Paco's Tacos

Paco's has gone down hill so badly we have no intention of returning unless my little grandson insists for his Birthday. Now, their food was never great, but it was good, the prices fair and the service excellent. Such is no longer the case. I would give them 2 stars but they sang Happy Birthday to my grandson so I am being overly kind. There were 5 of us. They brought one basket of chips. You want another, again 5 of us, you will be paying for that. You walk in the place and it is now very warm. It is not as clean as it used to be, but it is fine. The service was so slow and it was not peak dinner time, not that such would be an excuse. They got our order wrong and the food was not good, some of it was not something you would eat. But, my dog liked 240$ worth of food. First, they came to get our drink order and that was fine. Then we waited and waited and someone came to take our order. We all had expensive dishes and when they came they all looked the same. They were not, they were just a mess of food on a plate. We ordered a shrimp cocktail that is supposed to have ceviche in it. Look at the photo, it is mostly water. There were 3 little shrimp and more watery ceviche. My grandson was the only one who would eat it. The balance just sat. Our food came at the same time instead of the starters and then the meal. I can live with that if it were any good. My grandson is a Special Needs child and can handle zero stress, so I could not return my dish and it went home to the dog, most everyone's did. I was so very clear that I was highly allegoric to sour cream and none was to be on my chimichanga or anything else. I clearly said this and added, no sauce of any kind at all. Just make it plain. The plate had been sitting in the heat and all the sour cream had melted into the entire plate. They must love sour cream. The plate was such a mess and the chimichanga so small that I could not find it. I took a bite of the beans and there was sour cream under it and I thought I would vomit. I looked at the rest of it and none of it could be eaten. I sat there with a smile on my face for my grandson and not one staff member even asked if our food was okay. Not even when I had the entire meal put in a box, all of them. My husband had a steak dish that he asked for rare to medium rare. It was burnt. The dog liked that as well. The rice on all dishes was dry. The beans, the dog would not even eat. The one thing they have that is still good are their tortillas, that are made there. But it took forever to get them. The flan was fine. It took a long time to get the bill. They have raised their prices. I have had better food at the worst taco truck in town. What a waste of money. Four plates barely touched. My grandson did love the beans.

I've been coming here for 15+ years. The carne asada dinner plate will forever be my favorite. The meat is always cooked perfectly, the beans & rice amazing and the flour tortilla? one of the best. Service here is a hit or miss sometimes but more hits then miss.

Our favorite place to come as a family. Amazing food and staff. Always a pleasure to come!

Very authentic and clean place. The service is very nice. They cook the tortillas freshly in front of your eyes. Tortilla chips come as a hot treat, with salsa sauce, of course. We tried their buritto, it was very good. The portions are unbelievably large. Two people can share a burrito. Even we as big eaters couldn't finish it. I suggest you try it. There is also free parking.

A fave each time I visit from Sydney. I've been here numerous times, and although it's on the commercial side of Mexican food compared to the trucks, it's still bloody good and keeps me coming back. I talked about Paco's Tacos all the time in Australia. Nice one team!

The Manager said you eat the shrimp so wont take it off the Bill (My wife eat two of the 4 shrimp and i had one which i SPIT OUT) The shrimp was NASTY!! just NASTY!!! the worst $100 dollars i have spent on a meal in a very long time. DONT EAT the Shrimp unless you want to be sick as a dog!!! NASTY NASATY NASTY

Paco's Tacos has been around for a long time and their food is great. Their "homemade" flour tortillas are the best. Nice atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. You may have a little bit of a wait at peak times, but the wait is worth it.

Wow! I returned my Piña colada because it didn't taste good, I just didn't like it. I ordered a margarita instead. They brought the margarita in the smallest glass they had 🤣😳🙄 I guess that's a sign not to send anything back. The table next to me had a Margarita on a tall glass but I guess they knew her because they were very friendly to her. The food was great so i cant complaint about that.

Shredded beef tacos with the best shell, enchiladas are cheesy and delicious, if you like a good spicy salsa (they also have a fabulous mild salsa), guacamole is delicious with the best homemade chips. Margaritas are spirit forward. Saving arguably the best part is Ambiance, the decor is elite. Service is always A+.

Great food great service. Been going there for as long as I can remember. For a sit-down restaurant, the food is made fresh and comes out quickly. If you're hungry and timing is of the essence, Paco's is for you.

