My husband likes the big pieces. The elote was okay. Wasn't fond of the hard crunchy takis on it though, super hard to me. The chicken quesadilla was okay, a bit sparse on chicken, mostly cheese in it. Service was good, just a miss with our sides for the quesadilla, refried beans and black beans, got a bowl of fruit. Food was okay. Not sure how I felt about many items being served up in paper cups, seems lazy. Place is nicer and would be more suitable to not bring out the paper items.

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance is a 10/10 always! OSO is in my neighborhood and it's the best little spot for happy hour, date night, or taking your dog for a patio outing! Poppy and I love going in the evening to sit on the patio!

Yelp
Stopped in today for lunch, and drinks. Customer Service was very welcoming and helpful! Our bartender TJ took care of us and served us wonderful drinks and made sure that we had plenty of water and that our appetizers came out on time. We took our time and ordering a food because for us, it was a lazy Saturday and we just wanted to enjoy the ambience and take it all in. The tacos we ordered were very filling and left us wanting to come back. I definitely recommend this place for a nice stop in for lunch and a nice couple of cocktails.
google avatar

Yelp
Props to the bartenders! Awesome service & recommendations. Requested a mocktail with ginger beer, prickly bar and mint and the bartender curated a drink especially for me! Delicious and refreshing. Decided to try the chicken flautas and the brisket tacos. Not a fan of the flautas but highly recommend the burnt end brisket. Best taco on the menu! Staff is in incredibly kind and accommodating. Parking is easy and the vibe is great! New regular spot.

Yelp
Lunch at OSO in the Paseo. Taco Tuesdays. 1/2 price tacos and beer. Good food, nice venue with fiesta vibe.
google avatar

Jewellia S.

Yelp
One of my favorite taco places in Paseo! People say it's overpriced but I always get the taco combo meal and flautas for a starter. I usually end up taking food home because I can't finish it all. I like the atmosphere and the vibe is great in the summer. Esp with Flamingo Tiki just right upstairs

Yelp
Gorgeous setting for a late lunch on a cool spring Friday. My waitress had just the right amount of energy and made me feel right at home. The birria taco was a little more greasy than I expected but had great flavor. The mushroom taco was much more fresh but not quite as flavorful as the birria. Regardless, I'd eat them both again and would absolutely return to the quaint little patio in an artsy area.

Idalia R.

Yelp
The food was not good! Our waitress told us "you can also get street corn as a side" but didn't mention that it was an up charge. The menu also doesn't mention up charges so you don't know until you get the check.

Carolyn G.

Yelp
Very concerned and answered all questions in regards to msg in food items. So kind To take the time. GREAT FOOD.

Yelp
OSO Paseo is a great spot in the historic Paseo District it was perfect a walk-in restaurant, for a happy accident dinner with a colleague, no reservations are needed. They offer a diverse selection of tasty Mexican-inspired street tacos and delicious cocktails. I enjoyed my birria ramen platter, which came with two tacos and two sides, allowing me to sample a bit of everything. The consomme was thick and flavorful, perfect for a cool spring evening. One standout dish is the queso with chorizo, which has a unique and inviting taste of cinnamon or spice. We enjoyed our meal on their patio which was bright and cozy. OSO Paseo is your ultimate destination for an authentic Mexican dining experience, combining a vibrant and cozy atmosphere with a dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Yelp
I brought my son here who was home visiting from college. This was his first time here but I have been here multiple times. He cleared his plate so it was a success. OSO is very consistent with its great service, food and drinks!

Yelp
Hands down one of the best place to dine-in in the area. It has mix of formal & casual dining vibes. Great location, plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. Food taste is on point 10/10. We got seated quickly, our server Emma was excellent. They have plenty of Vegan + Vegetarian options to choose from. I highly recommend Vegetarian Tater Tots, perfectly balance of seasoning and crispiness, it was absolutely delicious. They got busy dinner time but customer service and food quality definitely worth the wait if you have to. I will definitely be going back to this place :)
google avatar

Yelp
I just tried OSO for the first time this month and we've already been back 3 times! Really great food and service. I've tried their Baja fish, carne asada, brisket and Birria tacos! They're all so delicious, made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommend grabbing two tacos with a side of black beans and rice or street corn. Also, don't forget the guacamole appetizer- love it with their crispy tortilla chips. Pro tip, if you're craving shrimp, they'll sub shrimp in their fish taco and it's a game changer.
google avatar

Ashley V.

