"Undoubtedly, one of Vermont’s most well-known creemees is from Palmer Lane in Jericho. Run by a mom, pop, and their two daughters, Palmer Lane is not only committed to making an array of premium maple products, they are focused specifically on the creemee, offering it year-round. You can try a maple creemee here on its own, with other flavors like chocolate or black raspberry, or my favorite way, topped with maple sprinkles." - Kelley Ferro

One of the best creamies around, They also have a gift shop if you go inside. The peppermint was good, but I don't recommend it in a twist because it overpowers the Maple flavor.

We hired the Palmer Lane creemee truck for our summer wedding in Waitsfield and it was a hit. Our guests are still raving about it months later. My husband and I got to hop in the truck and serve guests, which made for the best photos. I highly recommend Palmer Lane if you’re looking to serve creemees at your wedding!

Vermonters love their local creemee places and everybody will claim their town has the best one. I’m from out-of-state and don’t have an attachment to any specific town here, so here’s my unbiased opinion after trying MANY different creemees across the state over 20 years visiting: Palmer Lane Maple has the best maple creemee I have ever tasted in Vermont! There is no comparison - every other maple creemee I’ve tried has this fake, artificial taste (and many don’t even have a maple taste at all). Sure, they might be creamy, but check and see the ingredients…so many creemee spots use fake powdered soft serve mix and artificial flavors. Not even real maple!! Palmer Lane literally has their own sugarhouse and uses their own maple syrup and real local milk to make their creemees. You can see the ingredients right inside the window when you’re ordering! This place also has tons of amazing maple treats inside including snacks, candies, maple syrup, and more! They even have other local Vermont-themed products, merch, and a lot of other stuff. When you first visit, be sure to step inside to see what they’re selling! The entire town of Jericho is at this ice cream shop in the evenings - it’s that good! Anyone that comes here becomes an instant regular. They have many different creemee flavors to choose from - not a ton all at once, but they rotate them on a weekly basis so you’re able to try lots of different flavors all the time. I believe they change flavors every Tuesday (you might need to verify that). They have everything from maple, chocolate, vanilla, ginger, orange, coffee, peppermint, strawberry, black cherry, pumpkin, peach, and so much more! They have sorbets, vegan options, gluten-free cones, and best of all - they have pints to-go that you can bring home and enjoy over multiple days!! No matter if it’s a sundae, milkshake, maple lemonade slushee, or just a simple maple creemee on a cone, I will always find room for Palmer Lane Maple. Pro tip: ask to get your creemee stacked instead of twisted! If, for example, they have a peach/maple twist, ask to get the flavors stacked on top of one another so you can try peach and maple separately! My favorite flavors are peach, chocolate, coffee, pumpkin and maple! Maple is THE BEST! And even the chocolate tastes more like “real” chocolate. I don’t know how they do it…when we vacation in Vermont we come here almost every day for weeks on end and never get tired. Come here when you’re driving by - it’s worth stopping at!!

Have been meaning to write this review for a while now - accidentally ran into Palmer Lane Maple, and I am so glad I did! I visited back in October and the owners were extremely hospitable, allowing me to try a few different products before I purchased. The Maple Creemees were also amazing.

The maple creemees here are the best in Vermont! The ice cream is very creamy and has a perfect amount of maple taste. The maple sprinkles add an extra texture which I love!

Google
Best maple creemee around. Great maple syrup, too. And a small specialty store mostly maple/Vermont themed gifts. The maple sugar topping on my creemee made it a little too sweet for me—might be too much of a good thing. You should try it. You don’t see that topping everywhere.

Google
Great place to stop for a creemee. They've got it all sorted, window outside where you order in one and another for pickup. The flavors are awesome, the staff friendly, and they've got a decent amount of space to sit. Only downsides are lack of parking and toilets. We got super lucky and managed to get a spot right in front, but a few people were struggling. But not having any toilets for customers is a huge issue, enough to dock a star. When we asked they recommended going to a gas station. It's a shame. Worth a stop, just go pee first!

As the name implies, this place sells maple products and gifts. They also sell soft serve ice cream during warm weather.