Was told today that I could not have a second basket of chips unless I wanted to pay up. Food is still tasty, but I'm deducting 2 stars for this new policy. Sadness! :(

I've been going to Paco's for over 15 years, yes, they have some meals where the quality isn't as good as others. Consistency is one of the hardest attributes for restaurants to get right. However, in most cases, Paco's is delicious 85% of the time. The staff here is always friendly and on their game. The shredded beef is quite delicious here too. And the quality of the beef in chicken proteins is excellent. The abuelas make handmade tortillas daily.. The prices have jumped up over the last few years, but we all know who is the blame for that. If there is a negative, is the furniture needs a refresh... Especially the chairs. If you're on the west side, this is the place to go for your Tex-Mex.

Okay this review is like ridiculously way lonnnnng overdue. We have been coming to Pacos for over 34 years! Yes, before we were married, before we had kids and before the grandkid. What's not to love about Pacos... besides the same friendly familiar people that have been working there since forever. And of course the comforting Mexican food that you've come to know, crave and love. Hard to find that authentic rice that my grandma used to make, but Pacos does not disappoint! When you're greeted by Oscar who knows you, you're off to a great start. Many milestone/family celebrations(and Margaritas)were had here back in the day. Even though we don't live in the area anymore, we can sure find any excuse to come to Pacos! And don't worry about the calories, you can walk off that big meal on your mile journey back to your car.

It's tough to rate Pacos. I mean, their food is great and portions are huge. Their customer service skills are so poor. Waiting for a table is cramped and uncomfortable. They won't serve drinks while you wait and the wait is long. Their employees are impatient, almost rude when taking your order. They could squeeze in a dozen more tables if they got rid of the huge chairs but I don't think they even care. Extra stars for their homemade tortillas.

I've been coming to Paco Tacos for decades ... today we are told if you want more chips it's $2.00!!!! The issue isn't the charge!! When they first brought out the first basket of chips it was sprinkle in the basket!!!! WTF!!! I am over patronizing these establishments and watching them not be consistent!! Also!! Just an overall disappointment.. our food was so bland and tasteless!! Consistency!! Consistency!! Consistency is key!!!! And that will keep your customers satisfied and coming back!!! Please don't use cheaper products to save a buck and then your food doesn't have any taste...

The food was amazing and fresh, you can taste the authenticity. The food is for sure up there, its not the best I had but for sure in the top 15 favorites. The staff is on top of their job even when busy.

I moved out of town 2 years ago and while visiting LA for a few days I met 3 friends at Paco's Tacos on Centinella for lunch today. I was so excited to revisit this restaurant where I have eaten many times over the last 45 years. It felt really good walking in and meeting my friends there. The Christmas decorations where up and it felt very festive. It happened to be one of my friends' birthday, so at one time during lunch I mentioned it to the waiter. He didn't respond and walked away, so a while later as we were finishing our lunch another one of my friends mentioned it again to the same waiter. We were happy to see him return with a small flan and a candle on it. We all sang happy birthday to the birthday girl, and a couple of the staff joined in. When we received the check, a charge of $8.50 had been added to it. I was quite shocked to see that. Over the years my experience has been that often when someone's birthday is mentioned in a restaurant, a complimentary dessert is brought up to the table. Some restaurants might choose not to do that, but they let you know, and that's ok. Had we known that we would be charged, we would have at least asked for a menu, or asked the waiter about the dessert options so that we could make a choice. I found this quite disappointing and a bad business choice. I would have brought up this issue to the waiter himself, or to the manager, but I didn't want to be making my friends uncomfortable, and I especially didn't want to spoil a birthday celebration. However, I want to share this experience with the community so that others might be aware of it. When you've been supporting a neighborhood restaurant for years and you are treated that way, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. It's too bad. I probably will not be returning to that Paco's Tacos location or maybe not even to the one on Manchester. Fortunately there are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles and hopefully they have better business sense that this one.

My family has been going to this restaurant since it was open. Three generations and it's still our favorite Mexican place. I have so many good memories here. The food never disappoints from the fresh tortillas to the salsa to the carne. You can't really go wrong here. I love the shredded beef enchilada, you can't go wrong there. Service is always kind and attentive. Everyone here are seasoned professionals and you can tell by the way they handle the rushes. Ambiance is like you're at someone's home the way it is so warm and everyone is talking and happy.

