There simply may not be a better fine dining experience at the beach quite like Our Harvest. From the interior decor with its beautifully appointed wooden beams and accents to the gorgeous decor and bar room, the interior designers went all out to capture the right elements that set the mood for a cozy and intimate experience, a perfect compliment for a date night or with a gathering of friends. Despite its presentation, Our Harvest does not feel stuffy, so feel free to dress with "casual class." If small plates aren't your thing, the family style food dishes will be enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Our table ordered just about everything, starting with the Devil's Pie, which tantalized with spicy sausage and chicken on a flatbread with pecorino, herbed ricotta, Castelvetrano olives, fried garlic, and Calabrian chili honey. Wow! Our dinner was no less impressive with a massive 40 oz. Tomahawk steak, Amish air chilled chicken (the chilling helps keep the chicken flavorful), and a vegetable platter that included broccoli and tonnato mayo, pecorino, brussel leaves with sticky sauce, peanuts, cilantro, and lime - and my favorite - the "Papa’s Philadelphia," which is crispy beef tallow roasted potatoes served with caramelized local mushrooms and aged provolone. The luxurious presentation of all these food items together was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. To finish, we had a variety of desserts, which included the Vegan Carrot Cake with toasted coconut, and warm beignets rolled in sugar with yuzu and white chocolate, pomegranate champagne, and butterscotch amaretto dipping sauces. Talk about good! You will not find a better meal in Ocean City or Fenwick, and dare I say much of the Delaware coastline. Definitely in my top picks for the summer! We plan on returning in a few months.