Yelp
A friend of a friend had me follow her in a car through winding roads to Palmer Lane. This was a cute little town with a cute store-operating out of a house. You know the place is good when people are lining up or waiting outside a place for food. They were offering ice cream but I put that on hold and stepped inside for my maple needs. Collette was so great in helping me decided what syrup grade to purchase by letting me do a tasting. I really liked the Amber grade but I went with the Dark grade to which she added that's the one most non-Vermonters go with as it "looks" like their maple syrup at home. I ended up getting dog biscuits, popcorn, beef jerky, smoked syrup, lip balm, maple candies for my co-workers, and of course, a jug of maple syrup, dark. We then ordered our creemees. I got a swirl of maple and coffee with maple sprinkles and picked it up at the window outside. It was pretty impressive-tasting and I wish we had these back home. So good.

Yelp
This place is beloved and perhaps I had a bad day but my maple cremee had a bit of a sour taste I didn't love.

Cassidy I.

Yelp
The maple creemees are very rich and thick! They have a variety of other ice cream flavors. There are also some items inside for sale, and these are great for gifts!

Chad M.

Yelp
Make good ice cream and love it in Jericho in the summer god bless the Palmer family for the great service.

Eric S.

Yelp
Everything Maple. Get the different syrup, try the maple sundae. Everything is good. Depending on weather, line can be up to 30 minutes. Worth whatever wait.

Tracy P.

Yelp
Super sad to say as this is a terrific maple cremee, but at 5 dollars ( ordered a small but they have a 5 dollar minimum for credit cards) this was the tiniest small I've ever had - anywhere. I left feeling ripped off.

Vivian O.

Yelp
Loved loved loved this maple créeme. The high quality can't be compare to any other creamery. It's family own which makes it extra special. And you know you can duplicate the flavor of their créeme. You can taste the actual maple in this decadent rich refreshing maple créeme. Also the gentleman who helped us was beyond nice and patient. Will be coming back to this place

Yelp
Holy SMOKE, Palmer Lane opened for Thanksgiving break. Maple Creemees are back for a week and wow, amazing. It was a fabulous and unexpected treat.

Minh-Chau D.

Yelp
The maple creemee is amazingly soft and sweet here. Truly converted me, whenever my friend goes home to Vermont, I always try to tag along just so we can make this one of our stops. Good prices, $3 dollars I believe for a small size which is honestly a good size for one. Got the maple sprinkles this time for an extra dollar, if you like crunch and sprinkles on your ice cream go for it, but I'm not a big sprinkles fan so I'll skip next time. My friend got the black raspberry and maple twist which tasted mainly of black raspberry. We both agree to stick to the maple creemee. The store also has loads of maple products from syrups to candies.

Yelp
As someone who grew up in and still lives in the state of Vermont, I can comfortably say they have the best Maple Creemees (and best Creemees in general).

Hank N.

Yelp
Wow, I have done the creemee tour throughout most of the state as a native (see, I avoided the Vermonter term - don't have the 3 generations) but this is incredible. I dare say the best creemees in the state! To be fair this is comparing the maple creemee and only with maple sprinkles. These aren't your regular colored sprinkles or even chocolate ones. These are baked maple candies and crushed on to the delicious maple flavor. The creemee itself is very smooth and refreshing - I'll be honest the sprinkles are so wonderful, I can't speak too much to the underlying maple flavor itself - I should do a taste taste with and without sprinkles, but every time I can't bear the thought of eating without the sprinkles.

Ian J.

Yelp
Incredible maple creemee's, you can't go wrong. Delicious, affordable, and worth stopping by.

Leanne S.

Yelp
Love this place! The maple flavor is delicious. We went here twice during our five day stay in the area and would have gone more if we discovered them sooner!

Gaby P.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Ordered the maple sundae that comes with maple syrup and and maple sprinkles. The ice cream texture is silky and the flavor is incredibly unique, a must try if you're in the area!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
This place deserves 6 stars for how AMAZING the maple creemees are!!! Native Vermonter and self-proclaimed foodie here, telling you that you have NOT had a MAPLE CREEMEE until you have had a PALMER LANE MAPLE CREEMEE. We drive from South Burlington once a week to have these tasty treats. My 2 yr old loves the "baby" size that comes on a mini cone. My 4 yr old indulges in a "kiddie" size with rainbow sprinkles. And I usually get a small which is plenty of ice cream. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy your ice cream while observing the friendly dogs that accompany their families, bikers taking a creemee break, or other little kids with maple ice cream dripping off their cones and onto their shirts. I love this place. A few tips: They get their cream from the St. Albans Cooperative Creamery, so you know its good! Parking is on the side/back of the building. There are no public restrooms.