Yelp
Great vibe at OSO! We came in for taco Tuesday in which tacos are half off and so are beers! We were seated outside and the first issue was definitely flies - we were being ATTACKED. Definitely put a bit of a damper on our meal. The appetizer tots were pretty good, I'm glad are waitress told us to put the goat cheese on the side as I think it would have overpowered the dish I thought the dish was a bit small to be a shareable also. The taco - brisket was just okay, I didn't love the fried pickle combination and the brisket was just okay. The taco salad was huge and definitely could probably be shared by two with some added protein.
google avatar

Ange R.

Yelp
Definitely try the guacamole while you wait for your food! Tasted fresh. Carne asada was very good. Ask for corn tortillas to go with it.
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
It was very loud with screaming children, I don't even remember the food, I just wanted out as soon as I could. If you have kids or like a place full of screaming kids maybe you will have a good time.
google avatar

Yale B.

Yelp
Great tacos. Kids had fun and loved the tots! Friendly staff! Loved sitting outside. Cool part of town to visit.

Lesley R.

Yelp
Had my birthday dinner here and it was great! Ive been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Food is always great and the staff is super friendly! I love the vibes here too, its a super cute place, definitely recommend!

Yelp
Cute Mexican place in Paseo. Sat on the patio, which was cozy with the heaters on. Excellent service with frequent chip refills. Got the burrito with chicken which had excellent flavor, especially topped with queso.

Cheryn K.

Yelp
First impression: Wonderful, bright, airy. And greeted by (our server) with such a cheery disposition. We'd never been here before (thanks, Yelp!) and so we ordered too much, lol! Started with Queso and yummy chips! Wonderful! My husband had the Flautas as an appetizer too, and they are so much larger than expected. 2 for I think $9 and definitely a meal in themselves. He may be back for more tomorrow! Entrees: Pescatarian here and they have good options. I had the sweet potato taco and it hit all the right notes for me! However, on the taco column on the menu you have a choice of one or 2 tacos. $6/$12. Clearly says 2 sides under 2 taco option. *Note* One taco doesn't come with 1 side. My taco was $6 and $4 for the black beans (yummy). If you order as a meal, highly recommend 2 tacos 20 sides for double the meal for $2. (A lot of 2's in that side note haha) because 1 taco no sides is a puny meal! He had 2 chicken tacos with beans and rice and said it was absolutely delicious and more food after the taqueria than he needed! Choosing next time he says, flautas for the win. Our service was flawless, and all in all this was a terrific Valentine's Day lunch!
google avatar

Sheila S.

Yelp
This place has the best tacos and drinks! I reached it to them during a time they were not open and they still answered and went out of their way to accommodate my event. The managers and the bar/waitstaff were all amazing! We had a great time and can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Abby O.

Yelp
Stopped in for an early dinner while just passing through town. This place has a get vibe and nice patio. As we were just driving through town, they were able to make me a fun off menu mock tail based on the flavors I was looking for. And man was the drink good. All of tacos were delicious but I would say the fish taco was my favorite. My mom also got the birria ramen and the street corn which were both hits.

Lemon T.

Yelp
Loves OSO Paseo but parking can be expensive ($9+ for an hour) if you are not able to find a free spot. OSO is dog friendly & has treats & water for your fur babies. Service and food are always good.
google avatar

Kasha F.

Yelp
Oso never disappoints! The food is delicious & the service is fast. I always order the Ahi Tuna Tostadas & and an Oso Margarita. We love sitting on the patio during spring, summer & fall & enjoying our food!
google avatar

Tiffany G.

Yelp
We came here during the paseo arts fest so it was packed but we made reservations and came back after about a 40 min wait. The vibes were good, the staff was friendly and informing. The place is clean and the portions are large. The taco salad was the biggest I've ever seen, if I had known how huge it was I would have split it with my husband but I ate as much as I could. The queso was excellent and came with bottomless chips so we devoured all of it. I wish there had been more liquid in my pina colada. It came in a cute coconut and it was strong and tasty but mostly ice so it left me wanting more. Would definitely come back here, they have 4 homemade hot sauces on the tables that are unique and it was fun to test them out.
google avatar

Robert D.

