"There are many reasons John Sundstrom’s Capitol Hill pizzeria ranks as one of the best in the city. Sundstrom has found the perfect balance between New York and Neapolitan, making pies that are just on the practical side of floppy, holding their ingredients well. The Featherweight, featuring smoked mozzarella, roasted garlic, parmesan, and white sauce, is a good place to start on a first visit, as are the boozy slushies." - Megan Hill

I've been having Palermo's deliver pizza to my apartment for over a year. Always good crust its big puffy edges are nice and crisp, and the delicious toppings are always spot on but I got a Palermo's special delivered and it tasted like something had changed. The crust was not even close to what I've always received, it was droopy and almost partially cooked. The edges were tiny and wrinkled. It had a doughy center as the crust seemed thicker than normal and I always get traditional. It didn't even look the same ..The top was overloaded with tons of tomato sauce and canned green peppers. I had two pieces and for the first time ever the rest I will not eat. It almost tastes like it came from a completely different restaurant. I am hoping this was a one time thing. Always the best pizza on the hill always consistent and always fresh and delicious but this time something was off. Pizza with two pieces missing I just received. The other pie is from three weeks ago..

I had the pleasure of eating here on a late Friday afternoon. It’s Seattle so parking can be a little tricky but it’s worth it! This is a really cute date place! The setting is rather intimate especially the window seats. I was warmly greeted by my server and shown my cozy window seat. I had a great view of the people walking their dogs by. The menu is extensive with a large offerings of pastas and pizzas along with things like sandwiches, calzones, etc. my server was very kind and prompt. I ordered the tortellini which was ravioli stuffed with seafood in an amazing light sauce. It was so good. The bread was good too. The bill came out to $32 with tax and tip and was worth every penny. I noticed a lot of regulars there as well. I recommend this place for Italian food lovers and couples on a date night.

This place has truly mastered the art of pizza. The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce is rich and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and generously portioned. Every bite feels like it was made with care and passion. It’s clear that this isn’t just a pizza place—it’s an experience. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff treats you like family. Honestly, it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had, and I’ll keep coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Reminds me of my childhood in NJ where we’d have all these great Italian places with large menus and consistent quality no matter what we decided on. The food was great and the prices felt reasonable. The friendly staff makes for an environment where you can feel comfortable eating in. Bonus for having their own delivery! 🏃‍♂️💨

Palermo is nice neighborhood family restaurant where me and my partner go for lunch for special occasions. My husband loves the pasta with pesto while I enjoy the Greek salad and the bruschetta accompanied with nice wine. And dessert, yummy 😋

Very polite and cute little setup inside and my little 10-in pizza for 20 bucks was worth every single bite. I had to crispy pepperoni and it was fabulous you could eat all of the pressed on the pizza and it was not burnt. Anyways it's worth it have fun enjoy

Great food both times that we have been there. Huge portions though so if a half size option is offered go for it! The caesar salad was better than the sicilian one but didn't have anchovies even as an option.

PLEASE COME HERE!! Their service is absolutely amazing. Good portions, the half sandwich seemed like a full sandwich with how big it was.
