"Freshly opened on Royal Palm Way, this 79-room hotel—Palm Beach’s first new opening in four years—revives a 1960s property once nicknamed “the heart of Palm Beach” that sat shuttered for years, now reborn after a major renovation begun in 2019 by Iconic Luxury Hotels with Cooper Carry. Passing the rose-hued façade, I’m greeted by a sprawling seashell installation by local artist Christa Wilm and a hand-blown coral Murano glass chandelier; as art consultant Minda Dowling says, “It has this almost ethereal quality that feels like stepping into The Little Mermaid—but make it couture, like something out of a Schiaparelli dream...