Yelp
I went to Palmer Lane Maple after hearing about their maple ice cream. I was kindly greeted after entering the storefront. I was a week late for ice cream (creemee season ends late October at PLM). Palmer Lane Maple has so many other maple options inside. There is maple soda, maple jerky, maple popcorn, and even maple candy. Customers will find a variety of maple products as well as award winning authentic maple syrup here. Overall, I was amazed by the selection at Palmer Lane Maple. I will be back to try their famous maple ice cream one day. If you're looking for one stop shop maple products in VT, Palmer Lane Maple is an excellent choice. I give Palmer Lane Maple a 4.5 rating. If you go to TallTravelEats, you're able to see Palmer Lane Maple store.

Yelp
if you're looking for one of, if not THE, best maple creemee around vermont - look no further. i discovered this place last summer and have been a handful of times since then. i'm never disappointed with how delicious the creemees are. not only is there a maple flavor, but maple sprinkles too! when you walk in there's an instant familiarity of vermont and it's small town shops, and of course everything that meets your eye is MAPLE. maple candies (hard candies, toffees, etc.), maple foods, maple dog treats even.

Michael D.

Yelp
Went there because of the favorable ratings when traveling on vacation. I got two small cones and the price was over $10 too pricey for a cremees. Maple flavor was good but again too costly. I felt bad that I could not tip using my credit card. The Managment should fix that those kids were working so hard. Sorry about that kids.....I'll pass the next time.

Marty L.

Yelp
I tasted 5 different creemees when I was in Vermont recently. These ones are the best. The flavor is packed full of maple, when many have maybe 50% of the flavor. I personally donlt care for the sprinkles however. They are actually good, but personally the texture distracts me from the creamy ice cream.

Emma G.

Yelp
The creemees were so delicious that we couldn't take a photo as we'd already devoured them. We got Maple/chocolate swirl and black cherry/maple swirl with chocolate sprinkles.

Megan F.

Yelp
Hands down. best maple creemee in Vermont. You need to experience those maple sprinkles.

Morgan L.

Yelp
Wow... the best maple creemee I've ever had! Creamy and thick, just the right amount of sweet. I've had some maple creemees elsewhere that leave much to be desired in the sweet department. This was simply awesome! Prices were reasonable, 4 flavors "on tap", friendly folks, a great outside sitting area and maple crumbles available as a topping for a small additional charge! I highly recommend this adorable shop for creemees and maple products!

Rose H.

Yelp
This little shop is amazing. We stopped for the creamees and were surprised by the great selection of other maple products. We tried the maple creamee and the blackberry. Both were outstanding. It's also got the sweetest country shop feeling. The staff were all very kind. Very Vermont in all the best ways.

Tom V.

Yelp
Definitely in our top three favorite spots for maple creemees. Especially with the unique crushed maple candy "sprinkles" (why don't more creemee stands do this?). Not the cheapest creemee around, but wouldn't say that if they didn't have one flaw: the creemees are hollow inside. Not sure if it's to save money, but besides my fam, saw three others almost lose the tops of their creemees because they weren't sturdy enough. Fill the middle of the swirl and this is a 5/5 spot in my book!

Bob B.

Yelp
Great place for real creamies! High quality ingredients, never runny with ice crystals ruining the experience that we see with other local creemie offerings.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Hands down, this place has the best maple creemees (soft serve ice cream) in Vermont. The ice cream is extremely rich and creamy and has a very strong maple flavor. The shop is quaint with all sorts of good Vermont gifts and souvenirs and they have a nice porch to sit on outside while you eat your ice cream.

Debbie S.

Yelp
Totally worth the stop, or drive here. It's a beautiful drive out of Burlington on Route 15. The best creeme (soft ice-cream) anywhere, especially the blue berry...and the maple...and the chocolate...you get my drift. Maple syrup is delish too, as are there maple candies. Milk comes from a local co-op.

Amy M.

Yelp
Amazing creemees, especially the maple flavors! Very rich tasting, made from local ingredients and friendly service. The home made maple sprinkles are actually maple candy crumbles and they are to die for! They have plenty of cute VT gifts there as well. It's a must stop if in the area.
