Inside the Just-Opened Palm House, a Quintessentially Palm Beach Hotel | Vogue

"Freshly opened on Royal Palm Way, this 79-room hotel—Palm Beach’s first new opening in four years—revives a 1960s property once nicknamed “the heart of Palm Beach” that sat shuttered for years, now reborn after a major renovation begun in 2019 by Iconic Luxury Hotels with Cooper Carry. Passing the rose-hued façade, I’m greeted by a sprawling seashell installation by local artist Christa Wilm and a hand-blown coral Murano glass chandelier; as art consultant Minda Dowling says, “It has this almost ethereal quality that feels like stepping into The Little Mermaid—but make it couture, like something out of a Schiaparelli dream... It’s bold, whimsical and undeniably Palm Beach.” Muza Lab reimagines the island’s iconic pinks and greens into interiors that feel both nostalgic and refreshingly modern, and the lobby is intentionally animated like a bustling restaurant that practically invites me to settle in for a cocktail." - Lilah Ramzi

Palm House (Palm Beach, Florida) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"After sitting vacant for nearly two decades on a prime piece of oceanfront real estate, a landmark hotel in Palm Beach underwent extensive renovations and reopened as Palm House. Many of this Mediterranean-style property’s best features were preserved, from the coral-hued facade to the elegant pool deck framed by palm trees in the central courtyard. But as the first property to open in the US as part of the London-based L+R Hotels’ Iconic Luxury Hotels collection, it's been updated accordingly. Refreshed rooms are bright and cheerful with sixties-inspired decor — decorative mirrored wall panels, mod table lamps, king-sized beds with retro-looking upholstered headboards, Juliet balconies, and huge marble bathrooms with soaking tubs. Suites are palatial with curving modular sofas and Art Deco details; one has an Alaskan king bed rumored to be the largest in town. The fanciful Palm bar, with glamorous pink Murano glass chandeliers suspended from high vaulting ceilings, is worth the trip on its own." - Tablet Hotels

Coming from Southeast Asian hospitality, where care is sacred, and having experienced hotels in Central Miami, I wasn’t expecting much here. But the Palm House completely changed my view of what a stay can be. I stayed here for a good 8 days, and every single day was a testament to thoughtful, attentive hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for. Louisanne greets you with a warm smile, gives you a tour of your room, and explains everything—setting the tone for your entire stay. Jackson is always there with thoughtful recommendations, helping you curate your day in the best way. When my card didn’t work, Jackson instantly resolved it and made my check-in smooth and effortless—showing that customer care here matters more than anything transactional or structural. Tugay is always there as a grounded, silent presence. Whenever you see him, you feel at home, knowing that everything is taken care of. He’s a true gentleman, with impeccable manners, never intrusive, yet always ready to hold space or assist in whatever you need. The beach attendant is also attentive, making your time by the water feel effortless and cared for. Wherever you sit, a staff member comes by to offer you water, making every moment feel considered. The interiors are lush, comfortable, subtle, and calm. I felt my feminine side was well taken care of through the thoughtful selection of textures, colors, and details. The Palm House also makes exploring the neighborhood a delight—you can take the in-house car or grab a bicycle to roam around, which adds a personal, thoughtful touch to your stay. Every detail, every interaction, every corner reflects thoughtfulness and warmth. If you’re looking for a commercial big-chain hotel, this is not the place. But if you want a hideout—not just any hideout, but one with selective people, a true feeling of home, and comforting, homely luxury—then come here.

This place has very shady billing practices in my experience. The staff is not that friendly for the price point and 5 stars, we had to carry our luggage a few times, we moved room after first night to a nicer room and nobody helped us. But the really bad part is when they billed my card suddenly at 2 am for 700 usd the day before I left while my whole reservation was already paid for upfront and in advance. They claimed they couldnt find the charge and my amex platinum was wrong (lol) then eventually found it by a miracle in the morning and said it would be dropped, which it was thankfully. Upon checking out I made sure nothing else would be billed since I was worried after the 700, they assured me I owed them nothing and nothing would be billed to my card any further. I asked two statements printed, which they gave me. I also asked an email which they never sent me (very strange). Fast forward a week later, I get a charge for a restaurant. Who keeps clients cards on file so long after check out? Who are they to bill my amex after telling me I owed them zero and everything was fine and cleared out? This is straight up fraudulent. Never happened to me and Ive stayed all over the world. When I called to confront them sent me through a loop to email management, why do I have to do this more than one week after check out with a balance of 0?!? Beware and check your credit card statements staying at this place!!!!

I’m basing this review purely on our room situation. We were placed in room 101, if this ever happens to you, decline immediately and insist on a different room placement! We are the closest to the lobby and restaurant which simply means we have spent our stay without one wink of sleep! We can hear EVERYTHING happening in the lobby and dining room. We can also hear EVERYTHING happening above and beside us. The constant noise has ruined our stay and the relaxation portion of our trip is non existent. No one has offered a solution or offered us anything in return for our experience. While this hotel claims to be a “Luxury property “. I have found nothing luxurious about our stay aside from maybe the pretty decor. We absolutely love Palm Beach but we will never stay here again when there are so many other options at a similar price point that offer incredible amenities and service. We are insanely disappointed with this property.

We absolutely loved the beautiful decor of this hotel and the extremely convenient location. The pool is beautiful and so was our room. The bedding was so so comfortable! We also loved the giant soaking tub in our bathroom. We really enjoyed the driver who would take us to any island locations. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

Megan was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. She knew the menu inside and out and gave great recommendations that we ended up loving. Drinks came out quickly, and she checked in just the right amount — not too much, not too little. Her friendly energy really added to the whole dining experience.