Yelp
The service was good and the food came out timely. The birria taco could have used more cheese but was very enjoyable. The burnt ends taco was great! Especially the fried pickles on top. They were perfect! I should ordered another. The only thing I didn't like was the rice. It was boring and bland. For dessert, we got churros which were pretty good. We had fun and loved the food!

Jana M.

Yelp
We had an exceptional experience at Oso Paseo! Our server, Emma, was very personable and she gave us great recommendations for our food. We had tacos, which were delicious! We were there for a late lunch. The atmosphere was calm, it was easy to talk while we were eating. Wish the restaurant was closer to where we live! Highly recommended!

Chelsea S.

Yelp
Crazy how I was removed from the waitlist when I was going to arrive on the time that was given to be when I joined the waitlist. I'm removed for not getting there before that timeframe. I'll spend my money elsewhere thanks
google avatar

Teresa L.

Yelp
We came for lunch. We sat on the patio. There is a heater for cool days so it was fine. Our server was nice and attentive. I tried two cocktails this time. They recently changed the menu so I forgot the name of the cocktails but I took pictures and they were delicious
google avatar

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
First time here while out and about for the Paseo District Art Festival. We were on a wait list about an hour which was ok because we had time to walk around and shop. Once inside, we were served within 5 minutes. Our server TJ ( TaNeisha) was super helpful and made sure our water was always full and checked on us consistently. The food was better than I expected. I wasn't sure what to think of this Mexican style taco restaurant. We had the Baja taco, the fried taco and fried avocado taco, Mexican street corn, slaw, rice, and beans. They bring out 4 sauces to your table and they are amazing. The prices were not outrageous. Kids under 10 have meals for $7 too. They don't offer military discount here. They have outdoor seating and Pink flamingo ( their sister restaurant) has drinks you can get while you wait outside too.
google avatar

Anitra T.

Yelp
Well...OSO is back in my good grace . I have continued to come in just as frequently as my previous review. The service and consistency has gotten a whole lot better. The taquitos and taco salad are still my favorites. The Smoke In Mirrors is still my jam. Perfect patio season or happy hour vibes.
google avatar

Richard C.

Yelp
I just love the vibe, the staff, and certainly the food. Tacos are generously made and two is plenty for a hearty appetite. I prefer bar seats where you can have great people watching both behind the bar and in the restaurant. The burnt ends and dish tacos are my favorites- I didn't much care for the crispy which has ground beef. My wife had the ahi tuna tostadas and they're delicious.
google avatar

Elizabeth U.

Yelp
Friday evening visit. It was crowded and there was a wait if you wanted a table, but I opted for the bar for self seating and quicker service. I went for one of the taco combos and ordered a carne asada and chicken taco. If I'm being quite honest, they're not the best tacos I've had, but they're okay. I've definitely had better elsewhere. I found the tacos to be extremely dry. It came with a side of fruit and Spanish rice. I'd rate it a 7/10 over all for the food. Cocktails-- delish! They have such unique drinks and they're really good. The bartender displayed great hospitality as well. It was a little difficult to have a conversation over the noise, so probably not the best place for a first date.
google avatar

Laney L.

Yelp
The food was pretty good. The chairs at the bar were comfy. We sat at the bar and the service was mediocre. ‍ the bartender didn't seem too interested in our experience until they dropped our checks off.....

Deniele J.

Yelp
We had a girl's night tonight and our waiter Valente was fantastic! He was knowledgeable and friendly and very personable.

Zada B.

Yelp
Amazing food. Amazing service. I like to sit outside. The staff is great and love to give recommendations. I recommend the Tuna Tostadas.

Yelp
OSO! ¿Qué pasa? This little spot was great; tucked away in the beautiful Paseo district, it gives you a fresh, delicious snack or meal (depending on how many you order)! Our server was great, introducing us to the menu and highlighting his favorite. A pitstop should be on your agenda when in the area.

Jaime

Yelp
Came here for the first time as part of a girl's night and the service was PHENOMENAL. Thank you, Valente, for making us feel like the only party in the restaurant, taking my food allergies seriously, and taking the best pictures of us. Truly an above and beyond experience.

Kyle ..

Yelp
The birria tacos are excellent and the queso had great flavor. We sat at the bar because it was so busy and we still had great service. It has a nice fun vibe to it in the Paseo district. We will be back.
