Ostras Pedrín Bonaire

Came across it when strolling street in the evening in old town. Small, but busy. We were lucky enough to get two places. Simple menu with great selection of oysters, seafood and smoked fish. We were served quickly and food was delicious. Our favourite was smoked anchovies, Gillardeau oysters and tempura Oysters.

It gets really busy and unless you are prepared to wait, I’d recommend making a reservation. If you are a fish and seafood lover, this is your place. Incredible dishes from cured fish and roe to delicious Galician oysters. The drink choice is excellent - we enjoyed cava, Albariño, and vermouth. Great service too!

The food is generally good; however, the service is not. It also leaves the impression that foreigners may not be particularly welcome. We had already ordered food worth well over €200 and informed the staff in advance that friends would be joining us at 3:00 p.m., even though the restaurant closes at 4:00 p.m. When our friends arrived as agreed, we were unexpectedly told that no further orders could be taken. At the same time, orders were still being accepted at the neighboring tables. I spoke with other guests, who could not understand why we, of all people, were no longer being served. This is not how guests should be treated. The way we were treated was extremely embarrassing and deeply upsetting.

Even though the interior of this bar almost looks like an abstract idea, it’s cozy, especially in the small “cave” in the back. They have different kinds of oysters and a selection of salted, canned and smoked fish and other seafood. Canned mussels were a new experience for me; I rather have fresh mussels (out of season at the moment) but the canned once had an interesting strong taste to them. Overall I had a good time at this bar, recommended!

Great oyster selection. Nice wine and beers lists. Probably not very comfortable seats (for the prices they ask) but the products are fresh and delicious. Fantastic.

Ostras Pedrín Bonaire is a must-visit for seafood fans in Valencia: cosy, welcoming, and an absolute standout for oysters and beyond.

Super cool place, trendy but worthwhile. The oysters were excellent, especially cooked, and the rest of the menu was simple but tasty. The vermouth de la casa was soooo good, and the wines were very solid for a steal. Busy place with a queue, but highly recommend, one of the highlights of our trip.

This oyster bar in Valencia is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for a wide selection of fresh oysters – they are truly excellent. However, don’t expect much beyond that. The rest of the food was disappointing, the beer didn’t taste fresh, and the space is very limited – you end up sitting almost on top of other guests. Come here for the oysters, which are absolutely worth it, but for anything else, I wouldn’t recommend it.