There are a few Paco's, but this one is the best. We have been so many times and every time it is great. It can get crowded, very crowded, and I don't know if they take reservations so call them or go during off hours. They are open for lunch and dinner. Parking is on the street or their small lot. Look for a place on the street, but mind the signs. It is cute outside, and inside is always decorated with something. It is not beautiful, it is adorable with comfortable booths and tables. They have a full bar and their tortillas are always hand made for you. They are the best. Get them. Put butter on them. Eat them. The service is great. They are fast and at the same time super friendly and kind. They speak both English and Spanish. It is the best way to celebrate something. We came for our grandson's Birthday and they gave him flan and the women sang Happy Birthday to him. He loved it. He picked out this place for his Birthday dinner. He was treated so great by everyone. But he always is. This is just a super nice place to go to and relax. They also have a TV, but I never watch it, I assume it is sports. The food is great, all of it. We had chips and guacamole which was so good. We then ordered a combination plate with rice and beans (YUM) and chicken and cheese enchiladas. We also had their great soft beef tacos and a salad and the best Tostada. It is a full meal, my daughter had to take some home. We had flan and great virgin drinks. You will love this place. It is a must stop in Los Angeles.

If nothing else, go and check out the ambience because there is so much to look at inside that you will have an enjoyable experience. My gorgeous companion had the chicken burrito and it was huge. It will easily last her three meals. It was very good and the chicken was very tasty because I also had a chicken enchilada. I also had a Carne Asada taco and was somewhat disappointed that like most other places around, the Carne Asada is basically just steak , they need to go to San Diego to learn what Carne Asada is Chips and salsa were very good, and they also brought out some homemade tortillas that were amazing. They make them right there in front of everyone. Service was excellent, and the food came out in like five minutes we were shocked. Parking is definitely a challenge. I think we will go back at some point, but there are so many other Mexican food places in the area to try first.

You can never go wrong with the Mexican food here. Somewhat biased given, I was born and raised in this area and have been coming here since I can remember. Everything from the homemade flour tortillas made right then and there by the always smiling delightful lady who I always tip on my way out, to my absolute, favorite crunchy taco, to a carafe of margaritas on the rocks, it will always be consistently delicious and never disappoints. If you're new to this place, I recommend the super Mex burrito with chunky pork or beef, just be aware it's as big as my Chihuahua. Some of my other favorites are, their soft Carnitas tacos, steak Tampiqueno with an enchilada on the side, No matter what you get make sure that you get an order of beans. I'm sure full of lard, but you're not going there cause you're on a diet. And you can always count on the festive decorations, which are always aligned with whatever holiday is near. I love that they kept the outdoor seating in the back but being inside is always so comfy and cozy and reminds me of being in the kitchen with my grandparents on a Sunday morning having breakfast. Their breakfast is also great. Machaca and eggs or your basic huevos rancheros are delicious.

I'm sad to say this place isn't what it used to be. I use frequent this place with colleagues, maybe it was more so the commodore than the food then? I'm Having a hard time believing if the recipes were authentic, fresh and homemade that time could alter. I ordered the salsa verde plate. So bland. I make a better salsa verde and I'm no chef and not of Latino decent whatsoever (to be blessed with them authentic hands) I was really bummed. I don't come down to LA much anymore , so I wanted to take my boyfriend to a place I knew that was really good. Best part was the homemade tortillas. That didn't disappoint. My boyfriend's burrito was filled with lettuce, barely any meat. It took awhile for a waiter to take our order after being seated and it wasn't crowded. I was trying to catch eyes to flag someone , no win. When we did get out order taken, the food came out in a blink! Reminded me of yucky Roscoe's where everything seems pre made and is just sitting all day til ordered. Chips and salsa were basic and not homemade, just overall not good. We didn't 80 bucks for 2 people (included 2 margaritas) .

I've been coming here since I was little and the only thing that has changed is the prices haha, I wish the supermex burrito was cheaper along with a lot of the menu but unfortunately it is what it is. My favorite thing about Paco's is that they are always decorating for the holidays even with all the decorations that they have up already. The servers are always nice and helpful and always check in. If I'm craving a big burrito my mom always says let go to pacos tacos and we order the supermex burritos!

My daughter, who is seven now, and I have been coming to Paco's Tacos since she was born. The enchiladas, tacos, beans and salsa are excellent, and very well priced. Paco's Tacos embodies, in every possible way, the spirit of a family restaurant. The servers and staff have watched my daughter grow up, and have shown us the highest degree of hospitality, kindness, and efficiency, each and every time we have come to visit. It is a place where we go and cannot help but leave happy and well fed. The interior of the restaurant, which at first to me seemed eclectic and cluttered, has over the years inspired wonder and fascination in my daughter, who loves to sit by the salt water fish tanks, and who excitedly talks about the restaurant's seasonal decorations. We love the food, and would come only for that reason, but the exceptional service and kindness we've been shown has made Paco's Tacos a place that, as a father, I had always hoped to find: a place to be happy with the people I love.