Gorgeous in every detail! Staff was incredibly accommodating, though we arrived much earlier than check-in. The beach set-up was wonderful, the pool was beautiful and not crowded. The room was clean and spacious. All staff members were kind and gracious. I can't wait to come back!

Our stay at the Palm House exceeded our expectations in all ways!|The staff was friendly, professional and always ready to accommodate any needs.|The hotel is beautiful and all services we received were excellent. The short distance transportation was also a huge plus and appreciated. When you go to Palm Beach, I highly recommend that you stay at this hotel which in my opinion defines excellence!

Yelp
Dining room is just like being at Nobu. All the favorites are here: yellowtail jalapeño, black cod, crispy rice, tiradito, sashimi salad, new style sashimi. Never forget the "bento box" molten chocolate cake! Great food, wonderful service in a very Palm Beach decor. Complimentary valet parking at hotel.

Yelp
Stayed shortly after the property opened and they weren't quite ready for prime time. There were issues with construction, fire alarms, hot water, no elevators. They did the best they could to accommodate me, which I appreciated very much, but no hot water is a dealbreaker. I'm sure this will all be resolved by the time others stay. This was offset by the very friendly and gracious staff, stunning decor, beautiful rooms and patios, and the impressive restaurant and bar. The rooms are comfortable but suggest splurging for the patio. The regular room felt cramped. The bathrooms are beautiful but the makeup mirror was useless. The bar and lobby area is gorgeous. Must go! Drinks are delicious. Not crazy about the dining concept but service was top notch and food was beautifully presented. Location can't be beat and another kudos to the staff, especially valet and bar. After construction ends, I'm sure this will be a 5 star resort.

Yelp
This was our first (and last) time. We eat out regularly in Palm Beach and know which restaurants are good and which we won't go to again. The food was extremely over salted from the miso soup to the Black Cod ($56) to the sea bass ($65). The portions were supposed to be shareable, but they weren't. We had an an order of tempura vegetables in a batter that had no taste. The sushi was pretty good though if you're looking for the Nobu comparison, there is none. I've had better. The decor is nice but felt more like an upscale diner. If you're looking for any quiet, you won't find it as the small dining room is right next to the very active bar. Our service was good but I'm not a fan of them adding a 20% tip for a table of 3. I usually tip 25% unless it's already added, so the server unfortunately lost out. We won be back as there are so many other wonderful places to eat in Palm Beach where I won't need a large glass of water at 3:00 AM. because my food was so salty it was almost inedible. Chef -- use a lighter hand!

Yelp
I had dinner at the restaurant with friends - we all had a great time. Service was excellent, and our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate many food allergies. Food quality was A+. It's also very well decorated and coordinated in there, everything is beautiful to look at. Will be eating there again soon

Yelp
This place is a complete disaster. There was a line downstairs at the desk of people complaining. Took everything in me to not warn the family in front of us at the desk that were complaining about their room still not being ready for check in at 4pm (RUN!). This hotel should not be open as it is definitely not ready. An hour after checkin while having lunch downstairs, we received a phone call saying there would be no hot water for 4 hours. This is when we should have left. When we got to the room after walking by the construction in the hallway, not only was there no hot water- there was no water at all. The toilet wouldn't even flush. We were told it would take a few hours before the water would work. They are "nice" but do not care and will not compensate one bit, and we are paying $1100 a night! No one is able to make decisions at the front desk, they have to email someone and wait sometimes hours for a reply. Phone line is always busy. Cell phone service is spotty in rooms. Drilling noise outside of room in day. Plugs in bathroom didnt work. They charge 45$ per night for your car parking. Was told house car not in service at this time. Fridge in room is super loud..so loud you will say "what is that noise?" when tv is off. Woke up 2nd day to a 4ft trash bin directly outside my door collecting water from a ceiling leak. Had to dodge the drips walking out the door. Had to go to desk multiple times in a 3 night stay due to key not working. Housekeeping will walk in your room while you're in it without knocking, and knock when you have the do not disturb sleeping sign displayed...?! Get this- I checked out, drove away and an hour later I get a text message from the hotel they have left someone else's keys in my car. They asked me to drive an hour back to Palm beach to return them to the hotel when I'm halfway back to Miami. Are you kidding me??? The key wasn't even in my car! I guess they lost someone's car keys!! Hotel lobby smells like soy sauce (...my husband had another not so kind description). The restaurant is "Nobu style" (nobu would be very offended by this comparison) and it didn't have Diet Coke or salmon- they were out...at 1pm? Btw the only thing similar to nobu are the restaurant's prices, which are possibly more than actual nobu.....?! Tip- go to Imoto across street for better Japanese Rumor around town has it that a TON of guests are complaining. Rooms are small, no stocked mini bar (extremely loud fridge with 2 waters in it) and terrible views of power lines. Can hear EVERY WORD someone says in hallway just like they are in your room. So much so that I went to open the door when room service was announcing themselves at a room across the hall..when I hadn't even ordered anything. Heard pool is not heated yet but not confirmed.. There seems to be more than a few kinks that need to be ironed out in this new hotel-but trust me, palm houses iron is probably broken. Overheard they will start hosting weddings and events soon.. God bless those people. Go stay at the breakers, colony or 4S. Pro tip- the hot and cold symbols on the tub are backwards aka hot is cold and cold is hot
