Amazing dining experience! What a great way to enjoy Southern Mindanao cuisine. Everything was delicious with layers and layers of interesting flavours. A must-try if you are after authentic regional Philippine cuisine.

I have wanted to try this place for some time. The dishes are unique and very flavourful. They use quite a lot of spice and so it is good to go with rice. Nothing was super spicy and it is good for the taste of most. I find the bubuk rice interesting : with brown sugar sweet and dried fish taste. Overall it was a great experience. Next time I will try the bone marrow as I saw everyone ordered it.

I ordered their Dulang Share good for 5 pax. The viands included in the set are: Tiyula Itum, Chicken Pianggang, Chicken Belachan, Beef Kurma, and Kaliya Puso. The portions are a lot so just order extra carbs: turmeric rice or pita bread which can be dipped in the beef kurma sauce. The Knicker Fruit Halo-Halo is also a must try. All the food tasted good. Recommend this place!

Yes, I found a legit restaurant serving South Mindanao cuisine! When I was in Zamboanga, Sulu, and Basilan, chicken piyanggang and tiyula itum were my go to dishes. I spent my birthday lunch here, and It's the same exact flavor and taste profile here at Palm Grill, authentic it is. The only thing I wish is they add more sauce on that piyanggang dish. It's so good that my mom really liked it. Definitely will be going back. The staff are nice and attentive. Parking is available. The downside is they have unreliable credit card terminals, so prepare your cash or bank apps. Given their price point, I hope they sort this one out.

It is difficult to find the food here anywhere else! Food is absolutely unique for something that is considered Filipino cuisine. I had a great meal, but I can imagine it'd be better with a friend! The ice cream on the halo-halo starts off very sweet, but once you can get to the sour mango at the bottom, the taste will balance out well! The ambience includes very authentic decorations. Even the tablecloth has a traditional pattern. The lights were too bright for me, so it was a bit distracting. Service was really good. Staff can recommend meals and they even ask for feedback. Other than the very bright lights, I had a great meal overall!

Great flavors! We went with the server's suggestion of getting the sampler order kasi you get a little bit of everything. My fave was the itum soup (black beef soup) and we went with the spicy option. I also enjoyed the puso ng saging dish and the turmeric rice. It's a unique resto among a sea of options along Tomas Morato so it's a must-visit. Would love to come back again and will make sure I have enough tummy space for dessert :)

✨ A hidden gem in Tomas Morato you must try! ✨ Just visited Palm Grill for a taste of authentic Mindanaoan cuisine, and it did not disappoint! The place feels cozy, and the staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel at home while you explore the rich flavors of Mindanao. We tried their bestsellers: 🍗 Pyanggang Manok (Black Chicken) – tender, smoky, and full of deep coconut and spice flavors 🥣 Tiyula Itum – a comforting beef stew made with burnt coconut, so rich and unique, perfect with rice 🍢 Satti – delicious, mildly spicy skewers with peanut sauce that remind you of Zamboanga mornings 🍛 Chicken Piyaparan – creamy, coconutty, with just the right hint of turmeric Every dish tells a story, and you can truly feel the love they put into preparing these Mindanaoan classics. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you leave feeling satisfied and grateful for the experience. It’s perfect for family lunch, a dinner date, or foodie catch-ups with friends who want to explore regional Filipino cuisine without leaving the city. Highly recommend Palm Grill if you want to discover the flavors of Mindanao right here in Quezon City. Can’t wait to come back!

The food is really good. the curry tastes like the tagalog curry but 10 times tastier. The Tiyula Itum soup is 💯 an authentic taste of the mindanao dish. However, please note that the waiting time here is at least 50 minutes, so if you're really hungry, this might not be the suggested restaurant.