Good food, good service, good music and strong margaritas. What more can you ask for ?? Got a carne asada wet burrito and it's a good size to share with a friend. A must try if you're craving authentic Mexican food.

If you HAVEN'T been here, you are missing out! Hands down the best chips, salsa, flour tortillas, TACOS and margaritas around. Christmas here is an added bonus. You need to add Pavo's to your regular rotation. It's the best!

Overall I give this place an 83 out of 100. I've probably dined in one or ordered takeout here a total of three times over the last 20 years compared to the dozens of times I've been to their location on Manchester . The last time I was here was probably 13 years ago. One reason I seldomly visit this location is because in my humble opinion it is not as good as the one on Manchester.. it's crazy how dissimilar all of the items are except for the flour tortillas. In terms of the differences, I would say the hard shell tacos aren't as crunchy. Moreover there's less meat and cheese within their tacos. The meat, ( shredded beef ) refried beans and rice also aren't as flavorful and their location on Manchester. It's as if they use vegetable stock for their beans and rice where as the other location is using chicken stock ( which is less healthy but standard / more authentic ) . Their salsa is also about half as spicy as the location on Manchester . In general, this place is definitely more closer to El Torito than to their sister location in my humble opinion and maybe for you if you love closer , want to be slightly healthier ( need to watch your sodium) in take and or can't handle spice . 3.25 stars for the food . I'm adding a bonus .75 stars because ordering and picking were super convenient. I literally placed my order when I was in traffic at rose and centinenela ( Bundy ) heading south and was able to pick up my food within five minutes, which was exactly the time it took to arrive there in traffic.

Does anyone remember the small window on the south facing wall of Paco's? The restaurant was fairly new, and those of us who lived in the area could walk up to that window and purchase a tiny bag of chips complete with a mini plastic container of salsa for a whopping 10cents. My friends and I would visit that window almost every day - usually on rollerskates because the extra height made it much easier to transact. This window was removed decades ago, but the memories are as fresh as their delicious house made tortilla chips they still make today. Kudos to the manager at this location - the food here is delicious as I remember it was back in my rollerskate days. Fresh house made corn and flour tortillas, salsa, and a menu packed full of options, even back then. Seafood too, the Oaxaca is a family favorite, as is the Coctel de Camaron, one or both are ordered almost every visit. We specifically dined here because the Westchester location has gone rogue and is no longer serving their delicious house made tortilla chips. It's a shame because that location has much better parking, is bigger, and it's closer to home. Seems the pandemic may have paved the way for unpopular decisions, including not re-opening the bar area...and those blasted chips are gawd awful. Thankfully, this location still serves them up fresh and hot, and you know what? The food just might be a few times better than the other location. Margs here are a bit smaller, but the give and take is worth it if you're an OG Paco's fan. Keep on keeping on Paco's...we'll be back to enjoy every bite and sip. Salud!

I've never met Paco. But I like his tacos. It's difficult to discern the vegetarian options on the menu. BUT, they de-meat their offerings if I ask. I really like the food and service. It is a very pleasant experience. They make tortillas which are a family favorite. Paco's doesn't need my help getting in a crowd. It appears very popular. However, even if the place is packed, you don't feel surrounded by patrons or rushed by servers.

If you love "Authentic Mexican Food " I am so sorry to say this is not the place. The only authentic bite was the hand - made tortillas as well as yummy ships and salsa. I ordered a combination plate with a cheese quesadilla and tamale. The enchilada sauce is definitely not authentic and probably contains canned ingredients. As for the tamales they are not fresh and probably a frozen tamale that got warmed and had dry meat and overall no flavor. I also tried the blended melon margarita. It tasted artificial and sweet. So I then instead also ordered a regular margarita. The margarita was made with store bought Margarita Mix on ice and the tequila shot on the side. Nothing about the drinks here was impressive. My boyfriend ordered a burrito and he loves his burritos but in his opinion this was one of the worst he has tried. Overall, the service and ambiance was great! The food however, was not worth it and I think I'm mostly disappointed because the reviews looked very promising and authentic.

I have not been to Paco's Tacos for approximately 30 years since I coached soccer in Culver City and had my awards banquet at Pacos. Three of us went before attending the UCLA - USC basketball game at an odd hour of 4:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon, yet it was packed. We got seated fairly quickly and attended to by a very friendly server who made sure that what I ordered was gluten-free. While Mexican food is the easiest cuisine for me to eat since it consists mostly of corn, rice and meat/fish, you have to be very careful of the Ranchera sauce they put on Enchiladas because most Mexican restaurants put flour in their enchilada sauce. She gratefully pointed this out to me and we were able to change out the enchilada sauce on my chicken enchilada. I had a melon margarita on the rocks to begin, which was very tasty and the house tortilla chips were fresh and crunchy. I ordered the combo plate of a cochinita pibil taco, chicken enchilada and double rice. The Enchilada was good and moist while the winner was the very excellent cochinita pibil taco that was filled with the marinated meaty pork, a specialty of the Yucatán. Although there was a lot of food and I had devoured a number of chips with the slightly spicy salsa, I managed to almost finish everything on my plate. Well done Paco and I won't wait another 30 years before returning to this Mexican oasis with the aquarium that was featured in a scene in the film Jerry Maguire. You had me at Paco!

My family and I have been coming here since the 90s. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. Their salsa is to die for, perfectly spicy and very smooth. Don't leave without trying their flour tortillas!!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Los Angeles. I grew up with this restaurant and its food. #6 chicken enchilada and shredded beef taco with freshly made flour tortillas! Yummy! Love the friendly staff and efficiency of the service.

I came twice in one week because of those fresh tortillas. FOOD-- First visit I got a combo plate (taco & enchilada). The second time I got Paco's Choice. Portions are HUGE. Salsa has a kick. Tortillas and chips are both made in-house. I think the carne asada lacks flavor and I wasn't a big fan of the shredded beef either. I preferred the flavor of the shredded chicken and carne adobada. The flour tortillas are 10x better than the corn. The horchata is great. SERVICE-- The service is friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. Wait times for dinner on a Friday around 7 was ~25 mins. When I came for lunch we beat the rush and there was no wait, but the place quickly filled and it was Tuesday. THE VIBE-- It's dark, but not moody in a romantic kind of way. There's fish tanks and tons of decor items hanging from the walls and ceilings. I feel like I stepped into a stereotypical little fish shack off the beach in San Diego. But it works for them.

Old school like your abuela is in the kitchen. Been going here for 30 years and it is always consultant and delicious. Nothing fancy just good food. The Cadillac margaritas are strong!

We had family in town and had not visited Paco's in quite some time. It was Father's Day and we took a chance and drove down to have dinner. Paco's did not disappoint! The food and drink are still as good as I remember and the service was great!

My New York family arrived today and immediately wanted Mexican food for lunch. I thought that was too heavy for post six hour flight and that we could go there for dinner. We went at 6:30 and waited a short amount of time before we were seated... Tonight they were decorated for Cinco de Mayo. Oh what joy walking in and seeing the lovely women making handmade tortillas! Of course the girls filled up on chips and I warned them that they wouldn't be able to eat, but you can't tell hungry people of a certain age to not eat chips... I know better and yes, they came out warm and crispy. We polished off a large guacamole before our suppers arrived ;) And yes, no one could finish their food. The service is always congenial. The vibe is old-school Mexican and my family enjoyed it immensely... I try when my girls come to visit to not offer them food that they can get in New York City home of every kind of food in the world. However, everyone agreed this was amazing and they were so happy! Quesadillas, tacos and calamari steak ( my favorite) unfortunately Calamari Mazatlan was not available and I enjoyed my entrée, but it was not as good as the aforementioned. And who am I kidding? I filled up on guacamole and chips. We had a delightful time and that's what's most important making memories at such a memorable restaurant. It still remains to be one of my favorites and I highly recommend it ... and the vibe is fun! Parking can be a challenge... we lucked out as someone was leaving as we were pulling into the street. We call that a Kojak spot like in the old Telly Savalas show where he always found a great parking spot right in front of the crime! 5 tacos and a bag of tortilla chips! ;)))

Great food and the pitchers of margaritas make this spot even better. The wait can get quite lengthy but it moves quickly. The only problem is when you are the ones dining they do rush you along and that means quick service to start but not much service after you get the food. Which can be good- like leave me alone I'm eating but also how do I get another margarita?! The flour tortillas are amazing but beware (not vegan). This spot is definitely in my top 3 Mexican restaurant because the food is great. They have all the classic dishes. Love the blended salsas. 10/10

Place was super packed when we got there. Had about a 20 minute wait. We chilled in the waiting area with a couple other families. Seemed to turnover tables pretty quickly and seat everyone accordingly. Lots of items adorning the walls painting everywhere some taxidermy as well. Kinda kitschy but def set the tone of OG Mexican restaurant. Chios and salsa are very good lightly fired tortilla chips and dank salsa with a bit of a kick. Got seated in the corner next to an aquarium and the service bar area. Meseros moving around quickly taking care of all their tables. I ordered the two taco plate they let me have one of carnitas and one of Cochinita pibil. The carnitas was a little dry but had some fresh pico de gallo on two thick tortillas enveloped the meat but started to fall apart as I ate it. The Cochinita was also dual wrapped but was just meat and a red sauce. Was expecting a little bit of onions, lettuce or cilantro but they came as is. Beans and rice on the side. Food was piping hot when it arrived almost burned my mouth I was so eager to eat. Paired it with a Pacifico and had a couple sips while watching the fish dance. Can def taste the freshness of the tortillas and can see the lady making them by hand. Parking is nonexistent so prepare to walk a block or two. Have someone arrive early and write your name down I dont think they take reservations

The best carne asada I've ever eaten. Their chili relleno is amazing. I love everything they have there and will continue to go until the day I die. Oscar, a family member breast me by name and their whole staff is like family. They, Paco's is the jewel of the neighborhood. I've been going for over 40 years and I've tried others, but I can't compare any others to the hospitality, service and food of Paco's. The only other Mexican restaurant I go to also is called Gilbert's, El Indio in Santa Monica. Paco's and Gilbert's are family related, but completely different. Both, top shelf and outstanding food and People that work there. See you all soon. Thank you for all the great meals!!!

Fun decor! Friendly and quick service! And the food is delicious! Great portions. AND homemade tortillas. I got the chicken burrito with no cheese. It was filling and soooooo yummy!!

Great Food, Quick Service and attentive staff. Went here with my daughters and friends. Parking kinda scarce at peak times but worth the walk.

Let me start off by saying this location is completely different in taste than the Westchester location. This one is wayyyyy better. Definitely taste more authentic. I ordered the shredded beef enchiladas and the shredded beef crunchy taco and both were really good. The order comes with rice and beans. They serve you chips and salsa when you're first seated and the salsa is delicious. My husbands family has been coming here for years. Most of the staff knows them and they're always so nice to us. Plenty of seating and were seated right away on a Tuesday around 5pm. Street parking can be hard to find but just have to drive a bit out.

If I can give this place ten stars I would ! Pacos Tacos burrito is more than amazing, wonderful fusion of flavors all in this home made flour tortilla. The burrito is generously filled and topped with melted cheese and fresh avocado slices. Their asada platter is equally amazing and juicy. The carne asada served with perfectly flavorful rice and beans. The restaurant's commitment to flavor and quality is evident, I've been coming here for years and it never fails.

Simply the best flour tortillas on the planet! I dare you to tell me they aren't. This was a regular meal when I lived in LA and now it's always a mandatory stop when we visit. Solid margaritas and great food. The salsa is fantastic! This place is one of my favorite LA hidden gems.

This was a place I went to after returning to LA from college. It has gotten very expensive (everything has though) and service is meh. The tostada was good but not a ton of flavor in the mole sauce. My dinner mates each got burritos and were underwhelmed. The homemade tortillas were absolutely the best part of the meal

Been coming here since I was a toddler, I'm almost 30. Loved it then, love it now! I love getting their two enchiladas de pollo combo plate with rice and beans. Fresh made tortillas and their frozen alcoholic drinks are delicious! The ambience is dark and romantic. Great service always!

There tortillas make up for any complaints you might have. I love this place ! Beans and rice is great too

I only go there for the fresh handmade flour tortillas to be honest. Food is okay. Service is fine and the ambiance is nice. Hard to find parking even on a weekdays.

This is a fun Mexican- American restaurant with delicious food, busy family atmosphere with great service. It is a bit vintage- mid century with aquariums and artwork to bring back childhood memories . Parking is too small but you can either park on busy Centinela or the side streets (politely)- I liked the tostada. Friends got burritos. you get chips and salsa. it's not dressy or fancy. It's fun and casual so go and relax and enjoy.

Food was great and good. Hit the spot. Had the supermex burrito - Carne Asada. The meat was charred nicely.

Excellent food and really great service! The parking can be a challenge but it's well worth it
